I sat here in the corner of the Inn


Its been a long while since the chosen peoples had come to serve master Gona On the quest for the magic cloak.

I looked over and say the dwarf, his right name I dont remeber, but he looks very powerful, and he has joined me.

And what am I, yet a small elf, born in the land of Mirkwood, I remeber when I was young, and would play in Fangorn. Oh, it seems so long ago, but I know I must come forward to serve my king, Gona.

I walk over to the others, the man, hobbit, dwarf and my dear friend the elf, and in the corner I see the ranger he pledges allegience but I dont know...

*turns around as ElvenArcher walks up and says "Hello, are we going to start on the quest or are there still more to come?"

as anamatar sat in the inn smoking a pipe he saw elven archer approach. "The road to moria is long and hard. I suggest all of our company rides horse." he said to elven archer.

[Nevavarein]

I look at Anamatar and say "Well, i have that already, but does everyone else?"

[Anamatar IV]

"Im sure you can purchase one in this town."

[ElvenArcher]

Looks over at Anamatar IV and nods,

yes my friend, we will ride, but I would like to ask the fellowship something. I would like us to stop in Mirkwood, we could train or stock on or weapons, for I would like to seek aid from the head of my order, then we could head west to Moria, if it is the will of the council.

I am sure some other people have places they'd like to visit, I really want to see my brother Jus'fot, he can help us in our journey.

Goldberry walks into the Inn and glances around. She notices a few people talking. "This must be them." she thought. As she walked closer, she recognizes Anamatar and smiles. "I hope im not late", Goldberry says as she approaches the group. "I came as fast as i could, but i didnt want Wings to go lame."

"that's fine with me. Are we gonna go right away or wait until others from the fellowship join us because we shoud get this going"

anamatar looked at archer. She seemed to be taking council from goldberry. 'i couldnt think of many better to take council from." he thought to himself. He looked at the green and red centered gem on the hilt of his sword. Then to his favorite knife. He knew the road to moria was watched. He felt his mithril hauberk under his cloaks. he knew he would do battle.

Goldberry nods, "I'd love to practice. I use sword, long bow, cross bow and knives, thought i dont carry my crossbow with me.
also, i'd say if the others arent here within several hours, we should leave."

Goldberry spots anamatar and walks over to him. "Archer and i are going to go practice before we leave. you're welcome to come, if you'd like"

*walks over to ANAMATAR*

tell me, when we head off the road is long yes, what about the stops do u have any idea if we will stop somewere, maybe Isengard, for we can rest.

(remeber this is the 5 age, so the ring is destroyed, and Saruman is dead)

"no. Although isengard has been flooded and ridden of evil the areas around it are not. The dunlanders do not like travelers." he reached for his bow on his back. "If all 9 of us has a bow we wouldnt last 1 hour under attack by the axe carrying dunlanders."

"I expected so much" Goldberry says, to no one in particular. "what of the forest? Fanghorn's Forrest? Is that too overrun with Dunlanders?"

"i have travelled in that forest. though no man lingers there it is perilous. I would not go through that forest unless there is no other way." he took a map from his pack. he started studying it.

*goldberry looks at the map over Anamatar's shoulder.* "what of Nimrodel? the river. Could we follow it?"

come goldberry, lets use our swords and practice, for i feel we need to let anamatar study, ill get my sword, though in battle i can use a bow or sword whatever u advise or whatever lets go

"yes the nimrodel would be fine." he continued to study the map. "if we wish to approach moria from the west east i would propose crossing the misty mountains and follwing the mountains until we reach the gate. Though i see no reason why we should do that. whih direction are we planning on going through archer?"

I am not sure, though I really leave the discussion up to you, for I will follow u.

'they are fighting a war in mirkwood, i believe. My friend Arathin is batteling there. but come, archer, lets practice our sword fighting.'

he is both wise and powerfull, but the growing threat of Moria, yet I would like to pass through Mirkwood, for moria raises a growing thret in my mind...

we could help Mirkwood, for if we help them they in return would help us, the mountains I do not fear, but Moria, I have been there before, and yet I almost didnt make it, if I am to go there I am happy I can go with you

Ok, lets train, for not even the wisest can tell that we are all powerful at eye we are but mere warrior but indeed mirkwood shall succeed/

"i do not need sword traing but i have not shot an arrow in ages." he was troubled though. Elven archer may not have known bu the knew the perils of crossing the misty mountains. Where orcs and wolves multiply.

"I do not fear them, we will go through the mountains, we will ride hard, and we wont look back, lets practice now.

