Welcome all knights here is where you shall state all the weapons you carry and possess.Here also we shall design and alter weapons to make them better for our own use.

I shall start.
The weapons which I have are
*Long Sword
*Shield
*Knife
*Axe
*Mace
These are the weapons I use for close combat
I also use a Bow for distance fighting

*An ancient Elven Sword
*A pair of throwing knives
*A Battle Axe

As I have stated before I carry very few weapons. My sword given to me by King Eomer of Rohan, and my bow and quiver given to me by Mike B.. My most powerful weapons, although, are my hands, which is what I use to produce my magic.

Good I like to see we have a broad range of weaponry in our midst
But have any of you and ideas for weapons or missles which we could make for our own purposes in battle

*heres one I have been thinking of ,Greek Fire ,an old weapon used to repel invaders or people trying to invade a castle ,it is a substance which you light and pour or throw on your enemy(if he were trying to scale a wall or something)
the fire in not possible to extinguish with water as it is made from a potassium substance ,water really only spreads it.I think it would be ideal for catapults also to launch a few jars into a castle ,it should cause a bit of hovok :D

that's sounds like a good idea white rider. it should certainly cause some hovok. u think i could use that to burn down my school? just kidding. :D

im still membership pending but incase im accepted:

-1 long sword forged by the men of numenor in their glory days renamed Orthanc: Sword of the cunning mind. On each point of the hilt (bottom left right) there is a single green gem
-1 long bow given by the lady of the wood with hand carven elven runes
-1 quiver of arrows given by galadriel
-2 hunting knives.
-1 spear
-1 short scimintar.
-For protection i choose not to carry a sheild for it hinders my combat but i where a full body coat of mithril mail.

goldie carries a bow and arrows, a longsword and knives. she can also use an axe, but they are so harsh she doesnt carry one. she depends on her horse, midnight wings, and her riding cat, rabbt (given to her by elgee.)

i feel that the use of beasts for every day travel is inhumane. But should i go on a long journey i ride a swift white horse but i chose him more because he can bear a great burden.

Battle axe
a small knife

I was also thinking that a great weapon would be a double headed axe with an extended shaft. the two heads would have double blades. I don't know if this makes sense, but oh well.

for an axe i was thinking of a double bladed axe but on the end of the shaft there is a spear head.

That also is a good idea. I wish I could make these kind of weapons. Some of the combos you could come up with would be totally deadly.

My sword is named Narmacil. Id like to add that. Narmacil-Sword of Fire.

Nenya, the she-elf from Caras Galadon, does not carry many visible weapons. Instead, she hides numerous daggers and knives among her clothing which she pulls out when the need arises. She wears a silken gray Galladrim cloak which prohibits prying eyes from seeing her as a protection, as well as silver elven mail underneath her riding dress.

ya know what ive noticed? Nobody ever uses weapons OUT SIDE THE BOX. You either have a sword or bow or some sort of knife. If youre a dwarf you use an axe. Nobody ever uses a spear of flail of mace. I was reading them over-1 person used a mace (though i cant imagine him using it in a rp), and 1 person used both a spear and a scimitar.

no...i want someone to use a spear or lance or be a skirmisher. Something like that. How about someone make an rp character with a flail? War Hammer? MAce? Lance?

Kevin has thought about [sorry, using third person] using a Spear, but I like swords soooo much also. And i'd tried to be relistic, would, in real life or Middle-earth, carry around a sword, spear, 2long knifes, long bow and arrow and throwing knife?

thats not what im saying though. 1st in midevil times a warrior would only carry 1 weapon. No bow if you have a sword, no sword if you have a bow. Next-i mean in place of a sword have one of those. por ejemplo:

-1 spear
-small knife
-2 small throwing knives.

and another character with the sword bow and knife. In my next rp i will use a spear. Keep that in mind. The rp time is supposedly the very very beginning of Middle Ages so spears were becoming more and more common.

well i just use the weapons i think i would be best at using in real life. a spear does not really fall into that category.:rolleyes:

dont think of it like that. In real life (in mideval times) a woman wouldnt dare pick up a weapon lest she be tried for treason. In real life there would be no orcs and wizards. In real life either an entire army rode or walked, had bows or swords and spears. In real life only ancient soldiers at the very beginning of those ages weilded axes.

