A young wolf enters the library, heavily breathing, and whispers into the great wolf's ear. Korhall who stands near them then cries out: "The orcs have crossed the river and raided a village? My friend, we will go there and give them a lesson in friendliness!"

The meade nods. "Yes, this has changed everything. They have broken the ceasefire. They will pay for it. I will send some of my wolves with you. Korhall to you I give command over them. Gemini, you will look that Nain behaves well. Hirila... try to keep gemini and korhall from killing Nain if it isn't absolutely necessary. Nain: You will behave yourself and help the group. And no more claiming of stones."
With this he rushes out to get things prepared for their departure.

The groups stays in the library, looking at each other.

i was going to say that i'm now a pureblood either. my dad was a human, my mom wa an elf. i take after my mom mental but my dad physically. i'm smart like an elf but tough as a human. i also try to be more elvish than human on most things. their outlook is more appealing

quite a bit from the looks of this map. but then you have always been smart and beautiful. this is probably more accurate than the map i had when i tried to go across the deserta millenia ago.

So the party, now in company of Warendill and some wolves, leaves the library and joins Chrys, who is getting impatient. They shoulder their bags, weapons and sticks and with a loud and cheering farewell and many a look back they leave the grounds that belong to the library, heading for the desert where thay hope to find orcs and at least one stone. Not to forget revenge for the ravaged village and all the people slain there.

anyway with chrys scouting ahead the party follows pheonix's map and progresses a great distance into the wilderness.

warrendill senses a slight movement on Kors sholder and faster than a flash of lightening c0cks back her bow and let loose the shaft. It grazes his sholder. In an instant warrendill notices it was only a spider the size of a golden coin (in middle earth) and appologises.
Tthe ironic thing is the arrow is lodged in Kors shirt of mithrill.

Chrys has found nothing of interest while on patrol and decides to fly back and re-join the others. Setting down near Hirila, she spies a new member in the group and walks over to sniff the new person.

"Shshshsh, Lilly, wait a minute before you go and arrange a party for Chrys. Gemini, what is the matter? You feel these other people somewhere in front? I just sensed them, too. But I don't think they are dangerous, do you? There is grief in them, sorrow, fear and pain. And anger. I would say it is a group survivors from the attack.
Kor: Why don't you send one of the wolves to spy out who or what they are.
No offense Chrys, but you simply are too big and would surely scare them to death if they saw you. The wolf at least can hide behind bushes."

Chrys trots over to Lilly nad snuffles her all over, then put her ears down for a scratching. "Lilly! It's good to see you once again with us. If you promise to calm down a bit, I'll let you ride for awhile."

"yes i have sensed them but there is something else" turns to kor and the meade "is there a old battle feild arrond here or something?"

Nain just follwed the group listening and waiting for orders.

Soon after the wolf departed it was hurled over trees and landed right by the group. Nain ran up to it and saw it had a small knife stuck in it's windpipe. Nain said "Well, whatever it is, it isn't nice." Then Nain turned to the wolf and said "You will thank me for this." Nain said something and put his hand on the wolf. Suddenly it sprang back to life. It started howling in pain and Nain quickly took out the knife calming him. 'So what next?' From then on that wolf loved Nain.

"well i for one am not gonna stand here like a layabout. im going to see what that thing is."

Warrendill steps up and says she'll go w/ Gemini and they depart

"Aaahhh, guys, why don't we follow the two and look if we can be of help? Seems there is trouble ahead. Personally I don't want to loose my companions in this place. - Hirila looks at the dark trees, the whole unfriendly appearance of the place - This is not the place for humourous evenings or a decent burial. Anyhow, let's not make it one. At least not for us."
With this Hirila follows Gemini and Warendill. Following a wooden sound as if someone ran against a branch the last they hear is: "Oh, d... it! I hate these trees, I hate this wood, I hate having to run after my friends, they could have waited for us, now we sure'll have to fight again, what about some kind of strategy, a nice plan, we could have..." The words die away.

geminii walked threw the trees the the sense of death and malice increased with evry step she walked up to a clearing there were people but not of any kind she had seen they screamed and shouted they then it struck her nalcaa they were nalcaa but the nalcaa were not supposed to exist anymore she slid loose a small bow with a poisoned arrow and shot the twang of the bow got there attetion and instantly they returned fire one hit her she yanked it out and notched it to her bow "oh winds let this unholy shaft fly true" and with that she released it a scream went up shed hit something she stumbled back to the group they couldnt face the nalcaa not here not now she sees warendill shooting off arrows at a greater speed than she could have imagined and hilra runing threw the woods

walks over to chrys and starts to absently scratch behind her ears, dwelling on what kind of party to have and if the up comming cofrontation would set her plans back a bit.

the curse on the nalcaas shaft moved over her like a shadow as she stumbled out to the group "nalcaas! we must get out somewhere near an orc hole methinks would be best"

Lilly stops pondering on the party when she hears that they should go looking for as orc hole, this worries her to no end!!!!! and she looks at her fellow wanderer with and worry.

