Valanthe looks over at the two as raven pulls up to the front and smiles to herself. "Winner gets first shot at the first super-baddie we find!" She calls out, and moves off with a burst of speed, laughing the whole way as a green clearing comes into veiw.

Valanthe leans forward and rides up colser. She rides up just next to Benjamin, but as she tries to pass him, something looms in front of the companions that stops Valanthe in her tracks.

Valanthe quickly draws her bow, but then she remembers it probably wouldn't do any good. Then she turns to Benjamin for help.

quickly jumps to her feet drawing her sword and wonders if it will do any good

Quickly ,to arms friends,said Benjamin as he leapt from his horse."Draw close ,back to back,our weapons may not be any use against this force but just be careful.With that Benjamin produces a small bag and takes from it a fist of small orbs containing a red glowing liquid."Here each take some of these they will keep this evil at bay temporarily if you throw them at it".No sooner had he said this when the dark force loomed forward causing the earth to shake."What kind of deamon can have such power?

now dangerously close to the elemental raven crys out in a dark tonge "ka la namae lumina ka la dorie velegra" hoping that the creature would think that she was an evil creature like it was and pass her by

The Elemental began to calm ,seemingly at ravens chant but ,Benjamin couldn't help getting the feeling it was totally false.

she looked at thew elemental it knew she was a child of the night like it but it knew that she wasnt like it she backed away slowly carefully it began to come after her so she turned and ran it continued to gain until it overtook her her sword went through it without effect she could feel it reaching for her soul for her life

In an instant Benjamin had a red orb in his hand ,he threw it hard and accurate hitting the elemental on the bck causing it to reel in a spasm of pain leaving it paralysed temporarily

in that time raven crawled to her feet and employed her only magic. tracing runes in the air and reciting a dark verse she summoned a demon to protect her

Quick flee ! your demon will protect us for a while,*with that Benjamin was upon his horse spurring him on* ,"come quickly ,let us away"

Valanthe stands frozen, staring at the Elemental. Finally, she shakes her head and wakes herself from the trance. She mounts her horse and rides onward with great agility, yet she can't help the lingering feeling of fear in the depths of her heart. After riding in silence for a while, the companions come upon the clearing. It is nothing but a small area with a few trees. Valanthe practically falls off her horse and makes her way over to a rotting log and sits down. She begins to tremble and is gasping for breath. A feeling of bitter cold spreads through her from the center of her body.

raven walked over to her "what is wrong?" she said wearily

As suddenly as it came, the feeling passed. "I... I don't know what happened." She replied in a shakey voice. " It... it was probably nothing." But she was not so sure. Valanthe rises unsteadily to her feet. " We had better move on. I think there may be a town left up ahead."

raven could sense valanthe's unease but said nothing she just quietly followed the others and muttered "i hope its a large town"

Soon they came upon a larg town ,busy with people going to an fro ,"How about we find an inn for the night "

smiles and shakes her head "im afraid i wont be coming to an inn with you but ill be back before dawn dont worry"

Benjamin then dismounted and entered the inn.The bar was busy and the sound of laughter and merriment filled the air.Benjamin moved through the crowded lounge and reached the bar.He called upon the bar man ,a small fat round man ,"what can I do for you sir ?" grumbled the barman trying to fill a pint at the same time ,"I would like a room for the night ,to fit three people ,",Rightyo sir " replied the barman leading Benjamin through a small side door into a dimly light hallway " The name's Harold sir " "Glad to meet you Harold ".Ah here you go sir a room for three, you can come and go as you please ,"Thank you very much ,replied Benjamin and could you send us down some food for now ,and we also may need provisions for later" No problem sir i'll send Tom down to ye in a few minutes with them ,he wont be long.
Benjamin then lay down on the bed and waited for the food and any of his companions to come

Valanthe watched raven ride away curiously, but knew better than to follow. Suddenly she turned around, looking back and forth. She could have sworn she had heard a whisper carried on the wind behind her, but saw nothing other than the path on wich they had come. She stood staring blankly for several minutes, but then managed to shake off her thoughts. She lead Mardnab over to the inn which Benjamin had entered. She tied up her hores and went inside. She got someone to lead her to her room. She entered to find Benjamin laying on his bed. Silently, she made her way over to her bed and sat down on it, removing her cloak. She opens her mouth to say something to Benjamin when there was a knock on the door.

raven rode to a more run down side of town she stoped at the first ramshakle tavern and spent half an hour sitting and watching then she followed someone out.....

