This is myself and my brother after a play we were in. Ben is not that tan. He is wearing stage makeup. They had him put on a ton of base-face-paint, but I got away with just wearing what I normally wear, a dab here and there meant to cover any unsightly blotches.

The first is myself and my friend Josh-Josh after the same play as in the last post. I am somewhat invisible in the side, but if you really try to see me you can tell that I have a nice smile. . .or half a nice smile. . .but anyway, this is me and my friend Josh. . .The second is myself with three other cast members. The play was the Greek Tragedy Orestia. I am Electra and the three girls behind me are my ladies in waiting/chorus. The background in this picture was added in (I'm sure you could tell). The girl with the reddish hair was the one who owned the camera, and she thought the white wall we took the picture in front of was boring, so she pasted in a picture of the view from up at the community college in my town. If you really are curious in Oregon/Washington geography you might pick up a few tips in this picture.
Almost everyone in the play had a duel role. This one is me as my second part, one of the Furies who chase Orestes around to punish him for killing his mother. Orestes is none other than my darling brother Ben. I love chasing him around in my evil Fury-ness.

Galdor's brother is another former TTF'er, Dr. Ransom, but somehow the good Dr managed to escape the camera on this visit. I'll get him next time.

Ok, more pictures from that play. . .

The first one is a group of us at the cast part. Lizybet is sitting in pink. Benji is standing with a water bottle. I am standing between the two guys with Josh-Josh's hat on (I almost forgot that I had stolen it by the end of the night and started to go home with it still on my head. . .but I finally gave it back). Josh-Josh is the red head on my left (your right). He is hatless and threatened us several times that night with what he called "white-boy-dancing" which is sort of a rhythm-less hopping in a very very very very weird way. Then we have Noah. I have no idea what he is doing with that stick.

The second one is Ben pretending to be an intellectual professor and me his lovely socialite sister.

The third one was when the photographer suggested he dance with me for the camera and he dipped me. I WASN'T ready for that. I nearly fell flat on my back, and it sort of comes out as an odd angle.

Ok, if I have a picture of myself, it is probably because I got caught at someone elses function. All the military ones are too old. So this will have to do. Shy, does not begin to cover it.

Well, the sun was out and hot AND hurting my eyes that day. Anyone got a pepsi!? You can see the nose of my brother-in-law on the left a bit. My sis took the pic. She almost got a full front face shot but I refused to fall for her coaxing. Though you can not see, my eyes are very blue and sometimes, well, I have been told, that they sometimes look greyish. This was a very formal event. Hey, The shirt was silk! Suit and tie? Not on your life. There was part of another guy to the right but I did not know him so when I cropped this to make it smaller, he got clipped out.

Our current HQ is in Northern Louisiana which still operates normally with the exception of the releif workers. Rhi in Oxford--I was only there for a few hours, unfortunately (God forbid they consult the students about what to see), but other than our walking tour of the colleges I did manage to see two major Tolkien sites; his (and his wife's) grave at Wolvercote cemetery, and the Eagle and Child pub. I'm the person in all three pictures. You can see the 'Beren' and 'Luthien' on the tombstone in the first picture (I ended up explaining the story several times to everyone on the bus). In the picture of the Eagle and Child the room behind me, which used to be an enclosed back parlor, is where Tolkien and Lewis and their friends would gather, and the framed letter over the mantel is signed by all of them and addressed to the proprieter. The man in the background was laughing at us for taking pictures :rolleyes:

This is the newest edition to the The Sane-1 family.

Her name is Bellatrix (Bella, Bellsy, BellaElla, BellsyEllsy, TrixyBelle, Belle, Chickenmerm, Jake, etc. :rolleyes:)

She's now 7 months old, she was born on Jul. 7th last year. In this photo she's only 2 months old and it's only a few days after we got her. :)

She's really cute, but she's grown up a lot since this photo. She's BIG now. :) And a bit of a saggy baggy puss, but reallllllly cuddly. :)

I'm finally posting some real wedding photos from the "official" batch. Just getting around to scanning them.

The first is actually two pictures in the same file. One showing off my beautiful dress, the other showing off my handsome groom in his lovely uniform (don't tell him I called it "lovely." He'd start gagging.).

The second is me hanging on him. By the end of the photo session Matt was about to go postal. They certainly took a lot of pictures. . .I'm just giving you my favorites.

Finally we have the moment itself, when we sealed it forever, I love this picture, even if it is out of focus. My mother-in-law swears she heard me sigh with relief when the minister said "man and wife." I don't remember doing this . . . but it wouldn't be atypical.

Four months later. Still happily ever so far. He's a true prince.

How's this for precious? These people are friends of mine. The girl being hugged won a drawing earning herself 'First Hug', getting this pic put in the paper and everything. This also put her dad as one of the first on shore. To the side you see the younger sister ready to pounce. :D

This was really exciting to see because these kids and their siblings are like nephews and nieces to me. :)

I haven't posted a photo in, like, three years so here is a new(er) one for your amusement. It was taken in fall 2006 right after I finished racing in the Schuylkill Banks Regatta in Philadelphia. This particular regatta is known as a "head race" where the competitors race against the clock for three miles. To say I was a bit tired when the photo was taken would be a large understatement...:)

Two pictures taken at my sister's wedding last month. The first is my lil' baby looking adorable and eating her head band. The second is the female half of the bridal party, me included. I'm the short haired blonde with the dress that is a size too big because my sister wanted to order the dresses in February, less than a month after I gave birth, and I guessed a little too conservatively how much weight I could lose in between shopping day and June. That dress was pinned in like five places to keep from falling off me and was incredibly uncomfortable.