*goes and puts the BROAD SWORD up and gets LONG BOW*

"horses cannot ride up those mountains. We can ride them to the mountains but they cant go up." anamatar bent an arrow and shot it at the target. he hit it in the center

suddenly appears next to Anamatar "Sorry ive been lost in thought" Then she drew her greatsword, seeing the others were practicing

I know, I mean about the way to the mountains, what about Mirkwood, shall we get new horses there?

anamatr fires another arrow at the target. Again it hits its center. "where are the other 3? its hgh time we should leave."

starts to practice and says "If the horses can't go up the mountain, then we will be slowed down and have to carry more up the mountain which would be harder on us."

"I do not plan on carrying much anyways. i only need food and a blanket.

"My goodness, its dwarflord, how have u been?"

"That is true i dont plan to carry much either, but my horse is the only one left of her kind, but if we have to leave her i will for the fellowship and the journey, anyway she would be up to the challenge"

"I am in good order! How have you been?" The dwarf cracked a smile, and bowed low.

"The mountains are more than just steep rock. Orcs and wargs spill out of the caves. If you bring your horse up those mountains it will be slashed and the meat will be picked off her bones."

that may be, but the mines are no place for a pony, even one as brave as yours...he'll know the way home.

Our hobbit and elf havent arrived yet, shall we leave now, do the orcs know of our mission if so we need to leave as soon as possible.

" if the beast would even make it to the mines." Anamatar collected his spent arrows and put them back in his quiver. "[rp charecter-Dwarf lord]! It has been long since i have seen you.

"I will leave her when we get to the climb, but we may have to make her stay, and hello Dwarf Lord."

"We should leave as soon as possible. I think we have tarried here far too long."

"I hope you can pardon my tardiness, but I had to take care of some buisness. What are going to set out for?" The dwarf said looking around.

"i have a horse. We will ride to the louwater river. we will cross that and go directly east untill we reach the mountains."

we are going to aid Mirkwood, because of the war. then we head east to the mountains, -without a horse- mind u lol, then when we rescue

Anamatar went back int the inn and starte collecting his things. He sheathed his sword and hooked his knife to his belt. He put his map and blankets into his pack.

"Then we can not wait if it is that urgent. I would never ride a horse if my life depended on it. I prefer the ground under my feet." Said the dwarf feeling quite out of place. everything was happening all to fast. And he wished he could get to know some of his other companions, but there was no time.

"Well let's start" she turns around and goes into the inn , gets her things and goes to the stables to get Stars ready

gets bow, and puts BROAD SWORD in hilt,

"ANAMATAR, lets go hunt some orc."

"The loudwater has bridges. We need no boats. We will cross the mountains and then aid mirkwood. Dwarf Lord-if you can keep up from here to the mountains n foot then do so."

LOOKs over at dwarf lord I shall walk with you, or run we need to keep up with the other people...u can run fast sir dwarf right

Anamatar walked outside. He went to the stable. He got onto his horse and rode to where the company was assembled. "Dwarf lord-keep your axe loose. WE will explain this mission on the way."

when she came back she says "Ok im ready" sheaths her sword checks how many arrows she has, and keeps her bow out to put on the horse

mounts her horse and turns to ElvenArcher "Are you sure you want to run too?"

[ElvenArcher]

Yes, I am sure, if he wants to run, i shall not abandomd him to tornment to death, when he runs I shall run, when u run, i shall run when anyone runs i shall run, when he rides i ride, when u ride, i ride, when anyone rides i shall ride with them, I need to catch up with dwarflord on old times anyway...

"ok then let's start"

"Thank, but I don not wish to hinder your well being. If you prefer to ride then I will not make you run. I would feel you no less a friend." The dwarf picked up his pack from his side, and strapped it onto his back.

"We should hurry if we want to be quick, Stars is getting anxious"

tries to calm Stars down while waiting for an answer

"Dwarf_Lord may ride behind me, or behind some one else, im sure." Goldberry offers as she mounts Midnight Wings, her mare.

"He really seems to not want to ride, though he could ride behind me if he wants also"

[Anamatar IV]

"Yes-it will be a long road to te mountains. You should ride with someone" anamatar said as he rode up. "Haste is needed in this quest and we cannot be hindered by foot runners. You hve your choice of 3 horses to ride on but if you ride on mine you will ride unsaddled."

"I dont usually have a saddle, but if you want to ride on my horse and if you want to use a saddle i will use one"

*walks back to the stables.*

*Unties K'lock, my black steed*

Well, Dwarf_lord, you can ride with me, saddled or not if you wish, though when we get to the river, what will we do with our horses, I really want to keep K'lock safe, on our quest, is the river evil, surely we could take them, were they can be kept safe, its all planned right Anamatar?

but I am sure "brandywine bridge" is quicker than were where going, its only 20 miles, if we were headed in that direction

Dwarf_lord is riding with me, Ill go get my horse, K'lock, though I hate to leave him...

when we get to Mirkwood, we can get new horses, and get new weapons if needed, I am sure It will be a 3 day jounrney to the other side,

"Surely I would ride with you! I would not want to hold the company up. I regret it but I will." The Dwarf watch him walk to the stables.

