I couldn't find a thread specifically for new pictures, so I'm starting one. So Board Monitors, if there is one, please redirect this there.

Dear LadyGaladriel - this entire thread is "new pictures Beware of Spoilers" so if you don't want to see spoilers, this isn't the place for you.

On the other hand - if you've read the books, how much 'spoiling' could there be here? Hmmmmm???

I for one am hungry for every new photo (except for orcs) I can get my greedy eyeballs glued to! Viva la "New Pictures" threads everywhere.

well I made a pact with myself that when I saw tt I wouldn't have seen any pictures ect and its so hard cause Im anticipating it so much :)

p.s I have read the books if that what your hinting at so it there cant be any plot spoiling but there can be actors ect spoliers :D heheheheheee gotcha there!

Hm...I don't know the exact history of the rings, but here is the shot from the prologue showing the three rings... I don't know if Cirdan had the ring at this point or not though. By the way, if Cirdan is here he'd be the white haired one, since the one with the black hair is shown to be Gil-galad. The website claims the white haired one is Cirdan, but who knows :):

Those are excellent. Gandalf and his staff look beautiful this time. He looked so much scruffier in FOTR as if he had lived in that gray outfit for the last thousand years. And he won't have to carry a tree branch for a staff. Yea! I love the costuming for Eowyn and the added shots of Rivendell, just so all of those art-deco settings won't go to waste.
I also got a big laugh of the pic of Legolas with a hand holding a light meter in front of him.

Found these images over at Fantasy Planet. They appear to have been scanned from one of the recently released TTT books, but as I don't read any languages but English and a wee bit of Spanish so I can't tell you where these folks got them. Follow the links below to check them out as well as my interpretations of them. :)

This one is of Treebeard with a hobbit in each hand. Merry is kind of in the middle of the pic and Pippin is to the far left. Don't they look surprised?

This image is of Aragorn apparently taking a suit of chain mail for himself. I am guessing this is either in Rohan or at Helm's Deep. I think it's Helm's Deep.

This image is in the Golden Hall, if I am not very much mistaken. Wormtongue is weaving his lies in the ear of Theoden who is still very much the haggard old weakling king.

It appears that the following image is from the scene where Samwise is being strangled by Gollum and Frodo is threatening Gollum's life. Gollum looks a wee bit fake here but probably because that is a rubber model used for the photo.

Ok, when I first saw this picture I was like 'What the heck is Aragorn hanging onto Eowyn for?' But I believe that I may have a plausible theory. This part may be at the healing of Theoden and Gandalf is encouraging Theoden to rise up from his throne. In the book it says that Eowyn began to rush forward to aid her king, but that Gandalf commanded her to stay back. Possibly in this scene she will begin to do the same as in the book, but Aragorn will catch her by the elbow and hold her back. Also you can see Legolas and Gimli to Eowyn's left, our right.
