RP 25: Singing in Lothlórien

[Wizdom]

wizz walked around the forest of lothlorien. he sudenly burst out in song... "The faster were falling, were stopping and stalling, were running in circles again.... Just as things were looking up you said it wasn't good enough, but still were trying one more time...... Maybe were just trying to hard... when realy its closer then it is to far.... Couse i'm into deap and i'm trying to keep up above in my head instead of going under again! Couse I'm in to deap and i'm trying to keep up above in my head, instead of going under! instead of going under! seems like each time i'm with you i loose my mind, couse i'm bending over backwards to realate... Maybe were just trying to hard.... when realy its closer then it is to far.... Couse i'm in to deap! and i'm trying to keep up above in my head instead of going under! couse i'm into deap and i'm trying to keep up above in my head instead of going under, instead of going under again!!! I can't sit back and wonder why, it took so long for this to die... And i hate it, When you fake it... you can't hide it you might as well imbrace it... So belive me, its not easy, It seems that somethings telling me, that i'm into deap! and i'm trying to keep up above in my head, instead of going under, Instead of going under again!!!" he finished... he heard claping and turned and saw ______.

[Lucie Baggins]

A Hobbit was standing behind him. She had long blond curly hair and a dazzling smile ;) .
"Hi," she says, "I'm Lucie Baggins- Kit's sister. He told me you'd be here (that's silly I suppose- you live here!), and he asked me to give you this." She hands Wizdom a letter. It reads:

Hello Wizdom. I wanted to warn you my sister is coming for a holiday to Lothlorien (haha just kidding :D !) Sorry I won't be able to come with her and visit you, but I have my duties as Thain :( . I hope Courtney and I can come and visit soon.

*At that moment in walks a young elf -Rinlaithwen- tall with golden hair and the most peculiar eyes, green but if you look hard you will see that they change some times. She is clad in a green gown, the color of leave in the spring. She walks up to Lucie Baggins and Wizdom.* "If I may intrude, I was hoping to have a word with Wizdom."......

In fact, Glory is right about someone being near. They all hear the sound of someone singing in a ridiculous falsetto voice.
"Galileo, galileo, galileo figaro magnifico-o-o-o-o-o!" A tall, red-haired hobbit steps out into the clearing. "I got away!" he says happily. They all look at one another, confused. "I'm Kit," the hobbit introduces himself. "I managed to escape being Thain for a while, and I thought I'd come and pay Wizdom a visit." He notices Lucie. "You made it, then." Kit says to his sister.

'well there certanly are alought of people here isn't there.' he said smiling at kit. 'my old friend how long has it been?' he asked still smiling.

*looks around and she sits down* I wonder if I can eat those fruits *points to some fruits on a tree* I never knew how to reconoice poisoned ones...

Kit shrugs. "I don't expect any fruit in the Golden Wood is poisonous." he tells Glory. He looks at Wizdom with a smile. "How long has it been?" Kit echoes. "Too long, my friend. Far too long."

[Glory]

well I don't know a lot about plants and herbs Mirna used to give me advices about that stuff but she is not here, Is she? *smiles* thanks kit I'll one then *takes one fruit from the tree*

[Anira the Elf]

*anira rides up on her horse and is singing her favorite song

I fell in love with the girl at he rock show,

* looks arround embaressed cuz she can't carry a tune that well

"u were talking about my daughter mirina?" as she looks at all her friends, and then smiles at her father Wizdom. "she is fabulous with herbs. yes those berries are fine to eat." and starts to pick them of the bush

Smiles at his daughter as he remembers the words to the song she was singing. "Hanging out behind the club on the week end, acting stupid getting drunk with my best friends, I coudn't wait for my summer at the warp tour, I remember it's the first time that I saw her there... She's getting kicked out of school couse she's failing, I'm kinda nervous goes i let her imitate me. (Are those the words???) She's the one, She'll always be there, She took my hand and that minuet i sware! I fell in love with the girl at the rock show, She said why and i told her that i didn't know, She's so cool that i'm sneeking threw the window, everythings better when she's around, can't wait till her parents are out of down, i fell in love with the girl at the rock show... "Come back, Lucie, you don't want to get eaten by the Elves!" Kit shouts after his sister. The combination of too many berries and and too much beer earlier has made Kit very drunk. He falls over a root, sits down and starts singing Bohemian Rhapsody again, completely off key.

A golden-haired Elven-Lady walks smiling into the clearing.

*smiles enjoying the moment of peace and calm*

Starts to sing again.
"Wow, look at you now

Kit covers his ears.
"That's terrible!" he shouts. Lucie folds her arms, and advances on her brother.
"What did you say?" she asks, in a deadly voice. Kit sticks out his tongue and blows a raspberry. Lucie shrugs, and pushes Kit into a stream at the edge of the clearing.

