[Neothen]

Canan looked at the Hobbit, "I havent had very good company lately so if you don't mind then I would like you to share your story with me." Canan takes a seat on a nearby bench. Neothen looks at Canan in an annoyed way.
"If you get into a conversation then we'll never leave."

[Anira the Elf]

Lir laughs at that, but is still in Will's arms. Still hugging him, she says - You can tell your story on the way. We must get going. Something still doesn't fell just right. I think we will head East. Do not ask me why. It just feels right. *pauses* -So I guess we're off- Will ounts his black stallion and Lir not knowing where he own horse is, also gets up behind him (;) :p )

Pudd smiled and start to follow the group.

"Were would you like me to begin Canan" said Pudd.

[Neothen]

"Start where you left home on your search." Canan said walking beside the Hobbit with Neothen infront of him.

Very eager to hear Pudd's story Liriel reined her horse in close so she could listen...

nev whistled for her horse and whn she came, mounted her. As Pudd was beginning to tell his story nev listened to Pudd and also listened around them to make sure no one was following them.

IC: Nev. looked around at everyone. They were all listening and searching at the same time. then nev. looked forward and saw a darkish entrance in a mountain to the left, she said "Hey, everyone, look at this." while pointing at the entrance.

OOC: Ok. Sounds cool. Um...I've noticed alot of rp's around here have discussion threads. Could we do that?

oc: sorry i having internet problems at the moment. We've just got broadband and stuff and where having problems. Im still in just give me sa few more days.

My sister went missing a while back while we were in buckland forrest. I've been looking all over for her and to be honest ive given up hope.

The company entered the cave and saw a female hobbit lying unconcious on the ground. "Clengwen!" shouted Pudd, running to his sister. "I don't believe it...yet it's really you! Clengwen?" He felt her face with the back of his hand. She was still as stone and cold as death, but still breathing. "What's going on?" Pudd whispered to himself.

[Neothen]

"Stand back," Canan said walking over to the hobbit laying on the ground. He looks at her skin then feels her pulse. Canan looks around. He walks to the wall of the cave and examines the rock. "This is lime stone, it kept her soul within her body for the time she was here. She will be fine, she just needs warmth and food." Canan ordered Neothen to pick the hobbit up but when he did the hobbit awoke.

[Nevavarein]

nev. looked around the cave. It was quite unusual and quiet. Also, there was something about it that just made nev. nervous and she suggested that they at least go outside.

[Anira the Elf]

Lir full heartedly agreed. Even to her this cave had a bad aura about it.

OOC: i will start a disscussion thread if you want me to. Do you think we need one?? IF so i will.

Just as they went out, they found they were just in time. Right after the last one ws out of the cave, the ceiling or the cave tumbled and the company hardly dared to think what wouldve happened if they stayed in there

Clengwen's eyes opened to half-mast. She stared up at Neothen, who was holding her, trying to focus. She tried to speak. "Wha...what...wh...where am I?" Suddenly she was aware that she had a splitting headache. She feebly put her little hand to her forehead and groaned.

[Nevavarein]

nev. looked over at neothen and clengwen and noticed that she had a major headache. Nev. the went over to her horse got a packet and brought it over to clengwen and gave her a peice of what was inside it. the headache was gone, but she was still weak

Just then a scratching noise was heard everywhere. The noise was becoming louder and louder. Just then several creatures(more than 10) came out from under the earth. They looked like scarabs, except that they were huge. Almost as big as a man. They're bodies covered in a dark exoskeleton as hard as steal. They're heads were horrible and their black insect eyes gave them an even more horrible aspect. They were standing in two large black legs, and their insect arms were as sharp as a sword. The bigger of them managed to transform his insect noises into words:
"Her.....ruhh, ruhh,"and he pointed to Clengwen,"ruuhhh, ruhh....Her .....ours....ruhhh ruhh, give back..... to us....ruhh, ruhh...."Then the rest of the scarabs started to make even more horrible sounds and to sharp their insect-arms making a metal noise. They were ready to attack, if the company didn't gave them Clengwen back, they would eat them all....

[Neothen]

Canan pointed his white staff at one of the scarabs. He did not want to take any chances so he shot his most powerful spells at the creature. Neothen put Clengwen gently on the ground and unsheathed his sword in order to guard her.