"yes orc hole the nalcaa hate everything the orc methinks will keep them busy. always use the enemy against themselves lily" she breathed and crumpled to her knees

yes I agree with using the emeny against the enemy but come on?!?!?! going INTO the orc hole that is rediculus!!!

even theough she protested the act lilly helped pick up her friend and take her twords the hole, still not liking the idea but with no experiance with this enemy she took the advise.

meanwhile Warrendill was hopelesly shooting arrows and noticed the nalcaa kept coming & coming and finally she ran out of arrows and noticed gemini was gone and retreeted(sp?) to find her

once Warrendill got back 2 the clearing where the group was it was empty. she called out and no answer the walked a little further and heard some noise in the brush. she reached for an arrow but noticed they were all used back fighting the nalcaa so she reached for her dagger and crept up to the bush an saw an orc hole but the sounds comming out of it weren't that of orcs. dagger ready she aproached the hole..........................

so it takes your strengh, I shall go and try to find some athles, i hope that it will owrk.

in the middle of gettitng up she hears a faint call and heads in that direction.

Warrendill slowly and cautiosly wanders into the orc hole

she starts to yell and sees that warrendill is safly in the orc hole and then discovers that she has found the athlas so she goes into the hole and greets warrendill with great enthusiam and then sets to work boiling some water.

Warrendill is startled by the yelling & and swing around trying 2 determine where its coming from and during all this is careles w/the dagger and hits the wall wich starts a bit of a cave in but luckily iit was only a small one
she finally figures out it was lilly who yelled and walks carefully through the cave in tward the voice

korhall appears at the mouth of the orc hole and walks in. seeing his wife in her damaged state he rushes to her side and looks her over. he them asks "what happened to her?" after being brought up to speed he thinks and then puts his hand on geminii's brow and goes into a light meditative trance. after a few minutes he wakes and is very troubled. then lilly (hope you don't mind being called that) asks him what he was doing. he responds " i have been married to this woman for a long time. i know the way her aura feels. just now i was examining her aura closer than i normally do in an attempt to discover that second thing that the curse was taking from her. if i'm correct it is taking her power to change. she is losing her shiftablilty ( new word for you all) i don't know how to fix this. she is in deep trouble. this curse can be fought two ways as i see it. first we can fight it here with herbal remedies but without knowing the second part of the cure we can only keep her alive her powers will be gone. the second way is to find whoever did this and kill them then the curse should be lifted. for the greatest chance of success i recomend both options. you stay here and keep her going, nain and i will go and take care of the wizard or whatever that has cursed the arrow that hit her. i guess that we will then have to convince him or her for that matter to break the spell, or we will do it for them. i'm taking nain because together i'm certain that we can overcome any kind of magic brought to bear on us. chrys" he calls "i need you to fly overhead and do some scouting for us. see what you can determine about our foe from flying over their villiage, be quiet and stealthy about it. don't spook them and what ever you do don't get into a firefight (no pun intended). i don't want to think about what they would do to you if you were hit. i already have my love to save i don't need a friend to save too. nain prepair yourself and your magic, we go when chrys returns.

"Sorry! I'm here! I was off dispatching orcs and such!"

Nain pulls out his double sided axe in his right hand and a smaller on sided throwing axe in his left. He takes a few waves with his big axe and throws the small one at targets on the wall to be ready. Next to make sure his powers were ready he reincarnated a small bunny rabbit which hopped away. Nain grabeed both his axes again and told Korhal he was ready.

i would go with ya'll but my arrows are spent and my dagger probbably won't do a thing but i will warn you those creatures are nalcaa and gemini wasn't hit with any ordinary arrow it was a cursed one and i shot and shot but they kept comming and coming so be cautious and safe and good luck

Hirila stopped running towards Gemini and her companion when she saw the arrow fly. She crouched down behind some bushes and watched the nalcaa rush after Gemini and Lilly. It was a miracle they didn't notice her, she realized, though she didn't know who or what those beings were or that they were called nalcaa.
The beings left their camp unmanned and defenseless. Hirila could still sense the survivors from the raided village and now slowly and cautiously crept towards the place where the men, women and children lay.