15 minutes later she was riding back to the inn cloak pulled over her face

Valanthe rises from her bed and opens the door. "Raven! I'm glad you're back. Benjamin and I were just waiting for some food to get here-" Valanthe suddenly thought of something "uumm.... have you had something to... er... eat?"

in something of a differrent voice than she had used that day she answered "yes yes i have" she pushed her hood back revealing blood running down her chin she takes off her cloak and walks over to a wash basin and washes of the blood

Valanthe longed to ask where -or who- she had gotton her supper from, but she knew better. She trusted Raven by now. Instead she asked her two friends "Where do you think we should head in the morning?"

I really dont know where ewe should go .Perhaps we will hear something in the inn tonight that will make up our minds.*The inn keeper entered carryiong two platters of food here you go ,he said with a smile before leaving*I think we should mingle in the common room after this , I saw a few shifty looking people who may have a few propositions

"A good plan" answers Valanthe. She and Benjamin eat their food in silence, Valanthe constantly glancing at Raven. When they finish, they head to the common room where there is much comotion going on. At a table in the cornor, they hear a few men talking loudly, obviously a bit drunk. But one of them says something that sparks the companions' interest.

raven inwardly smiles at her friends all to obvious intrest in her supper but keeps her mouth shut not wanting to startle what may be a good proposition

Valanthe does her best to tune out the bable of the common room and listen to the conversation. She manages to figure out that he is talking about some creature he saw the other day. Though it could be true, Valanthe decides it could be the liquer talking. She turns back to her friends. "Do you see anyone of interest?"

looksaround and decides everyone was drunk enough not to notice her fangs "i suggest we split up start in the middle and move to the coners then circle back to the bar with what information we have to share"

Valanthe nods her head. They head to the center of the room and head in different directions, Valanthe headed for the cornor with the man she had been listening to. As she moved through the room, all she heard was the usual idle chit-chat. Then she got to the corner, where the man was telling his story. "So there I was" he says in a swaying voice. "Mindin' my own buisness, walkin' in the woods when all of a sudden this guy in a cloak appears outta nowhere, and starts talkin' about some..... quest and whatnot, I wasn't really paying attention. And then he says somethin' like... aahh, I don' know. And he sets this big nasty green creature on me! And... and I was fightin' 'im reeeaal good, when... I..... I.... remembered I left somethin' on the stove at home! So... I had to go." Valanthe heads over to the table. There is an empty chair next to the drunk man. She hates to do this, but...
"Hi there." Valanthe says in a seductive voice, sitting down in the chair. "I heared you talking about that incredible fight against that demon! You must be really good." He swells up with pride. "Yeah, I'm pretty good at that kinda thing, little lady." Valanthe cringes a little. "So, tell me about that cloaked guy you met." She says in a sweet, curious voice. "Eh? The cloaked guy? Aaahh, he said some stuff about a... gem in a mountain or somethin...... and doin' a spell.... a total nutcase, that's all. Now, how about you and me gettin' outta here, hot stuff?" Valanthe has trouble keeping her supper down to hear that, but, thinking fast she replies: "Uuuhhh, no... uumm... I'm with him" Pointing at Benjamin across the room. Before he can say anything, Valanthe gets up and walks quickly back towards the center of the room, a shiver going down her spine.

IC: Valanthe and Raven meet in the center of the room, Benjamin not quite finished with his round yet. Valanthe shares her story with Raven. "Oh" She adds when she's finished, "Don't be suprised if that guy is glaring at Benjamin on the way out." she says with a dry smile. "So, did yuo find anything of interest?"

