I agree this is by far the best RPG I have been involved w/ yet, other than the fact I missed so much when I went away for one night:p You guys must have been busy. Now I want to make sure, Ciryaher you are semi-healed now right? And now we have to go to the gates if I am correct. Just making sure I am following it right.

Its weird how ths rp came about though usally a load of talk happens before we actually do so good role play, but it all just happend spontainiously(or how ever you spell it)

Ok, here is how this is going to work.

Once everyone who wants to go on the adventure is ready, I will start another thread FOR THAT JOURNEY ONLY. You will be able to remain in the Rivendell thread if you choose and enjoy yourselves, or come to the new thread, but you have to have been brought through with me, so you HAVE to say if you want to go. The discussions for both threads will remain here.

Anyone who attempts to post on the new thread without having been brought there will have their posts automatically deleted. I ask those that do come on the journey should follow the storyline and please try to watch out for 'interference' from those not part of the story.

it's good, I admit, but RP 5 was by far he best yet. Cir, I'm going to be on the journey, but want to add in the second elament, like gandlaf's journey in LoTR. I will become part of the journey, but not instantly. Is that ok with you?

Ok is just me or is RPG#20 moving extremely slow. It seems like people just are posting really slow, we haven't even left the beach yet and we are on page 2!!!!!!! I would like to see some action take place in this RPG, or more like I would like to at least get off the beach. I didn't change into my final form for nothing:p
anyways that is my view, let's just get things movin.

What i'm seeing is a quality RP, not some rabbl that can be found here as of late, with one sentence posts like, ok guys let's go! And so the battled the orcen thingies. This is quality, and I think that is all that really matters. This isn't going to be an RP which will end two days after it began. And the ship isn't leavingtill Ciryaher boards, we can't leave anyone behind.

Sorry Dengen, I think you got the wrong impression from me. This is by far the best RPG, I have participated in yet, Note one that I have participated in(because I have been reading RPG#5Turmoil in Gondor, and have read RPG#4 and they kick butt to put it bluntly), anyway, i love the RPG. It just seems it takes people a while to post. Sorry if I offended you, and of course we ait for Ciryaher.

It's still good. One question, Elesar, how'de you get from rivendel to the eastern seas in no time while fighting the orcs in Rivendell. Just doesn't match up.

Dengen, I escaped the orcs in the early morning, and I flew my boat to the Anduin (where I had escaped too) with my silver wizard powers (my boat is mostly steel). No one has to join me, I was not planing on going to the city, but if no one joins me, I might have too.

Ok, here is the scoop. ;) (always wanted to say that....)

I, upon my travels (as a youngster, read my RP profile) went once to the city of Dunwain. Things both good and terrible happened there, and not only am I not allowed to enter the city (wow, emagine that....), but I am still haunted by memories of the place. I will set up a camp on the shore outside of the city.

1) The Blue Wizards perhaps think that the ring hasn't been destroyed and want to try and assail the West and claim it.

2) Perhaps they [the Blue Wizards] founded a league of Black Numenorean magi and are trying to bring about Melko's return a purpose

3) Something completely different is happening and some enigma has arisen.

Alright, NOBODY post on the RP20 thread until we figure out what we're going to do.

I personally don't want it to be the Final Battle because it is a little too epic and I don't think it will come off very well. The idea of the Blue Wizards makes the tale less final and instead allows more stories to come after. That's just my take on it. What about everyone else? Melko is do-able, but I don't think it will turn out as well as it could otherwise.

Like where it is ongoing, and we could make like little RPs for individual battles or special missions. Unfortunately I will not be able to check anything on this forum until probably now until Sunday.
This leaves me extremely frightened, because i know you people and most a postaholics. I have but one suggestion, I will already be way behind on mostly everything and will probably come back with about over 100 e-mails all stating Tolkien forum reply Blah blah blah.

Anywho, if we could find some way to please take it moderately slow these next few days in RPG#20, I would much appreciate it, be much obliged you might say. I do take a major part in this RPG, it being the Blue wizards and all, so that is all I ask, you don't have to follow it, but I would enjoy it.

