It hasn't been mentioned where I've looked.
Though I do hope she sings for the next two movies

I hope she does too. I think she was the perfect fit to sing for the FoTR. She doesn't have that dominating "opera" voice like a lot of singers. It's so melodic. I have her Day Without Ray CD and it is so soothing and peaceful. Her voice is very close to how I had imagined the Hobbit and LoTR songs to sound when I was reading them.

I don't know what it is about songs but they always seem to make me relaxed and sleepy! I love her music!!

Yes, she has a nice voice.
For some reason, whenever I hear "Who's got my Back now" off Creed's new CD, Weathered, it reminds me of LOTR...

I think that the performances of Creed are very distinguishable, the voice, the rhythm...hmmm...
I haven't heard that song, but...does it remind you LOTR for the lyrics or due to the rhythm, the cadence of sounds?

Everything about it reminds me of LOTR.. it's kind of a sad sounding song. It sounds like it'd go good for Frodo and Sam's journey in Mordor. If you have KaZaA or something, I recommend it.
I found the words...
"Run, hide
All that was sacred to us
Sacred to us
See the signs
The covenant
Has been broken
By mankind
Leaving us with no shoulder
With no shoulder
To rest our head on
To rest our head on
To rest our head on
Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
So what is the truth now?
There's still time
All that has been devastated
Can be recreated
Realize
We pick up the broken pieces
Of our lives
Giving ourselves to each other
Ourselves to each other
To rest our head on
To rest our head on
To rest our head on
[REFRAIN twice]"
I think that sounds pretty good

Yes...they're great.
Where did you find the lyrics?
Let me guess...in the cover of your CD?
Some ideas and feelings come to my mind by reading it:
Change.
Strength.
Courage.
Redemption.
Hope.
The inherent choices inside of ourselves...
I understand your point, ANB...

I might like it much better if I didn't hear it every time I change the channel. Seems like everyone's using it. They play it about 6 times in the movie "Sweet November"

Creed are pretty religious without actually saying it outright in their songs, so I guess they're kinda like the metal version of JRR (sort of, you can see where I'm coming from on this. No? Ah well ..) :)

Yeah, they never actually say it but the implications are so flippin' obvious.
