The Dark Elf

[Anira the Elf]

The trees swayed and the critters scurried, hoping not to be seen, by the lone shadow that lurked in the forest that night. She was a kind soul, giving and caring. But because of her race she was shunned from her other elven kindred.

Her kind was feared. they were strong warriors and some even could weild the magic of the weave. or in most cases the shadow weave.

( I am looking for anyone who will befriend an elf such as me. ..................... by the way. the name's Liriel.)

starting to get a weary, liriel went and sought out a place to make camp. At the 1st clearing she came to she found that someone had already found it. a human by the looks of him. as liriel looked on as he ate his dinner and got into his bedroll, she wondered what a noble human was doing out here, of all places???

The man started to sleep but woke up and he started to walk around in the forest because he couldn't sleep again.

liriel started to get worried. would the man see her? she shivered and wraped her pwifiwa (and invisiblilite cloak) tighter arround herself.

After the man had walked around in the forest for an hour he became tired and he went back to the place were he had his camp and started to sleep again.

as the man falls asleep again liriel starts to formulate her plan. she s l o w l y, c a u s i o s l y ,and q u i e t l y sneaks up on the sleeping figure. Then she s l o w l y draws her dagger with the q u i e t e s t shing of a drawn blade. She poses to strike then ...................:eek: :eek: :eek:

The man wokes up and has great pain in his left side. He ses that he has a big wound. He quick drags fort his sword and keeps it infront of him. He ses a dagger running away but no body holding the dagger.

'that was a close one', liriel though as she silently retreats back into the night. "he's so dang lucky i didn't get him" she says to herself. all of the sudden liriel yawns. "i should get some sleep. i'll need it to track that human in the morning." she slips away from the camp and goes away to he underground lair to sleep the rest of the night away. But someone has gotten there 1st.............

The man (whos name is Mûzkak) washes the wound with water and the puts some bandages around it. He then looks around for a safer place to sleep. He finds a place were a big stone is on one of the sides and a fallen tree is over it and to the other side. On the fallen tree there is lots of plants that cover the sides around it so that almost no light comes in. The man goes in under the tree and lay himself down on the ground and falls to sleep.

Their was an elf there and the elf suddenly jumped, for Liriel elf had just came, The elf backed up against a wall and said "Who are you?"

"i am the (uh uh uh....whats the word im looking for..AH HA!!)el who is inhabiting this dwelling at the moment. But the question should be, Who are u?" she says giving the elf a i'm-not-so-sure-about-u- look but-i'm-gunna-look-tough-to scare you. But the elf doesn't seem to be scared at all.

The elf then says "I am Nevavarein, Elven Princess of the Now Lost Land of Stars. I was taken away from Stars before it was forever lost, and am on my own, now who may you be?"

[Anira the Elf]

"i am liriel, a warrior and a presiess of Elestraree,The Dark Maiden. iam also separated from my people. For they rejected me and sent me to live above ground in this Dark Forest. I travel alone." proclaimed liriel.

[Nevavarein]

Nevavarein than went towards Liriel and said "Well then we should join up and form a group. It is a dangerous place."

[Anira the Elf]

Liriel thought about this for a moment. it was a very dangerous place and it was always more efficient to travel with 2 or more people. "ok. i agree to this bondage. We will sleep here tonight, though u won't get much rest, we have to start traking that man in the forest *shudders* very early tomorrow morn."

[Nevavarein]

"Ok. Well, we should get some rest at least. We need our srength for tracking."

[Anira the Elf]

"Yes, we need all of the strength we can get. Good night. now got to sleep!" Liriel snaps at nevavarein. nevavarein looks a bit hurt but doesn't say anything. instead she just curls up and goes to sleep on the little bit of soft grass that there is on the floor of the cave. Liriel does the same but doesn't go to sleep at first, her mind was still wide awake. 'Where have i seen that man before?' she wonders. 'Maybe i say him at Skullport when i was getting supplies there. oh well it's useless.*Yawn* i'll sleep on it.'

While laying there i heard Liriel yawn and fall to sleep and got up. As i was walking toward the exit/entrance, i heard something in the shelter that was sliding around as though it was a snake (or reptile) I froze and went to wake up Liriel to check out what that noise was coming from. To wake her up, I slapped her back (not too hard, but just enough to wake her up) and she jumped up and listened to what I think was in the shelter

"whatisit??" liriel says as she jumps up and pulls her dagger out of her bot sheeth. Seeing Neva up and alert she realizes that neva is searching for something. looking puzzled, liriel says," What u lookin for?"

[Nevavarein]

"It sounds like there is a snake, or someone or some thing in here that shouldn't be here" I then began to search all corners and dark spots.

[Anira the Elf]

seeing that neva started looking, liriel startd2 look 2. all of the sudden she sees a black snake slither from one corner to another. "get away, neva. that black one is one of the most poisonous snakes inthe world. but it,s not from this part of the world................."

[Nevavarein]

"Someone must've brought it here, either to attack us, or for something else which i do not know." Let's kill it if we can, but watch out for its venom."

[Anira the Elf]

"ok, u move in on the right and i'll go left. Here, borrow one of my daggers." with that liriel pulls out yet another dagger from her other boot. "it'll come in handy. now lets get that pesky little thing!!"

[Nevavarein]

I then take Liriel's dagger and went around the snake, waiting for Liriel's signal. When i finally see it, we both dart forward and kill the snake. But then, just as we are about to go back to sleep and calm down, I wake up, hearing another slithering and telling Liriel. We then kill the other snake and go out side.

not really liking snakes liriel agrees and starts the hunt :D :D :D !!!

[Nevavarein]

As we were searching, I came across a basket which was opened. I gestured for Liriel to come and look. Then I asked her "I think someone either left the snake bag here on accident, or......to kill you or me."

Suddenly Liriel heard a soft sneeze coming from a nearby bush. She darted to the bush and searched it. Neva is astonished to see Liriel yank a young, female hobbit out of the bush. Liriel pulls the hobbit's hands behind her back. "Please stop wringing my wrists like that. I didn't mean to hear what you were saying," the hobbit says, wincing in pain.

Nevavarein looked up at liriel and saw the hobbit. I then said "Who are you, and why are you here?"

*glares at the little hobbit squirming in her grasp* "tell me what u heard and quickly! for i don't have much time for little metteling hobbits like u."

[HobbitGirl]

The hobbit returned Liriel's glare at being called "metteling". "I am Ashari, the wandering hobbit," she said. "I am probably the only wandering hobbit in existence. I heard that evil was stirring in this forest, and I left my home to see if there was something I could do about it. Really, I am sorry to have heard you, and I heard just about everything. Now if you would kindly let me go, I might be of some assitance to you in finding this man you seek."

[Nevavarein]

*I then walked up to Liriel and thehpbbit and said "If you are telling the truth, then why were you hiding in a bush?"

[HobbitGirl]

"I wasn't exactly hiding," Ashari explained. "I was trying to sleep there because it was the first shelter I found, and I was too tired to go any futher tonight. I was kept awake, however, by you two talking. I sneezed because I realized that the bush is rabbitbrush, and I'm allergic to it."

[Nevavarein]

"OK, then do you know anything of the snakes that were set loose?"

[HobbitGirl]

Ashari thought for a moment. "Well," she said, "I was almost asleep when I heard someone crashing around in the bushes. They were trying to be quiet, but they did a really bad job at it. That much alone tells me that it was not an elf or hobbit who brought the basket here. I sat up to see who or what was making the noise, but it was gone before I could peep out of the bush."

Ashari looked up at Liriel suddenly. "In all honesty...just why did you stab that man that you're now looking for?"

ANYWAY........

" i actually didn't stab him," Liriel said honestly, settin down Ashari ," i missed him when he woke up and rolled out of the way.*shrugs* i guess my plan didn't really work as well as i thought it would. Anyway, on a better note, do u have any more info on who set the snakes there?"

[HobbitGirl]

Ashari shook her head, her brown curls bouncing around. "I already told you, all I know is that whoever it was was not an elf or a hobbit," she said.

[Nevavarein]

i then looked at Ashari, my eyes searching for any signs of lieing and then said "OK, you can help us, and you better not be lieing, for i am royal blood. And I am very good with a sword and bow."

