A man sat on the chair in the corner of the room; a glass of cognac in hand. He was a pale, thin-skinned greasy haired elder. He looked like a dead man walking. The man was an Elf of the Falas though that name was long since forgotten. He lived through the Wars of the North and fled after the defeat of Gondolin to the south. His dark brown eyes penetrated the darkness of the inn and reflected bronze off the light emanating from the torches on the wall brackets. A cold aura came from him. His name was Iceheart.

There's always time for a pint, Janna thought as she glanced at the inn's wooden sign. She reached down to pat her left pocket, and was disappointed at that lack of sound that the action produced. There may not necessarily be the money for it, though.
Her stomach won out. She hadn't eaten since the previous noon; there were'nt many stops between here and the Iron Hills. Carefully, Janna opened the inn door and looked around. There was a single man emaciated elf sitting in a corner alone, and she did not see a keeper. Suddenly she felt more hesitant, but sat down anyway.

A hooded man walks into the inn and sees only two people in there. He goes and sits at the bar. He was a shady character not the pleasant sort to be around. He looked around and his cold eyes looked all over the inn. His name was Majimaune the Slayer, deadly to any enemy.

Janna gave the newcomer a once-over as he entered, and turned her attention back to the bar. There was no one behind it...she got up and got herself a mug of ale from a tun's spigot, and sipped the cool liquid carefully.

Iceheart popped his glass of cognac down on the table. He stood up and swayed dizzily over to the bar and sat down next to the female who had come into the inn.

'What's your name?' He said aloud to the young girl sitting on the barstool.

'Where are you headed? There ain't many places in Dorwinion since the Easterlings kicked my cousins out towards the great Greenwood. This place is the only tavern between the Eastern Sea and Anduin unless you go to Dol Guldur which I don't recommend and if you don't have any ideas of how to get to somewhere like the Iron Hills, I have got some great maps from some Northmen who live by the Carnen River up northeast.'
