Lighthearted war

Can we start a war for the mithril knights in the light hearted section? Lighthearted so all the minis and germs and carrion bees and deer riders can be in it.

I haven't read any of the RP rules - probably should since I want to start my own RP... We should split ourselves up into two groups and fight each other. We could make up a way to determine who wins the battles etc. Each person could be either a general, soldier under the command of someone else, or whatever. Just some ideas... Ummm... I don't know what my creatures are going to be yet - I haven't even thought about it.

Yeah, we could do it that way too. I was just thinking that we could, you know, brush up on our fighting skills while fighting a nice, friendly war. :D That way we could crush anyone who fights us in the future.

well we have a battle arena for that. :eek: WE COULD DO TAG TEAM BATTLES THERE!!!! back on topic-itd be like a private rp. Just for us mithril knights. We wont exactly be fighting the same opponent twice.

say i dunno something like an army of orcs taking over the world. We could invite others to play the orcs or we could do it like we control the bad guys and decide what happens. I like the 2nd one because you cant kill off main charecters,

great. Next we need a story. We cant just have a huge fight where we kill people. I actually like the one where orcs try to take over the world. They can be led by a king orc Azog the 4th or something.

Hmmm... do orcs really have that much self-motivation? Perhaps we could have an evil race of men?

IVE GOT IT! Evil men who create orcs! We have to keep in mind that this takes place many years after gandalf, elrond, and everyone else left. No gimli, no legolas, aragorn is dead, and celeborn is in rivendell. Now for the story. we have the plot-just need the story.

We could be in Gondor, and one of us could be the king. Our lands are being threatened by the peoples of Harad, Umbar, and Khand down south, and we make begin to start fighting them. The enemy, however, is very strong and powerful and is able to win victory after victory. They push into ME, and it is soon apparent that they mean to conquer the world and set up an evil regime. So, the kingdoms of ME set up an alliance (this would allow us to have dwarves, hobbits, a few elves, etc.) to counter these attacks.

Just one thing though... Shouldn't we just have something like all the remaining orcs after the battle before the gates of Morannon go south and meet up with an evil man? I just don't think that men should be able to create orcs as it isn't really possible. OR... We could use the wonderful and mysterious Blue Wizards and say that they turned evil and are making creatures of their own. Just some thoughts.

well i personally don't like the idea of us playing the villians and the good guys. becasue that would make it way to easy for us to win. i think we should invite another guild to be the orcs/evil men...

we cant directly kill another player. It would just be a month of nothing. The mithril knights are supposedly a secret organization. We can have a concealed fort in Ithilien. I like the blue wizard idea-we can make alliance with gondor, rohan, dwarves, elves, MINIS!!!!!( :mad: ) and any one else. okay-the blue wizards creating huge and valiant orcs who dont fear sun, who are very well trained in battle and are 5 tiems stronger than the uruk hai. He sends them to conquer the world. now whos the fastest typer? Im not t took me 5 minutes to type this. Whoever it is should type up the story.

heres the story:

The Mithril Knights have a hidden fort in Ithilien. Their army is all over the place though. Every night, heavy footsteps are heard a few feet away from the fort. Every night another messanger rides to gondor requesting aid. One night there are 2 flashes of blue light over where mordor once stood. A great tower is raised. In that tower thousands of uruk-ghash are created. The men of harad and umbar and khand have joined legions with them. It is soon found out that the ones responsible for all this is the mysterious blue wizards. The mithril Knights ride to gondor. They get aid from gondor, rohan, east lorien, wood of the grean leaves (as mirkwood is called), Dale, and rivendell. and the army of the knights come together.

Okay-this is the outline basically. Its my 1st time writing an rp story so if you have any thing you want to change just say.

Looks pretty good to me. Just a couple things though. I think that for a while it should just be Gondor fighting against the blue wizards because we (the Mithril Knights) shouldn't know right off the bat that they plan to take over the entire world. Also, it shouldn't be too aparent that the army amassed in Mordor is so huge. I think you should mention something about it taking a while for us to find these things out, and then when situation looks desperate, we finally send out calls of aid telling ME what we fear - after Gondor has fought for a while alone. Also, you should add dwarves from Moria, the Lonely Mountain, Blue Mountains, etc.

okay-large armies group in mordor, harad, khand, and umbar. Gondor and these uruk-ghash fight many battles. The captains of the knights (thats all the people who are in it. They control armis but we are the captains) ride to mordor and investigate. In the mountains a blue light flashes everyso often. While the captains are there a tower is raised. Then we find that they wish to rule the world. We send messenagers to the blue mountain, erebor, rivendell, mirkwood, east lorien, moria is already inhabbited by orcs. Ill post a thread so the people who want to play can post their player profiles.

technically mithrandir is our "king". We are a secret army of the White Council. No body knows about us. when we present ourselves to gondor we say we are a band of travelers. I just posted the profile thing btw.

Ok, so we can just say we came from anywhere. So, basically we are going to have a leader of The Mithril Knights, and the rest of us just follow him? If so we'll have to pick him...

we are not a kingdom. We have a brotherhood of knights (ive been reading the guild threads!) which serve as equal leaders. Since i doubt whiterider will be in this rp we could be the brotherhood.

Yeah, I know that we are a knights without a king, but my point is is that we had to come from somewhere before we became Mithril Knights. So, I just figured that this person could have come from Rohan, this from Gondor, etc. I really like the idea of having a brotherhood! It's great! BTW, are there any dwarves, elves, or hobbits in our midst? Or are we all humans?

yes, i guess we all did come from somewhere. Post it in the profile thread below. I said i came from the Numenorean country in the iron hills. If anyone wants to play another race they can do it. In the profile post if you have a creation.

Gondor is constantly fighting orcs that assail Minas Tirith. These orcs are bigger, stronger, and more fearsome than uruk-hai. The Mithril Knights, who have a hidden fort in Ithilien see the "uruk-ghash (orcs of fire) running by their fort towards gondor. Their army is all over the place though, so they cant attack them. Every night, heavy footsteps are heard a few feet away from the fort. Every night gondor is attacked. The brother hood of knights decide to ride to the east to spy on these creatures. One night, while they are riding close to mordor there are 2 flashes of blue light in the mountains. A great tower is raised there. In that tower thousands of uruk-ghash are created. The mithril knights spy some more and find that the mysterious blue wizards have raised the tower and started this. The men of harad and umbar and khand have joined legions with them. The story starts with the brotherhood observing the blue wizards raising the tower and thousands of orcs pouring out of the mountain. Each time one comes out a blast of blue fire can be seen in the mountain (hence the name uruk-ghash). The brotherhood then ride to gondor to inform the king of his peril. Messangers ride from gondor to get aid from any who will come. a PRIVATE RP for mithril knights.
