Gnargoth the Black - a Brief history
It was during the second age that this mercenary of Morgoth first came to the shores of Middle Earth. He was powerful, a breed of warrior from the depths of the sea he was brought to life by the power of darkness and by it's might he filled the northern lands with terror and bloodshed. The elves of the Northern Alliance held back his army - an ugly mixture of orcs, trolls, and goblins - from ransacking villages and Kingdoms and they almost won had it not been for Gnargoth himself who filled his soldiers with great strength and mighty will that they, in their madness, could fight even if they held on their very life by a thread. There was only one way to destroy this menacing evil and it was brought to Middle Earth by the Istari Palando. It was the great Jewel of Life made up of four powerful amulets each representing an element of Middle Earth - fire, water, air and earth.
However the Jewel was so powerful that only a person with pure heart can wield it, and in doing so, may require him to leave middle earth or die. There was none in the race of elves, though they may be pure of heart could wield the stone, and none even dared. They fear it too much for it has been told that if an elf should hold on to it, it would either, destroy him or corrupt him. An elf can hold on to one amulet at a time, but not on all four.
Their hope for victory has waned until Azargan, a man of pure heart from one of the villages in the North joined the alliance in hopes of defeating the evil that has set afoot met the Wizard Palando, and before leaving into the west, the wizard saw in him the light of Iluvatar showing that he was the chosen one. Palando then entrusts the jewel of life to him and he destroyed Gnargoth with it, and peace came back to that part of middle earth.

BATTLE OF THE FORTRESS
Mormarion and his archers were greatly outnumbered and taken by surprise. They were fighting off the orc host that advanced from the Northern wing of the fortress. They have taken the Treasures of the Sea Elves, and with that the Amulet holding the power to control land. Mormarion could not see why it was that they had been attacked so viciously by this unforeseen foe. Then rising like a vast black smoke with red hot flame bursting from its nostrills, came a being in the form of a large bull, standing 20 feet high and had a large mace of mithril in it's hand. Mormarion could not believe his eyes for he knows this monstrous figure from long ago. It was Gnargoth the black who has come to avenge his death and conquer that part of Middle Earth. But though his form can be seen by the naked eye, his former strength and power have not yet returned. And the only damage that he could do was with the blow of his gigantic Mace. The elves were too fast for him yet. Thinking that they can easily defeat this newly incarnated monster, Mormarion ordered his archers to charge, only to see that behind this great mass of dark but weak power, was a horde of Orcs, Trolls, and Goblins, and in their front, a Necromancer from the East. He waved his arm and bolts of Lightning came flashing in the sky and it hit and burned many elves. The form of Gnargoth slowly fading in the western wind, now but a shadow in the rear, has been clouded by the sudden onslaught of the enemy.
Hundreds of elves lost their lives in the battle of the Fortress but at the last moment, Mormarion son of the king took up his bow and aimed it's deadly arrow towards the force behind the foe - the Necromance. He hit him more than once in his rage at their defeat and he fell, but on his death the enemy has grown stronger. Now he is a driving will of madness in their midst like a gathering cloud of darkness filling every void and weakening the mind as well as the heart. Not more than 12 of Mormarions forces survived. They decide to leave the fortress and retreat to the Kingdom. In their haste they have neglected to protect the second amulet of power. It was the traitor Thorkan the one eyed who took it from its glass container and handed it over to his new master, Gnargoth the Black. Thus ended the battle of the Andi Fortress where now only dark beings under Gnargoth's command now live.

