To the mods, if this is in the wrong section, feel free to move it.
Earlier today I stumbled across a great website (http://www.tuckborough.net/index.htm)that says it's an encyclopedia of the Third Age of Middle Earth (from the perspective of all of Tolkien's works, not the movies), but it covers just about everything. It's very detailed and pretty much lists all relevant information in its articles (including background in earlier ages). Just as a hint for how deep it goes, it even talks about the Balrogs' wings debate in some detail under the Balrog section. It's definitely a handy site and worth a look. ;)