At first they were afraid but she managed to make them clear that she was a friend. Hirila gave them water and as much lembas as they needed for their journey to the library. For this was were she sent them to. "The great wolf will help you with everything you need. Just tell him who sent you. And tell him that Korhall and we others are okay, will you?"

Before leaving this horrid place the refugees told her what had happened in their little town: First the orcs had come, burnt everything down, killed most of the inhabitants. Then the nalcaa had come, killed the orcs that were not wise enough to flee and had captured this group of survivors. No, they didn't know where the nalcaa had come from. But they knew it were nalcaa, because legends told so. That there had once been a race known as the nalcaa that hunted orcs, because their king had been betrayed by an orc.
Seems as if legends had come alice!

Then the refugees left Hirila. She put fire on the nalcaas' things and went on searching for her companions in the woods, having her bow ready and her rapier loosend in its sheath. If they were still alive she would find them...

"i should help. i know more about the nalcaa." she said as she dragged herself up till she was standing weapons weighing her down. "the shifters fought with them for years over hunting territory. i know how they fight. what they do."

korhall goes over and sooths his bride. honey, i think that you can tell me what we need to know, you are in no condition to come back into battle. by the way did i read your aura right? i hope to Russ that i was wrong about it. so tell us what you know about these soon to be dead things.

geminii tells kor evrything she knows about the nalcaa and hopes it was enough sill useing the wall for support she struggled over to the cave mouth to see the sky it looked about midnight "they should still be feasting methinks"

Nain asks Korhall "So are we still going to find those.........things or what?" Nain is getting tense and really wants to kill one of those things.

"a little" walks slowly over to the fire and sits down pulls her cloak about her watching the flames

"All I want to know is...can I eat a nalcaa?"

[arisen pheonix]

"im sure you could chrys just dont take too many at a time theyve been known to take down dragons before"

if some one will lend me at least one arrow i wil go and hunt a dear and maybee pick some berries

chrys, nain, lets go i feel in the mood for some bloodshed. quickly conjers a quiver of arrows for woodbloom and procedes off with nain and chrys. korhall's fangs are long and so are his claws. the wolfs are returning to the cave from hunting orcs, they had moderate success. korhall puts them on watch on the cave.

nain and korhall creep up to the edge of the villiage un noticed and see that the nalcaa are preping for some action. they are probably going to look for pheonix and lilly. but their plans are interupted by chrys coming in and " taking their attention away from their preparations". seeing this the two wizardly warriors come in weapons flashing, magic flying and looking like the worst nightmares of middle earth given form and severly ****ed off.

sits in the mouth of cavewatching people go in and out feeling very tired but determined to be of some use she got to her feet and went to get some fire wood upon returning with a bundle she sat down watching the darkness sharpening and oiling her sword waiting for anything

Heads Nain saw. Most were on the ground after he had hewed them, but still they remained. He had lost his throwing axe early in the battle. Next he made a sign with his hand and two if the dead things cam alive and he woul make them kill others. Then he decyaed the skin from the creatures with a black mist. Now Nain continued with the hewing of body parts almost blind with anger.

the nalcaa are decent fighters and are giving korhall and nain quite a work out but they are begining to falter what with a large, hungry, mad, protective, fierce and destructive dragon who's only wish is for some ketchup.

korhall fights hard and soon a red mist covers his vision, the berzerkergang is on him in full. it suddenly seems as if his enemies are moving painfully slow, not wanting to lose the oppertunity korhall attacks with the power of a hurricane and soon there is a huge gaping hole in the villiage where no living nalcaa have been left. then slowly coming back to his senses he looks around and sees a hut that looks like it might be the hut of the local wizard/shaman/warlock/whatever.