Smyern Silverstar
History: He was born and raised in Mirkwood during the 3rd age, having always had an itense desire of travelling and discovering the many wonders of Middle Earth. He dedicated most of his time to learning the secrets of swordplaying, which he would learn from his father, Talcyron Silverstar. In his travelling, Smyern would seldomly join some of the Rangers in their wandering and adventuring, especially those who headed towards the northern lands of Middle Earth. When the time came, he fought the Battle of the 5 Armies, met Bilbo and Gandalf, and went with them to Rivendell. There he lived until the end of the War of the Ring, having also fought in the war. After the war was over, he decided he would only sail back to the west once he had seen all of that was to be seen in Middle Earth. From there on, he simply travelled and wandered though Middle Earth, never setting feet in a place for more than a few weeks, and always in search of new places and regions for him to admire. Rarely does he return to Mirkwood, doing so only to tell his stories and adventures to his family and close friends who still haven't left Middle Earth.
Personality: Not what can be referd to as an open person, but always willing to learn and get to see new places. Likes to listen and observe more than he likes to talk and is very suspicious of men and dwarves, thinking that they do not take notice of the world's true beauty and wonder. He has an excellent memory (remarkable even by Elvish standards) and, everytime he returns to Mirkwood, he writes down all of the most memorable things that he has seen and that have happened. After many many years of wandering, travelling and adventuring, the thought of leaving Middle Earth begins to bother him every once in a while. He has not made a visit to The Lonely Mountain after the Battle of the 5 Armies, being that what he will probably do before leaving Middle Earth.

Boffin's history: Like I said before, he's the son of Bofur, (also, Birgin's friend) so he was born and grew up in the Lonely Mountain. When they tried to train him (like they do all Dwarves) in the art of the forge, he proved marvellously inept. They tried to show him how to do other things, too (like how to run things over there since he's the son of some important dude), but they found out that he didn't have any talents towards anything they tried to teach him. They sent him out into the wide world to seek his fortune (which means they got fed up with him so they got rid of him). He took a ceremonial helm and a family mace with him (they wouldn't let him take anything too helpful, because they'd want it for someone who would use it better. oh well). I'm guessing that somewhere along the line, he met up with one of the people we had at the beginning of the RPG and that's it. No more history. He's boring. I'm uncreative. sorry about that. I'm pretty sure that not everybody in Middle Earth has a super exciting history.
Tolir's history: Just your normal, everyday, stinking, nasssty, boring human. Grew up in Trurion. Not from any super prestigious line of humans. Got the honor of being chosen to be an apprentice under some of the Dwarves living in those made up RPG caves. He made his dirk and battle axe. He heard about the trolls and orcs messing around near his city, so he came down and found out that his family had been killed by a pack of trolls. He got really mad, he sharpened his dirk, and went hunting. Found the group. The end. sorry about that. *runs away*

I was born and reared in Lothlorien, having learned the healing arts from my Lady Galadriel and the skills of the bow from Haldir, my kinsman. To my ever-lasting regret I never knew my parents, only that they were killed by Orcs shortly after my birth. My Lady Galadriel in her kindness, allowed me to live in Lothlorien until I could choose the path my life would take.
As I entered my adult-hood, Master Elrond and the Lady Arwen chanced to visit Lothloien and Haldir came before Elrond on my behalf. Elrond then came to me and asked me if I would come back to Rivendell with him to become one of the scouts that guards the Passes into Rivendell itself. I gladly accepted and lived for many years in relative harmony, even finding love in the form of my beloved Tindomerel.
Alas, we were never to wed for she was killed when she went to visit a kinswoman in a town not far from Rivendell. The town was destroyed and I arrived too late to save her. I travel now in the company of strangers, my shame not allowing me to return to Rivendell until in some way I can find some measure of peace..

