Hey everyone!

Any college students with a Facebook account, post here and let everyone know! If we can get together, we can form a Tolkien Forum Group!

That's a great idea, the only problem is that you can only form groups with people within your own school. So unless someone else at your school is an active member of TTF (odds of which are pretty slim) you won't have more than one member (yourself) in your group. :(

I haven't overlooked that. I was going to email the staff/administrators/whatever at Facebook and see if they would create a group that spans across schools. Like "I went to private school, b**** (Lenior-Rhyne Chapter)" Can they not do that?

Well now that global groups are an option on facebook, I think its time we revisited this thread. If we have a decent amount of people interested, why not start a group?

Ah! Thanks for pointing that out to me. I haven't really checked up on Facebook in a while. But, I've already made the group! I might should have waited to see how much interest there was in it, but I got ahead of myself.:rolleyes:

I guess anyone who wants to join can post thier name and I'll send them and invite (or they can visit my profile to join, here (http://lrc.facebook.com/profile.php?id=159001003))
Its a closed group, of course.