[HobbitGirl]

Ashari smiled, for she knew she had some company in the forest at last. "I too have some skill with the bow," she said. "And also with the staff!" She pulled a short, wooden staff from it's sheath-like case on her back. She spun it once, and said, "Let us go on the hunt for the man!" With that, she dashed off into the undergrowth, staff still in hand. The two elves followed, and soon all three were tracking the footprints leading away from the spot.

[Princess Vi]

They soon come upon a tall Elf with a waist-length braid of golden hair. They Elf was kneeling next to the footprints, studying them closely. She hears them coming, and immediately stands up, draws her sowrd, adn prepares to attack. "who are you and what are you doing!"

OOC:I'm assuming it's ok for me to just pop up too?

OOC: ya u are welcome just to pop in.

" it is ok fellow elven sister/brother (?????? i dunno for sure)!! do not be alarmed" Liriel said and then looked down to the footprint then back up to the elf. " are u tracking this demon too?" she questions.

[Princess Vi]

IC: The Elf maiden lowers her sowrd, but only a little bit. "my name is Tinuviel. I have been tracking this man for days, but he has so far managed to avoid me. I have never come upon someone who has given me this much trouble to catch. I'm judging he went this way just a couple of hours ago." She turns and whistles, and a jet-black horse and large eagle come out of the trees. She mounts the horse, and turns to the others. "if you want to join me, yuo must have swift horses, and there are none swifter than mine." She whispers something in her eagle's ear, and it quickly flies off.

[HobbitGirl]

"I have no horse," Ashari said, "but I assume a swift pony will do." She whistled a series of high, rapid notes, and out of the trees galloped a dark-chocolate pony with a creme-toffee-colored mane and tail. Ashari whispered some words to the pony and the others heard her call it Gabriella. The hobbit swung herself into the saddle, and said to the new elf, "We must be careful to not let our steeds trample the tracks."

[Princess Vi]

Two horses come running swifter than lightening out of the trees. one is pure white, and the other is a red-gold. Tinuviel sends the pure white one back, because Ashari has a pony. She whispers something in the horse's ear, and it quickly trots over to LIriel. "for yuo to ride. and don't worry about trampling the tracks, I have had experience in this sort of thing. we ride next to the trail, of course!"

[Nevavarein]

Nev. whistles a trill of high and low notes and a horse comes that is black, but with white mane and tail, and a star in one of her eyes. i quickly mount her and trott up to Tinuviel

[Anira the Elf]

The redish horse was a very nice offer and made Liriel think of her own jet black mare with white ears only back at home. She quickly mounts the horse but before she can get all the way on she feels something snag her ancle. Thinking it's only a brier she turns around to brush it off, but....... she finds THE SNAKE THAT GOT AWAY!!! (dun dun dun!!!) holding in a scream she quickly pulls the dagger that she used for all the other snake killing and slices it in half." that was c-c-close," she says and starts to stagger and fall.........

rides up next to liriel and hurriedly pushes her back in her saddle, while checking for a wound

Nevavarein looked relieve for there was no wound on Anira's leg. The snake was slain before it could do anything. They were all very happy about this and they decided to continue with the search when more than a dozen figures walked among them. They were marching like an army and they seemed to be looking for something.... but the trouble was that they were all orcs... Ugly faces, big teeth and most of them armed with small swords and maces.... The captain was almost as big as a man.... The orcs looked over all their faces looking for something..."Who are you, and what are you doing around these lands?" the captain asked not very happy of seeing elves but also asking himself what was that little creature that was with them...

[Nevavarein]

Nev. then looked up at the captian's face and said "Why should I tell you. We are just passing by and you come and say that these lands are completely out-of-bounds. We just happen to be passing by buy you, not looking for trouble, so let us pass. Now!"

Your tongue is sharp elf, and just for you know this is our land now-said the captain, his eyes were now looking at Nevavarein- This passage take to a village which has been corrupted by evil...We orcs took the village and the men offered no resistance, they said that maybe the orcs will free them from their misery....So yes this is our path now, and i demand to know the reason of your business(not that i be of any help, but i hate to have elves sneaking in my backyard) from the contrary you'll quest will end right here..."said the captain and all his companions took out their weapons and hit their shields...

looking up at the orc in descush Liriel takes a step forward and puts a hand on the hilt of her sword. before saying anything she thinks to herself ' ma nthis guy has got some nerve tromping arround this bliss filled place like it's his own land' but says " i am on a mission from the underdark ( the drow, a.k.a. dark elfs, religa) and have my own business here. so if u will get the heck out of my way i can go on."

I'm not afraid. u may have more orcs against me but that is "cowards odds" :p :p :D :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

The captain smiled," not only did we asked nicely for your mission but also we have thought of letting you pass...But your tongue have offend us and no orc will take an offense from no elf at all....",the captain took out his scimitar ."i want all of their elf heads on a plate, and take the little creature as a slave... Kill them all except that one(he signaled to Anira), she is mine..." Then all the orcs start advacing toward the group, the captain run into Anira and throw her a blow at her head....

[HobbitGirl]

"Take me as a slave? Excuse me? I think not!" Ashari said. She drew out her short staff and whacked an oncoming orc senseless before he knew what hit him. He crumpled. Another orc stepped nimbly over his fallen comrade and swung his sword at Ashari. She ducked and the blade whizzed over her head. Still ducking, she swung her staff at the orc's knees and shattered his kneecaps. The orc stumbled, bringing his head just within range for Ashari to bring her staff crashing down upon his helm and shattering his skull.

Nev. watched as the orcs advanced upon us all and as the orc hit Liriel, my first victim came to me. "I am handy with a sword! I am sure you will regret that when all yours are slain!" suddenly i started to fight, my sword gleaming at every stroke, orcs falling in front, and to the sides of me, then finaly I fought my way up to thier leader and started to fight with him, we were fighting, swords clashing, everyone else had seither been kiled, or had stopped to look at us fighting

The orcs were impressed by the sudden response. They thought this travelers will be easier to fight, and that's why many of them fell down, however they were orcs and that means "war people". In less than a minute they regroup and try to form a strategy. There were still enough orcs to fight and they tried to have at least two orcs against every warrior so that way would be easier to survive. The little hobbit girl continued fighting as hard as she could against the big orc that was trying to stop as he could her attacks. But she was so concentrated in her fight that she didn't saw a second orc that was behind her. The orc had expected the exact momment to get behind her, and in the precise momment the orc lift her by her wrist as he would lift a stone and throw her hard to the floor, and they thought she was out and both orcs went to help their brothers....The captain was surprised to see the attack of Nev and try to block her blows as good as he could. She was an excellent fighter and the captain knew he couldn't keep up much longer.However he was stronger and when he thought it was the right time he throw a blow so hard that knokcked Nev off her feet. "I think we'll have elf soup tonight", said the captain as he jump over Nev and lift his scimitar in the air to bring it down to her head in a powerfull blow...

seeing her best friend Nev in sudded danger, Liriel/ Anira darted out and nocked the scimitar out of the evil orcs hand. " regroup the others and run for safty!! I'll handle the rest!!! GO,GO,GO!!!" drawing her dark elven blade she slowly stalked towards the orc captain. " i have worked with the likes of u before," she said quietly at first, " u are all the same. stupid, slackers, barbarians, evil works of the dsrk hand." She started to laugh when the orc look outraged at her comments. Had he not realized that see was a dark elf and that her power was at it's highest at night? (obviosly not) She parried the first blow and from there on she turned into an elven berserker, slaying every enemy arround her until it was just her and the captain..........

The captain orc was afraid now. With no men on his side and this berserker was standing there to kill him. Having lost the reason in the momment the orc didn't run away, instead he attacked the enemy with both hands and mouth hoping that his strength would save him this time...

[Anira the Elf]

As the orc turned to attack her, ahe put every thing in it she could. she could tell that he was fighting for his life now that she had killed all of his assaciates. Laughing evily she threw herself into battle with him. in a few short moves she had him pinned to the ground and breathing hard...

[Nevavarein]

Then an orc had suddenly got behind her and was raisin ghis sword to kill her, but I suddenly ran forward and killed the orc, then I stood watching, to make sure that no other orc would come and try to kill Liriel

The orc looked at the eyes of Liriel, he saw death and hate. For a momment he just stared at her looking into her soul and for a momment into his soul. He knew he had lost. He felt peace like never in his life. He took out a dagger and try to stab Liriel with it...


PS: Feel free to kill the orcs. I won't be dead don't worry, think of me as some bad adventures along the way....you'll never get rid of them, but still they are fun.

