RPG #53 The Cries Unheard - Disscussion Page

[Elbereth]

I will be developing a new RPG soon, which will not only explain why a Valar such as myself has come to Middle Earth...but it will also explain the whereabout of the Missing Blue Istari, Alatar and Palando.

The story will begin a year after the War of the Ring. It will end in the present rpg time. The plot will incorporate both old RPG plots from the threads in Prancing Pony, the Goverment RP's and the war threads. Some of you may be asked to join the RPG to play your current RPG character or to take on new and interesting characters to come.

So far the main characters are:

Here's the character I'll be playing.

Name: Moriarrna (Quenya for Dark Storm)
Gender: Female
Race: Elf
Age: 2500 years old

Weapons: Bow and arrow, hunting knife, poison darts

Appearance: She is tall and slender, with long black hair that hangs in a single braid down her back, and stormy grey eyes set in a pale face.

History: Born in the woods at the foot of the Ered Luin (Blue Mountains), her parents were killed by Sauron's minions when she was young, so her grandmother took her in and raised her. Possessed of a wandering spirit, she soon left the shelter of her grandmother's home and wandered the West coast of Middle Earth around Forlondin and the Ered Luin for years. During her time in the wilderness, she became hardened and tough.
Her skill with the bow was exceptional: she could hit nearly any target she wanted to.

Appearance: Stout and broad, with a forked and braided beard, firey red hair with streaks of white, and deep blue eyes. Wears a gold-hued hauberk with his helm and roundshield.

Ok guys...keep up the great work.

So far...we have Elbereth and Yavalda (Hempdread) at Cirdan's lighthouse atop of Tower hills.

The Mariner and his steward will be departing from the Grey Havens without Cirdan. For the next few posts ...Elbereth will be unconsious...so I will be playing Cirdan instead.

Anyone interested in coming into the story...please PM me with a character you would like to play. If you can't think of a character...please also let me know...because I will have characters popping up all the time...so your participation will be greatly appreciated.

In the next few posts, I would like us to push this rpg along.

I think it would be best if Yavalda, begin his journey abroad, as soon as possible. I will also be reviving Elbereth very soon, but she will be very weak and in Cirdan's care for the remainder of Chapter 1.

Once Yavalda departs from the Tower Hills, I want Moriarrna to enter into the story. This should play a very pivotal role in the first half of the story and be the guiding force in Elbereth's quest in finding the missing Istari.

So therefore...by the end of Chapter One...we will see three stories going on at once...Yavalda's first journey's in Middle Earth, Elbereth's recover and fateful discovery, and the Tale of Koldhram Onyxhelm, Lord of the Silver Hill.

(PS...if any of you feel that you need to invite someone into the rpg to help your stories along...just let me know)

This may sound complicated now...but eventually the tale will all fall back together. I am confident you all can make this happen.

I will be editing my last post. I need to move my character to Forlindon much quicker, so that we may move this story along. So instead of traveling by horsedrawn carriage, Cirdan and Elbereth will be traveling by boat to the shores of Forlindon.

Many appologies for not posting in the RPG for awhile...you all know my reasons. However, I will try to pull something together so we can move on.

I also want a casting call for some new characters...I really want the plot of the story to pick up here.

Name: Chokang

Age: 208 Years

Gender: Male

Species: Dwarf

Place Of Dwelling: Iron Hills

Weapons: Double Bladed War Axe (primary), Bearded Axe (secondary), Warhammer (rarely carried), Several Throwing Axes.

Appearance: Dark red hair, with a forked beard, Stubby nose, Scar above left eyebrow, Grey eyes, 3'9" in height, Dark brown cloak (with Hammer & Anvil brooch), mithril vest underneath a red and brown long sleeved shirt, Dark brown pants, brown overcoat, which is fastened with a large belt, with a hammer&anvil on the buckle.

Armour: Golden helm (similar to Gimli's in PJ's LOTR), black heavy boots with steel soles. Steel/chain-mail arm and leg armour.

Family: Son of Dwalin and Fíp, Brother of Throkang and Dokang, Nephew of Balin, Grandson of Fundin.

History: Chokang was born in the year 2931 of the Third age, the second of three brothers. For the first 12 years of his life, he lived in the Blue Mountains with his Father, Dwalin, his mother, Fíp, and his two brothers.
In the year 2941, his father took part in the quest to retake Erebor. And two years later, Chokang and Fíp traveled to Erebor to join Dwalin.
Chokang dwelled in Erebor for 52 years, and spent the majority of his time in the blacksmithery as an apprentice.
After Chokang became bored of his simple lifestyle, he moved to the Iron Hills and took on the position as his father's messenger (Dwalin became the King Dain's representative in the Iron Hills). This task involved many travels between the Blue Mountains, Erebor and the Iron Hills, and because of this Chokang became well acquainted with other races of Arda.
In the year 3008, Chokang was waylaid by a patrol of two dozen orcs in the High Pass but managed to defeat them single-handedly, although he was seriously wounded in the conflict. He managed to make his way to Rivendell to recieve treatment, but he did not receive the accolades that he thought that he should deserve from the Elves after such a feat. Ever since then, he severely disliked Elves and their ways.
Chokang continued his travels until the Battle Under The Mountain. Chokang fought valently beside his father and brothers in the battle, and was given the title 'Dual Axe' after he hewed orc heads two at a time whilst holding two axes with great strength.
After the Battle, Chokang continued serving Thorin III.

Personality: Humorous, Lazy at times, Loves his food, but fierce in battle. Avoids Elves where-ever possible. Distrusts Men and their habits until he gets to know them. Fond of Hobbits.