The bigger of the scarabs fell to the ground dead from Neothen's magic. The others were surprised at this. Before that no other human had been so powerful. The scarabs made an even louder noise and 8 more scarabs came from under the ground. Then they heard another scratching noise and three maggots came from under the ground to join the fight. Maggots are large arthropods that looked like spiders,except they arent. They look more like somekind of big termite, except that their skin is yellow. They also were almost as big as a man, and their bites are poisonous. William took out his sword(they gave him one in the city), and jumped toward the first scarab.
"I knew this would be a bad night,"he said at the time he gave a blow toward the head of a scarab. But the sword didn't even scratch that bone of steal. William was surprised." Really bad night," he said at the time that he jumped back to Liriel afraid, but ready to die if necessary. The sun was setting now, as the insects aimed toward the company.....

[Neothen]

Neothen did all he could to protect the hobbit by using his sword as a shield. Canan was overdoing himself with his abilities. Though Neothen had seen this before from Canan the others hadn't seen someone quite like him.

[Nevavarein]

nev was also fighting with her sword to protect the hobbit and at the same time using her stars magic so every once in awhile, the others would see a flashing white light and a couple of creatures in front of me would fall dead.

Standing back to back with William, Liriel quickly unsheathed her scimitars (Spark and Storm) and reverted her eyes to infravision / heat vision. Her first attack was easally parried. The scarab grinned wickedly thinking it had the upper hand over this slight, ebony elf. But that was were he was wrong. Quickly taking note of the scarabs holes in his attacks, Lir launched herself into another wild asault on the creature. She parriend the first attack with Spark and held the blades off. Then in a split second she brought Storm up in the crevice betwen the creatures head and abdoman armor. The blade sliced cleanly through and the creature didn't even have time to scream. Bouk looked at her amazed. - It looks like your day might just get better, m'dear.-

[sauronbill]

"Perhaps,"said William trying to defend himself from a scarab. William waited the right momment, and then it striked the scarab between his chest and his stomach. The scarab did somekind of scream and fell dead to the floor. "I think it might just improve,"said William satisfied, but he didn't saw the maggot that was right at his side waiting for the right momment. The maggot grabbed William's leg and pulled him away from the fight and into one of the halls that the maggot had made to come out. William screamed but there was nothing he could do, the sword had fallen from his hands and he was becoming dizzy by the effect of the poison. The maggot took him to his cave inside the mountain....

[Neothen]

Canan saw William disapear into the cave and he ran to the entrance. Canan materalized two white snakes from then tip of his staff. He hissed at them and they scurried into the cave. "That's all I can do," Canan said looking back at the company. "I can sense the snakes and I can follow them. We will just have to finish this battle then find him."

[Anira the Elf]

-No!!- Lir screamed, as she saw Will being draged off. That just made her fight harder.But try as she might she could not get to him in time. She was somewhat relieved when she saw Canan release 2 white snakes into the cave enterance. Still, something didn't feal right....

Nev. had watched the maggot take william and lir scream and canan sending the snakes off and felt the same uneasiness about the whole thing. As she was fighting off the scarabs and other creatures, she saw a maggot come out of the place where william was taken into and stay there, watching the battle before its eyes so nev went over to it and started to fight it. but, it was much harder to fight off because they mustve sent the strongest watchmaggot they had to keep us out of there.

After killing many scarabs and maggots, Lir finally got to the mouth of the cave. She screamed into it. she was hoping ot get a reply. anything...

Nothing happened, nothing was heard. Not even an echo. The inmense cave was a great tunnel that divided itself into several tunnels going in all directions. These unusual big insects had constructed their hive under this mountain. Luckily the two snakes that Canan summoned followed the maggot untill the end of one of the tunnels. The end of the tunnel turned out to be a big cave where the queen of the maggots was.....

William woke up. He didn't know how much time he had been sleep, or if he was alive at all. Suddenly he started to feel everything around him. His eyes recuperated the vision and he looked around. He and many others humans were in the walls of the cave tied up by somekind of spider-web, but it was completely different. Still he couldn't move at all. The human right at his side was nothing but bone and dust and nothing else. William looked up, and there in the center of the cave was an incredible huge maggot(at least 4 times the size of a man), resting on the ground. It seemed like she couldn't move, but all around her dozens of maggots seemed to look for something. Or were they guarding her?
"Who knows what these insects are up to", thought William. The problem is how do i get out of here. William observed his surroundings more carefully. Also the huge maggot couldn't move she seemed to have a special sleeping-spore gas thing that she released toward her prays that were surrounding her. William understood everything before he went to sleep in just a few seconds. He was going to be eaten by the queen, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon. If his friends didn't hurry he would be literally, bug food......