"we can leave our horses in rivindell. we will have no need for them after we reach imladris.'

"OK now we should start. We have postponed to long"

*L00ks at all the people in the fellowship and there steeds* let us ride, we will stop at nightfall and rest, or do we go untill our strenghth is gone.

"Let us go! there may be spies in this inn. We have spoken too loud and i have seen people watching our every move. Some with knifes. I will not spend 1 more hour here!"

"I have plenty of food, but I will have trouble getting onto this hose of yours." Says the dwarf looking at the large stead.

"we must ride at a fast pace. Archer-make sure the dwarf does not fall off. For if he does by the time we realise it we may be at rivindell." With that he rode off at a great speed with everyone behind him.

"It seems I have no choice but to ride with you good friend." The dwrf said after Elvenarcher helped him up into the saddle.

"We ride untill no strength is left in us." he called back to the other. He knew how dire haste was needed.

with the wind in the back of my hair and the sweet silence of night, i looked back at dwarflord been awile since we've done this A'?

"Aye it has good friend. Let us hope it's not the last. But I see that we are missing part of our company! Was this planned? or am I mistaken?" Asked the dwarf hanging on as the horse rode on.

"what if there was spies at the inn, Anamatar" I yelled so he could hear me.

[Anamatar IV]

"If there were spies at the inn then keep your hand close to your sword !" anamatar yelled back.

ah, yes friend i ment to tell you, we coulnt wait any longer for them

i tried to wait, we were just about to leave without you

"I am glad I made it, but I fear for those we left behind! surely they know where we are headed? If not may strength be in there hearts, and souls." The dwarf was watching the trees pass besides them. They were a blurry mess. He wished he could have walked, but time would not have allowed it.

The company rode for many minutes. They rode and suddenly anamatar halted them. They were looking at amon-sul. "I know we have need of haste but we should rest here. Some new riders like dwarf lord are very weary."

I yell

"are we going to be in time, If the orcs know of our precesnse and there waiting for us, will be outnumberd surely!!!!!"

looks back at dwarflord, are u ok, are you holding a good grip friend?

AH, yes Anamatar, the great watch tower, yet I have failed to ever see it, But yes it is just as the stories tell.

"You are right. We cannot stop here. Let us ride on." He then continued his ride at a greater speed. He was not following the road. He was making a direct run to rivendell.

[Dwarf Lord]

"I am quite fine. I can hold out for quit a long time still. I am quite enjoying the wind!" The dwarf exclaimed smiling at his companion.

Ummmm yes, we still have far to ride, yet i would like to marvel it.

Anamatar turned his head and looked at the others. They were far behind. 'Their horses must be tired.' he thought to himself. he stopped his horse and waited for the others to catch up. "Our horses are tired. But we cannot rest here. We will need to walk untill our horses can run again.'

looks back at dwarflord.


"quit glad your riding a horse with me, rather than on foot?"

"or still do you yearn for the soil beneath your boots, for I to enjoy the run with the wind, but Aye, time isnt on our side this time..

"I suggest we go until someone declares we are close enough to get there fast the next day because we wont be able to ride all the way"

[ElvenArcher]

Well, anamatar are we going to rest, what are we going to do with the horses, if we rest well lose time and walking with them is just as slow!

yet, if the horses are tired, they shood trot rather than walk completly yes?

we must keep going!

[Dwarf Lord]

"Yes, I am glad to be riding with you, but I still prefer my feet over some other beasts. If we must walk then I would be glad." Said thedwarf watching the riders ahead.

"My horse can go faster, i was just in the back to make sure no one is following us, but if you want I will walk now."

[Anamatar IV]

Anamatar lead the company on foot. Each leading their own horse. He saw the sun rise. "It is around 6 in the morning. We must stop to eat here. make no fires. A cold meal is better than cold arrows."

I am not hungary for i ate at the inn, but K'lock does need some time to stop, when everyone is done will the horses be well?

Mine will be, and I am sure dwarflord will love to run with me as I go find some berries for K'lock No?

"sure well have the whole day to ride anyways"

[Anamatar IV]

"Is anyone hungry? I can go longer with out eating and we will need to conserve our food. My horse needs food though."

