Current RP Timeline

(I know this thread was created before...but frankly I can't find it.)

Could someone tell me what is the the current RP time for the current Goverment and War RPG threads. I was told that it is approx. 1000 years after the war of the ring....I just want to verify if this is the correct time....Thank you!

Yes, I'd say that the In-Character Forum Time (ICFT) lies between 800 and 1000 years into the Fourth Age.

good lord, how many times have I pushed for this to be solidified? I wanted to make a good timeline for people to look back on, like the entire fourth age, according to the forum. But, frankly, I received an extremely limited amount of support...

Excellent. With Elbereth's name on the thread, there is finnaly support. The hardest part will be finding the time periods that we will have to guestemate... we will need Ideas on


The first major event to happen in TTF (where to seperate from Tolkien's timeline and our own). I am going to say that it would probably be the rise of the new dark lord, or the birth of Ciryaher (or whomever was the king of Gondor/Arnor in RP 5)

And years for the following events, or if someone could just supply how long each happened after the one before it.

Arnor becomes Empire/encompasses all of Eraidor
Eomer becomes King of Rohan
Arandor founded- later surrendered to Gondor
Arnor, Gondor, and Mordor wage war upon WC and allies.
Himling Rebuilt- later conquored by Arnor
Founding of the Mornclaur Federation
Dor-Taur-Sir founded/ elves of Mirkwood depart or go into final hiding
Beorn, King of Gondor, dies/ Valar and Elebreth reign in Gondor
Mornclaur moves, war is kendled.
Mithrandir and Talerin take Eomer Demention's rule of Rohan, Eomer dissapears


I was trying to go for a basic-lands were claimed, won; Death/rise of rulers; and war times. And, of course, any event's that were missed by this hasty list, please speak up about them. Or, of course, if you don't think something belongs.

Great idea Elessar! I fully support this time line. It will be a great help in my new rpg, 'The Cries Unheard', rpg 53.

RPG 53 will fill in the gaps between the War of the Ring and the current rpg time. It's going to be a six chapter epic! It should be great!

Anyway...if you need any help with the timeline, let me know...I will do my best to assist you.
