I remember seeing a webcite somewhere that was detailing all the changes the movies (all 3 of them) have compared to the book. Anybody has a link?

I havent checked it but maybe its on http://www.theonering.net/ ? They have lots of info anyway.

Thanks, but its not it. the one you posted is a cite for the fabs of the movie (probably designed by New Line). The one I am looking for was done by some Tolkien fan.

That's the page. Note that they have a very general deffinition for what a change is. Also note the credibility scale, since many of the changes that are listed for TTT have 0 credibility. Finally note the quote at the top of the page, made by PJ. I think this quote sums up the movies, in one sense or another:
