this is the Guild of Wizards. Here we will discuss the events of Middle Earth and other important issues. This is supposed to be modeled after The White Council from LOTR. So basicly we are a group of Wizards.

Ok i think there is some confusion. You do not need to be a REAL Wizard to join this guild. In fact i am a Christian. You see it is just supposed to be formed like the Wizards from the books. Yes you can join Eomer. I want to wait to have a couple more members to have the first meeting, so we shall find out then;)

Ok, this is getting way out of hand my origanal plan for this guild was to have a guild modeled after the White Council from LOTR. I do not want religion being a big question in here. Yes I also read non-Christian books and i never said you couldn't. I also think what Aerin meant by majic was the spell casting and such.
Blanka I would prefer that you become more involved in the Forum before you become a serious member here. I do not mind if you stay though.

I can clean up after your meetings and prior to them have everything ready to go.

You guys can't be as bad as a bunch of drunken Nazgul trashing the rooms at Carn-dum (thier little "get-away" spot now). Last time they were there I spent weeks cleaning up and repairing the damage (thier girl-friends are just as bad too!). Oh yeah-it's even worse when "the boss" decides to mingle with his troops. You've never seen anything as silly as Sauron himself, pissed to the gills, doing a strip tease with a lampshade on his head! Kind of makes it hard to fear them as much as everyone does. I'm actually safe from their torment as I have pictures and they know if anything ever happens to me the pics get sent to Elrond and Galadriel. You think the Black Breath is bad when their sober? Try it when they have been drinking!

Okie dokie then. This is officially the 1st meeting of the Guild of Wizards. I want to thank all the people who have joined and hope that you all will stay dedicated. For the first meeting I would like each "Wizard" to assign himself a color. I will be Mithrandir the White(or Gandalf, whichever you prefer:D ) Once that is done I might set up a rank system but I am not sure yet:confused:

Here is a reminder of who are officially members, Talerin(she won't be here till Fri, grounded:( ) , Aerin, Melian,King Eormer,Ness,and JanitorofAngmar is our janitor:D :D .

Yeah.... Melkor (I've never called him Morgoth...he hates the name Morgoth) imbued me with the ability to take a corporal form..... I look kinda of like a really dark Sir Galahad when in my human existence....but I have to ready to revert back to a mace on a moments notice (although I'm sure I don't know why... he's only used me in combat a few times). and Kem Alporadisha!!!! you're beautiful again. Warts are gone and your appearance returns to normal. I'm evil but am also really a nice guy. (Gosh, I haven't acted this silly in years.)

Mith looks the Wizards in the eye and tells them never to mess w/ his friends or he will be forced to put forth his full power which increases everyday, and you don't want the Master of Wizards to do that:D .

I think the ME we refer to is the one we have 'created' on this board. We would still be using the geography of Tolkien's ME, but with our own situations.

Let us elaborate on our magicks.

Gold is fair to look upon, and can be made into beautiful things; but it causes greed and destruction. Therefore, Golden magick is both good, and evil. Golden magick can be used in the following areas:

1) Affecting emotions
2) Control of Luminous Phenomenon (light)
3) Control of Electrical Phenomenon (due to gold's high conductivity)

Your magick should coincide with your particular color (Black-death magick; White-life magick; Blue-water magick; Silver-divine magick, etc.) Black and Red are the generally evil magicks; White, silver, and grey magicks are inherently good; and the other colors are neutral.

Most of my powers are over living things, animals and trees (ei: the bee in Gronds hood). But, naturally, i also have some powers over light, and water ect.... (the weather) :)And also some enchanting/dream/vision powers. AND all of my powers are shown by singing (its funner that way). Don't mess with me im a Maia, lol :D

btw. i really don't see why eveyone has to have a different colour...

Well, I'd like to be either Black or Gold. Although Beige might be interesting; sort of a telekinetic magick, to be used for either Good or Evil. "All hail Asha'man the Beige!" I think not. "Bend knee to Asha'man the Gold!" Maybe. "Lie down and die for Asha'man the Black!" I like it! :D Okay, I'll be Black.

I think we should keep in mind that the folks (Wizzes) with the same colors could form groups, Ajahs, that do stuff as a like-minded (or at least color-coordinated) body. Therefore, since all of us have colors, any future members don't have to search for some obscure color or kill an existing member and take their color. Just a thought.

Dengen, I think you would make a good Black Wizard (Necromancer). There can be more than one of the good (white, grey, crystalline) and evil (black, red) wizards, but the neutral wizards are one-of-a-kind.

My powers are a bit out of the ordianry. There my Riverdaughter powers (anyone remember the Mithmor?) that i always use when im roleplaying... This means im netural? I would like to change my colour (pale yellow looks good on me, but its tacky :D) but thats ok, i can live with it

ok y'all I think I have officially come to a conlusion, that being that we will all be equal in power but w/ our powers pertaining to our colors, blue can be ice and water, red fire, and so forth. I will be the leader seeing as I started the guild therefore my powers will be evened out so I have control over almost anything. I may call in really serious members to be back up leaders with me, and they will be able to get little power boosts.

but for the most part we shall be equal, this enables to have a smooth council with no arguments.

Here is the official list of Wizards who are in the Guild, I will be creating a final post on the Hall of Fire where the Guild will officially meet, if you would like to join the guild please ask here and then you can post there. I realize I can not force anyone to post but I would appreciate if you only would if you are on this list. Ok here is the List:

Thanks for the colours Ciryaher. Have to challenge your concepts of white/black magic though. All magic is neutral - like electricity it can heal or harm. If 2 people were being interviewed for a job with very similar CVs, qualifications etc and magic was used to enhance one person's chances for them it would be white magic, for the other black so use of those terms is meaningless.

Colour magic and energies are more usually classified as:
Red - emotions, sexuality
Orange - willpower
Yellow - intellect
Green - fertility
Blue - healing
Indigo - wisdom
Violet - spiritual
White - all colours
Black - no colour, void
Silver - witchcraft/lunar deities
Gold - ritual magic/solar deities

I beg to differ with the idea that magic is all the same. You see... There are different forms of magic, for instance, Necromancy. Heals no one, kills all (Unless you count making minions a good thing) But you are right about electricity harming one and healing another. But that would be a curious situation seeing as i don't know anyone who can be healed by electricity. Really... Magic is white or black depending on who's hands the magic is in. Give a evil person white magic he can turn it for bad uses. Give a good person black magic he can also turn it for good uses. To say they are both the same is wrong. Different abilities come with each type of magic as well... white magic is expected to more of a healing magic and black magic is suspected to be more like fire magic and such. But think about that. That is my concept for black/white magic.