"if you consider seven purple and red unicorns chasing a alligator intresting i will hppily direct you to the poppys table" she said pointing at a table of zoned out addicits "otherwise i didnt find a thing'

"That's alright. Perhaps Benjamin will have some information uppon arival" Says Valanthe, looking in his direction.

"lets go see if he found anything" she started walking towards benjamin being careful to keep inbetween valenthe and the drunk man who had stood up and was coming towards them she stopped "go by benjamin act like you are really with him" valenthe did so and the man continued towards her raven stepped in front of him....

Valanthe does as Raven says, she walks over next to Bejamin and leans on him in a flirtatious manner. As she senses Benjamin's confusion, she whispers in his ear: "Just play along. I'll explain later" Then she notices as Raven steps in front of the man...

IC:the man says something vile when she doesnt move from his path to valenthe when he moves to hit her she side steps takes off her cloak and tosses it to valenthe. she punches the man sqaurely in the jaw and they continue to fight back and forth for sometime till the man pulls a knife on her and slashes down the back of her shoulder she turned the wound healing he was now between her and the others

Valanthe tosses the cloak now to Benjamin and raises her hand in the air "Lasillvian!" she cries and all the commotion stops except for Raven and Valanthe. Valanthe heads for Raven. "It's a time-freeze spell" she says before Raven can answer "it won't last long. Are you alright?" says valanthe looking at Raven's shoulder, pulling out of her pack a bottle of saphire liquid and handing it to her.

"whats this?" she said looking at the bottle as she headed toward benjamin for her cloakstops next to the still froze drunkard takes his knife from him and scratches the mark of a famous ghost across his face with it then continues on her way

"It's just a pain killer, though I doubt your in much pain it can still help. Concotion of my own as a matter of fact." as Raven retrieves her cloak. A smile creeps across Valanthe's face "Did you get enough to eat?... Or should we do something else with him?"

"ewww" wrinkles her nose and sticks out her tounge "yuck. the only way im feeding on him is if you kiss him first."

[ILLOTRTM]

"please, it was hard enough to flirt with him, no WAY I'm touching his lips, who knows where theyve been besides a tankard?" Valanthe chuckles. "Speaking of flirting" Valanthe walks over to Benjamin "We should find out what he's gathered. What do you say we do with this sideshow freak? The spell will run out shortly."

"welllllll...." raven takes out her sword and makes three swift cuts "that will be intresting for his fellows to watch" raven laughs and wipes her sword on the man takes her cloak and puts it back on puts her sword away and goes outside

Valanthe watches Raven go outside. "Not a bad idea." she thinks. Moving a frozen Benjamin outside, the spell ends. The commotion continues in the common room. As Benjamin also unfreezes, Valanthe shares her story with him. "So what did you gather?" She says upon finish

Alone, sitting under a tree outside the Inn Ranuial sings..

"O night breeze
what brings me to this place this eve
What now do I follow?

O elm trees
what stays me in the shelter of your leaves
how long do I wallow....

Valanthe stiffens, hearing the distinct voice of a fellow elf. "You two stay here and.... talk about what information we have." And with that, Valanthe moves like a cat in the night in the direction of the song. When she reaches it she sees a tall, fair elf sitting under a tree. She approaches him slowly as the singing ceased. "What say you, elf?" Says Valanthe at a bit of a loss for words.

I didnt find much but an old dwarf who had been sitting alone had mentioned something about a troublesome force in the mines of spiralarch north of here in the mountain,a deamon of some sort ,however the only way up there is through the eagles pass which is guarded by a small garrison of dwarves but I guess we can take it

Ranuial gasps as he see's her approach. Surely that is en Elf.
After she speaks, he replies...
"Just that I am wondering through these lands. They are strange to me, I was not expecting to see an Elf"
He looks up at her waiting for a response.

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe was equaly suprized to see an elf. "I am traveling with my... my friends." She says, feeling strangley inferior to this elf. "My name is.." Suddenly she forgets her name. It comes to her after a few miutes of pause. "Valanthe. Valanthe Liadon. I'm afraid I haven't yet recieved yours." She says, trying to seem under control.

