RP 46: Cat Riders RP: Find Some Food!!!

Elgee sympathetically stroked Badger who was moaning in hunger... The recent laws against hunting Oliphants were causing the large cat to starve... No food source had been able to replace the fresh oliphant meat they were so used to... Elgee is going to go hunting...

Tarien walks up to Elgee, travelling on her own feet, not riding Tai after her custom.
'Tai is starving. We have to get food for our cats! Without Oliphaunts, where can we go?' She asks Elgee.

A deep grumble shakes the ground where Elgee and Tarien are standing. They jump and look around, only to see Goldberry and Rabbit walking into the cirlce. the ground shakes with another rumble "Rabbit's really hungry, can't you hear his poor lil tummy??" Goldie explains.

This is just awful!!! We need to do something... If you don't mind all so much, I'd like to check out Mirkwood. My cats seemed to enjoy the spider pizza last time they were there.

Let us head out... We will fight the evil creatures and feed our cats!!!

They started on their quest. The roar of the cats stomachs frightened off everyone around them so they had the road fairly to themselves. They sang as they went, the cats meowing along... Elgee's voice squeeking. The desperate felines tore at the grass... Then they came upon...

...Truor Tupnm and his cat Michaelangelo (Micas for short). "Hey! Can I come to find some more food for my cat, too? He's been looking hungrily at some of our horses lately!"

*looks at the cats* yeah but if we don't hurry they'll end eating one of us....hehe

Yes, and Goldie is in great danger because she once said she was an oliphant... the cats look at Goldie hopefully...

OOC: HEY!!! I'm here after all... What do you know?

IC: Anyway, the brave troup travels very quickly, only stopping long enough for the cats to eat some grass and uprooted trees.
They reach Mirkwood and the starving cats, utterly desperate, tear up a good acre and a half and chew it down... Half of them get sick from this and it comes back up again... (this is how wood pulp was invented).

Then rabbit comes accross a baby mirkwood spider. he eats it and runs around frantically looking for more. he says "MEOW YUMMY!!!!" and nearly throws goldie off. she says "NOOOOARRRDDDVAARRKKKKK"

*Truor, in bear form, jumps off of Micas to scout out for large spider colonies*

Tai sniffs the air hopefully, causing Tarien to draw her sword and look at her cat in a where-are-the-spiders kind of way.

Here spider spider spider... Elgee spies a large section of webs, across the trail like fine guaze... the only difference was all the dead flies... yuck...

Rabbit finds a colony of teenaged spders and starts chowing down, hissing and warning off anyone who comes near his food...

Selfish cat... Without warning, Badger springs upon Rabbit, knocking him into the huge, fly filled web. The cats struggle furiously, getting incredibly tangled up.

[HLGStrider]

"STOP IT YOU TWO!!!" Elgee shrieks at the fighting cats, noticing that the noise is drawing more terrible spiders...

"STOP IT YOU ARDVARKS!!!" Goldie yells. Every one looks at her funny.

The spiders come closer, guaking at the fight. Elgee starts to shiver... they are sooooooooo icky...

Rabbit slashes at Badger and runs away. all of a sudden, rabbit finds himself (goldie, somehow, remained on the silly ardvark's back) surrounded by huge mirkwood spiders. "oh, you silly cat, i betcha these are those silly baby spiders mommies....you got us into this youd best get us out." Rabbit licks her lips.

The spider's eyes glow and glisten, little black specks in their furry faces.
The spiders are the evil creatures, they inhabit evil places.
The spiders are ugly and awful, like hairy sewage with long arms.
The spiders are terrible and cruel, a spider hurts and harms!!!!

Elgee sings the song above in a squeeky, spider scaring voice as the cats close in for a feast.

rabbit pounces and munches wildly along with some other starvin cats.

ooc: Come on, we're making this too easy!!!

ic: All of the sudden the stomping of eight huge legs was heard. Avove the forest towered a hugmongous spider, bigger than all the cats put together. Everyone's jaws hit the floor with a sickening slap. This was the big momma of all spiders, Shelob's great great great grandmummy... She had long fames that dripped foul smelling venom. Beady eyes that were all sooooooooo ugly... Hairy legs that tickled... Elgee started to go into hysterics.