OOC: cool. i never thought of them that way. Ya know... since Liriel and sauronbill, or whatever your characters name is, they are both evil but use there powers in a different way. AND liriel has friends. (that is the only thing that is between her and taking over the whole forest like u almost did)

'damn this orc is desperate' thought Liriel as she dodged the dagger thrusts. she eventually got him and her on there feet and with great difficulty and some help from Nev she got him tied to a tree. she took the dagger from his hand and then, still breathing hard, she asked him a question. " why, in the name of the dark goddess, are u trying ot kill me???"...

I hate elves" said the captain looking Liriel in the eyes. " And we thought you had come here to take the village..."

[Nevavarein]

"Well, we are not going to take over your village, we were tracking someone. and happened to run into you. And I see you dont like elves, well I am royalty, and the only one of my kind left, I could have you dead in a second, but I am willing and let you live by just fighting with you with my sword, which I am very good at."

[Nevavarein]

When I had finished saying that an orc came forward, and I spun around, there was a glowing light, and a second later, he was lying on the ground, dead "You see" I said as I turned back around to face Sauronbill "If we were hopeless against you I would have killed you, but, I knew that I was a very strong fighter, Liriel is a very strong fighter, and Ashari is a good fighter."

[Anira the Elf]

"i am willing to let u live out of the kindness of my heart but if u ever EVER! get in my way again i swear i WILL kill u," Liriel said threatningly.

"Let's go, we have already wasted time fighting. The man is probably a league ahead of us by now."

The four travelers continued their way. But after a while of walking and talking they saw a wounded man running toward them. The man stopped before he even get to them, he was hurt in the belly but the wound seemed ugly and infested. The wounded man looked up in the face of the travelers, his eyes reflected the lost of blood. "Help me "he said with pain.....

[Anira the Elf]

Liriel quickly nelt down to catch the man so he didn't fall. " what did this to u man and why are u her???" then she turned to nev. " please get something or use dome of your star magic or SOMETHING to heal this man. As this is beyond my priestes powers." Nev rushed to get out her suplies and started to tend to the man as he told his story...

"Our ....village was attacked..... by orcs", said the man between coughing and pain. After a while he talked again,"they were too many we couldn't....fight them...we surrender." He coughed a couple of times more," they took our gold and many of our food....they left...i think a company head it this way.."The man was weak now it took all his strength to talk again."A few days following the attack...a greater evil came to our village... One day when we all wake up, all of our childrens were lost.... Except for the babies all the others were lost.... Most of the women went almost mad... The best warriors went to find them... but none return... I went too... I found them... A dark man had them... He was using them in some kind of ritual, i try to fight but....but his servants stab me and i run... they followed me for a time but they seemed to give up..."The man coughed a couple of times more and his eyes began to cry."i am so sorry.... i couldn't save the children ... i couldn't help them i was there but i couldn't do nothin... i am sorry i deserve to die i do..." The wound of the man was worst now, it was made by a dagger but the dagger was poisoned other wise the man would have lived. The poison was killing him part by part. The man grab Liriel hand and look at her beautiful eyes. He felt lucky of depart from the world holding the hands of a beautiful elf.... He knew it was almost time...

OOC: i'm back!my 'puter crashed(again), that's why I haven't been playing. sorry! I'm assuming I'm still alive, as I didn't see my death since I last posted

IC: "we will NOT let you die." Tinuviel pulls out a small red stone(OOC: no, not a Sorceror's Stone), which starts glowing bright red. She holds it over the man's wound, which also glows red. 15 minutes later, the man is completely healed, and sitting up, staring at them all. "who are you?"

IC: Ashari (who did not sustain serious injury from the last battle) was astonished to see the man healed so quickly. However, she quickly pushed her astonishment aside and focused on the problem at hand. "What did this dark man look like?" Ashari suspected the dark man was the same man that had stabbed Liriel in the dark. She looked to Liriel to watch her reaction to the healed man's description of the dark man.

Liriel steped back and let her friend heal the elf while she thought. there was alot going through her mind just then 'beautiful eyes...babies... children... dieing...evil afoot..must help...Quickly!!!' she then turned to Nev and Ashari. " we need to go quickly. Nev," snd turned to her, " get this man a horse. Ashari, u can tend to the wounds and pack our suplies and i shall help u." then muttered to herself for a second..... "oh! we also need to clean or wepons of the foul orc blood. now lets get moving!!!"

nev. then got the man's horse while thinking of what he had said. It all seemed to fit together, but there was something missing, something that was wrong about this man. I rods my horse while holding the reins of the man's horse while waiting, then we started to go towards where the man directed us (where the dark man was)

Neothen was walking down the rode when he saw a company of elfs and a hobbit.Neothen quickly took out a small stone and put it around his neck.He then turned into an eagle and flew into a tree watching them.Neothen decided to follow them for a while to see what there like.

Liriel mounted her horse and after they where a little ways aliong she thought she say something up in the sky. She quickly dismissed the thought but started getting a little suspicios when she say no other bird or beast around...

Neothen thought he'd have to be a little more quiet so he flew a head and waited for them.

"where is this place exactly, man (aka. sauronbill), for u are the one leading us there?" as he told her, she started to formulate a plan in her mind to rescue the captured children...

nev. watched as Liriel started to look up at the sky then quickly asking the man about the children. then I looked up and a little ahead and saw an eagle flying as though it was about to land. I was just about to say something about it when some movement next to us caught my attenttion and....

Suddenly the eagle that was following them became larger than a man a human voice came out of its beak."Watch out"it yelled flying down on the creature.The creature ran into the woods but it could still be heard breathing.Neothen turned back into a human but only to find Nevs sword in his face."Don't worry I'm on your side."Nev put her sword down."My name is Neothen king of Doroth and if you don't mind I would like to travel with you."

Tinuviel looks at Neothen suspiciously, then decides he is friend not foe. "it is not up to me if you can join us, as I am not really even part of the group. If you do join us, however, you must be able to travel quickly."

Liriel loked at him suspiciosly for a second but couldn't find anything evil about him. " yes, u may travel with us but on 1 condition," as the wizards face lit up, "it is that u do not use magical fire." he looked at her,puzzled, for a minute but then shrugged and agreed not to.

"I don't like to use fire that much anyways and I can travel by air as you've already seen."*Neothen stood relaxed now.*

nev. looked at neothen sharply for any signs of lieing, or uneasiness and said, convinced "OK you may come, but, what do you know that happened with that" a pause "creature?"

"That creature was not of this world instead something from my world.I think it was some species of dog but I'm sure I'm wrong.I did not bring that creature instead I've been chasing it for some time now.It doesn't belong in this world"

The man looked around seeing all kinds of people he didn´t know or remembered from anywhere. A hobbit, elves, etc... The last memory he had was of running through the woods escaping from the servants of the dark men that was using the children in his dark ritual... His eyes became sad with the memory...He try to stood up but he couldn´t. ``Where am i? Who are you people?``, he said....

nev. looked at the man. He was nervous, but suddenly he looked beweldired, then nervous again. Then nev said "Well, are you going to answer or not. For we must get going or the other man may have finished the ritual. And why are you nervous, youve been with us the whole time?"

The man looked at Liriel face, his eyes showed fear and pain, but most of all they expressed two words ´´thank you´´. The man stood up, the healing power of the stone was impressive. ´´i don´t know what you elves did, i remember to be pretty wounded and almost dead but thank you very much to you all , i am in your debt....My name is Payk but call me Pak if you want, everybody does. I´ll take you to the place if you want but once we are there i´ll go. i am sorry but that is all i can do... i hope you save the children. Just be carefull, follow me....´´ after saying this the man started to walk toward a path of the forest.

"just a second," said Liriel to Pak and he turned around. "we have a horse for u, you know," as she lead up the horse to Pak. He looked at her with great emotion and said thank you in a quite sort of voice and mounted." great! now lets go find that moster of a thing! lead the way Pak" and the started toward the place.

As they were riding Lir started to think " is this man truly to be trusted?? how do we know he is not leading us astray??...we don't. What about the creature that has been ruining the Forest? it is the same creature or 2 different ones??... i'll have to sleep on it" thinking about sleep she realize she haden't gotten any for at the least 1 and a half days. "lets rest soon, for we all are weary." so they headed to find somewhere to sleep peacefully for a long, long time.