[Nóm]

Ranuial stands and with a smile he speaks "Good to meet you Valanthe. I am Ranuial"

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe smiles back at him. "Are you... wondering in these parts for a particular reason? Where do you hail from? My original home is Rivendell." Rivendell. Sweet Rivendell. Valanthe suddenly realizes how long ago it was that she was home. Remembering the beautiful gardens and buildings makes her very homesick, but she manages to snap back to reality when she hears Ranuial's voice.

[Nóm]

Ranuial replies looking up into the night sky "Wondering for no reason other than to wander"
he now looks over at Valanthe
"I was born in Mirkwood forest, and lived there as a child. For many years though I have wondered. I would like to visit Rivendell some day. (ranuial sighs) Are there many of your people there?"

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe smiles to herself. "Very many" she replies. "I once wandered in this land as well. It was such a better place then. But then I heared talk that something was wrong here. I came to discover that, as you must have seen, the place has many strange things going on now. I met up with my friends, Raven and Benjamin here..." Raven and Benjamin, that's right. Valanthe had compleatly fogotten them upon meeting Ranuial. "Ranuial, since you haven't much a reason to wander here, per haps you would wish to join my companions and I? It would be nice to have a fellow elf around again." Valanthe smiles.

[Nóm]

Ranuial replies "Yes, it is nice to find an Elf where you did not think one would be. I will join you and your campanions. For awhile, at Least"

watches the new elf come up with valenthe smiles very big fanged smile and says "welcome stranger"

"Hello Vampire"
Ranuial turns to Valanthe.."You did not tell me that your companion is a vampire"

My apologies, I should have told you. Allow me to do the introductions. Valanthe extends her hand towards the vampire. "This is Raven. She is a child of the night, yes, but you have nothing to fear, she is not evil." now she turns to the human. "This is Benjamin. He is also traveling with me. Raven, Benjamin, this is Ranuial, another elf." Valanthe's smile widens a bit.

[Nóm]

"Hello Raven, hello Benjamin" says Ranuial turning,to look at each of them in turn.
He now turns back to Valanthe. His surprise at meeting the Elf was not yet worn away.

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe smiles at Ranuial's obvious shock, but she is not one to talk. She is not sure if her heart has started beating again yet. Feeling as if a superior being is standing next to her, she tries to speak in a steady voice. "Well, this has been quite a night! I think we should all get some rest, but unfortunatley, our room is only set for three. What is to be done?" Turning to Ranuial.

[Nóm]

"Valanthe, I have a room at the Inn, but I am not yet in need of rest. I could meet up with you tomorrow, but for tonight I'd like to wander outside for awhile."
Ranuial looks around and takes in a deep breath

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe nods at Ranuial and turns to the others. Well, I would suggest we head up then, we have been through a lot today.
So they head up to the room together. Within several minutes, she hears Benjamin breathing heavily, asleep. No sound can be heard from Raven of course, but Valanthe can tell she is in a restful state. As much as Valanthe tries, and knows that she needs it, she cannot fall asleep. The shock that was Ranuial keeps floating back into her head. At last, Valanthe refuses sleep all together. Silently, she rises and leaves the inn. With every step she takes, she knows she needs the sleep, but it will not come. When Valanthe gets outside, she sets off in search of Ranuial. Perhaps if she learns more about him it will put her mind at ease.

[Nóm]

Ranuial walking along the edge of a wooded area ceases song when he see's Valanthe outside looks around.
He thinks :That Elf can not sleep, she is probably looking for me
Ranuial steps out from under the tree and stands watching her, his arms are folded and the breeze against his face blows his hair back in causing it to dance in the wind.

[ILLOTRTM]

Hearing breathing to her left, Valanthe turns to see Ranuial, standing at ease, watching her. "He looks so ready for me, like he knew I was coming" She thinks to herself. Smiling and trying to look casual, she says: "Good evening. I am sorry if I disturbed you at all, but I could not rest, no sleep will come to me this night. I was wondering: if I would not be a burden to you, I would like to talk, perhaps learn more about you. If you would rather not, I would willingly to leave...."