Suffice it to say that Chrys accounted for 9/10's of the nalcaa population on this day, even without ketchup!

geminii sees something coming toward the cave she pulled her self up slowly with the honed sword in hand peeering out at it

nain, come on its time to see this guy, heck he may be the one with a stone that we saw around here!

she called out for whoever it was to stop and make themselves known no answer she walked out towards it a few paces she could sense it stalking around out in the shadows

the wolfs ears perked up. they heard it to. they got on either side of phoenix and waited

babi is the equivalent of a shifter dog they can change size but not shape and can be very vicious

Nain goes into the hut with Korhall and find a man fondelling a stone and chanting a spell. Nain yells "You! Stop the spell, we know who it's on and give us the stone or we will be forced to kill you. The man replied "Like a dwarf and a mere man can harm me." Nain snapped his finger and the hut was knocked away by the powerful tail of Magnus. "How about now?" Nain asked.

i think he might be a Nalcaa but there seems to be 2 sources of power one quite a bit bigger than the other

The man fearfully undoes the spell healing gemini, but the stone he tosses to a man who was in the shadow but is now seen. He is tall and very errie looking then he points at the hut and throws at Nain and Korhall and they barely dodge it. "Guess we know what that stone does. Lets get him." Nain and Korhall charge catiously.

i'll take stone boy you get the other guy!

korhall summons a flaming sword and charges in ducking and chopping the many objects flying at him. he takes a few bumps and cuts but eventually he disarms the man of the stone and challenges him to a duel. then the man seeing no other option summons a sword of dark energy and the two go at it. the battle is fierce and furyious the end being korhall taking a very serious wound in the chest but the mysterious man having a huge hole from a firey backstroke in his head. korhall then manages to get the stone and send it to pheonix before he passes out from blood loss.

upon getting stone tells babi to go out and help babi shifts up till he is very large and very vicious looking and goes to help nain and kor

Nain took out his huge axe and charged the man. Right before he was about to slice him the man took out a poison tip sword and swung it. Nain jumped back barely missing it. This man Nain new was a sorcerer. Nain and the man dueled in a long battle until the man was soon weak. He jumped out of the way of Nain and waved his hand in an odd motion, but it looked familiar to Nain. Up he raised 2 of those creature things from earlier. Nain gasped, he was a Necromancer.

Nain fought all three at once get many scraps and cuts, but mainly dodging that posion tip sword. Soon Nain got a break and jumped away from the group attacking. He made a motion and an old troll appeared. It quickly whacked the two ommbies killing them then turned to the Necromancer. The troll swung at right when he was about to his the man it crumpled to pieces.

Nain said "Your mine." The man was in a horrible rage. "Here let me make it easier for you, I wont use my axe." Nain threw the axe nearby into the ground. The man now could barely contain himself. He charged at Nain his blade drawn. The man was in 15 feet when Nain lifted his hand and shot a shadow at the man. Many heard the horrible scream of the man as his soul and powers were taken from him and given to Nain. A sudden new urge of power came over him and he smiled. Then he went off to see how Korhall had done.

warrendill thanked kor and was off for her hunt
about an hour from her departure Warrendill returned w/3 large rabbits and a small dear
she sets her catch next 2 the fire and goes to sit down, because while she was out she began 2 feel a bit drowsy she figured it was because of not sleeping for 10 days but that was quite unusual for she coul go for 15 days w/out sleep

What a bore wandering through a wood. not knowing your way, obviously being lost in the middle of nowhere! D*** it!

Wait! There were faint sounds of fighting ahead! Cautiously Hirila crept near. It was the village, filled with nalcaa and Korhall and Nain fighting them. The fight must had been going on for wuite a while. The ground was thickly covered with blood and dead nalcaa. Then Korhall and Nain went into some sort of tent. Voices came out, but Hirila didn't understand them. But she understood, what the nalcaa behind her did say, though she didn't know the words. His sword was rather convincing and she went with him into the village.
But one thing he hadn't calculated in, the huge dog that rushed up from the shadows and jumped into him. Within the next second Hirila had drawn her rapier and killed the nalcaa. Turning to the dog she saw it shifting size till it was the height of a big shepherd's dog. She stroke over his soft fur.

A sudden, terrible scream from the tent made her look up and the dog growl. Nain came out of the tent, a stone gleaming in his belt, in his arms he had Korhall, unconscious from too much blood loss.
He laid Kor down onto the ground, hold his hand over him, trying to heal, but healing wasn't his strongest gift and he also was a bit exhausted after the fight in the tent.
"Let me do this" Hirila said stepping to him. Then she kneeled down, hold out her hands over Kor's breast and head, closed her eyes and concentrated hard. Kor moaned and screamed for pain.
"What are you doing?" Nain asked and wanted to push her away.
"Let me do this, I know more of healing than you do, methinks, and accelerating the natural healing process is no simple matter, it hurts a bit, and it hurts more if you are as seriously wounded as Kor." She concentrated again while Kor got quieter and then simply changed into sleep.
Hirila sweated from the effort. "His wounds are closed, the internal as well as the external. He will sleep now for a while. He has lost a lot of blood. This he must regain now. Hope he is not too much disappeared of having lost a fight. It would slow down the healing process. Better someone make him clear when he wakes up that it was an opponent too mighty for one of you alone.
I guess you killed him, Nain, did you? After Kor had wounded him severly, I could sense something like this in his aura."