I'll inform of any of their movements, so we know where they are They are currently rallyng by Gundabad,and shall strike out south moving near the Misty Mountains, bypassing Greenwood for that time and striking deep at Lothlorein and then shall slit at Rohan/Arnor and Gondor while the Eastern shall, by plan, adance west over the calm eastern lands with ease and break whatever is left. We may have to make a stand on the plains of the Brown lands, if so we'll be wedged.

this is sure interesting...we have to think of a way to surprise them..anyone read the redwall or shannara series those books don't have half bad battle tactics. Since it seems if we band together we still come up 10,000 short, so it seems best to let them waste they're numbers on smaller and harder to catch armies and slowly we shall notice them tiring out

Ok I am here to finally set something straight. It seems that some of my White Wizards seem to beleive that since "they are Mair" they are all powerful.

Dain Ironfoot you are the main offender in this. I hereby declare that only I am a Mair in the White Council. I fully agree that the nunber of Mair should be limited on this forum, otherwise we will become banal, and not that powerful.

Dain Ironfoot I have had more than one complaint about you from sources I will not mention. Seeing as you are new to the White Council I do not know where your little ego trip comes from. I have tried to deal with you in a PM, but it did not work. I am afraid I am going to have to ask you to leave the White Council. I do not want any strife to come out of it, just think of it as you are "grounded" for a while. I will find a new person to take the place as the White of Yellow. I am truly sorry that it had to come to this, but I just can not sit and watch you act like you are this mega power house. I hope this will only last for a time and that I can put you back in your position soon, but I am afraid the power has gotten to your head.

Note the fact to all my wizards, YOU ARE NOT MAIR. Most have not claimed to be , but for those who get the idea.

I hope this setteles the dispute somewhat.

Actually when you first came you claimed to be a dwarf, then when you saw me take my final form in RPG#20 you up and decided to take the form of a Mair, which makes no sense. I told you by the way that I only wanted you out for a little while, I would like you to come back eventually, but now it seems to have been turned the other way.

Elessar I am sorry that this desicion does not please you but things have happened involving Dain, that you do not no about. I was pretty much left w/ no choice.

What the heck is going on here? Lord Goroth, why are you abandoning my city? It will not fall, not while I am still a member of this RP. Do not underestimate me, I have the power to beat frail easterlings and a pitiful maiar. I refuse to get a lable put upon my head as being the one who is repeatedly forced to flee. You made me seem like the bad guy in Dunwain, killing off all of my friends in the northern village first, and I didn't complain then. But now you are trying to make my reign at Rhun (which was only to last until that seige was over) come to a loosing end. Even if you plan on coming to our aid after Alatar's scraps, dont plan on finding anything save the cool ashes of a finished war.

Ok I only just discovered that this discussion existed, but would like to put in my two cents.

I don't see why aid does not come to the city in its hour of need. I will not let this city fall so easily as you might think. I agree with Elessar that he should not always be made the retreat. Dengen you continually make yourself the hero of this rpg, and should remember that we are of the same company. We are all a team, which some of you seem to be forgetting.

1.Alatar was either extremely weakened or destroyed, I think he was destroyed. Pallando is attacking Rhunwain at the moment, Arathin and I are defending that city.

2.Dengen and Ciryaher are going to attack the remanents of Alatar's army, which isn't much. Pallando is attacking me, and dont worry, I wont let him come to the western world while there is still blood in my bones.

3. Alatar's remaining army is extremely small, I think it was said to be about 2 or 3 thousands, And I think Pallando's measures twenty or thirty thousands...but I might be wrong on the later.

Well, in the next RPGs we have we should make a limit to what everyone can post. Some posts are short and MUME style while others are long (*peer at Elessar*) and the people who are posting seem to think that they are the only ones contributing to the story. People should stick to writing there own character (or characters because you CAN make them up) actions.