THE BATTLE OF THE EVERGLADES
When the King, Faentaur, learned about the plunder of the Northern wing, he suspected that Black dwarves from another kingdom came to wrestle with the people of his friend King Thrond of the Stillfan Caves. He immediately sent a messenger out to Lothalien where the Wizard Dalfir has taken residence. He sent for him to clear up whatever problem there was at the mithril mines, for he thought this was the case. (The messenger he sent, was quite slow for he did not see the need for haste, he spent many days enjoying his adventures in the open land that by the time he came to Dalfir it was already too late. And it took Dalfir more time to gather a group to come with him, on what seemed to him a simple treasure hunt.)
Immediately after dispatching the messenger, Mormarion arrived with his battle-weary soldiers and they tell the king exactly what had transpired. The enemy will be advancing very soon, and they will not be taken unawares this time. The King held a council with all the leaders of nearby villages and cities. In that council Melchor represented the City of Quandro, Hildrin represented the city of Trurion, Emor represented the City of Brun, and it was Thorkan who represented the dwarves of the Stillfan Caves. (Mormarion did not see him take the amulet. No one knew of his treachery until the actual battle). In this council King Faentaur and the other leaders formed an alliance, and they made plans on how to defend themselves from an attack. He gave the amulet of Water to his youngest son Celebcristion and he was sent to Lothlorien. The amulet of fire given to Queen Lilliarien and she was to depart to the undying lands. All this was made known to the council. And they agreed to escort the Lady Lilliarien to the Havens then Celebcristion to Lothlorien. The dwarves volunteered to help some of the elves in taking the Lady to the Havens while Celebcristion was escorted by his friend Rolban and other elves to Lothlorien.
The King had his two sons Elrion and Mormarion fight the onslaught of the enemy near the everglades, with Men from Trurion, Quandro, and Brun, also with them was an army of Dwarves led by Thorkan the One Eyed. Then the Battle began. The orcs, countless in number with large Trolls of every assortment and Goblins with Wargs charged them. To their great suprise and anger (and sadness) the Dwarf army of Thorkan charged at the elves too, making a large circle of enemies with the elves in the middle, fighting for their lives, it was Thorkan who killed Elrion with his matchete he slashed the young elf in the neck and Elrion fell. When the King saw the treachery of the Dwarves he unleashed his hidden force, the Archers of Mirkwood who have come to his aid, which he did not mention at the council. They were lead by the Prince Legolas, son of Thranduil, Faentaur's brother. It was a long, bloody, and unfair battle. Mormarion was pierced by many arrows, and was hacked by dwarves in his back. He died in his father's arms. Melchor died and Hildir lost all his sons and Emor, his leg in the battle of the Everglades.

FLIGHT TO THE HAVENS, THE QUEENS DEATH, AND THE PRINCE'S GRIEF
While on her way to the Grey Havens, Queen Lilliarien felt a great sadness in her heart. Her thoughts suddenly went to her sons, Mormarion and Elrion, and she desperately wanted to go back. But her escorts were threatened by the dwarves. Then their treachery was laid bare. They killed the elves who guarded the Lady of the White Woods, and her they took into as captive. They argued about how to bring her to Gnargoth, and if they should return to the Fortress using the pass at the Northern Wing. At last they agreed to take the pass of Sigin-tarag and quickly bring her to their master. Not knowing what befell her sons in the battle of the everglades, the Queen thought mostly about the amulet of fire that was now being delivered to Gnargoth the Black.
When Gnargoth saw the Queen, he immediately had her bound and whipped. Some of the dwarves who delivered her, felt remorse at what they had done, and had only done such a cruel deed in exchange for their families and their freedom. But in return, Gnargoth had them killed by his orcs, and given to his wargs as meat. The Queen was set on top of large stone table and her head was cut-off. Her body was thrown near the eves of the Everglades and her head not far from it. A dwarf escaping the dungeons of Gnargoth, saw the decapitated body of the Queen, and weeped and worried how this will affect the friendship of their king with Faentaur. But the guards have noticed his escaped and were hot on his trail, in his haste and in his desire to warn the elves, he etches with a blunt spear the words GNARGOTH LIVES. And went to his doom. He was killed and the head of the queen was placed on a stick and planted on the ground for all to see.
Upon hearing the death of his brothers, Prince Celebcristion went in great haste back to his father's kingdom. There he learned of the ambush and treason at the havens and set out to search for his mother. With him came Rolban, now General of the tower of Guard in the White Kingdom. He saw the everglades and saw many familiar, and beloved faces on the ground, and in a shallow mound he saw the swords of his brothers, Elrion and Mormarion. And he felt as though his heart would explode, but then in his grief, a cry from Rolban was heard, he called out to the Prince, and upon reaching the place where Rolban was, he saw the most horrifying, and devastating sight of all, not far from the mounds of his brothers lay the now decaying body of his mother, Queen Lilliarien, and her head on a steak on the ground. He could hardly recognize her beautiful face for in it, was carved dwarf runes, which he could not read. Anger, hate, revenge was all that he could think off, and from that time on, he swore never again to trust a dwarf.