[Nóm]

"You are not a bother to me.I wonder about you too. That i would find such an Elf as you far from your home in Rivendell. I wonder at the chance meeting of us wanderers on such a lovely night in such a dying land. I would enjoy your company. Would you like to walk?" Ranuial beside Valanthe places his hand on her back

"What do you wish to know of me?"

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe looks up at the night sky, taking in its beauty. "What of your family?" She asks while they walk."Do you have relatives waiting for you somewhere?"

[Nóm]

Ranuial looks at the ground as he begins to speak "I've not saw my family since I was a child, but only hear news of them. Are they waiting for me? I could not say."

[ILLOTRTM]

Sorry she asked, Valanthe switches to a lighter subject. "I've heared you singing in the woods. Not only is your voice enchanting, but what beautiful words that cross your fair lips." Valanthe looks up at Ranuial. "Are these words your own?"

[Nóm]

"The song that you heard is my own. What of you though...why are you in this land?...(Ranuial looks aroound) There is evil all about."

[ILLOTRTM]

A grim smile crosses Valanthes face, and a few tears stung at her eyes. She looks at the ground, hoping Ranuial did not see them. "Yes, I am used to evil. I left Rivendell about five years ago, for I was called to a battle against some dark forces a ways away from my home. When the battle was over, another arose. This continued for some time. When they were over, I was finally on my way back home, when I got word that my brother, Thamior in Mirkwood was on his deathbed. You see, my parents passed away shortly after I was born. Thamior raised me from an infant. Once I was old enough to care for myself, he found it too hard to stay in Rivendell, and left for Mirkwood.
When I got there, it was three days before he died. It was an unknown reason, but somehow I beleive he was murdered. After he was gone, I came here, for it used to be a peaceful place. Then, when I tried for home again, I heared something evil went on here. I came back and met up with Raven and Benjamin, and, here I am." Valanthe was fighting the biggest war of her life now, with her tears and emotions not to show themselves.

[Nóm]

Ranuial puts the enchantment of soothing into his voice.
"Raven and Benjamin...have you known them for long?"

[ILLOTRTM]

"No" Valanthe replies, the pain of regressing slowly passing now. "I have met them on some recent travles, but we have not kept much in touch until now. Do you travle in a party? Do you have a... a... a lover?" She says with as much unintrest as she can force into her voice.

[Nóm]

"I usualy travel alone. Sometimes I run into a friend or stanger who is going my way and when that happens I enjoy the company. Other times I end up going their way for awhile. I have no lover though"

[ILLOTRTM]

A sigh of relief escapes Valanthe's lips, but she manages to stop it short. She realizes she had been holding her breath. Feeling relaxed she searches her mind for a good subject. Then, they come upon a lake, and Valanthe realizes that they are a ways away from the inn, but it doesn't matter. The sight is beautiful. It is a full moon, and a lake as still as glass, surrounded be weeping willows. There are several shooting starts to be seen. Valanthe, not knowing what to say at such a beautiful scene, darts up and stands on a large flat rock right next to the lake. Turning back to Ranuial, not knowing what else to say, calls: "It's so beautiful."

[Nóm]

"It is"

Ranuial makes a song:
"Bright as a shinning crystal is the lake
in this dark land
bright are the eyes of Valanthe
and as the lake her tears look of crystal
dark is her hair
as the lake is she
shinning crystal in the darkness
as the lake is she"

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe, blushing furiously, has been making this song in her head since she met Ranuial:
"Fairer than the rose of spring,
Most graceful, that I deam,
Causing joy, enough to sing,
Why won't I awake from this dream?

Awaken now, I wish it not!

That is my wish,
Please grant me this!
until the end of time!"

As her song ends, she can't look in his eyes. For though a good voice was given to her, a lyricis she is not! She simply continues to stare out at the lake, wondering just how red she is.