[Dwarf Lord]

"Yes I would love to streatch my legs. I would also like to see the surroundings. For i have not been able to explore in this region yet." The Dwarf told Elvenarcher.

[ElvenArcher]

still if i am not to eat ill be hungry later, i shall eat, after I find berries for K'lock dwarflord care to join me

please carry your axe.

[Anamatar IV]

anamatar sat on the cold ground and started to eat some dried fruit. He was contemplated the linkliness of an attack untill they got to rivendell. As he was thinking his horse gave a loud and long neigh. Anamatar looked up and saw a pack of wolves running towards them. "TO ARMS!" he called as he drew his sword and hewed the neck of the 1st wolf to apporach.

I left Klock with Anamatar as dwarflord and I ran unto the forest, i suddenly stoped in the misds of my running, he will eat these, grab a few and lets head back...

as I ran with dwarflord i got to the clearing were we were camped, I was looking in the wrong direction, and i heard a shreiking scream of an orc, I turned to see anamatar and the crew fighting an army of 5 or 6 wolves, i looked at dwarf lord and then klock they were ok and we ran into battle

first i get my bow out and uses my arrows

Draws her greatsword and starts to fight the orcs

[Anamatar IV]

behind the wolves came 5 mountain orcs. He could not fight them alone. He reached into his cloak and pulled forth a horn. He blew 2 notes on it and then returned to fighting. He drew his knife and stabbed another wolf and hewed another head. When would the others come he asked himself.

[ElvenArcher]

as I draw my sword and fight the wolves I see that there fangs are much like that of the wolves of the Misty Mountains, yet who there could know of our prences, I yelled to anamatar who was fighting fericly
"were known!"

I slashed a wolf and ran over to help, they were almost all defeted.

[Nevavarein]

makes her way closer to Anamatar while fighting and yells "We have to go, they must know where we are heading or why we are here!"

[ElvenArcher]

orcs wering coming from the east wolves in the west i thought,this is going to be harder than I thought.

"do not let the horses go or die!"

we will need them!!

*ran over and started killing the orcs, yet one got me in the left arm and I fell over in one sharp slash I got a head, I lay there hoping someone would cover me, I thought to myself that I would be ok,

but I knew this wound would take a toll on me for the wound was deep

[Anamatar IV]

anamatar ran to an orc with a sword and started dueling. We clashed swords 3 times before a stabbed his stomach. He then stabbed a wolf who was chewing at his boot. He sheathed his sword and shot an arrow at an orc who was about to stab his horse.

[Nevavarein]

goes over to where ElvenArcher was and helped keep the orcs and wolves away

[Anamatar IV]

Anamatar sliced the head off an orc. The orcs were dead and the wolves were fleeing. "GO! Get onto your horses and ride faster than you have before." He jumped onto his horse and the company rode with wolves running after them to rivendell.

[Nevavarein]

Does as Anamatar had done while fighting

looks around as tears role down my cheeks, I tried to get up but i couldnt hold my sword, for the tears wernt of pain, they were of failure, for i knew i might not make it to moria.

I rolled my hair back and with one last breath I slashed at an ork and walked over to Klock, he was ok and I despretly tried to get the pack opend, I grapped some liquid and a scabberd, I put it on and pulled out my daggers, I will not die like this I yelled and went back to fighting!

DWARF LORD!!!!!!

I yelled for I did not see him, I jumped on my horse and despretly went through the battle field looking.

STOP ANAMATAR!!!

I yelled I didnt want to leave for where was he I had to find him, with or without the help of the fellowship

[Anamatar IV]

before the company rode off anamatar saw elven archer going back into battle. He jumped off his horse and restrained elven archer. We must get to rivendell. You have been dealt a poisoned blow. Get on klock and we will ride faster than any cavalry.

[Nevavarein]

"Anamatar what of Dwarf Lord?"

[Anamatar IV]

"i did not see him in the battle. We must find him before the wargs regroup. Archer, go find dwarf lord. We will fend off attack untill then."

[ElvenArcher]

pushes anamatar out of the way

dwarflord i see him let me go ill be back I jumped on Klock and road after dwarflord in one hand down and with all my left strength i pulled him on and told klock to ride as hard as he could to catch up and didnt look back for me the grief was still to near/

[Anamatar IV]

"We have everybody! Ride to rivendell! RIDE!'

[Nevavarein]

looked as ElvenArcher went and came back and said to Anamatar "How far is the closest healer? For we will need one."

[ElvenArcher]

as the pain in my arm grew, i could feel the poison going to my heart, for i felt weak, but i wouldnt let that slow me down i yelled for dwarflord to hold and and pushed klock on harder.

