The Sacred Stones

[Phenix]

ever seens they were relesed phenix had shor multiple arows agains the orcsbut now he was runing out of them and there were still many orcs left so he picked up his daggers and atacked two nearby orcs and killed them whit two quik hits. he saw nain get a hit by the cave troll in the stomach but was unable to help him couse he had been suronded by seweral orcs.

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe and her companions continued to hack away at the orcs until there was naught left but Gordoc and the Troll. As was before, part of Gordocs arm was missing, but that was about it. The troll was almost completely unharmed. Valanthe had a few bad wounds on her right shoulder and left side of her neck. Oren had a long, but not very deep cut on her back. Phenix had a deep cut on his left leg from where an orc had gotton one good shot at it, but it was in decent condition. (OOC: Where is Elu? For now I won't report his status because he seems to have left as well.....) Neothen was in great condition. A few scratches here and there, but not much else. Nain, on the other hand was not doing very well. The blow he had received made some wounds that would not have been a big deal, had they been more thouroghly taken care of, but the rags were not doing him a lot of good. However, he stared with a feisty glow in his eyes at Gordoc. Just then, Gordoc began tomove slowly towards Nain.
"Get ready for a show." Valanthe thought to herself as she readied her sword, not being able to use her bow much because of her injuries.

[Phenix]

Phenix saw that the troll was slowly alking towards them and linped over to one of the dead orcs which had a bow and toke the arows and started to fire them whit his bow agains the troll but it didn't even slow down.

[Ecthelion]

As Gordoc walked forward Valanthe was about to swing a sword when Nain stopped her short, "Kill the troll Valanthe, he's mine." Valanthe unwillingly listened and quickly joined the fight to kill the troll. Gordoc laughed harshly at the dwarf, "Tough you are dwarf I give you that, but not tough enough." With that Gordoc swung his sword which was much better then the average orc sword. Nain blocked with his axe and swung at his legs which Gordoc dodged, soon Nain was almost too tired to go on. Nain blocked again with any strength he could salvage, but Gordoc being fresh knocked the dwarf over. Gordoc laughed as he picked up his sword for the final blow. Before he could finish laughing Nain picked up a small axe on the ground and threw. The axe got Gordoc right in the shoulder. Gordoc stumbled back a few paces. Nain got to his feet as quick as his short legs would and with all his muster swung low at the orc. Howls of pain came from Gordoc as he lay on the ground with no legs and his sword to far away to reach. Nain got up and stared into the orcs dark eyes and spoke nothing. He lifted the great Axe of Tuor over his head and said softly "My name, is Nain," and with that he swung down his mighty axe and Gordoc had no time to shriek. the orcs head rolled away quietly as his neck had blood running out it like a river. Nain barely had to time to smile in victory, for soon after, he feel to his knees and then on his back and his eyes closed. Die he did not, but very close.

The farmer was working. The same thing he had done all his life. When suddenly the job was interrupted by six men that seemed to appeared out of nowhere."Excuse me,"said one of the men,"did you saw any travelers around here lately?"
"Well yeah,"said the farmer,"I saw a very unusual company five days ago... They were heading that way", and he pointed to the direction where Valanthe and the others had gone "You know they were very weird, there were elves, humans, beornings and even a green kind of thing that i don´t know what the hell...."
"Thank you, thank you" , interrupted the man,"uh thank you for your time good man."And after this the man gave him a golden coin and all six continued their way.... When suddenly when they had passed the farmer the six men returned to their real form: horrible and powerfull demons with the mission of get the stones, and stop the company. The lider was the bigger of them all, and he was an expert following the footprints of this little company.....The words of his dark master ,when he gave him this mission still sounded on the demon´s head, like music: "Find them....Kill them....and bring me the stones. Do not fail me...."

[Neothen]

* Neothen was doing very well. An orc started to run from him.*" Oh no you don't."* Neothen used his stone around his neck and turned into a boaconstrictor that was twenty feet long. Neothen went after the orc and cought him. He squeezed the orc until it exploded. Neothen hissed at the other orc and they fan. he then turned into a ram and charged at the orcs hitting them with great force.*" This is fun."

