Please use this thread to discuss any aspect of 'The Lost Flame of Ormal'. I know Chrysophalax and Turgon have been doing some work behind the scenes in getting this RP/story underway, so you may wish to add a few pointers for the members relating to charactars and plots etc.

Have we decided yet whether this is a story continuation, RP with select characters or mixed or what?

RRR, I believe Turgon and I attempted to wrest some of that info from you in the first place, but noooooo! All that we had come up with (on our own)! was that hopefully someone will pick up the lead character's role and Turgon and I will join thereafter as Beleg and Mablung. ANY help will be coveted/appreciated!!

If anyone should taken the arduous task of continuing Lathir's epic quest... then good luck to them... :p Apologies to Chrysophalax and Ancalagon for neglecting my duties... sorry dragon-people!

But to all the members of Ost-in-Edhil - I urge you to give this story a try - you are all articulate and wise Tolkienites, and I'm sure you will get a lot of enjoyment from it. Give it go... you have nothing to lose but your lives.

Lathir is now close to Rivil's Well and heading for the pass of Anach. Perhaps he could get ensnared in Nan Durgortheb in his search for the Hidden City...? But I think it important to the story that he should never come there... as Anc has said - that is a privilege that should be reserved for Tuor alone.

Thanks to you both, the story itself is moving along nicely. I would reiterate what Turgon has said and ask the members to join the fray. This is an ideal opportunity to let your mind go and develop an excellent story. I would prefer to see others post before I do.

I have never done a RP before but looks like something I can do!?!:)

So I will take on the charactor of Lathir Brodwine.

You will have to realize that I can only post on the weekends because work takes me away from home five days a week and I am only home for the weekends.:(

So this being Sunday night I 'll print off what has gone before and start next Friday/Saturday.

Ok at this point we are at the High springs of the Mindeb in the Anech Pass. I am just about to nail some of the major points down in the story. I hope that nobody minds if I keep moving along until soemone else jumps in.
