Who would you be in Middle Earth?

If you had to be any character from Middle Earth who would you be and why?

Um, would I have to choose a girl? In my opinion, the girls got sucky parts so I'd have to be a guy even though I'm a girl.

ya, there are no really good girl parts in LOTR, all we do is sit around and give good advise and look good.;) but i woulda wanted to be Aragorn or Pippin. Aragorn is FREE and Pippin is really funny.

I think I could be either Arwen, Galadriel, or Eowyn given my mood. *lol* Aragorn has actually played a big role in my life, and it's really weird to say that. But if I got to choose which character I wanted to be in LOTR, I would insert myself as an elf. :D

I would like to be any elve or warrior just to be on the action my character would be alwasy on adventures not the principal or the most important but on adventures it would be friend of gandalf or something like that..

ya, i would choose Aragorn, hes a ranger, and rangers can do whatever they want, practically. i mean, ya there are limits. Eowyn would be cool too, shes pretty cool, but she doesnt have much of a part in whole story, i dont think.

good- gandalf or Feanor

bad- sauron because he was behind the scenes for a long time and was able to build his way up and basically control everyone except for morgoth/melkor

and maybe like a balrog or dragon

There is only one semi-good girl part, Eowyn. She disguises herself as a guy and kills one of the bad guys. She also is unconsious for a few days. And Legolas didn't find anybody, or at least it didn't say anything about it in the appendix. If I had to choose a guy (other than Legolas to make it fair;))I would be Pippin, because he is sooooo funny, or Samwise because he was really faithful to Frodo, and I thought that was really cool.

Girls had terrible parts. That's why I'd be Eomer or Gimli. Live in a cave or be king of Rohan. Good choices.

Perhaps Frodo, yeah, I guess. He's the hero. I always want to be the hero. If I stay a girl, I'd be Eowyn. Best chick part in the book. S'ya.

If I were a mortal, I would be Luthien. She was THE coolest of the mortals.

If I were an Elf, Glorfindel. Dead, yeah, but draws even with Mithrandir on the Valaraukar (Balrog) count, and gets to come back with the Valar in the War of Wrath!

In MY opinion, all girl parts DO suck. I mean, no girls in the Fellowship. No girl supposed to be in battle. No girl rangers. No girls in Ithilien. Come on. No nothing for girls. Sure, we get to hang around and look pretty, but nothing good

I gave this some thought and I would be Galadriel. The woman is beautiful, bold, intellegent, and powerful. And what other character in Middle Earth has a history that is as long and rich as she.

Um, if all I wanted was to have a long life and be rich, then the girl parts would work. But, if on the off chance I had the good luck to be thrown headlong into ME, I would want adventure, power, excitement, and exploration of places I'd never seen. I'm not one to hang around in an elven wood for the majority of my endless life before heading off to the Gray Havens. I'd at least travel the world before then.

Then, Eogthea, be someone like Luthien. I mean, she got to go chase Beren (and get out of Doriath), fight Morgoth, scare off Sauron, reduce his fortress to a pile of dust, rescue the silly mortal mentioned earlier, save people, run aroune, her mom was an angel, she was a pretty powerful magic user from what I can tell, come on. Cool girl part or what?

And Galadriel got to do quite a bit in her youth. Read all of Tolkien's books. There's plenty of cool female roles.

And all I have to say is that I have a weird family;
Galadriel reminds me of my mother
Grima (Wormtongue) reminds me of my father
Boromir reminds me of my brother
Denethor is most like my gung-ho cousin (according to my good friend Duwen)

I would fit in too well as a hobbit of the Shire, my little town of Kewaunee is so much like it *shudders*