Nain and Hirila then carried Kor back to the cave, the dog running in front of them announcing them with loud barking.

Nain said to Hirila as they walked back "Yes I did kill the man, but he got the first attack, Korhall here gave him a huge sword stroke to the back of it's head, had I been as badly hurt as Korhall in my first battle we would have both been dead." Nain stayed silent the rest of the way back to camp in deep thought.

Warrendill make ready for sleep by getting out 5 of her blankets and speads one out
as she is doing this she sees nain and hirilia carying in kor and helps the lay him on the blanket and tiredly asked what went on

"what happened" she said as she rushed over to kor with babi following her hilira and nain tell her the story she muttered something obsene about the nalcaa sitting next to kor waiting for him to wake up again

Nain told the story to all the gave Gemini the stone and soon after begged for some rest. This he was granted and easily fell asleep in the darkness of the hole.

geminii sat watching the fire babi held out a tin cup wich she filled with ale for the sixth time she could feel her strength coming back slowly but surely she waited watching the hours role by taking the watch over from lily

Warrendill couldn't sleep so she sat up and noticed gemini was in a trance and the others were assleep so she went out for awalk and upon hereing a very familiar bird (known as a rivernor witch sings its pray to sleep and itself falls asleep for 12 hrs before carying its prey of to the river and drowns them before eating them) falls to the ground in a deep sleep (in wich she cannot be revived for13 hrs)

i didn't lose. i killed him after he wounded me FYI. i killed him dead but he almost got me.

korhall was out cold but in his time of healing he had fever dreams. he saw three options for the groupe one went to huge wars that brought the end of middle earth for the land was ravaged by war for the rest of time. the second path went into the swirling depths of the swirling mists of chance. the third path was leading to the unification of all of the races in middle earth.

in the middle of the dreams when it seemed that there was no hope and that korhall was losing the grips on his body he suddenly felt the closeness of the one thing that could help him. the unconditional love of a spouse or loved ones

Then you can put it away and pull it out to do the same to get visible again.

An do now: We should go and look for Warendill, or has anyone seen her? Ifeel rested enough, but I didn't have to fight. Kor, Gemini do you feel allright?"

"sure i can send babi" picks up what is at the moment a black ball of fluff clutching a tin cup takes him outside and begins talking to him in another langauge caomes back in the cave a few minutes later "babi is looking for her he will bring her back when he finds her. so should we continue or wait here?"

"I say we wait and figure out that stone. Here let me see it." Nain asked and was given the new stone. Nain thought of moving a rock, but nothing happened. He tried again oly this time he thought of the rock and where he wanted it to go and that did it. Nain gleefully told the others "The way to master it is to think of what you want to move and where you want it to go."

"hold on let me see that a minute" she said nain handed her the stone she thought of a rock and then she thought of it going to hilira upon seeing the result she said "you know we could use this to find warendil"

They all sat down and ate of what was left from the day before, waiting for babi to come back and bring news of Warendill.

"hello warendill are you all right... oh no" from behind her babi growls at the cat

korhall walks out with a stone in hand and says, well at least we know it works he said looking at the stone. upon seeing the situation with the very large house pets he decides that a quick conversation with the two is needed. he walks away with them and a few moments later there can be heard the sounds of babi barking and the cat meyowing and a third voice of neither species. then he korhall walks back out and says that the two have patched up their differences and are now friends.

upon this statement there is a puzzeled look on the faces of the groupe and then th question is asked how do you know that? what just happened? what were those noises?

to answer these questions you must first understand that the language of most preditors are basically the same with different noises meaning the same thing. a long howl fora dog means basically the same thing as a long meyow for a cat. (rough example) but working on this premaceand with his knowledge of wolf speak which is basically the same as dogish he was able to strike up a conversation with the two and then be an intermediary to help the two work out their problems.

IC: now that we have gotten the stone there are still those orcs to deal with if i recall or am i mistaken? there are probably still a sizable force left around here judging from the age of this hole.

apparently i am to keep the stone. but we need to either go to pheonix's friend's place or return to the library. we need supplies and time to plan our next search.

