After bowing to Dengen after his gracious welcome...Tirani steps back into the shadows as the rest of Legion bicker amonst themselves.

Arianne stood in the corner, watching, absentmindedly pulling at the laces at the side of her leather bodysuit as she watched the procedings.

"So quick to anger..." She thought of the newcomers. "They have much to learn. A den of evil this may be, but even those born to evil must value their allies."

She watched passively as Magnus took off with the Urukgush on his back.

"That Magnus is strong and powerful. But even the mighty may fall. I hope he takes care...our Legion is in dire need of his service."

Ranewen, bored of the verbal games, walked up to the southerner in the shadows. She studied her a minute before she spoke. "I am Ranewen, also called Morier, child of the darkness. What is thy name?" Ranewen fiddled with her sword hilt, tracing the intricate designs with a delicate finger.

*Arianne sharpened her dagger and listened in silence, secreting hserself in the shadows and rolling her eyes.*

[Elbereth]

Without looking at the stranger who approached her, Tirani continued to watch the unusual scene of the Orc being greeted warmly by the dragon. Then when she had had her fill of the scene, Tirani turned her disdainful gaze upon Ranewen, and answered stolidly and with a heavy accent, "I am Tirani, and what is it to you to know who I am? "

Tirani then stared into the strangers eyes suspiciously, waiting for a response.

Arianne stood in the shadows rolling her eyes at Tirani's disdain for Ranewen.

"Newbies..." she sighed. "Always the same."

Ranewen's eyes flashed. She absolutely dispised being shunned by one who knew nothing of her. "It is nothing to me," she said, her rage boiling. Her hand instinctively flew to her sword hilt. "You have no right to look at me as one below you. I am a great warrior, mortal." She spat the word, mortal, as if it tasted bad in her mouth. She had, very quickly, gained the hate of many in the room. She turned on her heel, annoyed she had allowed herself to become angry. "She is nothing to me," she thought, "Non of them are. I have lived perfectly well on my own for hundreds of years."

[Wonko The Sane]

"So quick to rise to anger, so quick to raise the shackles." She murmured.

"Ranewen!" Arianne called, beckoning from the shadows. "You must not heed her words. For all are poised on edge, and quick to lash their tongues where friendly greetings would serve better. Yes we are a den of cutthroats, but even we need to practice smooth interactions between our ranks. Ignore her words, she'll see the folly of them soon enough. If we fight so much amongst ourselves, we may as well stab ourselves and save the enemy the trouble."

"Tell me of yourself and your ways. For I will listen. And will not judge."

Ranewen was caught by surprise. Her words were not pitying, but wise. "I am half-elf, half-maia. I come from the darkness, but that is not news, as we all do. I came to find some fun, to kill my enemies and search for others who feel the same. And what about you? Tell me about yourself. How long have you been here?"

[Wonko The Sane]

Arianne smiled, a pleased look on her flace.

"Welcome, kinswoman. I too have the blood of the elves and the blood of the Maiar in my veins. Descended from Luthien and the Edain I am also of the half-elven. But that is all I can share. For my past lies shrouded in darkness. Death would swiftly come should my lineage be revealed. I was raised by a Dark Elf with talents similiar to mine in the dim recesses of Mirkwood. I came to this Legion because I was trained for this task. To serve my master and mistress. I now serve the Dark Queen Tar-Ancalime herself."

She bows reverently to Ranewen.

Ranewen smiled. "I know not this queen. She must be a great lady."

[Wonko The Sane]

"Yes. She is. Wife to the Dark Lord Dengen Goroth. Queen Tar-Ancalime. She has been gone many a day, but perhaps a new dawn shall herald her return."

Arianne bowed her head, obviously troubled at her Queen's long absence.

Ranewen nodded, "I look forward to meeting this great queen, especially if she is Lord Goroth's wife."

[Wonko The Sane]

"Yes. She is indeed great. And deserving of our Dark Lord. Her return is a long time coming." Arianne intoned in the shadows.

[Angoreth]

Quistarian walked in " so this is where you introduce yourself, aie?" asked the tall elf as she intered, her purple eye's pearing out of her black cloack.

