Central RP Time

Alright, a while ago we agreed on the ammount of real life time that would equal a forum year. This has been loosly used. I propose that, as of next Sunday, we will have new-years day in the forum. And, six weeks from that day, the next year will start. Thus 1 real week is = 2 forum months. I would appriciate it if someone could tell me about what year it is, so that an appropriate time table could be kept, and announcements and declairations could be dated. It is time we stepped out of the dark ages people....

I think 1 week equalling 2 months is way too short

I think that 1 Real Week should equal to 1 Rp month

Having a timeline is a good idea but the trouble is sometimes you want it to go fast, and sometimes you want it to go slow. Depending on what is happening.

For example, in the case of the rebellion in Arnor, things need to move slowly. But if everyone is just building and constructing, you don't want to sit around waiting.

Tricky one... I don't really have any answers.

alright then, I guess no one cares. I will try to figure out what year it is, and then I will start the whole thing.... just trying to get a basic history of the fourth age so far, thought it would interest someone.

I just need one of the 'older' RP players to answer a few questions

1- approx. how long into the fourth age did RP5 start?
2- how long of a time period existed between 5 and 6?
3- what month did either RP5 or RP6 begin in (I was thinking september or october)

after that it is pretty much smooth sailing, just counting weeks and such. Then we could have a document telling the events of the fourth age, for newbs and such.- just an Idea.
