I see no problem in contacting each other. What about our own little thread. A kind of story-teling thread (telling our adventures), a teaching thread (if you know dangerous region where a woman shouldn`t go alone in the dark) or a chat-thread for, well... chatting.

Of course we wanderers have a background, a place we come from, where we grew up and where perhaps we still have parents and friends. But we spend our time travelling through the known and unknown parts of Middle Earth.

As a group we have a few rules,that need to be spoken:

good friend it is quite impossible to step on my toes:rolleyes: first of all any quest needs a goal, we could go looking for some kind of magic pieces that enable the wearer to do something as well as contacting and linking us to eachother. they could be south past harad somewhere what do you think ?

How about the stones of the purple fire???? they could be about 12 or so stones that give the wearer to do different things. for instence, one could give the power to talk to the animals, another could have the power to change shape, another could give the power to listen to any needed conversation in all of middle earth, another could give the power to travile from one spot to another with only a thought........

Lets just say that these stones are hidden, some are found but some strill lie in there original spots waiting to be found....

You as our leader are leading us in a semmingly never ending search for the stones, and when we find one, it is decieded who will recieve it. one person can only have one stone, so that it is more equal, and they recievee the stone that best suits them.

If we find that we need more then 15 stones, then we can come up with something then!

As our leader you get the first stone and you can deciedde what it should be!!

I think that theywere orriginally creatd by the gods, and when the gods vanished, they were left bhind for the beings that knew about them to gather and unite agaain.

And so it was that the gods were slowly forgotten and the stones to until one day when a wanderer ran into some old scripts that talked of the stones, she became the leader of the wanderers and led them into the perils of finding and uniting the 15 stones...... That is how the stones were left behind.

in the first age a group of wanderers all had drems of magic purple stones.they all followed the dreamsand ended in a huge caveren with the stones piled in the center. they each picked up a stone and the moment they touched it saw the power that person most desired and from then on enabled the wearer to have that power. when the wanderers died the stones remained at the place of their death till another should come

Wow, a lot has changed since I last peeped in here! Great what youinvented! The plot with the 15 stones is really something we could take further on. But I like the thing with the tones having taken over the desires of the men and then having been left in the places where the guys died.

But, start it as you will.
My "character" is presently at the Burning-Eyed-something-Dragon-Inn, but I will leave ins ome minutes and go back to Silmataurea to the Inn I have planned there. I herewith invite you all, to come there and start the RPG there. I think I will join the "fellowship of the stones". And what better place could there be to start a mission, quest, thing than a newly built inn with new beds to try out and great beer! See ya...

What about that:

The gods made the stones in order to help all the beings on Arda. But when men and elves and all creatures accused the gods of treachery they left them to themselves and left the stones behind. These at first didn`t have any special powers, but were made to take on the powers to do whatever the first man/elf/whatever that touched them desired the most. This happened when the group of wanderers htat had dreamt of the stones found them. But they didn`t know that these stones had marvellous powers because they didn`t know of the gods. Their group broke and the 15 wanderers left the cavern where they had found the stones and went back home. In the cavern they had left a list with their names on them.

This list, together with other lost papers was found centuries later by a curious wanderer who then called for other wanderers to rise and meet and start a quest for the stones so these could be put together again and the gods return.

we started out with our rpg and this thread so well and enthusiastically. what happened?? ya, at first the # of posts was out of control, but at least people were into it. c'mon....lets be a real "guild" of wanders...and communicate.

Mrs baggns...this is the wanderers thing. we dont really have a "home" we wander around. you join by asking (just post it on the thread.) and then either Lilly or Phoenix will say if you are in. then, i, the welcome wagon, will officially welcome you. and you can join our RPG too, the Everquest of the Wanderers. it has more about a stone in its name, too, but i dont remember it.

Well, we have the frst stone, engma has turned out to be geminii and wedded to korhal and she is some kind of demon when she is fighting. Korhall is also able to throw firebolts and I have friends among the orcs. I think that's almost all I've got to tell. Except that we miss you and the rest of our party.
I think Goldberry, geminii, korhall and me will make the story go on, but I'm afraid some time or other we won't have any ideas left as to how go on.

its a shiny little gold ring and one day i accidentally dropped it in a fire and it GREW and there were all these little scratches on it but they went away in a minute and then this old guy with a beard magically appered and told me i had to go to a house in a valley so i went and they told me to throw it in a valcano in mongolia or somewhere and i said i would love to vist mongolia and they looked at me like i was crazy so we went through a cave and the old guy tripped and lost his hat and and we were attacked by a whole clan of annoying little brothers they wanted to fight but theres only one one way to get rid of little brothers so i bellowed MOM joey wont leave me alone and they ran away after that the old man wanted to go one way and we wanted to go the other way so he left but they told the lady in the dress that he fell in a big hole while attacking a large little brother then we went in boats until the river split and we went ashore and that dude tryed to take the ring from me and i told him he wasnt going to get anithing for it in the gondor pawn shop he got really mad and threw a horn at me i thought that a few hours with the little brothers would help him see what a jerk he was being so a yelled free food and sure enough there were brothers everywhere so i went down to the bus stop and one pulled up it was driven by this little green fellow i told him to mongolia and he said yess my preciousss so i went to mongolia got off the bus went up to the gates and knocked there were nine guys there on a lunch break and one let me in so now im playing tick tack toe with sauron in the tower of bread & er
