Yay for the guild of Outcasts?

The Illustrious Guild of Outcasts: for those without the talent for the guild of artists or the guild of writers, those without the nationality for the guild of Australians, those without the courage for the guild of mithril knights or the guild of soldiery, those without the experience for the guilds with weird names (the two age-specific guilds), those without the interest for the guild of politics, those without the need to show off for the guild of scholar's hall or the guild of Tolkienologists, those without the skills of the guild of tradesmen, those without the interest in power for the dork (Whoops! I mean dark!) legion or the white council. That kind of thing.
It would be for geeks, nerds, misunderstood artists so misunderstood that even the other misunderstood artists misunderstand them, the people who just don't fit in in real life.
In other words, it would be the guild for anyone here. If they deny this, then why would they even be at this site?
Anyone interested? Any Mod gonna start it for me if they are?

I predict a Real Life Rantings thread, a Misunderstood Characters thread. a Misunderstood Artists thread, whatever you want. The idea has worked before. I'm trying to remember how I first started out. You know, mostly a place for the people not content with other guilds. A guild for the guildless. Socialization. Stuff like that. Truthfully I support you Yay, but I am in the Guild of Writers and the Guild of Tradesmen (Inn Keepers branch), and the Guild of Soldiery (Rangers Brach), and the Guild of Politics... You get the general idea. I don't think I'm enough of an outcast.

Otherwise as a cat riding short human with a knack for turning things goofy and annoying Beorn and Ciryaher with post count parties I think I'd quite fit in.

As a talentless wallflower with a lifelong C+ average and the nick name of 'Will Riker' (you know, #2?), always the brides maid, never the bride, not the one you would want to take home to mother, but the other one, identifying more with Eowyn than Arwen, the one with a '2nd best friend' complex - I couldn't find any other guild where I'd fit in, so I either remain guild-less, or someone creates a guild for the leftovers and I'll join. The only reason Yay hasn't responded is that he doesn't have a computer at home and he has probably not been to the library yet. You can't expect a speedy reply from that guy in this case. From me, the addict, yes.

If you start feeling alone here, depending on what you RP as, you will either be swept up by the nice people or put down by the mean. I immediately put up a shield of helplessness and was swept in by the nice. Just be yourself... and don't be nasty. Nasty people get nasty responses. You haven't been being nasty so that's all right. Just don't try to turn to it if someone makes you feel uncomfortable. You'll fit in after awhile.

Dwarf_Lord, you sound like a really nice guy, and I am proud to sort of know you. I’ve often been disappointed that I always seemed to be second best, but over time I realized that, that status is always in flux. One day you may be someone’s best friend, then the next day they have a different best friend, or you have, or a friend abandons you, or flirts with your girlfriend, so you abandon him. Anyway. Nothing stays the same, but those whom you don’t destroy, may hang around as Long-Term Friends. Though maybe not your favorites, they are still comforting and fill your life.
Anyway, step one, of course, is to get out of the house and seek experience. Join things, take fun classes, fight for causes, join a hiking group, take dance classes, find groups through the library to join. Maybe you could even start one yourself, like a fantasy book reading club and advertise at the library.
Anyway, “You can’t always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need!” (Gosh who’d a thought the Rolling Stones would ever have been considered philosophers.)

Aye sorry all for my absence. some may have missed may, most rpobably didn't even notice, but anywho it's cause of this horrible invention they call SCHOOL! I hate learning! at least math, and health! Ugh, whats with all these government expectations. If you ask me they can go and shuv it. I doubt they know anything about the standard biology class. i have read the book. it is better than the movie in some respects but not as good in others. i rate them equally.

I have a cool version that is pretty editted down (by William Goldman). It is a cool story... though I didn't like a few of the ancronisms... anchronisms... again Elgee asks herself why she chooses to use these words!!! Things in the wrong time frame... like blue jeans. I just don't see bluejeans in that story...

i think its cool that they did a movie on a grandpa reading the book the movie is on to the sick kid. My sister has like 3 copies of that movie. I love the part where Inigo Montoya gets stabbed and keeps on saying You killed my father, prepare to die. That reminded me so much of boromir.