Ranuial is not surprised by Valanthe's words, but is touched that she would say such things.
Ranuial puts his hand against his chest "Fast are the ways of this world, but long enduring are it's changes. Valanthe Crystal Tears..(he walks over to her) if this be a dream, wish not that it end"

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe's heart having the time of it's life she looks into his eyes. They are almost hypnotic, how beautiful. "It can't be a dream, now. For this is the part where I would wake up. The part after the elf of my dreams has stolen my heart. The part after nothing could go wrong. The part where things don't seem like they could get better, but they just continue to do so." Valanthe walks closer to Ranuial.

[Nóm]

Taking Valanthe's hands Ranuial speaks
"This is not a dream Valanthe unless my whole life on this Earth has been. I can not say what is next for us, but I will travel and fight by your side in these evil lands. When victory is ours I will wander with you if this Kind Elf that I know tonight is who she seems."

[ILLOTRTM]

Before Valanthe can stop herself, she reaches up and kisses Ranuial. Once she realizes what she's done, she pulls away, horrified, possitive that she has ruined everything by moving to fast.

[Nóm]

Ranuial steps nearer her, waiting to see how she'll react.

[ILLOTRTM]

"I... I don't know... what came over me.... I'm... I'm so sorry... I.. I.." but this is too much for her. Valanthe sets off and runs to the other side of the lake. Sitting down, almost considering drowning herself in the lake, she puts her face in her arms and cries. "stupid.... stupid" she keeps muttering.

[Nóm]

Ranuial stands watching her go. When he see's her sit accross the lake he sits also. For a few moments his is silent, wondering how he should handle this. To him it is plain that Valanthe thinks that she has moved to fast.
He speaks quietly
"Wind, carry my voice as ever you have, carry it to Valanthe Crystal Tears"
The stands and calls on the wind
"Valanthe! Crystal Tears! You move too fast, never! But when you move away"

He stands watching her

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe stands, hearing Ranuial's voice. Back across the lake she walks, and stands back next to Ranuial. She doesn't know what to say, but sees that running will do no good. "I offer you my sincerist apologies. I know I should have waited for you to move, but you must understand, that is a hard thing to do looking in to the face of such a fair one." Valanthe looks back into his eyes, but smiles now.

[Nóm]

"I understand" Ranuial now faces back in the direction of the Inn. "I do not think I will sleep tonight but you said earlier that you need rest for tomorrow?"

[ILLOTRTM]

"Yes" Valanthe replies unhappily. "And my friends may worry if they find me missing. Especialy Raven. We should head back soon."

[Nóm]

Ranuial takes Valanthe's hand as they start slowly back to the Inn.

[ILLOTRTM]

As soon as they start out, their walk seems to end as the inn comes into veiw. Valanthe turns to look at Ranuial. "This is not a night I want to end."

[Nóm]

Ranuial stands before Valanthe, they hold eachothers hands between them. Ranuial looks into her eyes. "The moon is going and the sun rises soon. If you need rest perhaps it will come to you when you keep this in mind: ever does the night last, but rests each day, and ever will the night be ours Valanthe. I will see you tomorrow?"

[ILLOTRTM]

"Yes, we will see each other tomorrow. I bid goodnight to the one elf whom I surrender my heart." Valanthe backs slowly towards the door, waiting for His last word of the night.

[Nóm]

Ranuial watches Valanthe with a smile in his eyes, as she backs slowly away. "Goodnight Valanthe" he says folding his arms. Ranuial stands watching her go as he stood watching her look for him earlier. Again his hair flowing back in the breeze.

[ILLOTRTM]

Finally, Valanthe steps back into the inn. She quietly heads upstairs to her room, where the others are still at rest. After a night like that, Valanthe has a strong feeling of love inside her. Not just for Ranuial, but for her friends. She walks over to Benjamins bed. He looks very peaceful. Then she moves over to Raven's bed. Valanthe strokes Raven's beautiful silver hair for a few minutes. Then she walks over to her own bed and allows sleep to over take her entirely.

With Valanthe gone, Ranuial doesn't sing. Now he sits and thinks for awhile about Valanthe, and he wonders where her and her companions plan on setting off to. He realises that it was silly not to ask her where they would be going or what they would be doing in the morning.
At last, just a daylight is about to creep back into the sky, Ranuial goes to his room and changes into white silky day clothes. He sits by the fire.