Rabbit continues to munch on a fallen spider, not noticing that Goldie's jaw has dropped to the ground. Goldie regains her jaw, nudges Rabbit into a gallop and screams "RUN AWAY, RUN AWAYYYY!"
this would be great, if the spider hadnt started to follow them...

The spider chased after them, evil and ugly. It sprang onto the nearest tree which toppled under its weight. The tree fell, blocking the quests exit...

Goldberry panics and shoots a model ardvark at the spider with a slingshot. spider doesnt like this...

While the spider is chasing it had 2 not-so-big-spiders-but-pretty-close-in-size-ones that ran ahead of the group in a tree and now trapped them. The 2 spiders stood in this order, one of them, a tree, then the other one. All of a sudden everyone heard yelling and loud cat meows, IT WAS NAIN, TAC, AND TIGER! The only problem was Nain was being dragged by the cats. He was only hanging on by a tail, literaly. The 2 cats both ran at the not-so-big-spiders-but-pretty-close-in-size-ones on each side of the tree. Tac go the one in front and Tiger got the one in the back. Nain, on the other hand got the tree. The cats so hungry devoured the spiders. Nain lifts up his body and wobbles around, but manages "I'm ok...........I think......."

*several small spiders suddenly drop out of the trees with arrows in them, heroic music in the background while Truor and Micas jump out and each grab one of the giant spider's legs and start slashing/biting*

Goldie finally regains her composure and draws her sword, hacking off all eight legs of the huge spider. *giggle* now the big mean spider is just a oblong circle rolling around, rabbit eats it promptly, with too much mashing and gnawing (if you ask me)

Tai looks mildly sickened, and Tarien is turned away.

OOC: Don't you just hate it when that happens? :D

IC: "Thank you all my heroic friends... What would we have done without you?"

Badger roasts the spider legs over a fire and then eats them up.

OOC: How did we so easily dispatch Shelob's great great great grandmummy? oh well.

IC: *Micas starts chowing down with the other cats on a giant spider leg* "Where to next? Anyways, I hope Shelob puts up more of a fight!"

*Micas sensibly pounces on the spiders harrassing the scary Goldberry person and eats the herring at the same time* "There you go! I definitely think we should stay here and let our cats eat Shelob. Wouldn't we be helping out the stinky elves who live here, too?"

IC: *as the group is deciding if they should stay or leave, they hear an army of giant spiders coming towards them* "Uh, oh. Ummm...strategic withdrawal?"

*matt runs in direction of the spider's sound* "No matt!!!!.." *Glory grabs her sword* "...bad cat...."

Tarien mounts Tai and immediately follows orders, racing to the lead of the pack.

*glory tries to get Matt away from the spiders but the cat still wants to hunst them*

Badger swallows Spiders as they go... Elgee is practically in fits... ICKY ICKY SPIDER!!!
SUDDENLY SAT BESIDER
And Elgee fell off her cat.

Badger snatched her up "kitten in the mouth style" and together they fled.

*suddenly (what a great word) Shelob jumps in front of the fleeing group* "Woah! Micas, let's chance it with the smaller spiders!"

DIE EVIL SPIDERS@!!! Elgee shrieks.

Goldie looses all nerve and slinks to rabbit's back while rabbit has a party....*munch munch....gag gag*

Tarien completely freaks out at the sight of the giant spider-Queen, and accidentally screams a Word of Command, turning Shelob into a shrubbery.

Goldberry falls of her cat, but continues to run. Nain decides to get back at her for making fun of his rhyme. When she glances behind her shoulder NAin walks infront of her looking around innocently, then he sticks his leg out in front of her. She trips and gets huge air and lands in a huge pile of spider poo. Everyone starts laughing histerically. THe spiders are even laughin and they laugh so hard they fall over and die from the impact. "Chow down everyone. And laugh at Goldberry too!!"

Poor Goldie...