[Neothen]

Canan walked to the entrance of the cave. He listened and studied the air that flowed out. "The snakes havent been killed, it seems that these insects won't kill animals. Neothen you know what to do." Canan said. Neothen nodded, he then took out the small stone around his neck and transformed into a long boaconstrictor(SP). Neothen disapeared into the cave. Neothen was guided by Canan's instructions and the white snakes infront of him.

[Nevavarein]

nev. watched as neothen went into the cave posing as a snake and Canan guiding him then offered to change herself into an animal, which every stars elf could do (but only one, which was a white swallow)

[Neothen]

"You can if you want to and you can bring back news to keep Liriel calm." Said Canan.

[Nevavarein]

"ok" suddenly nev looked up there was a blinding light for a second then when it was over they saw a white swalllow instead. it flew into the cave where neothen had just gone in and william had been taken.

[sauronbill]

Canan was right, the maggots didn't attack any animals. And they left the snakes follow them all the way. But for some reason they felt that the big boaconstrictor and the white swallow, were something more than animals. Before Neothen and Nev. get in into the middle tunnel that connected all the other tunnels, they found a very hard resistance of dozens of maggots, (some of them even bigger than the ones that attacked them), that aimed at them to protect their queen.......

[Nevavarein]

nev. looked in horror at the maggots and used her skill which she had learned when she used to live in Stars to fly around the Maggots' heads and farther in the tunnel, and as nev did that, they tried to catch her which stopped them from watching neothen and allowing him to get by.

[Neothen]

Neothen felt that he should have wrapped around the maggots and let Nev pass, but he was already on his way and he was not going to go back.

[Nevavarein]

nev. kept on going using flying to an advantage, and making sure to keep neothen in sight. Then Suddenly they got to a room where the Queen was, and William. She could not see us but she could sense us coming from the entrance.

As soon as the Maggot queen felted that her lair was being attack she started to throw her special sleeping spores all around her, if they entered the cave they will surely fall sleep. Also she gave a large roar that wake up William. The roar brought dozens of spiders , scarabs and maggots to protect her.The insect newcomers were inmune to her spore, and they aimed at Nev first...........

nev dodged the attacks and saw that the queen had thrown the sleeping spores all around her and knew what they did to anyone if they came in nev went over to neothen so they could fight together but it was a lot harder being a bird, and neothen, a snake, so nev chirped to neothen, if they could turn back to fight the maggots because it was way too hard to fight them as animals

[Neothen]

"I'm larger in this position, but you can return to your normal form and rescue William. I will hold them off." Neothen advanced closer to the queen and the maggots. The spores were filtered quite well through Neothen's nostrils. He could also taste where the thickest amounts of spores were, so he could last longer. He wrapped himself around a maggot and crushed it to death.

[Nevavarein]

nev. changed back into an elf again and with some sort of spell that she learned from her father, cast all of the spores aside that would get in her way as she walked through it. Also fighting the maggots at the same time. nev walked over to where william was and started to undo his chains when the queen maggot herself came over and started to fight nev.

[Neothen]

Neothen wrapped himself around the queen's legs and squeezed. His immense length and strength as an anaconda crushed the queen's insect legs. "Kill her now Nev!!!!!"

[Nevavarein]

nev quickly used her sword to kill the queen and she fell to the floor, nev then looked at neothen "Thanks, that helped." then quickly went back to undoing william's bonds, when nev had finished she started to take william out of the cave, but a couple maggots still remained, so with neothen's help, they both killed the remaining creatures, or the maggots ran away

*when they were qall gone nev finally relaxed and turned to neothen* lets get will out of here, even though we killed them, i still dont trust it.

[Neothen]

"Sure," Neothen said in a hissy voice since he was in snake form.

[Nevavarein]

"Let's go" they then helped william get out of the cave and when they went outside the others were waiting and just let their breath out after see we were all right

OOC: Ok, I'll do that.

IC: Neothen carried William over to Canan so he could be inspected. Canan looked over William and then looked up. "Besides the cuts and bruses, He will be fine." Canan anounced. everyone looked relieved, but Canan. "We should be moving now, I don't want to see anymore bugs. William should be woken up."

[Nevavarein]

"I agree. Even though we have killed the queen, there is still something here that i do not trust. We should at least get as far away from here as possible while carrying and having to suport william." nev said in response to canan.

OCC: I am here, sorry if i took too long to answer. I'll add a couple of more post to keep the Rp going, but there is not much to do in this Rp...... By the way, Nev. have you contacted Anira yet?

IC: William woke up suddenlly. The effect of the spores had passed, and now he was fine. He opened his eyes only to see all his friends there, and not the dischusting queen bug. "Thank you all,"he said," for saving my life again......."