Pak continued with the company leading the way. By the look of his face this had been a man who had suffered a lot. Suddenly Pak stop, and all the others stopped with him. ´´We are almost there´´, he said and pointed to something in the floor. The bodies of four children lay on the ground, all of them had been bruttally murdered and it seems that the killer didn´t stopped there.... For there was almost no blood on the ground. Whatever killed these childrens had also drink their blood......

"It looks as though this creature has gone one step ahead of us. We must hurry, or all the children will be dead."

[Neothen]

* Neothen shuddered at the sight.*" This creature is of the netherworld a place I have seen but a few times. The creatures there feed on blood and dark power. This creature may be stupid but it's powerful. We must take extra percaution here."

Suddenly there was a noise to the left. We all reached for weapins when...

...when the beast they have seen came directly at them. It was at least as big as a bison, but it had bigger horns and the skin was as red as fire. The noise they have heard was of some kind of flute like if someone was calling the beast. The beast passed them so quickly that knock out most of them and before they could do anything it had taken a pony with her, the one were Pak was. The beast took the pony right in the direction were Pak was leading them, and screams(both humans and from the pony)were heard in the forest....

* Neothen got up and shot some kind of color at the beast which left a colorful trail for them to follow.*

"wow, that was freaky." Lir said after a long pause. "since the wizard has kindly left a trail for us to follow, lets hury our little hinies up and follow it!" sort of shocked at the way Lir had phrased that the hastily agreed and followed along. as they rode they kept their wepons ready just incace the beast tried to atack again."did anyone else hear that high flute like note ahen the beast came?(dark elves have very sensitive ears) it reminds me of how the human men try to use whistles to call their dogs to come or do something. like the person (or whatever it is) made it do that. so if we find the beast, we find it's master."

All the company followed the trail of the beast. Pak seemed to be more nervous the more they got close to. Finally they came to the end of the trail. There in the middle of the forest there was the beast, and his master. A dark knight armed with a shield and some kind of dark mace seemed to threat the beast like a mascot. The man was holdin a flute in his right arm. His face could not be seeing. Along with them there was many (at least like 20) men dressed in dark cloaths, and there were also all the children from the village. Somekind of altar was being prepare, while four others were holding the beast with a chain in the neck. The beast was visible now, not only was as big as a bison and the skin as red as fire, but also had many spikes coming out of her back and the face was that of a tiger, except for her yellow eyes. The black knight seemed to be satisfied with the beast pray(the pony), and told one of the servants to give one of the boys to the beast. The servant took the boy and the beast bited him so hard that divide the buddy of the victim in two parts. Then it began to devoure it. In that momment the altar was ready , and all the servants of the black knight prepared for the big sacrifice in honor of the great demon they adore.........

* Neothen turned to the ground with a sick expression on his face.*

Mûzkak woked up and went out from his sleeping place. His wound didn't hurted so much now and he fellt much better then he had fellt before.
He then thought for himeself - Why are the elves hunting me, what have I done to them, but they wont catch me, elves are to stupid. Mûzkak then started to walk east in the forest. Mûzkak wanted to get out of the damned forest quick bu his wound still caused him to only be able to walk slow. But after a while he came to a hill without trees in the forest. He went upon it and looked out, he saw that the forest didn't went much more east then where he was. He went down from the hill and started to travel east again.

Suddenly the knight noticed the party and looked at them. He then said"What are You doing here. You have no right to be here. Men!! Kill them." Suddenly the elves, hobbit, and the men were fighting for their lives."

* Neothen stood tall and spoke with a strong voice.*" I will not stand for this anylonger."* At that moment Neothen started shaking violently. His eyes became a cold blue and his mind gave out waves that could be felt from a far distance. Neothen took out his wand and held it to his chest. He vanished. Suddenly the men in front of him fell to their knees with their hands on their heads screaming. The men fell to the ground dead. Neothen came into view and stood weak from his spell.*" Finish them off."

"right!" liriel said confidently as she thrusts her sword through yet another hooded figure. "NEV!! I NEED A LITTLE HELP HERE!!!" she shouted as 10 of the last 15 closed aroud her. their leader obviosly intructed them to kill her 1st. but just as they got near enough to do any damage(like they ever could) Nev. came bolting in and slew 3 right of the bat." thanks a lot," lir said relieved, "now lets get down to business!" they stood back to back and defeated any one ofthem thta dared to come near. just them a stray thought went through Lir's mind "What if Pak was not truthful and he was leading us here for the ritual too??... NO! i trust that man!"and she turned her thoughts back to the battle at hand...

Many men were on the grass now. Many of them dead and most of them were badly hurt. The company had been fighting with sword and magic and had won the battle. But still there were many men to fight still, and three of them were holding the children. When in the middle of the fight the men stopped their attack. A sound was heard in the forest, it was the laugh of the dark knight. ´´Pak´´, said the dark knight, he had a voice so deep that it looked like he was going to roar at any momment,´´you didn´t told me they were elves and mages, they obviously took me by surprise´´ . He had said these words laughing like not worring that most of his men were dead. All the company looked back at Pak. His cloth was now the same of the man that they had been fighting: a dark cloath. They were all surprised.´´Even i was surprised´´,said Pak with a smile,´´but here they are´´.
´´A wonderfull pray for my little Koguer´´, he said looking at Liriel,´´and don´t worry about my men.´´After saying this the dark knight raised his mace, some sort of green aura started to revolve around him and a momment later all the men that had been killed or hurt were now stand like if nothing had happened. There wasn´t even blood spilled on the grass. The necromancy of this knight was very powerfull. ´´See?´´said the knight with a smile,´´Kouger bring her to me alive´´, he then pointed to Liriel and the men that were holding the demonic beast released her. The beast came running toward Liriel, the movility of this animal(considering his size) was incredible, Liriel saw the beast come closer and she could smell the death every closer the beast got to her......

[Anira the Elf]

at the very last moment she jumped up and did a back flip out of the way. " u trator!!!" she roared at Pak "u lead us right into this! so are u undead too! because when i alay u, u better not come back to life or i'll have the Dark Maiden(lir's Goddess) curse u until the day that u die!!" then she said in a pretty normal voice, "which will be as soon as i get done with that horid excuse for a monster." and readied her sword for the animals next charge...

[Neothen]

* Neothen walked into the shadows working his way to the children.*" This knight is cursed with great power. I can't find a sorce but I know he gets his power from somewhere."* Neothen made his way to the children. He slayed to of the men holding the children but this time he vanquished their bodys to the netherworld so they couldn't come back. He stabed the second with his sword. Neothen took the children to the side putting them under his protection.*

[Ponte]

Mûzkak came to the end of the forest, he looked out over the lands outside of it, but then he thought to himslef, I must search a little mroe time for it, then I'll leave. Mûzkak went back into the forest. After a while he saw a place where many fighters where, there were also one big monster that were on its way to attack Liriel. Mûzkak looked at Liriel and her weapon, he looked at the weapon and remembered that he had saw it when he was attacked. When he saw this he understood how he would be able to take revenge on Liriel. So he ran down to the place where al the fighters were, he ran against Liriel with his sword draged, when he were very close to the elf the big monster started to run against Liriel once again. The monster came to Liriel but Liriel swinged her sword against it and made a big ound on it. The monster went back some steps and Liriel felt rather calm. But right then Mûzkak came to Liriel and swinged his sword toward her, he hit her in her left arm and made a big big wound.

Liriel was wounded now for Muzkak and the beast saw his opportunity, but instead of attack her with his horns, the beast make some kind of strange howl and a momment later flames were coming out of her mouth and toward Liriel and Muzkak, they were both dead if they didn´t do something.......

Neothen had managed to reach the children but if he would manage to get them out of there was still to be seeing. The aura that had once surronded the knight was there again, and one more time it had the same effect. All the men dead or wounded stood up again to meet the battle one more time, even the ones that Neothen killed. This surprised Neothen, how was that possible? He had send them to the netherworld so they couldn´t come back. Neothen stood confuse for a momment when he was interrupted by the attack of the man he had slain, while the dark knigh laugh was heard in all the forest. It was in that momment that Neothen understood: all the men were binded to the power of this dark knight, if he was killed then all the men would die with him......

[Neothen]

* Neothen walked infront of the black knight and drew his sword.*" It's your turn."

´´Come and get me´´, said the knight laughing at the time that five of his men stood in front of him forming a wall of steel and flesh.....

