It does seem kinda strange we don't have our own section, I mean, look at things like The Guild Of Soldierery, when was the last time anyone posted there!?! Seriously, they should give us a section because we have at least as many members as the active Guilds, but hey, I'm not a Mod!

3 things:

1-I know that all of the main users in this guild have pmed BOTH the webmaster and the mods.

2-the mods DO NOT make that descision. Its up to the webmaster whether or not he wants to pay that extra money for our extra space.

3-The mods already told us that we were a nuisance, that they could do nothing, and that we were annoying.

Ok, as for us being a nuisance, I agree, we kinda are. We have no guild purpose; we haven’t done anything relating to Outcasts, and basically have this giant spam thread. I know I’m being a bit hypocritical right now-I’ve added the sillyness. But I mean, if we continually send PM’s, the WM and the Mods will only get annoyed and will eventually shut us down.

None of our polls are really relating, what does the guild drink and logo have to do with being an Outcast? I have an idea for a topic related poll/thread; ‘Who is the Biggest Outcast in Middle Earth and Why?’ Don’t get me wrong, I love the sillyness and laid back attitude here, but maybe we could confine it to one thread, close the polls, use what’s currently winning for our decisions and get organized?



Blarg! Being blonde doesn’t make one dumb! If one thing irks me in the world it is the blonde stereotype, yes I play into it sometimes, but it is getting a wee bit annoying! I am blonde and proud of it! Not to mention that I have an exceedingly large vocabulary. ;)

speaking of injuries, i woke up this morining and i couldnt move my neck. now i can move it to the right, but i cant look up, or over my left shoulder. that is not good. i play field hockey goalie, and i must be able to look at the ball in order to block it. *cries*

on a happier note, i had a horse show saturday, though it was raining. it was indoors, there were 7 contestants, and i won a second, a second, a second and a fourth. *grins* not too shabby.

ya know goldie the same thing happened to my arm during the summer. I had just pitched 5 innings in little league (5/6 of the game). i went to bed nd the next morning I couldnt bend my elbow. The good thing was that I won the game! :D

wanna hear something real painful? My 3 most painfull experiences:

1---once I was playing tag with my friends so I was walknig on my knees so the guy wouldnt see me. Well he saw me so I shot up and ran as fast I could to the base. When I got there i looked at my knee. Blood was dripping down it and a peice of skin was lifted up by a wedge of glass. *shudders*

2---My 1st time skiing I got off the lift and fell down and stated sliding down the hill. but that wasnt painfull. what was painfull was when someone skiied over my hand.

3---When i was 4 ther was this really nifty root above a little rock ledge thing (hard to describe) so I would do pull ups on it. Oneday it snapped and I bashed my head open on the rock. BEAT THOSE! :p

*1 one time Ifell out of a tree, and scraped of all the skin on my left arm from my wrist to my elbow. it was yellow, pimply, painful, and looked like chicken skin! :p

*2 I lost control of my bike, flew off it, and cut my knee on a rock. it was such a deep cut there was just like a centimeter of stuff keeping me from being able to look at my kneecap! how's that for painful? ;)

*3 one time I fell down three stairs and hurt my knee so bad I nearly broke it!

*4 the one I have right now: my cat tore up my whole right hand and my right arm all the way up to my elbow

*5 while playing soccer I nearly broke my ankle. don't know how, but I did

*6 nearly drowned twice!

*7 nearly broke my nose once(got it in the face by a baseball--yes, baseball. not softball!)

so nah!

Ill beat you all. ;) I was riding this horse on a trail (I was rather a begginer at the time) and he starting bucking, bunny hopping, and rearing. I fall off, go boom, hit my head on a rock, black out, cant see when Im awake again, and find that I have a concussion. =( Wasnt fun.

Speaking of injuries and horses, I'm going on a hunter pace this sunday. *Pales* Only Goldie and Arathin know how much of a wuss I get about jumping. *Pales once more* Why do I sign up for these things? BTW-i think I know what caused your neck to be stiff. If you slept with your neck twisted (even the least bit) it would be very stiff. I slept on my thumb tons of times and it winds up the same way. And since you neck is a bigger joint it makes sense that itd take a while longer to unstiffen. Just a thought.

yeah its happened dozens of times. It hursts when i move it when i wake up. You see what happens is i sleep ontop of my thumb sometimes so I like twist it around. Hurts in the morning.

ooh! This is painful. In gym they had us play capture the flag outside so I was runnin' running' runnin' when all of a sudden this GIANT just comes and RAMS ME OVER!!! Im talking twice my height and twice my weight!!! I went flying!!! Needless to say I stayed clear of him for a while. A few things that hurt but goes around school as much as pencils are these:

Dead arms. A literally DEAD arm for a few minutes.