I have made a picture of my idea of King Faentaur (Well I know he looks so familiar to all of you, but hey, it's the closest thing to the character in my mind. Ok? ) Here's what the King of the White Mountain should look like.

Here's my idea of Prince Celebcristion. He's my favorite actor, and if I were a man, I would want to look like him. The editing is not very good, so bear with me, at least you all now have an idea of what Celebcristion might look like.

AZARGAN
Azargan was from the house of Lewarlo, a great man of noble kind (many say he's really from Numenor, but to this he would only say, "Aren't we all?"), was blessed by the Queen Galadriel on his birth. She it was who fortold of his greatness in the years of his manhood. Though this fortune was not told to Azargan himself, he later learned from the blue wizard Palando.
After Gnargoth's defeat, Azargan was given the gift of the Eldar - which was to depart to the undying lands. The power that the Jewel of Life gave to him in defeating Gnargoth was overwhelming that to keep the jewel and stay in middle earth will be folly. Yet he got corrupted by a faint whisper of deceit from an unknown wind (some say it was the Necromancer), and he decide to do neither. He took the jewel of life and claimed it's power for his own, also he claimed the city of Rahunal in the North to be HIS kingdom. The power of the Jewel steadily corrupted Azargan, and the time came when he himself became a tyrant and a murderer. He even devised to murder his own family, during his failing years. No one was to possess his treasure, but him. So with the help of Thranduil and Elrond, his family were hidden from him. He seeked them out thoroughly and challenged the elves viciously. Until his wife decided to leave the confines of the Elves to face her husband and die bitterly. She left her children to Palando who took them to the west, near the Shire, and their identity and history kept secret.
Azargan killed his wife, and she told him that all her children had died.
By now, Azargan has been stretched by the Jewel too long, and he died in the last battle against the elves.
Palando on the other hand moved the children of Azargan from the West back up North to their Kinsmen in Trurion, and later in the City of Quandro. And the last heir to be recorded was...

Ok. Now I am finally posting Dalfir's history. Hold on for Cirgan's.
History of:
Dalfir the Wise
(wizard)
Dalfir the Wise lived in Middle-earth under many titles. (One of them happened to be Gandalf)
Dalfir comes and goes as he pleases. Often going away for hundreds of years at a time, but also staying for hundreds of years. Dalfir is 950 years old. This is not his real age. His age is calculated by how long he has been around as Dalfir.
Dalfir is the cousin of Palando the Blue. Palando is the wizard who found Azargan and helped destroy Gnargoth. Dalfir came back searching for Palando. He hoped to be able to aid him. Alas, he was too late. While trying to defend Azargan a troll killed Palando. (Dalfir inherited Palando’s sword, Orwin. Orwin glows orange when trolls are near.) Though wizards don’t usually hold grudges, Dalfir vowed, after finding Palando dead, that he would destroy, with Orwin, the troll that killed his beloved cousin. Little did Dalfir know that Gnargoth had given the troll the job of slaying him. It had also been the troll’s duty to kill any wizard, since the troll was so good at it. (The troll‘s name is Snickthak)
Dalfir always seems to show up when he is most needed.
Dalfir spent most of his 950 years studying Middle-earth’s history in the South and in the West.
Now that he is caught up in a quest in the North, Dalfir regrets that he did not learn North’s lore. Knowing Northern lore would have aided Dalfir greatly in his search for the descendant of Azargan. In fact he probably would not have had to do much searching at all. For he would have known who the heir was from the start.
Fate is soon to step into Dalfir’s life. Will it bring about his death? Or will it bring about him a great victory for Middle-earth?
(Note: Although this is biography includes Palando the Blue, Palando‘s history was much different than that which I have written.)

