Valar and Maiar are both Ainur, so you don't get to use them.

There aren't 500 Ents, so you cant use THAT many, I would say there were no more than 40.

I guess you can have that many dragons, Dengen.

I suppose everything else looks reasonable. BTW, you can only get reinforcements once per RL day, and no more than 500 of YOUR SPECIES (Me and Mike get men, Dengen gets orcs, Telchar gets dwarves, etc.).

My forces are nearing the southern marches of Ithilien. I am currently at Barad-Dur.

As for the Ents: it's perfectly possible. Maybe this war takes place before the Entwives left, before Frodo's journey, or maybe it takes place after Frodo's journey, and they have come back, or someone found them and reunited them...

The 101 dragons...it does seem a bit unrealistic...but as long as you don't make them into some story...and then a sequel....

Crithabanga-the mithril crown which awes all who near it. Also used as a helm.
Steed- Maetha- Black steed which rides as quickly as air, and travels as quitley.
Anyhow, Ciryaher, am I supposed to reside in Barad-Dur? And Thorondor, i laugh at you. You are a simple bird, messenger of a weak Vala, nothing compared to my great lord Melkor, greatest of all the Vala. Indeed you are correct, yet I attempted to be original and reside within my own dark tower, Barad-Gostannen, deep within the northernost section of the Mountains of Ash in north Mordor, though i could use Barad-Dur as am office of sorts. But um, wasn't it broken and completely destroyed after Sauron's fall?

On closer inspection it was found that the estimation of the harm done by these Shields was a little exagerated as the attack took place after nightfall when there were no orcs or Balrogs in the camp!!

They had in fact been moving towards Edoras to attack the Roharim, but now warned of what Mike Was doing they waited for his next attack. As the shields moved forward the orcs set fire to the grass in front of the Shields blinding the troops with the smoke while archers shot burning arrows over the top to set the grass behind the attackers alight.

First of all, I already said that lives were lost, so you cant post something else saying they had left...


THEN YOU MADE ME ATTACK. That's not fair. You made my 'shields' move foward. You can't make my characters do something.

Mike you forgot that orcs are creatures of darkness. You chose to attack after nightfall. This is the time that the orcs would be best at fighting so why would they stay in camp at this time? Having moved out of the camp towards Edoras they were in front of your shields. Or are you saying that you moved toward Edoras to build your shields? If so how could you do so out of sight? A grass fire allowed you to get your troops out of there with out too much trouble but not to watch my movements! Therefore no B.S. I just delt with your report based on faulty intelligence and told you what really happened. I did not try to attack and kill your troops you notice.

Ok, that was my bad...but how could you be out of camp at that time, and be shooting arrows behind me. Unless your arrow can fly really far, they had to be where I attacked

I did not need to be in the camp, I needed to be able to get a small number of archers to within 200 yards of the closest approach of your shields for them to be able to shoot arrows over the top of them. A decent war bow should be able to reach at least 250 if not 300 yards. So as your troops were forcing their way through the camp a number of orcs with bows ran back to near the campsite and as soon as you were close enough shot over the top. This would be enough to cause problems for your troops while not being enough to put them at serious risk.

Umm...10000 is WAY too many for somebody who has just entered the fray.

Dengen...pray do not throw thy blows too wide, lest thy arm be caught. Do not spar with the Naugrim; we have enough on our hands now, and I favor them over the Eldar, who should be desposed of far before we even consider destroying the dwarves (which I will refuse to do).

If you attack the Naugrim, you will lose the Haradrim as allies.

NOTE: many of you may wonder about my little bit of 'Magick.' If you choose to use Magick follow these rules: Only Eldar and Edain may have these powers (exceptions: Kem, Gothmog, Dengen), and they may not have destructive capabilities. NO BENDING OF THIS RULE. And you can't make you or anyone else impervious to harm, either.

Mike, only Beorn himself could transform into a bear. The beornings were just the people who lived in that area, whom Beorn's descendants governed. Besides, why should the haughty men of the Anduin vales come to the aid of a distant King?

And Rohan would come into the fight LONG before the Beornings (who did not go to war). This is not going to be some God-forsaken 'Dagor Mithmor' clone where ridiculous forces and claims run rampant. I suggest you remove the Beornings from your posts.

I also suggest you find someone on the board that can command the Rohirrim before I do (Pontifex could do this if he's willing).