"I don't know about you but to me time is everything, we need a plan and we need one soon. I say we go back to the library and get a plan for all the stones not keep going back for then by the time we get them all my beard will drag to the floor. What will we do then?"

geminii out of the blue picks up a large rock and smashes it against the wall kor and nain look at her "thats it of all the places for them to put it they would of course leave it there" without stoping for her pack she went out side and began eastward

shouldering her pack as well as his own, he leaves a note that they are heading eastwards and sets off with nain after pheonix.

she passed into the boundries of the ora's ancient hunting lands she continued till she was at the falein stone she closed her eyes and placed her hand on the runes trying to remember their meaning she waited as it unraveled slowly in her mind

warrendill upon reading the note curses at herself for spending so much time with her cat gathers her things and continues on the way the note said 2 go she tracked them for a day and noticed they were not far and she mounted shire rider (bareback because the cat for got her harnes(sp) wich made warrendill even more frusterated)and thewy took of upon reaching the otthers she notieced pheonix didn't look so good and asked about what happened to her she got such a sudden harsh answer ("DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT)" that she began to wonder if things where not right

'Great' Hirila thought when she came back to the cave from hunting a rabbit. It now hung at her side, waiting to be skinned. 'So they have left me. :rolleyes: Well then, let's follow them. And don't forget your things Hirila.'

And she left towards the east until she arrived at the stone only three hours after Warendill.

"Did you really think you could get rid of me? :D :cool: No chance guys, ill weeds grow apace! :D So, what are we doing here? Just waiting for the end of days? I suggest we rest another hour, (I'm rather a bit tired after this hunt after you) cook that lovely rabbit I've got here and then move on. "you should not have come. i am going to finish this once and for all." she looked at kor "whatever happens do not come into the grove" walks into the grove studys the first jar it was black and covered with a barbaric rune for death "this must be the fate of death" she walked to a smooth black stone and sat the pot on it instantly a pain like the fires of the lowest hell came overr her warendil pulled out her baw and shot the pot off the stone shatering the arrow and knocking the unscathed poy to the ground as soon as it hit the ground the pain ceased she got back up and put it on the different stone and continued doing so with the other three the four stones with the jars sank into the ground triggering the trap she ha been standing on she fell down into a cave that was covered mostly by a lake and in the center a rocky island

korhall throws a fire ball onto some twigs. he then sees pheonix fall and yells "NOOOOOOOO" he tries to run into the grove but is stopped by nain who says, you know what she said my friend. that is not a place for our kind. then korhall yells "are you alright?"

what r we to do if we aren't 2 go after her we could throw a rope down 2 her just so long as we stay out of the area

korhall then sits down and meditates, looking for pheonix's aura. he finds it, it is weak and troubled. she is going through a great trial now. but we must not intrefere. if we do we will destroy any effect his will have and probably kill her. her being able to do it herself must not be brought into question here. as much as it pains me, we can't interfere. we can only wait.

she told me not to enter because she knew that it would be my first reaction to her in pain. you must do the same. hope and pray to what ever gods you worship that she will survive. we must be ready for her to return. i gaurontee that she will be wiped. prep a bed for her.

geminii walks to the edge of the underwater lake it was deep and looked to be full of nasty creatures so she shifted into a bat and flew over it to the island she looked down into the water and saw things that made her very glad she hadnt decided to swim when she reached the island she landed and shifted back she walked over the island till she reached the center there was a small pool of black water she recognized it at once and also what it meant she knelt down and placed her hand in the swirling depths and withdrew it quickly a darkness rose from the water it stired and changed till it was... she gasped "but you died i saw you on the grounds in..." her mothers form raised a hand for silence and then as she spoke in a hollow voice "ka la geminii royvli extor" she slowly realized that this was the trial "lia mein xi..." the thing changed and came at her she cried the last thing she would have expeted to remember then she screamed as the creature passed through her soul to get back to its pit

she is alive and contious, sort of. she is in a limbo like state as best as i can tell. but where ever she is she ain't happy.

geminii got up it was a strange feeling she turned into an ice eagle and flew out with the stone she saw them sitting outside the grove she dived down changing back into a human about fifteen feet from the ground and dropped lightly to the ground

korhall comes back to reality and walks over and hugs his wife. i saw part of that. the lake and the shifting but what was that last one. on second thought don't tell me. what have you there?