Elgee tries very hard not to laugh, having herself recently fallen into spider parts... Ick...

Gee... Poor Shelob... NOT!!!

However, the problems are not over. Filled with wrath for the transformation of their leader the spiders grab onto one of their enemies, the shrieking Elgee, and drag her up into the bush that had been Shelob. They take Elgee to the very top of the tree and push away Badger when he makes a heroic attempt to rescue her. They drag her to the edge of a long branch.

Now in hysterics, Elgee struggles against the evil spiders with thier long, itchy, icky arms. They hold her out over empty space making her very glad that she wore pants for once but a little bit nervous about the heighth.

Elgee bites the spider's leg which is crunchy and sour.. yick.

*Truor pulls out his sword (rare occasion) and starts hacking at the bush while Micas waits to catch Elgee if she is dropped*

Elgee, afraid of falling, starts to shriek some more.

The spiders start swinging her back and forth singing rock a bye baby... Very bad sense of humor, don't you think.

"HELP!!!" The spiders glare at the brave Truor.

[Glory]

*Matt is too busy eating desesperately spiders to pay attention to anything Glory dismounts and goes to help Micas just in case he'd try to catch Elgge with his claws*

[Tarien]

Tarien screeches and screams until, by pure chance, she speaks the right word to turn all the spiders holding Elgee captive into herrings.

ooc: Sorry guys, but I am seriously arachnophobic, and I can't take much more of this.

Unfortunately, herrings do not have arms, and Elgee imediately beings to plummet towards the ground... Then her cape gets snagged on a sharp branch and she is left hanging in mid air while the cats chow down on the very delicious herring.

*glory looks at matt mad* "stupid cat go to help her!!!" *points finger to elgee* "Meow!" *glory get furious and pulls matt's tail the cat get anger and scratches Glory*

Goldie innocently grabs a few handfuls of the gross stuff and walks over to Nain, he doesnt see her cause he's laughin so hard. Goldie gives him a big pooey hug and shoves the handfuls of poo in his face. "ohhh, who's laughing at who now??"

Goldie, behave!!! We shall not fight amongst ourselves!!!

Elgee yells down from where she is hanging...

"This is an interesting postion... For once in my life I'm taller than everybody..."

[Tarien]

Tarien jumps on Tai, and rides over.
'Can you jump?' She calls up, then decides, upon reflection, she can't. Tarien then jumps up (IknowI'mjumpingalot,bearwithme), and grabs Elgee's branch. With one hand, she draws a daggar and slashes free Elgee's cloak, dropping her onto the ready Tai. As soon as Elgee dismounts, Tarien follows.

*sighs* "ouch! ..bad cat...."

*Truor finally looks up from eating the herring with the cats* "Hm? Oh, there you are, Elgee. Everything okay? Good, now who's up for fighting Shelob without magic?"

[Ecthelion]

Nain with poo on him stops laughing and looks sharply at Goldie. She is laughing her head off, but stops when NAin starts laughing also. She says "Your not supposed to be laughing. I am." Nain answered "Yes, but I am imagining what I am about ot do to you." Goldie looks confused. Nain suddenly seems to grow 10 feet tall. He says in a powerful voice to Goldie "I am a knight of Nee! NEE!" Goldie screams and shivers to the ground. "Now take this." Nain yelled. HE waved his hand and turned Goldie into a shrubbery. Nain laughed and said "Now you must find the tallest tree in the forest and cut it down with....." He paused and lifted up something".......A herring!NEE NEE NEE NEE!!" Nain howled with laughter, oh yeah and hey wiped the poop off his face. He ended the conversation saying to the shurbbery "Who IS laughing now?" HE countinued laughing.

Nain! I dub you an Honorary Knight of Ni! Put it in your sig!

Goldie stands up, gets onto rabbit, stands up on rabbit and says to Nain.... "YOU ARE NO LONGER A KNIGHT WHO SAYS NEI! FOR I AM THE KNIGHT WHO SAYS ICKY ICKY ICKY ICKY PTWANG ZOOP BOYNG WHADDUM HUMP!" Nain collapses with fear, twitching and spazzing on the ground.