[Nevavarein]

followed quickly and caught up now next to Anamatar and his horse

[Anamatar IV]

"We must get to rivendell. We cannot wait any longer. we have 40 miles to ride. Let u sride fast and hard." With that he rode, not waiting for an answer.

[ElvenArcher]

still to weak i couldnt look back dwarflord yelled in my ear that they were running after us, his voice drowned in the rushing wind, and soon i could here the screams of revenge, i could feel it closer and closer as the poison began to make me flitch...

"Nevavarein-lead us on!" anamatar yelled as he dropped back next to elven archers horse. He took archers arm and located the wound while riding. Archer squealed with pain as anamatar put wet athelas leaves on it. 'Ride hard' he whispered to Klock. The horse had a sudden burst of speed and the wargs and orcs fell behind.

I started to fall back, the poison had worked itself almost to my heart my eyes closed, and opend repeditly and i had the reins on a loose grip I wasnt able to think, but i could almost feel dwarf lord start to shake me, for i didnt think he knew i was poisoned, for he thought i was tired and sleepy and the shakes only made me feel worse unable to stop the shakes I passed out...

"Rivendell is 8 miles away!" anamatar cried to the others. The company had just ridden over the bridge across the loudater river. They could see the ford of bruinen up ahead.

"Since i will get there shortly before you i will ask for a healer."

as the athelas had kicked in I could slowly open my eyes, I could almost see nevavarion, and someone riding with her, though it wasnt anamatar, because he was alittle head, they were riding back towards me, could she have a healer

anamatar called as he again took lead of the company. "Archer needs the skills of elrond!" they were but a few minutes from the ford. Behind them a great host of wargs had gathered. In a few minutes Elven archer would be safe.

started to come back with a healer then turns back when she heard Anamatar and went to get Elrond

as i could now see straight i could tell i was only seeing double of Nevavarion

because my hopes were so high, i began to close my eyes and watch tears flow down, all i had worked for and fought for would be lost, all of the sudden i heard anamatar yell as I heard a orc die, anamatar was protecting me i thought

indeed a cavlry of orcs was approaching. Anamatar shot an arrow through the throat of one. He dropped back to fend off the riders. But realised there was no use. He ran ahead and with everyone else crossed the ford. When the orcs and wargs tried to cross flood washed them down far away. "Get archer to elrond!"

she got Elrond to the front of Rivendell waiting for them seeing them just ahead

Anamatar lifted elven archer off klock and brought her before elrond.

the company watched in awe as elrond bent all his will to healing alven archer. Behind them the orcs and wargs were being swept away by the flood. Elrond seemed to be having quite a struggle both keeping the enemies away and stopping the flow of poison in archer.

Goldberry gets off her horse and walks over next to archer.

kills the orc and goes to the rest of the company

one of elronds elves came to the company. 'Come." he said. "you are weary and need rest. Your friend is under care of the greatest healers of all." he led the company to their rooms.

Goldberry leaves her horse with an elf and hurries after the others.

While they were walking to their rooms, i said "Anamatar, what should we do while we are waiting for ElvenArcher to heal? Should we have a meeting and we have to make it in time before it is to late."

we wait. We rest, let our horses regani strength and sharpen our blades.

"Ok." starts to walk a little slower thinking of how ElvenArcher is doing

anamatar drifted behind. He looked at elronds face. It looked desperate. The elves were handing him all sorts of herbs and liquids and elrond and the greatest healers were chanting some ancient song.

"ive got to go to my room and rest thee for awhile" Turns and walks were the elf directed her to go.

Anamatar went from his room. He walked down to where elrond was still healing archer. Anamatar asked him, "is there any hope that archer will be ready to go by tomorrow? Our presence is known and we must get on by sunrise tomorrow. If she is not well we will send an escort from mirkwood once we get here. We cannot tarry here waiting as the poisoned goes to and from death."

I Went from my room over to where Anamatar and Elrond was and asked Anamatar "What has Elrond said about ElvenArcher?"

[Anamatar IV]

he sayed that archer will not be well for many days. I think that in that time rivendell will be attacked. we may have to go on without archer. We can send an escort from mirkwood

"Oh" my voice sounded distant as though I was not there actualy i then said "How much longer till we get to Mirkwood?"

[Anamatar IV]

"we must cross the mountains. There is no knowing what we will meet there. Maybe orcs maybe wargs. After that we will fight in a battle as we get there for that land is always at war. It will take no less than 4 days,

"Ok" started to walk away towards my room when i decide to go to the front to look around

find goldberry and bolon. If we need to leave without archer we should do it as soon as possible. We rest the night and ride to the mountains at sunrise"

"i know not where Bolon is, though I do think i know where Goldberry is, i will ask around" She then walked of towards the rooms to find them.