[Tarien]

The Lady's voice filters back again.
"Glory, nan tar-edhel. Morniae nie. "
She returns, standing at the edge of the clearing, in only Glory's line of sight, singing a soft, haunting song in her own tounge, indestiguishable from the song of the woods.
She smiles softly at Glory. Suddenly she stops singing.
"You are a Elven maid, even if you are not of the Eldar." :)

[Lucie Baggins]

Sits down on a rock next to the stream and laughs at Kit who is trying to pull himself out.

[Kit Baggins]

"I'll get you for that!" Kit vows. He mamages to half pull himself out of the stream, then he slips. Kit grabs his sister's sleeve, pulling Lucie in as well.

[Lucie Baggins]

Surfaces from the water with pond weed in her mouth and leaves in her hair. She scoops up some mud from the bottom of the stream and happily wipes it on Kits face.

[Kit Baggins]

Kit splutters in surprised indignation. He wipes his face on his sleeve.
"I will get you for that!" he shouts. He picks up a handful of mud, and rams it down the back of Lucie's neck.

Lucie screams and pushes Kit back into the ater then climbs out of the stream and runs off before he can get out.

*glory yells* "hey you two! it is time to eat...":) *as soon as they heard her kit and lucie are in front of her almost scaring her*

[Kit Baggins]

"Food?" Kit asks. "Why didn't you tell us?!" He pushes Lucie out of the way.

[Glory]

"I'm telling you right now, Don't I?" *Glory smiles whiles she grabs a bag of food*

[Tarien]

"Hobbits are always hungry. Always.

[Kit Baggins]

"You say that like it's a bad thing!" Kit says, grabbing some food.

[Glory]

*she gives some lembas to Tarien* "I brought some elvish food I thought I might find some elves here" *grabs a sandwich and looks at kit* "well the hobbits ...they are not really good at diets! hehehe" *laughts* :)

[Tarien]

"Thank you." Tarien says. "And I agree. An adventure might help, though."

[Glory]

"yeah" *she looks to the sky* "an adventure...any ideas?"

[Tarien]

"Not really. But..." Tarien is cut off.
"Lady Tarien!" a page cries. "This is from Gondor." The page hands Tarien the scroll.
"What could this be" she muses. Suddenly her face grows graver. "Glory" she says. "An adventure just found us."

[Glory]

*she looks to Tarien and says* "what it is?" *then she turns to Lucie and Kit* "I hope that you two come with us!" :)

[Tarien]

"The Steward is being held captive, and perhaps is already dead, inside his own hall. The king is away, thank goodness. But the steward is a good man, and non-warlike, so I hate to think of him held there." Tarien states. "And I wonder how anything got in there that wasn't supposed to be. Which either means that it is, or got help from someone who is."

[Glory]

"well then we mjust leave now an adventure is calling us!"

[Kit Baggins]

"Can I come?" Kit asks. "I haven't had an adventure for ages!"

[Glory]

*smiles* "I think you can come! of course if Tarien agreeds with me"

[Aredhel]

"May I come also?", she asks politely.

[Glory]

"well Aredhel, it all depends on Tarien opinion but I think you can come"

[Tarien]

"We need all the help we can get! Travel light and follow quickly!" Tarien commands and sets off. Glory grabs her sleve.
"Who put you in command? And if you think hobbits and a human can keep up with a couple of Elves, both in quite a hurry, you've lost it! And rushing foreward won't accomplish anything!" she scolds. Tarien's temper drops.
"I'm concerned about my friend, but you are right." she says. A smile tweaks her mouth. "So pack, and we'll be off."

[Glory]

*Aredhel is not a hobbit...and I am a very fast human so you shouldn't be delayed by us ...I think Kit can be pretty fast too"

[Tarien]

"I said two Elves. Unless I forgot someone else." Tarien replies. "And what I meant by fast was more tireless. Elves, alone of all races, may travel swiftly and without pause. While you may be able to keep that pace, you would have to rest and eat." She sighs "But whoever we have must travel quickly, but only as swift as the slowest may go."

[Glory]

"well is it everyone ready?" *she looks at the others*

[Lucie Baggins]

"Don't leave me please don't I haven't been on an adventure for ages!", Lucie shouts after them.

[Tarien]

"Horses or cats, take your pick! Legs are far too slow." Tarien says. "Tai!" A wonderous cat bounds up. "Let's ride."

[Glory]

"I can ride in Matt and anyone can ride Freya too"

[Glory]

*smiles to Lucie* "I guess you can go you can ride Freya she is quite friendly"

[Tarien]

"Noro lim" Tarien cries to the wind. Tai bounds about the camp in eager anticipation.

[Glory]

"this is going to be a long trip"

[Tarien]

'Let us go!' Tarien replies. 'We ride to a city, not a battlefield. Take your weapons and whatever supplies you need. The lower circles have not fallen, but they soon will if we do not hurry.'

'You think we will be more use than the city guard?' Glory asks.
'They are untrained.' Tarien replies. 'We ride!'

[Glory]

Lucie shouts after Glory "What am I going to do with Freya because I'm riding my own horse?"