Good idea, Truor...

Just as Nain and Goldie are flying at each other a large, spindly leg appears between them... The leg is one of eight which suddenly surround the little troup. Elgee shrieks, hits Shelob in the knee with her frying pan, causing the spider to double over, and runs.

*Goldie sits down* "Oh, you're no fun anymore!'

[Glory]

*punches Matt* "Can somebody tell to this cat that he is eating too much?"

ok...Matt, you are eating too much. if you eat too much on an empty stomache, your stomache will blow up. :D

[Tarien]

'Don't want to be there when that happens.' Says Tarien earnestly.

[HLGStrider]

The others apparently do not notice Shelob so Elgee is alone... Alone against the terrible creepy thing... Alone...

It approaches, spitting venom (ooc in this RPG Shelob spits venom. Want to make something of it?). Elgee deflects it with her Frying Pan, Teflon. The spider puts its front leg down on top of her cape and starts to pull her it.
Desperate, Elgee shrieks... iEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Then, she strikes out blindly, hitting one of Shelob's multiple eyes with her pan. The spider gives a pain filled scream, as shrill as a banshee's cry. The poison on Teflon's back has gotten in her eyes. Elgee scrambles away once more, hitting a few times as she goes.

[Glory]

*draws a dagger and cut one of the shelob's legs* "there you go! I helped you!"

[Tarien]

Tarien stands still, screaming, till Shelob bats her away.
'EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW!' She screeches, then flings a rock at Shelob.

Rabbit looks at shelob, decides hes full, and lies down to take a cat nap. so goldie runs into the fight, pokes Shelob with her sword, runs away and hides behind rabbit.

[HLGStrider]

Elgee attacks once more, drawing a short knife and covering it with poison from Teflon. She then stabs hard into the fleshy body of Shelob the Great...

*just a little bit intimidated by the size of the spider, Truor backs out from under it and starts shooting arrows at the eyes from a safe distance*

[HLGStrider]

Elgee darts her knife in again. The spider howls with rage, venom dripping from her mouth. One of Truor's errors sinks into an eye with a spurt of yellow blood. She starts to lean towards one side. In a last burst of anger she hurls Elgee from her. She then collapses, unable to support her own weight on her frail, spindly legs.

[Tarien]

Tarien continues throwing rocks, with no noticible effect.

[YayGollum]

*Micas then jumps on the spider's back and tries to rip her head off (Shelob's, not Elgee's) and all the smaller spiders run away (Yay!)*

[HLGStrider]

Horray for TRUOR!!! Elgee yells. She then passes out...

Some of Tarien's rocks are hitting home, causing Shelob great discomfort.

watching Truor, Goldie realizes that arrows are much more convenient, strings her bow and shoots an arrow at shelob....yay!

[HLGStrider]

Elgee lays there unconscious while arrows fly over her head, hitting home... Shelob spurts icky blood.

[Glory]

*glory carries elgee away from shelob*

[Tarien]

Tarien suddenly realizes that rocks might do a bit of damage if they had more momentum.

She takes of her sash and makes an impromtu sling. Her first rock shoots the ground near Elgee, but the second takes Shelob right in the eye.

Yay me!

Goldie shoots another arrow....NEHER! blinded spidey...well, half blind...

ooc: Actually, I believe spiders have like eight eyes a piece...

Let's finish this darn aracnid off!!!

Without warning Badger jumps up and starts taking a big, deep bit out of the back of Shelob's head. The creature gives a hiss like a dragon's death cry!!!

Shelob's eight legs twitch mechancially. Her metalic eyes glow red for a moment... slowly the fire dies and she lies dead but still quivering.

*when he's convinced that Shelob is finally dead, Truor comes back out of a tree and starts locating the sacs filled with the two different kinds of poison she had, dipping his arrows and darts in them* "Anybody want to help me figure out which poison is which?" :rolleyes:

“err..... no thanks” ¬¬*looks at the shelob* “still have 7 eyes”

"That's fine. It's probably just the stuff that Elgee got in her eyes. Okay, where to now?"