IC: "You should rest, the effect of the bugs have not completely gone from you, i can tell." nev said. She then went over to her horse and took out some water. "Here, you can drink this."

OOC: right now, we just rescued william (sauronbill) from the clutches of evil bugs, :D we will probably, in about a couple postsm have me go missing, or right in this post. We are making sure william is all right before we go on.
IC: As the group was waiting for William to drink the water, Nev. went off to the side to look around. After about a minute or so, they heard a stifle cry and then no more. Everyone jumped up and went looking. Nev. was not to be seen anywhere. Then, Liriel found some footprints too large to be an elf’s, going south.

IC: As she was looking around at the surroundings, Nev. suddenly heard footsteps. Quickly she turned around and before she could get any weapons, the figure knocked her out, picked her up, and carried her away.
When she finally woke up, Nev. notcieced she was in a very dark place, that smelled musty, and from the looks of things, it was not good. Just as Nev. was getting up to search the place, a candle flickered on in a corner. There was a man sitting in a roughly made, wooden chair. He had an evil look about him and also seemed larger then any human she had seen before. Then Nev. looked down at her feet. Her ankles were tied together, also, she had an severe headache.

The man stood up slowly. Nev. looked at him carefully and saw that he wasn't only almost 10 feet tall, but also that he was powerfully built. The man was covered in armor, except for his arms and legs. A shiny helm covered his head. At his side was a large heavy double-ax, that easily could have broken a troll's skull. The giant stood up and got close to Nev.
"Princess of the stars," said the giant, his voice was deep and full of malice,"do you recognize me?"

[Nevavarein]

Nev looked away to think, then remembered something from what someone had said to her "Beware of the giant, he will come to kill you, healso has a great strength and could kill you in a single blow." then Nev looked back up at the man and said "I might have heard of you." but refused to say anymore for she knew her life was at hand.

While Nev was awake, the others were following the footprints. Then they suddenly saw a figure up ahead. As they all got their weapons ready, the figue came towards them. When the figure came closer they saw an elf there. She had golden hair and fair skin. She was also wearing armor similar to Nev's though light blue. She came towards them, but kept her sword at hand. Then said "Mae Govannen, I do not want to hurt you. I am just coming for answers. I have been loking for my sister, because I have not seen her for many years. My name is Lailinthiriel Idiwen Eldess Annunrhosiel."
OOC:lail is my other character now, nev's sister and you can call her lail or lai

[Neothen]

Canan stepped forward with Neothen behind him. "I am presuming that you are looking for Nevavarein." Canan stated. "At the moment, we are looking for her. Where she once stood we found long strides instead. Do you have any knowledge of these footprints?" Canan asked while he pointed to one of the prints with his staff.

[Nevavarein]

Lai replied, "I have been examining them. It seems as though they belong to a man, a very large man. He also must be carrying something since his footprints are quite deep. He must have her." then suddenly, her face had a look of horror. After the others asked her what was wrong she finally said "This man has been killing all of the elves left from Stars. He has so far managed to, except me and Nev. We must find her, her lif’es at sake.”

"Princess,"said the giant with a paternal voice,"you were too small realize the truth. The only reason i am keeping you alive is for your sister. She'll come to your resque and i'll kill you both, completing my mission in this world....You are a dying race, elf of the stars. It's been my job to hunt your kind for these many, many years. That's how the gods have command and that's how i have done it. After you two there will be no more, and i will return to my home as king.....I am Dizsengrim the greates warrior the stars ever saw, and i am invinsible. After you two are dead, the power of the stars will be mine and mine only. Such a weak race shouldn't have so many secrets and so much power in them......Tell me princess, what do you remember about your family??"

[Nevavarein]

Nev then remembered the voice in her head. It was a fair voice that said, "Nevavarein, remember this well. There is a man out to kill you. Beware of him. He is nearly invincible except for a spot right above his left knee. Stab him with a Stars sword there and he will be injured. His name is Dizsengr….” but the rest of the words had faded from her mind. She refused to say anything about her family. Dizsengrim got frustrated and brought the knife up to her throat.

" Tell me, what do you remember???", screamed Dizsengrim with a strong voice." What do you remember about your family? About your mother??." The giant raised Nev. high above his head with a single hand, with the same facility that you raise a rabbit. " Tell me or your head will be the only thing your sister will get from you......."

[Nevavarein]

Nev responded, "For one thing, I never grew up in Stars. I only remember words of Stars and that I have a sister." Nev tried to get out of his reach, but he only tightened his grip. He then put her down but kept his hand on her neck. She looked away from him and refused to say anything more.