HHHMMMMMMMMM i gotta cousin around these parts i think. lets go see him. he is a wizard, maybe he knows something...then again he is also married to an orc so things might get violent. my extended family is rather resentful of me. but lets try it out. we move out at dawn.

as they enter town Warrendill tells the others she'll be in the market to get some arrows and for them to send an eagle for instuctions to the cousins house and to take shire rider w/ them he can help carry the heavy stuff... as she was wandering she drifted into a daze thinking about her father (who has now gone 2 the undying lands)and the great times they had together.......when suddenly she feels a blade 2 her neck wich snaps her out of her daze.her arrows and bow have been taken she reaches for her hidden dagger and the unknown person behind her digs the blade a ways into her neck wich cut the top layer of skin letting a little blood trikle down her neck.the burly voice spoke: do u know of the quest for for the stones of purple fire?i know nothing liarim not lying ur coming w/mei am not ...... warrendill twists out of his grasp avoiding the blade & reaches for her dagger and feels an arow 2 her back and knows it's hoples and goes w/the men

warrendill was then led through town to a run down looking shack. they pushed her inside and folowed. the big burly manopened a trap door under a rug in the middle of the floor. they led her down through it to an underground den were several other men imidiately stood and bowed to the burly man then went about their business. she was led down a hall to an area where several door w/tiny windows were lined all in a row. they led her to the 3rddoor and shoved her in the room. it is a small cold dark room. they pushed her in so hard thelf hit her head on the close wall and passed out

after warendil decided to stay in the town the others pressed on and geminii couldnt help but wonder why any one would mary an orc so she finnaly asked

a few hrs later she awoke to find rats all over a plate of revolting looking food wich was apparently ment for her. her eyes had adjusted to the darkness and she saw all around her bones of past prisoners. she went to the small window to see what was outside of her room. accross the hall was an orkish looking creature who had fallen assleep whith abottle of wine in hand, he was aparently the gaurd. the keys were glimmering on the table next to him. warrindill got a good idea. she had a bit of rope and thought if she tied some of the bones together she could reach the keys. the bone pole was stiking out and almost had the keys. all off a sudden a rat cralled up her leg wich caused her to move the pole . they keys fell to the ground and the gaurd awoke and quickly grabbed the pole and smacked Warrendill in the face wch knocked her back. while she lay on the hard floor she heard the cracking of bones then the jingle of keys. her cell was oppened and she was snatched up, cuffed and taken to another room where the same big burly man she saw earlier was drinking whine. he asked again do u know of the quest for the stones of purple fire? warrendill calmly replyed as i have said i know nothing YES U DO do u know Gemini? NO KOR? NO he calmly took a drink of whine and said something in a strange language and warrendill was led awayshe was then uncuffed and told she had one more hour 2 rember what the other man wanted and was put in another room similar but w/nothing in it. she looked at the lock and noticed it was an easy one to pick she took the small knife out of her boot and piked the lock. she wandered through the halls and found no one.

as she was wandering warrendill failed to notice her face wasw bleeding (a blood trail was left) she had been wandering for at least an hour when she noticed the blood. she stopped about to dress the wound when her captors were heard comming around the corner (they had followed the blood) she had just enough time to scurry up the wall into a crevice as they came up under her. they stopped abruptly as the blood ended . the looked up into the darkness and saw nothing. as the others left the leader stayed behind and looked up puzeled. adn because she didn't have enough time 2 dress her wound a drop of blood fell and landed on the mans nose. he shouted in his language at his followers and the returned with speed and began to shoot arrows into the darkness as one began 2 climb. as she climbed higher she found an old key steck in the wall she pulled it out and carried it w/ her. all of a sudden she felt an arrow in her arm and things went black as she fell. she awoke a while later to find herself in the imense heat of the day. she tried to move but it was useless. she had been strapped to a wall ass tall as her and a little wider. she was appaently left to be sun burned and dehidraited. her ring had a small blade on it. if you spoke open in elvish it would release the blade and she broke freeshe wadered around the outside of the building and found her weopns next to a sleeping gaurd. while assleep she slit his throte and took her bow and dagger and went to a streem to cleen up before going to the market. she bought the arrows. she noticed the key in her pocket wich brought her back to her place of captivity she noticed the man had a small box in his arms. she took it and continued to meet up w/her wandering cat wich took her back to the group of travelers.

