I am just completely psyched at the prospect of being in Merrie Olde
in the month upcoming, to present cousin Halfast's minimum opus on
the origins of Ents for that Big Fiftieth Birthday Bash in Birmingham,
embarking beforehand on an breakneck eight-day twisted great
circle self-driving whirlwind tour of yon "precious stone set in
the silver sea" (the shifting itinerary for which now at last
nears its myguideBritain's fruition!); and thus, in hopes of
perhaps a few "chance meetings" and mirthful times with
fine TTF-friends there on the Other Side of Beleg Aear
-- joxy the fox judicious and elegant Eledhwen and Legolam
and many others -- I am emboldened to inquire of any who may
give heed and care to make answer: who among all of y'all upon our
beloved Forum, NPWs and FADs and N/As, Tolkienists and Tolkienistas,
will also be in attendance at the huge hemicentennial celebration 8/11-15?