[Oren]

*Oren was trying to help the others with the troll. She ran up to it and began snaping at it's feet and legs. The trolls and came down and she bore her large teeth into it's hand. It reatracted it's hand, whiping her up into the air. She never let go...*

[ILLOTRTM]

After some work, they all kill the troll, and they're in good condition. Valanthe darts over to Nain's side and checks his pulse. "He's fine." She says out loud. "He's out colder than last night's turkey, but he's fine. He'll come to eventually." Just then, the sound of more screeching is approaching them. "Oh no, not again...." Just then, a company of six large demons enters the room. The farmer had given away exactly where they were. "We don't have Nain anymore to help us, hope we can take care of these on our own...." Valanthe thinks to herself.

[Neothen]

* Neothen was no longer having fun. The sight of the demons made him a little more serios.*" I don't think this will be a piece of cake."

[sauronbill]

´´Finally we caught up with you´´,said the demon-captain,´´we won´t be so easy as the orcs yu killed. But i am willing to give you all a quick death if you just give me the stone you have and offer no resistance...´´And the demon laughed his own joke,and all the other demons laugh with him...

[Phenix]

"or how about you walk out of here nice and silent or we'll kick your ases(sp?)" Phenix said to the demons, not understanding their powers, and layed an arow on his bow.

[Oren]

*Oren laughed to herself. She had never encountered these before and was hoping that it wouldn't take long. With no food earlier and notmuch sleep, she would not hold out...*

[Ecthelion]

Nain soon woke up in a cold sweat. He was amazed when he saw the demons and subtly scurried to a dark corner to heal as best he could. The bleeding had finally stopped, but his body was throbbing in pain. If the company could stall for awhile he just might be able to help them soon.

[Neothen]

* Neothen took out his wand pointed it at the demon.*" I warn you I will not back down to filth like you."* Neothen knew alot about demons and he was very good at fighting dimensional creatures.*

[sauronbill]

The demons were still laughing, but when Neothen stood up to them they took the thing a little bit more serious. ´´Let me present you to my friends, ´´said the captain and all the other five demons stepped forward,´´Fire, Ice, Wind, Earth, and Venom.´´He said naming them all.

´´We want him,´´said Fire pointing to Neothen,´´Earth and i will take him.´´ After this all the demons started to attack ramdomly to the company, but Neothen was being attack the most for Ice had joined his two friends. Oren was fighting like she could more getting out of the way than anything else. Venom went to her. ´´Ha, ´´he said,´´a perfect pray, big and juicy, and she seems to be brave also.´´The demon sudenlly transformed into a horrible cobra of at least 15 feet long. ´´Now you know why they call me Venom,´´said the huge cobra and attacked Oren trying to bite her or simply squeeze her. Valanthe was fighting Wind but in a momment of the fight the captain jumped in front of her. ´´Well the stones, por favor´´, he said taking out his claws....

[Oren]

*Oren was determined to kill this cobra. She had hunted them for fun before, but never this big. She bit it's tail and it let out a screach. Then she let go. It recoiled and rose up, it's long tounge flicking in and out. She lunged for it's neck. It was tough skin, but her teeth eventually sunk in. Blood dripping down it's neck, it soon became weak. She bore her teeth in tighter. Soon it fell. Death sinking into it's body. She kept a close eye on it, but was very weak.*

[Neothen]

" If thats what you want then come at me with all you got."* Neothen, took his first shot at fire. Fire flew across the room amd hit the wall.*" I don't like fire anyway."* Neothen, was about to take another shot when ice grabed him from behind. Neothen released a large amount of elecrticity through ices body.*" Don't bore me with your lame tricks."

[Phenix]

Phenix saw that the leader was trying to get the stone from valanthe and ran over to them, jumped up high in the air and landed on the demons back whit his daggers pointing down. the demon roared and thowed Phenix away and started to walk towards him. " valathe run!!" Phenix shouted as he made and atack agains the demon which was geting closer

[Ecthelion]

Phenix tried to hold back the demon, but the demon shook him off with great force. He turned toward Valanthe. She took out a daggar to defend herself. The demon laughed and lifted his hands. Nain watched in dread at what may happen, but Nain wouldn't let it happen. With all his might he lifted up his great axe and flung it. The demon turned a second to late so now he lay with half his head gone. The other demons started in awe and looked from whence the axe came. Nain staggered out with throwing axes in his hand. The 3 demons left fled in fear, but as they went Neothen blasted Earth to bits with his wand. Venom also died from blood loss. Nain said jokingly "A little help please....."

