What is your least favorite hobbit in the movie? If you vote for Sam I will cyberslap you and write your e-mail in the bathroom stalls at truck stops throughout America and on spam lists. I will send a virus that will shut down every computer in the world and blow up yours. Bwa ha ha ha oops sorry. I got carried away, Sam is my favorite character.

Pippen.

Because he kept on screwing up.

He reminded me of myself.

I didn't like that.

sam's my favourite too.

"Don't you leave him, Samwise Gamgee. And I don't mean to..."

that moment in the boat at the end of the film was a touching one, wasnt it? *sniff* :(
filmwise, Merry would have to be the least animated and well, the most boring, I suppose. he's my least favourite.
Pippin was the most fun character in the film, you would all have to admit it...right? pfft...always screwing up. he's the comic relief!!
no offense intended, ofcourse :D

well, that's my opinion for ya :)

sam is just a stupid, fat, annoying hobbit who couldnt help the fellowship even if he knew how to swing a sword. You notice how aragorn didnt let sam paddle. He shouldnt have.

"Pippen" is the French spelling of the name. ;)

Sam was an example of the Beautifull friendship of two people. Frodo and Sam had a special bond . Sam was Loyal and Brave and often very capable.

oh yeah, read Return of the King, and you'll notice that Sam is the reason for Frodo making it all the way up to the Crack of Doom. He's behind him all the way.

pfft.

Actually, I would have to say Frodo. Ack!

*hides from all Elijah fans*

Seriously, his character wasn't given much depth. And he wasn't allowed to be courageous or brave or anything. He was portrayed as a tiny, weak hobbit.

By the way, that scene with Arwen rescuing him really ticks me off.

i know EXACTLY what you mean. Frodo was actually quite the brave hobbit in the book.

i would have to say Frodo (not because of Elijah) but because the character is just annoying. He is very needy and he always looks worried even in the Shire after he destroys the Ring and at Araagorns crowning and things like that!! I hate Frodo hand down!!

Frodo, yuck, no one likes Frodo. I never liked the character even in the books, he is always so boring. The second part of TTT was a killer, Frodo this Frodo that.

And that Wood guy's bitten to the bone nails didn't help at all. And he was weak, and mean to Sam. And always discontent, and got to go West with all the Istari and all, what a shame.

I hate Frodo.

I voted Merry. He was a little too pointless and juevenile, though of course Pippin was too, but I think with Merry those rare flashes of half-leadership he showed made it all the more tragic. I don't remember the exact scenes well enough to give a full exposition on them (and y'all probably wouldn't want one anyway) but a lot of the stuff in TT in the Treebeard parts was just WRONG.

Yep, I gotta agree with you about Frodo. We ARE talking about the movie and the movie version of Frodo falls far short of the book version. While watching the movie I find myself saying "Frodo doesn't do/say/act like that!"

The part that pissed me off was when he was showing the ring off to the Nazgul in Osgiliath.

Sam's best line was "We're not supposed to be here Mr. Frodo!" ROTF! :D Truer words were never spoken!

Let's not even get into Frodo saying "Go home Sam!".

Out of all the Hobbits Sam was indeed the best and I found Merry and Pippin rather amusing.