Some minutes later, in a quiet corner of an inn near the market place, Warendill told her story. Of the man who had asked her about Gemini and Kor. How he had questioned her about what she knew of the quest for the Stones of Purple Fire.
Nipping at her beer Hirila asked Gemini if she knew who this man was. Gemini didn't answer immediately. She seemed to be troubled with thoughts of the past, searching her memory for this man, not being contend with what she found.

The waiter brought lentil stew and hungry as they were they ceased pressing hard on Gemini.

Meal passed in silence. Then they began to discuss: What was to be done now?

warrendill hadn't touched her food she was in deep deep thought. she had seen the men before but where? she was teribly tired and weak. she pulled out the small chest and studied it. then she pulled out the key it was a perfect fit. but the odd thing was it looked nothing like the keyhole. she slowly lifted the lid and looked astonished she lifted the chest (wich useed the last of her strength and she colapsed assleep on the floor)

the contens of the box was a stone of purple fire but wich one every body puzzeled.

warrendill woke and hearing everything said exlpains what the man looked like and answered that there are more than 1 man and kor would need help. and thats what im here for, to help and if you leave me i'll get ****ed and ... and ... adn ... i don't know i'll think of some thing warrendill storms off forgetting the key and box. outside she has tremendous pains all over. all of a sudden a strange cloked figure wallked into the inn she followed a good distance(hurtting all the while)
the figure went in and sat on the opposite side of the room froms the party and faced them warrendill wandered up to the party and warned them . they passed the night here and warrendill couldn't sleep. she got up and saw a strange figure standing over the calm sleeping gemini w/ a raised sword and warrendill sot it before it brought down it sword. it gave a shout wich awoke everyone and warrendill colapsed in pain

in the early hrs of the morning warrendill awoke still hurting. she remembered the late night vistor and went to examine the body. it was one of the men that had held her captive. her thoughts floated back to the leader of this group. she had seen him before but where? then it hit her this man had run her fathers peolple of their land and the were forced to go to the undying lands. he was looking for something a stone perhaps. warrendill was away learning the trade of being great at archery and healing at the time and was left homeles and alone in her late youth. she managed by her self and the image of the man had faded untill now. but how was it related to kor and gemini? she had so many questions and no answers and little time to rescue herself and her friends.

BACK AT THE UNDER GROUND PRISON the leader asked for word of his assasan but everyone was silent "u mean to tell me that kor and gemini aren't dead and the others captured! never send a worm to do a killers job!" he stormed off in a rage

warrendill warns every one of her memories and that they should continue w/ their journy. after warrendill told them everything she suggested that every night she stand guard (until the got far enough frome the city) because of her excelent hearing and sight and geminii agreed and suggested they get a move on outa here. as they were begining to leave kor stopped dead in his tracks and said y run we can fight em. warrendill its not like u to run from a fight. and u eaither geminii. we have to beat them now or they will be on our tail for the rest of our days. suddenly there was an ear splitting horn blow and the innkeeper locked every thing up and went to a secret under ground room. warrendill doubled over in pain. no one noticed. kor looked out to see who was bringing on the battle. warrendill stood and saw that the war was to be brought by the ppl who had conflict w/ her father. she sees they are outnumbred by at least 1000 to 1 and she sends kor and geminii to the underground room. kor and geminii refused but warrendill assured them she had every thing under control. babi, shire rider, geminii and kor submerged as the others went outside to surrender. they were led away

OOC: I'm sorry, guys, but I can't take part of this thread from now until at least the 14th August. I only have the time to come here and read what's going on. ic:geminii is about to go up and get herself killed in a foolish atempt to save the others but is restrained by babi kor and shirerider trips over a loose stone in an atempt to get lose of them sending everyone to the bone strewn floor gets up to go out again with babi clutching her ankle "babi! let me go!!" she said staring at him through the pitch black when he didnt she continued to trudge back to the door with him and ran into kor who she hadnt seen in the dark

Warrendill only let the others get captured b/cause she knew their captors wouldn’t harm them. he was only after warrendill, geminii, and kor. after they were dead he would use the others to find the stones and then dispose of them. warrendill was taken an opposite way than the others who were led to separate cells. the burly man askeddo u know who i am to a certain extent u know who i am u just don't know my name but i know every thing about you warrendill was silent as the pain experienced early returned only greater.my name is koponious if u must know.i have lived for 1000 years and will live for eternity once i get all the stones and u will only be around long enough to reveal to me the hiding place of the 2 lovers u call alies and experiance their deaths. herdoblahgermanupyindo she was knocked ou and dragged away.