When people take you hand and press down really hard in that spot between your 1st finger and thumb.

When people take a pen and drive the blunt end into the center point of your back

When people flick your ears

When people grab the back of your neck really hard.

well when you think about how if you press hard enough for enough time you would become paraalized from your elbow down I guess it hurts a bit more. Yeah they intorduced the pressure points to all the kids at school last year. BIG mistake.

its not all that bad. the only thing a post count does is put you on top10. the think that REALLY "matters" is the quality of your post. and your matuiosity.

Well I think I have a few of you beat in the painful injury department. See I fell off a bike, broke my right wrist, and skinned my left knee and left elbow to the point that you could see a two inch circle of white bone on the knee and one and a half inch circle of white bone of the elbow. I had to go to surgery for the wrist. I got a metal pin stuck in my wrist and then removed later. I was awake when they removed it. And they didn't do a thing to like maybe sow up my knee or elbow. I was in such agony.

Mater: the pressure point between the thumb and 1st finger actually relives tensions in the neck, shoulders, and upper back if you hit the pressure point. and that is coming from one of my bosses, whom has a doctorate in chinese pressure points. so ha!

Yes, it's the quality of the post that counts, not the number of them. I'm not really all that bothered about the new system, perhaps it will discourage some people in S&B from posting completely useless posts. Oh, and I'm very matuios :D

My school had this British theatre exchange program. Unfortunately I wasn’t accepted (bloody theatre teacher...), but British people came and today was their last day here.

So yes I, of course, practically run up to a rather cute British Boy and say "Uhm, could you do me a really big favor?" To which he replies, "Of course." I then ask "Could you say Bloody 'ell?" and HE DID! And Smiled. I then went on babbling about how that made my day for about a week and proceed to all but skip away. *Girlish Giggles* Now, I would have started up an actual conversation, but the person he was with wasn’t exactly my cuppa’ tea, oh pooey.

My post count doesn't bother me as much as it used to now, but when I logged on today I saw it had gone down from 191 to 123, I did happen to be rather annoyed, as you may expect. Is suspect the Mods have gone through lots of old posts and deleted them.

Yeah, well, I haven't really been bothering with post counts either, but at the stage I'm at, when you have 1 or 2 hundred posts, 70 can make quite a difference respect wise. I mean, the more posts you have, the more you're likely to be respected and believed. You know what? Post count doesn't affect how much you're respected or believed on the forum. You might think I say that all nice and cozally with all my posts (I really don't look at how many, it sickens me) but that isn't why I say it. When I first started here, I was as respected and believed as I am now. The only difference was that less people knew me around the forum, and people weren't coming to me for help around the forum. Now I am just as respected as then, but I have posts to say that I have been on here for a long time. I just posts way to many places for my own sanity. that is why i have a huge post count, but that takes time to build. I have been on here a long while, and just post around. Now i just sorta stick to a few select places to post at. Just ignore the post count. It really isn't at all important.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from there, Arathin. I also don't look at other people's counts now, I see a name and I know whether or not they're a reliable source. I was more refferring to someone new. They're more likely to listen to someone who has obviously been around a lot, than to someone with a low post count, like me, for example. Anyway, I'm over it now, I was just a bit annoyed when I was in Computing today and saw it.

Sorry for interrupting, I know I'm not a member or anything. I haven't read the previous sixty-something pages, but I'll have to say that YayGollum's guild vision sounds so dam' beautiful. Founding an official "Little Guy's Support Centre" ;) is a great idea. (Yelling newbies "Read the book/search the forum archives" is certainly not the the way to make them wish to stay.)

Hm, and it would be nice, if people who aren't really "regular standard issue members", would have their own hang-out place (the-bar-where- no-idea-is-too-crazy-to-say-it-out-loud) :D