[Neothen]

" Don't be so sure demons don't die easily with mortal weapons."* Neothen was right the demon picked up his head and put it back on. The demon vanished bringing what was left of his alies.*" I hate those creatures."

[Ecthelion]

"What should we do now guys?" Nain turned to each person one by one waiting for an answer.

[Ecthelion]

OOC: Dont mean to rain on your parade but the demons went bye bye

[Neothen]

OOC: Nains right you vanished but you can attack us some other time.


IC: "I'm sure they will be back but until then take this Nain."* Neothen threw Nain some kind of liquid in a bottle.*" It will increase your healing and your strength."

[ILLOTRTM]

OOC: Oh, thanks for making me a damsel in distress :rolleyes: lol, just kidding.

IC:Valanthe looks around and smooths her hair back. "Well this has been fun and all, but we have to get to the next stone- now. Anyone know where it could be?"

[Neothen]

" What element is the next stone?"

[ILLOTRTM]

"We're looking for the Emrald of the Forest now." Valanthe looks around at her friends. "Any ideas?"

[Ecthelion]

nain drank the bottle and felt better already. He spoke to the group "Perhaps over there?" Nain asked pointing to 2 long dark tunnels,"But which do we take?"

[Neothen]

" Look for the most worn path. Because that one will lead to nothing. It may sound confusing but the stone would be gone if the most worn path was used all the time."

[ILLOTRTM]

"A good theory." Valanthe says out loud. They look carefully at both paths, and the left one looks the most unused. "Well, I suppose this would be our path....."

[Neothen]

" Lets hope this is the right way."

[ILLOTRTM]

The party moves on down the dark path. Valanthe puts her hand on the wall to catch her balance at one point, but quickly removes it when she finds that it's soaking wet. With what, she doesn't want to know. Soon they come to a large wall. "Oh no, it's a dead end!" Valanthe says. She slams her staff against it in frustration. A loud echo fills the tunnel. She looks back at the wall with curiousity. She slams it again. The sound comes again. ".... It's hollow....."

[Neothen]

" Maybe theres a lever or some key to open it with."* Neothen sarts to feel around on the wall.*

[Ecthelion]

Nain had drank Neothens potion and was feeling much better. He helped search around. He steped in a spot and his foot started sinking down, he hopped out quickly and when he looked up the door wall opened reavealing a giant forest. a voice came out of nowhere saying "Get through the jungle and you will find the stone." Nain looked confused at his companions.

[ILLOTRTM]

"Ha" Valanthe laughed dryly "This is beggining to sound like a child's game. Well, it seems we have no choice." Valanthe looks reluctantly towards the forest. "What... what are we supposed to do, anyway? Just..... cross this place? Oh boy..... there must be more to it than that..... well, *Valanthe unsheaths her sword* Let's go...."

[Ecthelion]

Nain unhooks his great axe and the group walk catiously into the forest. Nain think his sees groups of eyes here and there, but isnt sure what they are.

[Neothen]

" LANGWELLS!"* Neothen, yells, He makes a ring of fire around the groop. Insects with arms made of vines start to suround the group.*

[Ecthelion]

Nain grabs sticks and lights them with magic and hands one to each of the company. Before long the things either flee or lay on the ground in ashes.

[Neothen]

" There may be bigger creatures gaurding the stone infact I'm sure there is."

Leon releases two bolts against the tainted one. it falls to ground and another one comes towards him. he reloads the crossbows and fires two bolts aginst the other one. then two comes up on the other side of him. he pulls down his crossbows and makes a high jump of his horse. on the way down he unsheaths his sword and plunge it into the back of one tainted. then he pulls it out and chops of the other ones head. another on comes up behind him followed with an horde of them. the start showing up behind him aswell and suddenly he's surrounded by them.

"this is ****!! damn I have to get to the stone quickly. this forest is killing me... oh I shouldn't have said that out loud"
