With Ulari's departure, the Guild of Tolkienologists has floundered in a vacuum. I have decided (with Ancalagon's encouragement) to resign from the Ost-in-Edhil and take over as Guildmaster of the Tolkienologists. Here are links to the two threads that explain the Guild purpose and also provide a place to signup for membership status.

Guild of Tolkienology - Apply here!! (http://www.thetolkienforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6012)

I encourage anyone interested in all of Tolkien's works from The Hobbit, LotR, Silmarillion, UT, HoMe, Farmer Giles of Ham, Smith of Wooten Minor, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight... (well you get the picture) to apply. We will be starting threads on all of the works and discuss deeper issues. We will also be debating the other debating guilds... so there is only one requirement to membership... that requirement is that you may not belong to the Guild of Tolkien Scholars, Ost-in-Edhil or Periaur, since to do so would create a situation of torn loyalties.

So come one, come all and join the Guild of Tolkienologists.