Goldberry was getting bored of exploring her room, tired of brushing her hair and braiding it, tired of sharpening her sword and knives and tired of checking her bow. She opens the door to her room and glances down the hall, deciding to search for Anamatar, to see if there is something to do, or to find out when they'll be leaving.

I saw Goldberry coming down the hall and runs to here and said "We are going to be leaving ElvenArcher here. We will leave tomorrow at sunrise." "Just in case you want to ask him, he is with Elrond"

while anamatar was in elronds room he filled his quiver. 48 arrows. He wouldnt need them all. He wiped the blood off his blade. it was sharp enough. He checked his knife. It had a small knotch in it but nothing important. He looked through his pack. Maps, rope, food (lots), a blanket, tinder and flint. He left the room and met golberry coming towards him.

I started to follow Goldberry, but decided to get ready, and walked into my room

after she met Nevavarein, Goldberry had returned to her rooms, gathered and packed her gear, armed herself and looked for anamatar. She almost ran into him as he left elrond's room. "what is happeneing?" she demanded

After getting all my things ready i saw Anamatar and Goldberry in the hall and went to talk

[Anamatar IV]

"Elven archer is not well. Elrond cannot heal her by tomorrow. I feel that if we linger we will be attacked here. We shall scale the mountains without her and when we reach mirkwood send an escort for her." anamatar went back in and hooked his knife and sword to his belt. He slung his bow and quiver over his shoulder. "we leave at sunrise"

"what are we going to do now? We have plenty of the day left"

*goldberry sighs* I suppose you've thought well about this, and i will go with your judgement.

[Anamatar IV]

It will be many days before archer is well. our road will be watched by then. We will not make it to the top of the mountains if we wait untill she is well.

[Goldberry344]

"I trust your judgement. I am packed and ready, but perhaps others need help?"

[Anamatar IV]

"yes...bolon may need some assistance. He will need a pony that can bear him as well as more weapons than he has."

[Nevavarein]

"i agree, he does need assistance, we should go and ask Elrond to use a pony for him"

[Goldberry344]

"I'll go ask the elves if they have a spare mount for us." Goldberry offers. She fetches her money pouch out of her pack and heads off down the hall.

"I guess I should go try to find Bolon now." started to walk toward where Elrond's elves were

[Anamatar IV]

Anamatar went back into his room. He looked at his sword. It was on this sword that 1/4 of the mission hung. If it failed the mission failed. "I will not be killed untill my sword is taken from my hand!" he kissed the hilt and sheathed it again.

Goldie walks down the hall searching for an elf. soon, she finds a blonde male elf and approaches him, "Excuse me," she stamers, "I am Goldberry, and i have come here with the injured elvin Archer, and my friends. One of my friends, a dwarf, cannot ride a horse, and has been riding with Archer. We intend to leave tomarrow, without archer, and i was hoping you would have a sturdy pony for my friend to borrow. I would be willing to pay whatever you ask."
"Certainly," said the Elf, "For no favor is too grand to grant to the grandaughter of Tom Bombadil. Follow me."
Goldberry follows the elf in wonder, for she had not mentioned being related to Bombadil. The Elf led her to the stabels.

After looking awhile i decide to go tell Anamatar that i cant find him and start to head back.

"there are two mountain ponies that might service you" the elf offered.
Goldie ran her hands down the pony's legs, checking both horse's joints. "I think the Highland would service my friend best," Goldie told the elf, "He is more sturdy and could also be used for packs later on. How much should i pay?"
The elf laughed, "If the pony should survive such a journey, we shall want him back. however, if he does not, that is that. you need not pay."
"Thank you. This is indeed a generous gift. We are in debt to you."

[Anamatar IV]

anamatar walked down the halls of the house of elrond in travel clothes where he met nevaverein. "You cant find bolon can you?

[Nevavarein]

when i got back to Anamatar's room i knocked and waited. When he came out I told him I could not find Bolon.

I then go into my room to think and get some rest

The elf led Goldberry back to her friends. "The pony's name is Stoutheart. He is a good lad and shoud do well with you. My name is Lanroth, and i hope to meet you again sometime."
Goldberry smiled at the elf and knocked on anamatar's door

anamatar opened the door. "goldberry-bolon cannot be found."

Goldie stares at Anamatar. "I can ask my new friend, an elf, if he could search, but i'll have to find him. he cant have gone far."

[Anamatar IV]

"i have met some elfs here as well. We will start a search." with that anamatar ran off to some of the rooms.

[Goldberry344]

Goldie runs after Lanroth. When she catches up to him she breathlessly asks him, "Do you know where the dwarf is."
"No," he replied, astonished. "i havent seen him."
"If you see him, please tell me" ANd with that, goldie raced back after Anamatar.