Mûzkak quickly falled down to the ground and came under the fire, he then half-crawled, half-runned to the right some meters and then with his full speed ten meters more. When he had runned ten meters he looked back against the battle. He saw the big beast that were blowing falmes against Liriel who had comed upon her feet. Mûzkak decided to hold himself away from the beast, but he still wanted to kill Liriel in some way. He then got an idea and he runned against Neothen, he swinged his sword against him but Neothen blocked the sword with his sword. But Neothen walked back some stepps because of the hard hit he had got against his sword, while Neothen was away Mûzkak quickly asked the kinght if he could serve him.

The two red eyes of the dark knight looked at Muzkak in a strange way. Obviously the knight didn´t expected that, but he thought that Muzkak could be a good help in this fight.´´´Very well,´´said the knight and then he pointed to Liriel,´´bring me her head and you may join´´. After that the knight call out his mascot.´´´Koguer forget the cute one´´, the beast looked back to his master, ´´how about a bigger pray?´´, he then pointed to Neothen that it was being attack by several of the knight´s men. The beast made his usual howl and it run toward Neothen with incredible speed. All the undead men let her pass at the time they tried that Neothen didn´t get out of the way......

Suddenly nev. who was standing in the shadows and killing any men that passed by, came out and started to fight with the dark night. again, she was fighting with all my might. Our swords were clashing and their was a lot of noise from the swords. Neothen was also fighting against he dark knight. This also helped the others because the knight could not see if any of his men were dead, or what the beast was doing because if his eyes strayed for even a second, he could be dead.

As fast as lightning Lir rolled away fromthe flames. When she turned around she saw a very familiar man buy the evil ones' side. "Muzkak!!!????.. is that u?? how did u get here?? i thought u were safe at home by my aunties side (u are my cousin ;) )!!" the nrage got the best of her. "GET BACK HERE. DON'T U RECOGNISE WHO I AM!!!!"

"Oh, and by the way. if u think i am so cute why don't u bed me instead if kill me??" seeing the look of rage and utter disbelief on the necromancer's face only was going to make her revenge sweeter. besides, under all those black robes he might actually be cute...:D ;)

* Neothen was being charged by the beast he didn't know what to do. Then Neothen remembered his pet.*" LAVIATHIN!"* Suddenly a large dragon leaped from the woods and it hit the beast. Neothen turned to the wall of men and charged at them with full force.*

Mûzkak said to Anira - Well, perhaps you're my cousin, but I don't care, you still tried to kill me. I wont fail tho, I will kill you! And you have also insulted my I-want-him-to-let-me-become-his-servant-master and that I wont tolerate. When Mûzkak had said that he runned against Liriel, he swinged his sword against her but she blocked the sword with her sword, Liriel then swinged her sword against Mûzkak but Mûzkak blocked her sword with his shield. He then swinged his sword with al his power against Liriel, Liriel weren't hit but the sword only passed a few centimeters away from her head. Mûzkak falled to the ground when his sword didn't hit anything but he quickly rolled back and got up to the ground, now he didn't swinged his sword but waited for Liriel to do something.

The dark knight was fighting Nev. now. She was an excellent sword fighter but this knight was something else. His mace moved with incredible speed blocking every blow and waiting for the right momment to attack. When in the middle of the fight the knight saw his chance and blew some kind of green smoke in Nev. eyes. She had never felt so much pain. The dark horse of the knight run out of the fight, and when the knight got to a safe spot he rised his mace one more time and all the dead men stood up again...The dragon was a problem, of course, but nothing out of control.´´Koguer´´said the knight,´´keep that beast busy´´. After this the demonic beast went into a fight with Laviathin,while the other men fighted with Neothen and the others. The dark knight made his horse go to where Muzkak and Liriel were. He stopped the fight and stood in the middle of them. ´´You´ll get your chance mortal´´, he said to Muzkak then he turned to Liriel,´´well, would you do it?´´

[Neothen]

* Neothen found his chance at the knight. He raised his hand and a ball of ice flew through the air knocking the mace out the knights hand.*" That should slow you down."

"do what evil one??" as she threw a look of pure sweet inocence at him. She was planning her rapid escape in her head, for she was surrounded by her 2 worst enemies, though both seemed to have some sort of interest in her...;)

One of the men of the dark knight picked up the mace and gave it to his master, the eyes of the dark knight had changed. He reflected sadness...´´I have many things in this world, one of them is power, power like you can´t imagine´´, said the knight´to Liriel,´´but one thing i don´t have is the love of a woman. Would you bed me? Would yu stay with me if i ask you?´´

[Neothen]

* Neothen saw what need the knight had but Neothens passed made his anger worse at the knight. Neothens family was destroyed by sorcery and he took his anger out on every form of evil. Neothens weakness was his family and friends and thats why he had lost them. Neothen ran at the knight with his sword in his hand.*

[Ponte]

Mûzkak went away from his guarding place for Liriel. But instead Mûzkak ran against Neothen, he slided and hited Neothen on his leg with a lot of power, Neothen falled down to the ground and wasn't up on the ground when Mûzkak jumped opon him. Mûzkak lifted Neothen to the ground and took his sword infront of Neothen's neck.

[Neothen]

" I'm not a wizard for nothing."* Neothen grabed Muzkak's arm and sent a great amount of electricity through Muzkak's body. Muzkak fell to the ground in pain. All of his joints stretched out with the emmense flow of electricity, even his toes were on end.* " Think twice before you grab me again."

[Ponte]

Mûzkak lay on the ground for a while, but his body took very light damage of the electricity and he lay for a while like the electricity still was paining him even tho it didn't. And when Neothen went away from Mûzkak and went to the knight Mûzkak goot up on his feet amd throwed his sword against Neothen.

[Anira the Elf]

" then if u love me then call of your guards and stop this evil sacrifice!!!" seeing that she was serious, The Balck Night called of his undead guards, then turned to her." u still haven't answered my question. Will u stay with me??*" with a sigh and a nod of her head she fell into his arms and cried.

* Before the knight had stoped his men Muzkak had stabed Neothen in the back. Neothen fell forward on the ground his face went white then black.*" EVERYONE LEAVE OR YOU WILL DIE FROM MY CURSE!"* Neothen fell to the ground a light started to swirl around him. The grass around him started to burn. It started to spred out burning everything in its path. Neothen's dragon flew above the trees watching its master.*

Nevavarein saw the fire and then she saw the dark knight. he was heading away onto his horse, so, nev. ran to her horse, who she had whistled for, then jumped up onto her, even with her eyes in pain, and started towards the knight and his men. Liriel and the others saw me go so the ones who could. Started to follow.

[Anira the Elf]

" we must leave!!!! get everyone to safety!!!" Since The Black Night didn't have a horse he swung up behind Lir. They galloped off and scooped up some of the children that the others hadn't got yet.

Mûzkak runned in the direction he had comed from, after a while he saw a small cave in the ground, he saw that it came a little light from the other side so he went into it. He quickly went far into it and when the fire came Mûzkak had comed far far into the cave. Mûzkak climbed up on a stone that was high above the ground in the cave, he would now be safe from the fire for a rather long time, on that part of the cave there were only stone and even tho the fire was magical it still couldn't get a grip on stone without any problems. Mûzkak truned around and looked farer into the cave, far away he saw daylight and he started to walk against it. After a while he came so close to the end of the cave so that he could look out of the cave, he saw that there were no fire outside of the cave and he went out of it.

Since only Muzkak, Lir, nethoen, and The Black night (who mysteriously doesn't have a real name) were the only ones there, she brought back provisions for 4. At the sight of food, they all dug in with so much hunger Lir had to go back for more!

The dark knight was sitting in front of the fire now. He had changed, his eyes were no longer red, they were normal now. But his soul was still as dark as his armor. He looked at Liriel with love. ´´It´s incredible´´, he thought,´´the love of a beautiful woman....is even greater than the greates of powers.´´He felt the dark voice inside his head, the same voice that had tormented him for years, the same voice that had brought him to the dark side, the same that made him did all those horrible crimes.....All for what, power....Even the word sounded empty now. Even when he had felt love, he was not free from the demon, he knew that. He will never give Liriel to him, or any of her friends(for that´s what the demon wanted), not for all the power in the world. But he knew that if they wanted to live, he would have to sacrifice his life, ....He looked at Liriel one more time, he took her hand and kissed softly.´´I am sorry, we can´t stay together, he would kill you if i do, and i can´t let that happen.....´´


PS: I am sorry guys(specially you Liriel) but the evil won´t let go this dark knight so easy......After all a powerfull demon own his soul.