OOC: Of course, Arianne... you and Athene.

Elgee moans and opens one eye....

"Is that nasty spider still around???"

*Athene, a small orange kitten, peers around from Arianne's skirts with a frightened gleam in her eye. Arianne strokes Athene absent mindedly with one bare foot before moving closer to Elgee.*

Yeah, I just got knocked around a bit... all in the line of duty...

*extends her hand to help Elgee up*

"Thanks," Elgee sighes. "I suppose we should go on to the sea and see if there is anything to eat."

Rabbit is quite embarassed to have such an undignified rider on his back.

They soon could here the breakers against the serf... They soon could see the gulls flying. They soon couldn't hear Goldie singing because someone had gagged her...

Above the water there suddenly arrose a snake like head with two burning yellow eyes....

[Glory]

"ok kittens time to eat!!!!...go attack the disgusting snake!!!"

OOC: Woah! We got to the sea fast!

IC: *at the sight of the giant snake, Micas and Truor ummm...run away* "Hey, cat! Get back out there!"

[HLGStrider]

Cowardly Micah... The snake like creature sticks its huge, ugly head inland and snatch up one of the cats in its jaws.
"NO!!!" Elgee shrieked, grabbing the thing about its neck... she slipped down down down into the water.

Goldie would be screaming, but she cant talk. what she would be saying is "[get off me you overgrown gross thing! my cat'll have you]" however, all you guys get to hear is "maaslreinfdkeinremrrrrmph"

*glory dismounts and tries to force Matt to fight the snake unfortunaletely Matt gets away and Runs faster than her* "Come here Matt!!!!!!!!!!!.....COWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!" *takes her sword and decides to help Elgee*

Elgee manages to stop slipping just before the water line... The waves lap at her feet. She takes out her frying pan and starts hitting at the monster... this has very little results. It starts to curl about her, squeezing tighter and tighter... she hits again.

"[rabbit, get back here and eat this monster]" but you hear "mrumpheragardf" and rabbit falls asleep.

[HLGStrider]

"Typical," Elgee scowls. She then concentrates on catliness, grows claws, and starts to climb up the neck of the monster, sticking her claws into its flesh. The creature writhes, snapping its neck like a whip... Elgee hangs on however and soon reaches the top. "Some body throw me a sword or a rope!!!" she gasps.

OOC: I had no idea you could do that, Elgee!

IC: *tries to pull his rusty sword out of it's sheath, but it's been unused for too long* "Ack! Will a throwing knife do?" *throws one so that it sticks close to her hand (paw now?) in the snake's neck, he then hides behind his shield while trying to pull his sword out*

*Ari stands her ground before the behemoth. Cowardly Athene shivers and hides behind her skirts, and as Arianne takes one barefooted step forward violet lightning crackles beneath her feet. Her eyes begin to glow eerily. With one hand on her staff she raises the other in the air and launches a spark of violent violet lightning into the monster's left eye, partially blinding it*

OOC: Okay, that was the scariest thing I've ever seen!

IC: *Truor finally gets his sword free and throws it up to Elgee as well, then starts shooting arrows at it's eyes, while Micas decides to run up the thing's back and help Elgee*

Elgee grabs the knife and starts carving her initials into the Beasts neck... HLG

"Hit him again, Arianne!!! I think it's working!!!" she gasped.
Elgee's brave beyond brave cat, Badger, takes a flying leap and lands next to Elgee, he has a rope attached to his waist. There is now a bridge (the rope) from the monster to the land.

Goldie is still attached to the monster, "[dont hurt me with that innane magic, Arianne]" but all she hears is "mrogrunmuphrern."

"Since when are you attached to the monster? Oh well." *Truor runs up with his sword (which obviously didn't get up to Elgee) and cuts her free*

Elgee ties the rope about the monster's ears(which are long and floppy and very very fleshy). Badger, still a little peckish, takes a big bite out of them. The monster bellows noisily.
"Hey, Truor!!!" Elgee gasps. "Get your sword out... His ears seem to be perfect cat food!!!"