[Anamatar IV]

anamatar had visited his elf friend gorherth. "Have you seen a dwarf here?" "He has not been seen by any of this house.

Goldie catches up to Anamatar, "Lanroth hasnt seen Bolon."

[Anamatar IV]

"nobody has. If we do not find him we will be 2 less warriors. I do not enjoy leaving behind uninjured soldiers.

"I dont understand where he could have gone." Goldie wonders.

[Anamatar IV]

just then an elf came running up.

"A dwarf has been found in the ford. He has drowned."

"a look of pain came over anamatars face. "So then there were 3" he said turning to goldberry.

Goldberry stood in shock. "I dont believe it." she stammered. then she straightened herself and said, "So, should we keep the pony as a pack pony or not?"

we cannot bring it up the mountain so i dont see why we should.

I suddenly woke up and ran to where Anamatar and Goldberry where and saw the looks of pain and grief on their faces and knew "Who do we have to leave behind now?" I said in a barely audible voice.

Goldie looks at Nevavarein quickly then whispers, "ill go tell the elves we dont need the pony". she runs off down the hall

the next morning dawned bright. Though the sky was bright the remaining companies moods were dark. They were leaving behind two loved members of their fellowship. The elvs gave them a large breakfast ad the company rode off. "we ,ust ride fast." anamatar said. They rode like the wind.

they rode on for many leagues, and many miles. Eventually goldie reined her horse down to a trot and a walk. she waited for the others and said, "I feel we may have gone off course. i havent seen anything for a long time"

"It matters not what course we take. We make for the mountains. Allways towards them. But we mustnt slack our pace. We need to ride fast. It is only 20 miles to the mountains."

[Nevavarein]

"I agree Anamatar, we have to make it in time Goldberry."

[Goldberry344]

"alright." goldie kicks her horse into a gallop

[Anamatar IV]

after a little over an hour of riding they came to the base to the mountains. "Here we let our horses back to rivendell." anamatar said. "We climb these mountains warily. Im not sure if you see it but away in the distance wolf riders run up and down the mountains. Keep your hand near hilt and arrow bent."

[Nevavarein]

"OK" I then dismounted Stars (or Gilaswen) and cchecked that i got everything.

[Goldberry344]

Goldie slowly dismounts Wings, unstraps her bow, quiver, and packs from her saddle and takes off her mare's bridle. She puts the bridle in a spare saddle bag, gives her mare a carrot and tells her to go back to rivendell. Wings trots back, but stops and waits for the other horses before she canters off.
Goldie walks to the base of the mountain and sits, waiting for the others to get ready.

anamatar was watching as his horse ran back to rivendell. "Lets go."

[Nevavarein]

"OK" Starts to walk up the Mountain

[Anamatar IV]

the 3 travellers labored up the mountain side. There were few paths and they dared not tread them for they were used mainly for orc travel. They had gone maybe half way up when nightfall came. They made camp but noone slept. Anamatar saw dark figures moving past. He did not loose his arrow for they were great;y out numbered. He whispered to the others "tomorrow we will camp at the summit."

[Nevavarein]

"Ok, if we dont have to face any danger and get there by nightime."

[Anamatar IV]

"if we do not reach it by nightfall then we risk hiking in dark. this side of the mountain is perilous. The other side has been drained of life for the wars. If we reach the summit before nightfall we do not stop for rest." Anamatar would say no more. He rubbed his finger softly down the blade of his sword. He saw in the dark. Dozens of orcs and wargs gathering. They had assembled a few levels down. he knew that they would not get to rest on the mountain. The wolves would charge at the break of dawn herded by the orcs. Anamatar knew how the mountain filth attacked.

I also heard and saw the orcs and Wargs and kept my hand on the hilt of my greatsword

goldie was aware of their presence, but didn't bother to react. if the need arose, she could shoot her bow in the blink of an eye. the party truged on upwards, even as the sun began to set.

[Anamatar IV]

anamatar climbed in front. Night was falling. They would reach the summit within minutes. The company suddenly came to the top. The looked about all the lands around the mountains. Away east to mirkwood a great battle was going on in the gladden feilds. To the west orcs and wolves were slowly gathering. Away south they could see orcs charging into a battle at dol guldor. Every way they turned they faced war.

[Nevavarein]

"Which way should we go?"

[Anamatar IV]

"We cannot rest here-the orcs coming from the west would find us. The orcs seem to be routing the battle at dol guldor. I say we go down to the gladden feilds. We'll reach them by morning and fight. We loose every arrow and stain our blades with orc blood." with that anamatar started hopping down the mountain with sword drawn. His sword would taste orc blood before morning. He didnt know about the other 2 but he was going to crash upon the battle feild under cover of nightfall.