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe awakens the next morning with a good feeling inside of her. After a few minutes she remembers why. She is the only one awake, for it is still early. She wants very much to awaken Raven and tell her about what happened last night, but refuses to get her friend from a state of rest- she would never wake a vampire. After changing into her dark green day gown, she heads downstairs and asks where Ranuial resides. After locating the room, Valanthe takes a deep breath and knocks on the door.

[Nóm]

Ranuial decides to wait in the common room for Valanthe and her friends. Just as he is about to open the door, there is a knock.
"Oh!!" says ranuial.
He opens the doors, and a smile grows on his face. The combination of being happy to see Valanthe, and the startle that she gave him causes Ranuial laugh softly. He steps back and with his arm signals that Valanthe come in. He is still laughing.

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe, unable to help but smile back, enters his room. "What about me do you find so amusing?" laughing a little as well.

[Nóm]

"You gave me a little startle....gently am I revenged for stealing your heart"
Ranuial goes to Valanthe and wraps his arms around her.
"I forgot to ask last night, what will we be doing today?"

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe pulling away just enough to look at Ranuial's face replies "Well, we are't sure ourselves. I need to speak with Benjamin first, but I doubt they will be up for a while, they will sleep in.

[Nóm]

"We can have breakfast while we wait. Would you like it here, or in the common room? I'd also like to know anything else about your quest...as it is now mine too."

[ILLOTRTM]

"It doesn't matter where we are, as long as I'm with you. I will disscuss our journey over breakfast".

[Nóm]

With that they head out to the common room and order breakfast. Ranuial takes up the trays and carries them outside. They sit under the tree where they met and Ranuial listenes to what Valanthe has to say.

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe goes over all that happened since she arrived the second tm in this land. She also tells him the story of the man in the bar, chuckling at the memory. Once she is through, Valanthe runs her hands through her long hair and looks up at the sky. She closes her eyes and breaths in the smell of early morning. Looking out accross the land outside the inn, just sort of thinking out loud she says "I wonder what Raven will say." , smiling to herself.

[Nóm]

Ranuial thinks about all that Valanthe had to say. He enjoys the company of Valanthe, but would like to meet the others again. He hopes they will be up soon.
"It's been awhile since I've used my bow, even longer my sword"

[whiterider]

Hello Ranuial" siad Benjamin in a jolly voice ," I you and Valanthe are already up,"he said with a grin . So have you made your mind up if you are going to join us

[Nóm]

"Good morning Benjamin. I have made up my mind to go with Vah-you guys."

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe smiles. "Good morning, Benjamin, it is good to see you up." Valanthe stands. "Why don't the two of you get more aquainted while I fetch Raven?" With that, Valanthe sets off to the room. A little nervous about disturbing a vampire, she sits on the side of her bed. "Raven?" Valanthe whispers in her ear.

[Nóm]

Ranuial offers Benjamin some breakfast and asks him "What more can you tell me of these lands than Valanthe could?"

[whiterider]

These lands my friends are full of evils as you well know ,but there is a deadly power which we have encountered ,who controlls an evil magic I have never bofore seen,but these things I will not discuss here. All I will tell you is that it must be destroyed along with those who control it.
I have heard rumours that there is talk of an unknown foe in the mountains north of here ,it is accessable only by a narrow mountain pass which is guarded by a small garrison of dwarves .I am not sure if we could get through to investigate ,we must discuss this more with the others

[Nóm]

Ranuial listens to all that Benjamin says, he then sits quietly and wonders what evil power this could be.

Perhaps it is time we move out .We have dwelled in this inn a bit long and may only draw on some unwanted attention

[Nóm]

"I will be back out front here very soon" Ranuial heads to his room to pick up his Bow and pack.

[whiterider]

Yes meet me out front we will wait there until the others arrive.

[Nóm]

After a hurried, and anxious visit to his room Ranuial returns outside and waits under the tree. With him now is sword, bow, and a small pack.
Ranuial thinks of his time spent with Valanthe, and of the journey ahead oh him. He will have to enquire about a horse.