Greetings from Mordor honorable knights, i am a dark knight-necromancer from Mordor....
Anyway my weapons are:
1-A dark shield with the symbol of the red eye, which protects me against any weapon. Any weapon that hit the shield will grow weaker and weaker untill it break with just one blow.
2-My armor that has the same qualites of my shield and that it also turns red and it becomes as hard as mithrill
3-My long sword with the blade red as fire which steal the souls of every single warrior who dare to fight me, and that can be covered in flames making the death slow and painfull.
4-A large dagger that is cursed with a deadly poison...(only elves has the antidote)

Who would dare to fight me?

I carry a Long Sword the one i used in the fight for Scotlands Freedom.

2 knives

and somethinkg i created it is a sword with curves coming down the side of the blad with 2 blades coming off of the top of the wrist guard.

and i have bombs which i call sticky bombs, what u do is take a sock and put C-4 in it (or some other explosive) then u cover in grease (like from a car) and then u light it and stick it on your eneemy's o say shield or they're armor it works great i have blown a coat of Mithril to peices!!!!!

oh i forgot two things
my long bow an arrows
and my several rolls of Duct Tape!

I've posted this once before but what the hey, here's the "new" version:

-A Spear
-Long Sword (called Calimmacil, which mean Bright Sword)
-A Shield
-A Long Knife

*I also have a Helm and full body Mail

~I have two horses: Rohmorn and Aldor, both twin horse: black with a white spot on there forhead. They wear both light mail and leather
Rohmorn is my war horse and Aldor is my "long distance" travel horse. I mostly use Rohmorn.

-a hunting (short) bow
some of you guys, must move around pretty slow with all that armour and heavy weapons.

An elven sword forged in the grey Heaven: Called (valdor) it hangs on my side, also glow's when danger is near.

Three Daggars: one in each boot and one in my belt.

A bow and 37 arrows: which I hang on my back under my brown cloack.

A mithril vest: which I wear under my shirt

A shield:which i hang on my shoulder.


A knife:which is also in my belt.

A glass ring: which burns like fires of mordor when it touches my enemy's flesh.

A grey jewel: In which helps me regain streangth.

A Long Sword - its a blade of ancient Numenor called Maru, glows green when orcs are near

A Short Bow- with a Quiver of 48 poison arrows, given to him by the Lady of the Wood

A Hunting Knife- belonged to his father until he died in battle

Several Throwing Knives-also belonged to his father

Mithril Vest-gift from the Dwarf Marin Goldhammer

He also carries a horn that was a gift from Gondor, and a horse named Wingfoot which was gift from Rohan

Yup!:D I'm just one of those nice people who kills almost everyday. But, hey how else should I get them.

The weapons I carry are:
--------------------------------------------------------

*A bow and arrow set-My character, also named Jesse got this set from his first love. She gave it to him as a present.

*3 Knives-Jesse got these from scratch. He carved the knives out of wood and sharpened them to perfection.

*An ancient Dwarf Axe-This was a gift given to him by a Dwarf Jesse saved. He was travelling in the forest and came upon a sick Dwarf. Jesse nursed him back to health and got the Axe as a thank you.

*An ancient Elf sword-Jesse bought this sword from a shop in Rivendell. He named it "Poisonous Bite".

*A magical staff-Jesse carved his magic staff from wood from Lothlorien. He put all his healing powers into the staff. It can also send electricity shockwaves out if need be.

Plus I have an Eagle named Eisgo. He delivers my messages and watches for danger. Eisgo is a loyal bird and often flies ahead of me and if danger's near, flies back and notifies me. I also have a horse named Ginger.

Thenedor carries:

A long sword (Feanaro which is spirit of fire) This blade has a jewel embedded into it, the jewel gives the ability to see the better move of the sword

Two short daggers: which were taking from a raid on a goblin camp, no history is known of these weapons

The armour that Thenedor wears is as follows

A coat made of Hauberk
A leather vest
also he wears leather gloves and haa guards for his wrists
