Another work in progress that I started earlier today.

This emblem is in it's most basic state.
The 5 points represent the 5 wizards.
each one contains a cirth rune as explained here (http://www.forodrim.org/gobennas/heraldry/heraldry.htm#Istari)
and it will probably end up changing drastically with the addition of texture, and value.

Any comments?

I think it's great!

It'll be good to see when it is completely finished with the textures you mentioned and with the addition of a possible light source to pick up highlights and shadows. Are you thinking this might be made out of metal for a kind of broach or something? Maybe even a ring of some kind, although there are enough of them in Middle Earth :D

Personally, one thing i would add would be a gradient change between the sets of colours. Where say the brown goes into the blue, instead of it being a harsh colour change, i would make it graduated.

It's also good that you've designed it as a vector (it appears this way anyhow) so you can scale it up/down as you see fit.

Speaking of emblems, is there an emblem as such for the Hobbit or for Bilbo?