Suddenly, from the north, nev. came barely staying up in her saddle. My horse came to a stop and I fell off. The others hurriedly went over to nev. and found that there was stars in her eyes that they could hardly look at because they were glowing. Then suddenly they went out and nev. passed out. (ot dead, but close).

" somebody help Nev. quick!! Neothen! grab the box of medicins out of my saddle bag!" he did so and was back in a flash. "thanks. now pick her up and put her by the fire in the cave. i'll give her this remidy *hold up a vile*, then all we can do is wait."

After awhile, nev. just stayed there, but then she started to move a bit.Then she sat up, but layed back down because of a terrible pain that had overcome her. The others came over and they saw a scar across her face (I got that when I was born it symbolizes power and life)...

" I will come back as soon as possible."* With saying that he vanished into a portal. Neothen came out of the portal infront of his home town. Neothen rushed to the castle and went to the counsil room.*" Canan, we need your asistance with a demon."* Canan nodded his head and followed. The old man seemed excited to get a case after being stuck in the hospital for so long. They went back through the portal and reapeared infront of the company.*

The night was clear and the stars were shinning. But that didn´t mean it was peacefull. Back in the place where the company had fight the black knight there was somekind of fog in the place, and that couldn´t be good. The altar still remainced there and also some of the children that were killed. Suddenly the night was disturbed, the blood from the altar and from the floor started to strangely move, like a river that comes down from a mountain. The two rivers of blood joined together forming a seven foot tall shape that materialized into a horrible demon. Only the moon, the stars and the trees were the witnesess of this horrible formation from the blood of innocents. The demon stood up in the middle of the night, he looked up to the moon with his red eyes wandering. He was covered by a large cape, as red as the blood from where he came. His skin was dark grey and he had three large horns in his head. His red eyes looked everywhere looking for something. He said some strange words in a horrible language and a momment later all the man that had serve the dark knight(they died by Neothen´s curse) came out from the earth to serve the evil one more time. All of them were armed with swords. ´´Bring him back,´´said the demon. His voice sounded so horrible that even the leaves were scared,´´i´ll kill him and that elf that stole him from me.´´All the man run in the direction the company had taken and the demon followed them quitely.....The smell of blood was impregned all over the forest, and there was no doubt that a battle like no other was going to happen. But who would be the winner, evil or light, love or hate. That only the gods and the destiny knew it....

[Anira the Elf]

Liriel's Drow senses, now at full hight in the night, sensed something amiss in the air." do u guy here that?" she asked the others. But as they shook there heads no, she wondered if she was the only one who could 'feel' it. Even Neothen, a mighty wizard, had not noticed a dark presence in the forest.It was as if Sauron and all of his alies had rose again and formed as one. the thing felt of pure evil, only knowing how to kill and betray.The others eyed her with a strange look. Because they hadn't ever seen a Drow they didn't know about their special eyes." your eyes...?!" said The Black Night with a strange fear and wonder."What? oh, my eyes? are they red?...Yes?... oh. they are in infrared vision right now. Since i am used to it and so are all other Drow i guess i didn't think to tell u.I see your heat radiation and form right now as clearly as Humans see in the daylight." she explained as she looked at Neothen. "it comes in very handy when i hunt in the dark. So that is why the turn this very "statling" ,i should say, hue of crimson." somewhat relieved, the 2 men turned back to the fire. as she got up to walk away she said " i must retire. Goodnight." and bent down to give the Night a quick brush of a kiss on his check, and slinked off.

now wraped in her Piwifwa (invisiblity cloak of some sort) she curled up to go to sleep when the Night came over and...

* Canan jumped up in fright.*" We are not safe here."* The others looked at him strangly. Canan grabed his staff.*" The demon has left the knights mind and taken physical form in the forest."
" Are you sure master."* Neothen had gotten up alarmed at his masters fright.*

IC: *Canan joined in with the chant and Neothen motioned to the knight.*" For some reason the demon has left your body."

´´I am not sure´´, said the knight worried,´´he is not the one who gives up. Maybe...´´But before he could end his thought the tranquility was broken with a lot of screams and noise of weapons. The company was suddenly attacked by the demon´s men, and there were so many of them that Canan and Liriel had to interrupt the clensing spell. The night was full of screams and blood was all over the grass. But the man didn´t die and they keep coming more. Suddenly the demon appeared. Everybody saw it, and all of them felt fear in their hearts. Even the master. The demon stood in the middle of the fight. Nev. tried to attack, but the demon grabbed her sword with his own hands(he didn´t felt no pain at all), and hit her in the face. She flew some feet away to be attacked lately by the demon´s men. The demon continued his way toward the knight. He was walking slowly, like he didn´t have a worry in this world. Neothen stood in front of him, and he threw an ice ball to the demon. Nothing, the ball continued without even touching the demon. Neothen looked at his red cape. That´s where his power is. That´s why his elemental magic didn´t do anything. Before he could finish his thoughts, the demon had hitting him really hard and send him flying at least 6 feet away, where the demon´s men where waiting for him.

The demon continued his way. Canan tried to make somekind of spell at the time that he was defending from his enemies. But he didn´t realized that the demon had felt his power also. The demon didn´t waste time, and he threw somekind of green ball that hit Canan in the chest. Canan fell to the ground without air, power or even force to defend himself. The green ball had sucked all the power from him(for a time). Liriel protected him with body and sword. The demon finally came upon the knight that had killed several of the demon´s men(his own men once). The dark knight saw his worst enemy finally in front of him, and he felt like surrender and give his soul one more time. But then he looked where Liriel was. No, he couldn´t give up, if he was going to die he would die trying.

The dark knight went to the demon. He raised his mace and try to give him a smashing blow. But the demon caught his mace in the air and took him from him. The the demon hit him hard with his elbow, making the black knight fell to the floor. ´´Why have you betray me?´´asked the demon and he destroyed the mace crushing it in his own hands like if it was crystal. No harm was made to his hand.´´I gave you everything you wanted....Power, how could you renounce to that ?
´´You didn´t gave me love´´,said the black knight standing up,´´That can´t be replace by anything.´´
´´Love´´, said the demon with laughing,´´and how much time do you think that´s going to last. Believe me boy there is no love in this world. It´s not worth to die for something as weak as love.....´´
´´Sometimes love can be stronger than any power. That´s how i feel´´, said the black knight looking at Liriel,´´she is something else. She didn´t do anything, and i feel like not even the worst power could stop us. I love her more than....´´ before he could finish the demon hit him in the face, so hard that instead of flying the knight just fell on the ground. When he lifted his head his face was completely covered in blood. He barely could talk.
´´You were one of my best man!!´´, said the demon now furious,´´I am willing to give you another chance knight. Don´t make me take it away. Leave that elf that tomorrow is going to leave you starving to death. You don´t matter to her. Come bak to me, i´ll give you everything, serve me one more time. Give me your soul, serve the evil, help me clean the land of these elf creatures. Help complete Sauron´s work...´´

The dark knight looked at his old master,and said between coughing and pain:´´I consider myself lucky......dying for her, than.... to serve.. you an eternity..´´The demon looked at him dissapointed.´´So be it,´´ said the demon and his men picked up the knight. He tried to defend but they hold him hard down and leaving his head free. ´´I am sorry Liriel´´said the knight crying,´´i don´t deserve you.´´

´´The only punishing for betrayal is death´´, said the demon opening one side of his cape and taking out a large scimitar, which blade was living flame.´´So long lover...´´and with this the demon raised his sword and brought it down directly to the knight´s neck......

[Neothen]

" STOP!"* Neothen yelled at the top of his lungs.*" If you want a challenge then fight my Deity form."* Canan was shocked at hearing this.*" Neothen, don't risk your life on this."* Neothen just looked at Canan.*" I have to, I don't want anyone els to suffer from losing another."* With that Neothen braced himself for the worst. His scream could be heard for miles. A bright light surrounded Neothen. When the light faded Neothen had completely changed. His hair was now pure white and his eyes were completely glazed white aswell. His robe was now different shades of silver and he slightly glowed in the presence of darkness. He spoke with an echoing voice.*" If you think your so powerful then lets see you get through me."