"Argh!" *Truor turns into a bear and tries his best to climb up the monster's body without getting thrown off and finally gets to the top, only to slice the ears off, making Badger fall on the beach (on all fours of course)*

Badger shakes himself off and jumps towards the beast. Unfortunately he slips and lands in the water. Now really mad he dog paddles over and starts to climb back up again... Truor is making a gallant attempt to dismember the creature... which is hard because it apparently has no limbs.

OOC: yeah, what does this thing look like? oh well.

IC: *Truor finds a couple of fins to chop off, then climbs to the top where he tries to poke out it's eyes while not getting bucked off*

*finally glory convinces Matt to help Elgee so the cat jumps and tries to climb on the snake [in a suspiciously way to glory he seem more interested in eating ears than in Elgee's safety]*

Stand back, Truor!! *Arianne calls in a commanding but slightly desperate voice. Her violet eyes once again glow eerily and lightning crackles about her bare feet. Wind whips through her hair and her white gown shimmers against the vibrant sparks. Her hand shoots up and white hot streams of violet fire pour forth, she sends one super-charged bolt into the monster's right eye rendering him entirely blind, and another rain of inferno is unleashed towards the monsters soft belly. His eye socket burns and massive amounts of acrid black smoke curl around his head. Through the wound in his belly a thick black goo begins to issue forth. It's putrid stench wafts across the breeze and those not already covering their mouths to prevent inhalation of the sickening smoke are holding their noses to halt the invasion of this olafactory nightmare. Though wounded the monster is not dead. Tough and resilient, though not immune to pain it howls in rage and begins tossing its head, causing Elgee, Truor, Goldie, and Micas to hold on for dear life.*
*Ari shouts,*
"Brace yourself, Goldie"
*and pulls a silver arrow from her quiver. It cleanly slices the knot on the cloth holding the gag in Goldie's mouth. Ari then casts off her cloak and runs barefoot towards the monsters violently lashing tail still half submerged in the salty water. As she approaches its tail swings with an unexpected bout of fury and hurls Ari towards the rocky cliff. She smacks into the cliff wall and sinks in a crumpled heap to the sand. Down for the count. Athene, the cowardly kitten, goes wide-eyed, shivers and lets out a plaintive mew.*

*Truor has to run to not get squashed by the writhing monster after he finally gets bucked off and thrown into the sea* "Argh! Now, where's my sword?" *sees that it landed in the thing's back when he fell, Truor runs back to the shore to hide behind his shield again*

*Arianne still lies in a barely breathing heap, but Athene seeing the peril of her mistress springs into action. With swiftness and cunning known only to a feline she dashes towards the monster's tail and latches on with her claws and teeth. Her orange fur is dampened by the fierce splashing of the water but a dull orange glow seems to seep from her claws and into the monster's skin.*

OOC: Yikes! Too much scary magic stuff! oh well.

IC: *Truor gives Arianne his shield and stupidly runs forward with his knives out, using them to climb back up to the head, where he tries to avoid the teeth while gouging the mouth*

*Arianne lies immobile on the sand behind Truor's dented shield. Athene, scrambles up the monster's neck and crawls into it's earhole clawing at the ear canal and making her way towards the inner ear. The monster screams wildly*

OOC: Woah! This monster is bigger than I thought if a cat can crawl into it's ear!

IC: *Truor starts cutting into it's throat (finally), which makes him get bucked off again* "Argh! How do those other people stay on that thing?" *the monster is now bleeding profusely from several wounds, it's thrashing making most of them worse, and the salt water making it more painful, he's gonna die soon (hopefully)*

"FINALLY" gasp gasp. Goldie wakes up rabbit and tries to persuade him to eat the narsty monster

OOC: You have to remember, Athene is a pretty tiny Kitten...and yeah, I'm guessing the monster is pretty big...

IC: *Athene crawls farther into the monsters ear and bites down hard on his cochlea. She then shrieks, shattering the eardrum of the mutant leviathan and she crawls through to the inner ear where she scratches and bites and claws and shreds. The monster wails and having his innear ear damaged begins to lose his balance and teeters a bit, on the brink of falling over. With one final screech into the monsters ear and a few final sharp assaults Athene scampers out the monster's ear and scurries down his neck to the safety of the sand. She thinks:*

They'd better get off soon!! He's going down!!!