Goldie fingers the hilt of her sword, smirking. she followed anamatar down the mountain.

[Anamatar IV]

The 3 had reached the half way point down the mountain by 2 oclock. They could hear the orc screams and elvish war calls. They continued on downward.

started to fight, killing orcs, sometimes two at a time

[Anamatar IV]

anamatar leaped from the 6 foot cliff and toppled over 11 orcs. While he was on the ground he plunged his sword into an orcs neck he then jumped up and cut the head off another orc. He turned and saw goldberry and naverein fighting. One with sword another with arrow. The orcs were taken off guard. They hesitated. They knew not wether to kill the travellers or defeat the elves. The elves caught this hesistation though and charged with full might. The orcs were dismayed. Many fled.

[Nevavarein]

while the elves were charging, i killed 10 orcs while they were off gaurd. i got a cut in the arm, but that did not matter. it was small. i fought and did not give up, the elves were gaining upon the orcs.

[Anamatar IV]

the orcs were trapped. They could either face the fury of the 3 fighters or the wrath of the elven army. INstead in fighting most fled into the mountains. Anamatar stabbed one orc through the stomach and hewed another head. Orcs no longer stood to fight. they ran. As anamatar sheathed his sword he bent an arrow and shot the last orc fleeing into the mountains in the back.

[Anamatar IV]

anamatar walked over to the orc and pulled out the arrow. He stuck it back in his quiver. As he turned around he saw numerous arrows pointed at his head. The same happened to goldberry and navevarein. The elves bound the three and brought them before their king. "Lord of mirkwood" anamatar said " is it the custom in your land to make prisoner of those who aid you in war? We have fought valiently and stained our cloaks with orc blood and you point arrows at us."

Goldberry sighs, wipes off her sword and sheithes it. She walks foreward, through the nest of arrows pointed at her and her friends. she walks up to the commander of the army and bows. He is clearly shocked by Goldie's nerve, but she smiles and says, "Lord, we are at your service. if you wish to imprison us, tell us why, please. and if we are to be imprisoned for a valad, unavoidable reason, we shall not need these arrows pointed at our heads."

Goldie stares into the lord's eyes, he looks away and orders his followers to lower their bows. He then looks at goldie. he speaks in Quenya, "Follow me, i will take you to my overlord, he will be able to explain things more fully"

Goldie looks at the others and translates, they follow the elf off the field.

[Anamatar IV]

as the elf led them through the forest they reached a great elf. He was clad in bright mail and a white cloak. He held a sword in his hand. The elf spoke with him in sindarin. "O great elf lord" said anamatar knealing. "Why have we been threatened under bow? We have crossed many perils as we crossed the mountain and aided you in battle. Never before have i seen such behavior to such as the likes of us. all three of us have some elvish blood in us." He stood up. "I am anamatar lord of the men of numenor." at this remark the great elf took a step back. He realised theat indeed they had imprisoned some of their old kindred from ancient years.

"The others," the lord demanded, "who are your companions?"

Goldberry stepped foreward to introduce herself. She bowed low and said, "i am Goldberry, I am the granddaughter of Tom Bombadil and Goldberry, daughter of Amroth and Lenora. i am honored to meet you."

Goldberry then steps back to let Nevavarein speak.

[Anamatar IV]

Anamatar was then standing. He watched as goldberry bowed. He saw one face in the group of elves that was strange. He had seen it before but where. Their eyes met and they knew eachother but did not know from where. 'Jus'fot' he thought to himself.

[Anamatar IV]

navevarein introduced herself. The overlord spoke. "We have been ordered to take prisoner of any strangers. We have delt with treason in this war and have payed with blood. We cannot accept any to the army." anamatar replied " but lord, we wish not to aid you in war for we have already done so. We are on a mission and we would like your aid instead. In this time i know it will be hard to lend us warriors but...maybe another of our company could explain it easier. We have left an injured elf at rivendell. We need a wain to go get her. She will explain all that you must know. Until then we will aid you in war." the overlord pondered these words. "We will send a wain and will accept your aid. You have fought valiently and should be rewarded."

[Nevavarein]

I then stepped forward, and said "Thank you lord." and I bowed in front of him, and then stepped back in front of the others

the overlord led the three to the stable. There they watched a wain ride off towards the gap of rohan. it wouldnt come back for days. They were shown to their rooms. "We will be attacked by wargs tonight. We always are. i wouldnt sleep being so close to the mountains." With that the overlord left. Anamatar fitted an arrow and sat back.
