As far as I know (which isn't much) I have not heard of anything like that going on. But then again I don't look for that kind of thing either. Sorry!:o Anyone else?

Well, I do know that in Holly Michigan, each year, and coming up very soon is the annual Renaissance festival. It is from august to october. There, many people come fully dressed in clothes of that era. The shops are of leather goods, swords, armor, crafted items. There are pubs, magic, shows, comedy and games like axe/knife throwing and press the wench. Each weekend has a theme like Jousting which is a personal favorite of mine, or Romance which I believe is a royal wedding or something and an event connected to each. The whole area is built up like a small village. Its a good time.

Yeah, renaissance festivals are cool. And there are groups around that do act out historical stuff, though maybe not Tolkien specifically. ;)

I don't know of any Middle Earth fair type things, but you can get sword replicas and a few other things on the web.

A really good one is www.thenoblecollection.com

Hey man,

Renaissance fairs are really cool and you should check them out. Even though they are not specifically "Tolkien" I have seen many people in full Middle Earth garb along with swords (myself included heehee)
