This is a new guild and I am currently looking for members.
Firstly I will state this Guilds aims.
1 ; To defend and protect all states and peoples against evil
2 ;To form alliances with all good peoples and to aid them against
the dark forces
3 ; The guild is to be made up of of all races who protect against evil.

I am currently looking for Leaders in this guild
every member becomes a Mithril Knight however i want to have a council of senior members about 10 who shall be the brotherhood of Mithril Knights (made up of women and men) who shall instruct our force of Mithril Knights

This is indeed an interesting idea. First I suggest you get permission, or you could be an orginization outside the guild system(kinda like the heliomancers) but then you would have to make it secret. I am very interested keep me informed.

well, If you are going to regester it depends upon which Archguild you would fall under. You may be allowed into the white council, regardless of the fact of your lack of magic, on the basis that you both supposedly stand for the same thing. I do not suggest that you join the guild of Combat, for that would put you under Ciryaher.

Now, listen. I had thought that the Mithril Knights were a brotherhood of sorts. You have no 'commander', but you are a force of the white council. Mithrandir, being head of the white council, is responsible for this guild. Accept it or do not, but that is the way it is and the way it shall be.

Indeed. Very interesting my friends. I would be very happy to take the position of second in command. But there is one thing I am worried about. The reason I took control of the Mithril Knights was because the leader up and disappeared. This can not happen and seeing as the White Council needs this force, it was my duty to take command. Here it is then, I will take the second in command, or High Guardian, only if the leader promises to not disappear again. Otherwise I will be forced to take control of the Mithril Knights, and if need be by show of force. Thank You.

I hold no agression to you. The fact is this forum is heading into a war. One the forum has never seen the likes of, and the White Council is in dire need of the Mithril Knights. We are also in dire need of active members of the council.

If this quota can not be fullfilled by you as a leader of the Mithril Knights, than we will be forced to take them, by any means neccesary. I am sorry if this is by force.

I hope that it will lead to nothing, and that you will be a grand leader. I merely need your word, and all is done. This does not mean you can't be gone. But if you do leave, notify us. Thank You.

There is no time for recruitment now. The war begins my friends, the war we have all been forewarned of.

The White Council fully and completely sides with the Lords Ciryaher, Valar, Elessar, and Eomer, and in fact I shall be a commander in the war. Therefore the Mithril Knights side with us.

Gather your troops, and be prepared, I have a legion of Mithril Knights with me and will be directly in one of the two battles. I will let you know which one when the time comes. If you are confused, than I suggest you go and read the Celebration of the West thread, really only the first and last page, and things should be cleared up. Thank you.

Like I have said, you should go read up on it. There are numerous battles already sprouted up, and the Celebration of he West explains a lot. In short it is the West vs the East. Lord Dengen and all aliances that take his side are the enemy.

The Mitril Knights will for the most part be under the control of me, Whiterider if he chooses to fight, and any member of the White Council. This war is the most important war to ever hit this forum, and if the White Council does not gain it's aid from the Mithril Knights than we will be left alone. I urge you all to ready yourselves.

Legolas_Lover you were asking about the war ,well it is in ithe serious roleplay forum and there are actually two fronts in the war some of us went east while others went west on our attack on Mordor.But the war is stopped at the moment ,the thread is closed and I dont know if it will start again soon.But as for fighting in a role play thats easy just use your imagination ,just go and read a few rps already in progress and you will soon get the hang of it

A great idea just struck me ,how about we run a battle arena of our our where our members can practice single combat with each other.
Somebody can judge the fight and the two combatants can fight making alternat moves with each post .

Here are just some basic rules i have came up with
No one can just kill (not death but defeat ,you know what I mean :p ) another apponent immediately.It all depends on the quality of each move , the judge will decide how fatal or damaging ,also taking the defensive technique into consideration
Also no defensive move can totally stop an attack but may only take some of the power out of it
We could work where you get maybe 100% life starting off and each move takes off a certain % of that health.
these are just basic rules we will fine tune this idea here so give me your ideas

Well, I must say that your idea of a battle arena sounds awesome. Oh and I read that you had a RP at Once. You said It got out of hand. I was thinking that what you could do was instead of having just one storyline you could have many. You could have several intertwining storys that could be linked at anytime. And when two of the storys come together the two threads could interact with the other. And each thread would have a stiryteller that would keep the story going in th right direction. This is just an Idea though. I really don't think it'll work. or that it will be able to be organized. Anyways thanks for the welcome. :D

just to finalise the rules about the battle arena .
the challenger always has first move.
other knight then has the choice of defending himself or herself or countering the move
if you choose to defend you greatly reduce the about of injury caused
but you give the other person a chance top prepare themselves for your attack ,meaning that they now also have the choice of defending or attacking
However if you decide to counter an attack ,you greatly increas your chances or being injured yet the other person gets no free time to prepare themselves and so is forced to counter your move ,greatly increasing you chances of inflicting damage.
So what you do in the arena is up to you .But the judge will decide
how much damage is caused ,taking the quality of the attack and the defence into account.

Every knight starts off with 100% health
you lose your health depending on the amount of damage caused
eg a direct hit ,caused by a good attack and a poor defence or counter
could reduce your health by up to 25%

Also the more health you lose the less effective your defence or attacks are and the more easily you are damaged
so I am off to open the arena all come and we will get a few battles under way

AYE you guys it is confusing, but you can't pick up on something while watching it once. I had to watch it for a week before I started to get it. But it really is more then just shooting "lightning" fromt here hands. It's very intese, and has won best cartoon a few times. You should check it out some time, and watch it more then once. Oh and don't get dragonball, and dragonball z confused. they are two different shows. One has Goku as the main charcter as a child, while in DBZ he is grown up! WOO HOO for DBZ!!

About the Avatars: I think all you need is a picture. Once you've got that, go to your User CP, then to Edit Options. Scroll down to the place where it says "Avatars". Click "Change Avatar" and then either get the pic. file off your computer or fill in the URL. Then click "Submit Modifications" and you should be set! Hope this helps!

I think that Azog has an Avatar shop somewhere. Also, people make Avs. for other people - Pippin/Frodo made mine.