´´My business is not with you, son of Doroth,´´said the demon,´´but you have gave me an idea.´´He went to Liriel.
´´No,´´said the black knight,´´it´s me the one you want, leave her alone.´´
´´You are wrong, knight,´´the demon replied,´´she was the responsable for all this, if she had at least kill you, it would be more honorable. But no, she used her body to drive you to madness. She is the one responsible for your death.´´He looked at Liriel in the eyes,´´I´ll give you your last fight, dotter of Lothlorien, if you defeat me i´ll give you his soul, if not, then i will take you both. What do you say?´´.......

nev. looked from the demon to liriel and back again. Lir was in great thought when I stood up and said "Why should just she have to fight. We al are up against you? If she has to, then, I swear, i will not give up on that, even if I almost get killed!"

OOC: Sorry I haven't been around for a long time, guys! If you want to know why I was gone PM me.

IC: Long before the company had reached the clearing where the battle with the Black Knight had taken place, Ashari had silently slipped off into the woods to scout ahead. She saw nothing, so she returned to the place where she had left the company and followed their trail. The hobbit reached the clearing after the battle was over. The sight of the dead, mangled children almost made her retch, but she continued to track the rest of the company. She saw tracks that led into a cave, and decided to double around to the opposite entrance to cut off anything that could come on her friends in the cave while they were sleeping. Ashari entered the cave through the far side and saw that her friends were already gone, though their campfire was still smoking. She made her way to the primary entrance of the cave which looked out into the clearing. There she saw a sight that took her breath away. The huge, horrible demon with the bloodred cape was standing by Liriel. Liriel had just accepted the demon's challenge, but Ashari knew that no matter how strong Liriel was, she could not defeat the demon one-on-one except through an amazing amount of luck. I will not let Liriel die, but I am no match for this monster, Ashari thought. It has to have some weakness...but what?

[Neothen]

" Master tell me that this creature has a weakness."
" Yes it does."* Canan, said weakley.*" Tell Liriel that the eyes of a demon can be blinded by white magic."* After saying this Canan passed out. Neothen concentrated on comunicating with Liriel in her mind.*" Liriel....Liriel the demon will go blind if you strike its eyes with white magic."

The demon raised his arms and a momment later a circle of fire surrounded him and Liriel. ´´May this fight be the example that the elves are just a weak pest in the world. We, demons will be the future kings of this rich lands, ´´said the demon screaming. He threw his flaming blade to the heavens and a momment later two sword of purple fire came dow directly to his hands.´´One single cut os this fire swords and you won´t die elf. No that will be too good for you. You´ll keep your inmortality but you will transform in a crappy old lady without beauty or charm. I´ll transform you in a dry leave, a dead flower. Let´s see him love that,´´said the demon laughing. His red eyes had a weird shine and he came to Liriel attacking her with his swords.....

as the demon was advancing toward her she got a telepathic message she recognised it as Neothen and accepted the enterace of it "Liriel....Liriel the demon will go blind if you strike its eyes with white magic." a huge flood a relief come Neothen's way " thanks alot man, i am in your dept" and she readied her white magic for the most powerful spell she knew, but the great magic wouldn't come without a cost...

... she began the arcane gestures and sylables of the spell that would destroy the demon FOREVER!!as he was only a few yards away, she let the spell fly and awaited the backfire...

The explosion was heard around middle earth and everyone in the battle area was knocked uncontious....

As the company woke up and regained their hearing from the blast thet all looked at Lir who had not woken up yet. The knight crawled over to her and shook her saying, "Lir! wake up! liriel!!!?? can u hear me!!??" but she did not move or make a sound. The whole company went silent. Then Neothen said quietly," It was the magical backlash.She will not wake, stir, or talk until the effects wear off, or if they don't, until she dies." The look that crossed the Knight's face was the look of utter terror. Then in a shaky voice he said, " is their anything, ANYTHING!, i could do to save her??" " there is," replied Neothen, "it is...

[Neothen]

" There is an herb that has the power to heal any kind of curse or spell. Canan and I can retrieve it but it's gaurded by a powerful sorcerer."
" I don't want to aproach that temple even if my life depened on it. I'm to old for that kind of job."
" Then you can wait outside Canan. The temple is 20 leages from here. We need all of you to help retreive it. I need some of the herb myself because I havn't reverted to normal yet."* Neothen was right he still had white hair and glazed eyes and his cloths were still silver.*

[HobbitGirl]

Ashari, who had been standing silently in the trees while the battle was going on, stepped out into the clearing and gave everyone a start. She did not wait for anyone to speak to her, and she said to Neothen, "I will go with you! I told Liriel I would help her from the first time I met her, and I will continue to do so now."

[Nevavarein]

Nev. watched as the others talked about getting the herb and when Ashari jumped out, (she had seen her, since she had very good eyes) then she said "Ashari, how come you had not came with us?" "We've needed your help."

"I am sorry, Nev.," the hobbit said. "I had slipped off earlier to scout the woods ahead. When I returned I found the duel between Liriel and the demon going on."

All Lir could do was think and breath, but she was living. for awhile at least...

her thoughts came in broken patterns, for he mind was not quite back to normal yet..
"Knight... demon... explosion... screams...Nev, Neothen, Ashari, Canan... help... falling into black... still falling... help... help!..HELP!!.AHHHH!!...*hits ground*...*tries to send a telepathic message to Neothen but only manages a fuzzy sort of signal and a few feelings such as Despare love and determination*"

Nev. suddenly looked at liriel. She was slashing but still unconciens (ignore spelling) "we must go, she is getting desperate, ill have my horse bring her." I then lifted Liriel up (I am quite strong) and laid her in as comforatable position as i could get her. "Come on lets go now, lir's life is at hand."

she could vagly feel the movement of her body being lifted into the sadle.The none word went through her mind before she went totally unconcience( he he! right spelling) for a long,long time(kinda like a coma). The word was " ...love..."

* Canan rode beside Liriel trying to ease her mind. The company rode on for a long time until they reached a wall of stone on a mountain cliff. Neothen, stopped the company infront of it.*" Wait for the sun,"* Neothen, said. As soon as the sun hit the wall of stone a door formed. Canan, shivered just looking at the entrance. Neothen, turned to the group.*" We musn't kill the sorcerer, because if we do then there will be nobody to gaurd the herbs. Ashari, if you can vanish from sight when we get inside then you can grab the herb while we fight the sorcerer."
" I will stay with Liriel outside if you don't mind."
" You do that, master."* Neothen, turned to the company,*" Is there any questions."

"I have no questions whatsoever, now lets gfo inside." neothen then led us through the entrance

* As the company walked through the corridors vines grew thicker and they seemed evil to look at. They came to a maze sort of room but all you had to do was walk around the maze. They came to the last room which was covered in vines.* "Keep a close watch out for the sorcerer."

Ashari said, "This is where I leave you," and at a nod from Neothen, she slipped swiftly and silently into the shadows.

With a stealth that only hobbits have, Ashari flitted from shadow to shadow without being seen or heard. If anyone had come upon her then, they would have thought her just another shadow. In this manner the hobbit made her way to the other side of the chamber. She pressed herself against the vine-covered wall, listening. The only sound to be heard was the breathing of her companions several yards away. But Ashari could feel something like a cool breath of air. There was a breeze coming through the thick vines on the wall where she was standing. Quietly she took a small switchblade out of her pocket and began to cut away the vines. Soon she discovered that one brick was missing from the wall. Ashari bent down and looked throught the hole.

At first she was blinded by the light, but it only seemed bright because of the blackness of the chamber. In fact a pale, shimmering light was filling the room she was looking into. The light came from a small hole in the room's ceiling and reflected off a clear, blue pool in the center of the room. Growing along the walls were not evil-looking vines, but a sweet-smelling herb that Ashari had not seen before. She stuck her hand through the hole in the wall and tore off a few fistfulls of the herb and put them in her cloak pocket.

When Ashari turned around she was face-to-face with the sorcerer. Suddenly Ashari realized that there was no way out; she was trapped in the corner. The hobbit whipped her staff from it's case on her back and prepared to fight the sorcerer single handedly, knowing she would lose and praying her friends would come to help her.