Elgee, a very clumsy person, had already been bucked off. She clings to the back of Badger who is swimming and ferociously taking bites of of the creature's body... large bites... The meat stinks, but Badger can eat anything. Elgee manages to stradle the creature and when it puts its head down to far she deals it a fatal blow with her frying pan. CLANG!!!
The thing begins to sink into the sea... Elgee hops onto the shore, takes the rope attached to the beast and starts to tug.
"URG... Somebody help me!!! This is good cat food that's sinking here!"

*Truor pops out of the surf and grabs the rope, but of course the monster is way too big, so they wait until the tide goes down* "Hmmm...this thing doesn't taste that bad!" *starts chowing down with Micas* :rolleyes:

Rabbit sighs and starts to munch on the monster. Goldie then tries to swim out to Elgee, however, when goldie gets halfway there, the monster appears to be in her way....hrumph.

The monster is very well salted by this time by the briney sea... It has also been bleeding, realeasing the tell tell scent of death into the water... a very attractive scent to some creatures...

Of course, as the cats and their riders sit chowing down on the salty evil creature meat, they are not thinking about this. Elgee is wrestling with Badger who stole her seaweed spice...

*Athene crawls into the surf to wash the earwax off her fur. Arianne is still unconscious, unaware that the peril has passed.*

*still chowing down on the beast, Truor barely notices the sharks that are coming closer* "Hey, is somebody gonna go wake up Arianne? I don't know if she'd eat something like this, though. Woah! Ack! Sharks!" *runs away to find his dented (how?) shield*

Goldie wipes her mouth, goes back to shore and rings out her cloak over Arianne's face.

[Glory]

*she tries to wake Arianne up* "I don't like sharks"

The sharks circle closer.
"You may not like sharks, Glory, but they will probably like you... with salt and pepper!" Elgee swallows. The group gets away from the water, but part of the monster still remains in. The sharks start to chow down. Enraged at seeing their food being pilfered, several of the cats jump in after the sharks.
"NO!!! STUPID CATS!!!"

Goldie looks over at Elgee's situation and burps. "no, Glory, they'd probably like you better without salt and pepper."

*feeling the water dripping from Goldie's cloak and hearing the screeches of the enraged cats Arianne wakes up and groggily says:*

I swear, the dominoes aren't mine, mum!!!

[Glory]

*loooks at arianne* "honestly you heve chose the worst moment to faint...anyway you are awake now"
*turns to Elgee* "you don't know shark are for me like spiders are for you ...I really don't like them....":(
*looks at goldie* "...with or without salt and pepper I hope they don't come any closer to me...besides they don't carry condiments..."
*Matt comnes closer to the jaws and attacks the first shark*

Matt the Cat grabs onto the shark by the dorsal fin and bites down hard. Elgee grabs Truor's knife, grows claws, and jumps in too, aiming at the evil fishy's eyes.

*glory grabs her sword and cuts a shark's eye*

"Oh, do we have to fight??" Goldie's tired, so she sits on rabbit's back and shoots at the sharks. yarrr!

*Arianne, still a bit groggy*
I didn't faint, Glory! I was smashed against the rock by that evil sea creature...

*looks out to the sea*
Oh, bloody hell...more fighting.

*Taking Goldie's stance, she starts launching arrows into the shark's flesh*

"yay!!! I got one eye!!! erm....ewwww....disgusting!!!!!" *throws the eye away*

SAVE THE EYES!!! THEY ARE A RARE DELICACY!!!

Elgee lassoos the tail of a shark and starts to drag it inland. When it is there she guts it and serves its fins in soup.

"eww....soup of shark's eyes" *looks really bothered*

*Gives Glory a sidelong glance* "If you have to vomit, do it in the ocean. the sharks will love the appetizer."

"I think it is a success matt seem quite happy after eating but we could always continue the journey"