As Azargan’s heart was corrupted by the power of the Jewel of life, he hunted down all the elves that were before his allies. Palando seeing the evil that has befallen his heart took away his family and hid them in the valley of Elrond in Rivendell. Their lineage and history were concealed, until Azargan finally met his death on the eve of the 3rd age by the hand of Ellohir, son of Elrond. And the Jewel of life restored in pieces to the keeping of the King of the White Kingdom – Faentaur. His children lived to be men of great stature and goodwill and the kindness of the elves they inherited. Then they removed to Bree, and lived there for a time, but after the death of their matriarch, Palando decided to tell them of the true history of their family and they decided to move back to Quandro. For the love of Palando they decided to forget about their forefather Azargan, but not before they registered their family in the book of registry of the City of Quandro.
After many years and many hardships the heirs of Azargan were forgotten and some thought that they were lost at sea, for they became fishermen, along with the dwarves of the Stillfan caves and the people of nearby Trurion. Although Cirgan and his family were not part of the fishing clan, for they made their livelihood on writing, the blood of Azargan was more potent in their line. And though he had other relatives that could claim the inheritance, it was he that Iluvatar chose, for he was noble and kind, and his heart was filled with the beauty of knowledge.

Long ago, during the second age, when the dwarves of middle earth were at the height of their magic and power, a guardian of their treasure was made in the depths of the earth. It was made entirely of Mithril and was about 15 feet tall. There were about 20 of these guardians made and were distributed in places were the dwarves guarded their horde, there were some in Erebor, and some in the Stillfan caves, but during the war with Gnargoth the black, most them were destroyed.
Only one had survived and it belonged to the dwarves of the Stillfan caves and it was stolen by Thorkan the one-eyed and placed in the entrance of the pass of Sigin-Tarag which was made by him and his men to enter the fortress of the elves on top of the Andi Mountain.
There was only one way to control this monster, and dwarves know the way.

The Mark is a term that the dwarven considers to be the most evil omen among their people. The Mark results when a particularly high magical aptitude is present within a dwarf, and is easily recognized as soon as the dwarf is born. Marks are magically created markings on the body that resemble tattoos (and are completely unremovable), and depending on the magical force that creates them, they take on different designs. Fire-mages will have wavy lines, water mages will often have tearlike shapes, clerics have runes, and so on.
When a Mark is found on a newborn dwarf, they are immediately cut off from mainstream society. At the age of 5 they are exiled from the dwarven community in which they live. Approximately 1 in 150,000 dwarves have the Mark, and only 1 in 5 with the Mark are actually inclined to magic.
On another note, twins who are born with the Mark are immediately killed. The magical aptitude of Marked twins is near that of the godlike.
Ciryaher

Dwarf of unknown origin born with the Mark. Approximately 110 years old.
The High Priest of the Order of N'dirri, he has taken on a lesser appearance and travels as a mere cleric. Having immense powers, he is respected throughout all Clerical orders as one of the Great Healers (of which there are only five).
After wandering for nigh 60 years in the wilderness, he was found and befriended by an elderly man. Soon developing a great bond between them, Belsen was adopted and became the man's only son just before he died. The man's daughter, Trossia, got along very well with her adopted brother, and learned from him the ways of the forest, as well as the art of non-magical healing.
As far as appearances go, Belsen is bald with a healthy and youthful beard that is the hue of pale gold. His eyes are light green, and his most noticable feature is the rune on his eye that is one of his two Marks. He has a medium build (light, for a dwarf) and stands at four and a half feet tall.

So, in other words, since he was cut off from Dwarf society, he wouldn't know the words. oh well. Poor Boffin.