[Neothen]

"Molkavitch, stop." *Neothen, ran over to the sorcerer named Molkavitch.* "We need the herb for a friend."
"But no one is allowed to take the herb of Arloth."
"I know, but as you can see I need the herb aswell."
"I can't allow anyone to take the herb without the ancients permission."
"Are you blind cant you see that I have taken Deity form which means I am one of the ancients."
"That may be true but no one knows you have eccept these mortals. Therefore I must stop you at all costs." *The sorcerer unshieths his sword and wields it toward Ashari. Neothen pulls out his sword and blocks Molkavitch's attack. Then Neothen throws Molkavitch againts the vines. Molkavitch dives at Neothen with full force.*

[Nevavarein]

nev. suddenly got in front of neothen and blocked Molkavitch's attack. Mulkavitch was surprised, for nev. had been lurking behind a vine waiting for a moment to come out. ;) That didnt help him at all because as he was pondering over how he missed being able to see nev behind the vine, Neothen had made a quick movement and had Mulkavitch's sword in his hand.

[Neothen]

"Thank you Nev. Take Ashari out of here as fast as you can. I have a score to settle." *Neothen turned to Molkavitch which was standing still staring at his sword.* "Let me take the herb this once, I will not take it again."
"I think you've let these mortals poison your mind."
"Those mortals saved middle earth from the creature you fear most not to long ago. I don't wan't to kill you."
"I've been the guardian of the herb for years now and I'm going to make it so no one will get it ever again." *Suddenly the temple started shaking and falling apart.*
"Everyone get out, the temple is caving in." *Neothen yelled running to help Ashari.*

[HobbitGirl]

When Molkavitch had swung his sword at Ashari, she ducked. However, Ashari was so preoccupied with trying to attack the sorcerer that the hobbit had brought her head up too soon and bashed her forehead against the hilt of Molkavitch's sword. When the temple began to cave in Ashari was lying dazed but awake on the stone floor. The sound of stones the size of small dogs crashing onto the floor a few inches away from her was enough to bring her to her senses. Wearily she began to heave herself up off the floor, but before Ashari could get up Neothen scooped the hobbit up in his great arms and was running.

[Anira the Elf]

outside the cave, Canan and Lir were anciously awating the return of thier friends. suddenly they felt the earth tremble. The rest of the company came hurteling out at full speed, except Ashari who was bouncing along under Neothen's arm.:D

" What on the face of middle earth was THAT!!" Canan sputtered out, amazed and suprised.

[Neothen]

"Molkavitch caved in the temple trying to kill us." *Neothen put the hobbit down and felt a sharp object in his arm. He pulled a small throwing knife that was stuck in his arm.* "It's a Nillrinian blade." *Neothen and Canan showed great fear looking at the knife.* "The herb won't help this it is said that when the skin is pearced(SP) by this blade then the victim will become a monster." *Neothen took a peice of the herb and gave the rest to Liriel. He ate his small peice and his hair regained its collor along with his eyes and cloths.* "I must find the Arlithian orb thats the only thing that can cure this process."

[HobbitGirl]

Ashari stood up and dusted herself off. She had quite regained her senses but still had a large, shiny bruise on her forehead. "All that trouble just for a bit of herb!" she muttered to herself. She said to Neothen, "If we are going to try and steal property from another sorcerer, then I sugest we do it a little more stealthily. This time our plan of attack should be speed and secrecy instead of trying to defeat the sorcerer. The last time we tried that-" and here Ashari jabbed her thumb back towards the ruined temple "-everything nearly ended in disaster."

[Anira the Elf]

the first thing Liriel regained was her hearing. she heard something about a temple, and eathquake and stealing. Very confuzed, she tried to ask what in the world they were talking about. only a little groan escaped her mouth, but her friend hear it...

[Neothen]

*Canan looked over at Liriel.* "Shes awake." *Canan walked over to her and put his hand on her forehead to sooth her.* "I can tell you young people recover fast."
"Master I think you should look at this." *Neothen walked over to Canan holding up his arm. Canan jumped back looking at the wound that was driping with blood.* "Your going into the first stage. If we don't wrap that wound then all your blood will be drained."

[Anira the Elf]

Lir sat up and cluched her forehead. " wh- where am i?? and what happened?" then a srearing(sp) pain went through her head again. she layed back and on the ground to rest while the company explained the story...

[Nevavarein]

nev. looked back at the temple, then at neothen's arm, then at lir. The temple was beyond help, it was ruined, Neothen was trying to find something for his arm soo nev. gave him one of her cloths to warp it up. and lir was listening as the others told her the story. sudenly i saw something coming towards us from the south. It was black and seemed to move as though it was a swarm. then i saw, an army of orcs. coming our way. I yelled "LOOK, to the south orcs have heard of our coming we must flee at once. there is no way we can take a whole army of orcs about 6,000 strong!! We must go now!!!"

[Anira the Elf]

as nev. whistled for the horses, she tried to make haste, but fell over.:D "Uh... can someone help me???"

[Neothen]

*Canan noticed that Liriel needed help. He whistled and a black horse came out of nowhere. Neothen helped Liriel onto the horse and Canan got on behind her.* "I'm getting to old for this." *Neothen turned into an eagle and landed on Canan's shoulder.*

[Anira the Elf]

"Thanks a lot, canan. your the best." she said as she was boosted up. " your not old at all Neothen. u look hardly past 400. i mean, how old could u be?":D ;)

[Nevavarein]

nev. looked at the others then yelled "Let's go!" while kicking the sides of her horse and going off towards the north at a great speed.

[Neothen]

OOC: It was Canan that said he was getting to old and Neothen is 38 and Canan's 73.



IC:*Canan turned to Neothen.* "The orb is being shiped to the Storm elders mountain watch. I suggest you fly there as soon as possible."
"Yes master."
*Neothen flew off to the south-east.*
"He won't be gone for more than two days."

nev. then looked around at the others just standing there and came back saying "You guys cannot just stand here or those orcs will kill you! We must all go now!" Then nev went back towards the east again.

*Neothen flew high above the company and watched them disa pear. He flew for most of the day until he finaly landed on a tree from fatigue(SP). There, Neothen caught a squirrel and ate it, he then went to sleep.*

[Anira the Elf]

'Ouch!' Lir exclaimed as she was josled around by the horse. ' this is going to be an eventful ride yet,' she says sarcasticly while rubbing her backside.

The orcs were fast comming on. But as Lir looked closer she saw that these were no ordinary orcs they were...

*Neothen soon woke up and he flew high looking for the mountain palace. Neothen finally reached the palace. He landed on the top and spotted Tarrock, the leader of the storm people. Neothen took human form and spoke to Tarrock.* "Tarrock it's me Neothen I'm looking for the Arlithian orb.
"It just arrived go to the top tower," *Tarrock replied. Neothen nodded and ran to the top tower. There sat the orb with its swirling colors. Neothen touched it and his body became tense. The cut on his arm healed and he regained full strength. Neothen then turned into an eagle and started back towards his companions.*

nev. also looked around and saw the orcs coming close. They were catching up every second so, looking forward and seeing a city, nev. then yelled "Lets go to that city" while pointing up ahead "They may be able to help us!"

" yes!! yes!! lets hurry." said Lir in full suport of Nev.'s idea.

As they thundered toward the City, Lir looked up and saw an eagle overhead. " look! *points upward* Its Neothen !!!( she didn't know how she knew, except that she just...knew, somehow.) *waves arms to get his attencion(major sp)*

*he alights on the back of the horse*

"are u ok??" Did u get healed??... u don't look that good?? *feels his forhead ;) *"

"We thought you wouldn't make it,Neothen"said the dark knight(untill now silent, sorry about that),"you really are a brave mage" the knight looked at Liriel,"even sick she is the most beatifull thing in the world....Let's hurry to the city"

"I'm fine, I'll fly to the city to warn them of the oncoming orcs." *Neothen flue towards the city and took human form there.* "Orcs are coming prepare for battle!"

as the company finally got to the village they saw them all ready for battle. The gates were open so we went through them but they were closed as soon as we were in as to not let any orcs in. when the orcs came the battle started. all of the company that could, were helping to fight off the orcs. nev first started helping with nev.'s bow and arrow since the orcs had not came in yet. But then a big crash was heard as the gates came tearing down and a bunch of orcs came in. So nev. then went down and helped the other swordsman and the other people of the company

*Canan threw back a lot of orcs with his staff. Neothen struck down many with his sword. Both of them went back to back.*

nev. and the others fought furiosly as undreds of orcs were coming in. The other villagers were also fighting tryng as best as they could. Some were not even old at all. It seemed they had got whoever they could to fight. It seemed as though there was too many orcs then what they could deal with, but then an army of men came from the east and helped the villager