[Wonko The Sane]

Arianne raised her eyebrows, her emerald eyes flashing from the darkness of her corner where she was conversing with Ranewen.
She lifted her chin a bit as she looked down her nose at Quistarian. "Yes. This is where you introduce yourself. Welcome, Elf-Wench. And watch your back."

[Angoreth]

Quistarian glared her eye's," Just the welcome I would expect from the scum of the bar" she said with a twisted smirke. " Bar-keeper, malt beer if you would?" she asked sitting at the bar, hand fingering the hilt of her sword.

Last I checked this was not a bar.
I think it's some sort of cave.

There's a bar for the Dark Legion in the Green Dragon Inn forum.

Arianne laughed heartily, "Trust me little elfling, I will never be your servant! The very idea is absurd!"

Her laughter died down and her gaze grew cold and serious, She said in an icy tone, "You'd better curb your inflated ego, little one. Or you'll find yourself with a dagger at your throat."

[Angoreth]

"Ego?No" she laughed, "for what Ispeak is true, but your dagger would falter befor you reached me" she said looking back with the same cold stare," For master of weapons I am" she said looking all the more cold," My arrow would pirece your brow befor you too a step" she said taking a seat still looking at her." And Little Elf-ling I am not, For even better then Galadriel herself" she said taking her gaze of of Arianne and took a look around.

[Wonko The Sane]

Arianne snorted again, laughing at the self-important elf.

"I do believe that you believe yourself to be a master of weaponry, but that is where my belief in your claims end."

She approached the elf, walking in circles around her as she spoke.

"You fancy yourself better than Galadriel? And better with weapons than even myself?"

"I was trained with the Dark Elves of Mirkwood. I grew up with a sword in my hand and a bow on my back. I will not claim to be better than you for I have not seen you fight. Take lesson from that. Do not count yourself among the fairest, best and brightest, if you have not seen the opponent at work. And take care, for in the Dark Legion there is a time and a place for bragging, and showing off. And this isn't it."

Ranewen crossed to the newcomer, "Arianne is right. I myself am a newcomer here. Making enemies is my specialty, and I have quite a few more than need be. Hold your tongue. Watch with your eyes. Wisdom cometh to those who desire it." She realized she was echoing Edrael's (sp?) words. Maybe there was more to the mortal than she thought...

Eredhael had withdrawn to a secluded corner of the room to sit and muse over her thoughts. She merely laughed at the newcomer, for it reminded her of an experience she had just gone through.

Magnus watched the exchange with mild interest, well aware he would get the left-overs. "Where is that elf that flattered me so much earlier...?"

A half elf entered the discussion, after he overheard the words spoken by the kinsman. His near 6 foot frame entered the light of the room, then he turned to Angoreth and Arianne as he spoke softly, yet clearly audible.

"The wiser person does not boast about their skills, but instead shows them when they are needed most. It is those men and women you need to be aware of."

Thranduir looked at both women he addressed and smirked.
"The elves at Mirkwood may have taught you well, that is still not better then those that live by the weapons they carry every day."

[Angoreth]

Quistarian shrugged," I see no need for fight?" she said looking around at the people watching there talk, " I will hold my tongue till time show's the better place to show my meanings" she said as she looked at Arianne.



" But, Time will come when weapons are at a need, or a challenge is drawn, then we will see" she said a she took a seat.

The dL is the first and foremost guild for all new members right? yes. Just read the beginnings of the threads in here.

For me, as an experinced dL person, I have the guild of ents there in my siggy firstly, because, well, that's just how I want it.

PS: You do not have to be entirely evil overall (heheh) to be in this guild. Post now ;) ..and try to open up a discussion on new thread ideas! That's what this LEGION needs! In my opinion:)

Actually, I believe that the Dark Legion here on TTF is shutting down since all the role-playing guilds are being moved over to the new site. So, if you'd like to be in the Dark Legion, join the new site and join the DL over there.

I guess I'll tell ya. The Dark Legion is practicly closed, all RPs have been reloacted to ME-RPG (http://www.middle-earth-rpg.com) Basicly ending them all here. Just a note for all new members wishing to join this place, it is now closed.
