Nenya sat for a moment not sure if she was glad to be concious or not because she was in so much pain. This was a nightmare and only got worse! Now Eliot was going to the machine.... All of the Knights hands were undone by this time, but they made sure to keep the rope around their wrists so that nothing looked amiss. They hoped that the orcs would be fooled once they were inspected more closely. Nenya smiled her thanks at Nauriel and listened to the conversation.

soon all the knights had been thouroughly tortured. The orcs shoved them onto their feet and forced them into a dungeon. but this dungeon was not under ground. It was high aloft the tower. The orcs dragged the knights up the many stairs and locked them in an extremely high chamber many hundreds of feet above ground. Anamatar walked over to the one small window. Suddenly the fear and weariness left him. "We are suspended over the very place we wished to be!" out of the chamber and a few furlongs away the mountains where the urul-ghash were created stood. The knights looked onto the top of it. It was hollowed. A smouldering fire burned inside. From inside the fire orcs flocked out.

"We are where we wanted to be, but there's not much we can do..." then Nauriel approached the window at looked around. Her keen, piercing eyes noticed nothing in the air. No help was coming yet. Then she looked into the very place where orcs were created. She was stunned with what she saw. Around the light whence the orcs came from she saw three pairs of eyes, cruel eyes that mesmorized (Is that the right word?) Nenya. "The creature we saw! There are at least three of them around the foul fire! Maybe those are the 'eyes' the orcs mentioned!"

OOC: UGH! i already told everyone that i meant big GUYS but made a mistake and meant the wizards. Now you HAD to go and rub it in didnt ya! ;)
IC-Anamatar sat down against the wall. "Nothing to be done. Though we are close enough to see the very fire where uruk-ghash are born we are still confined." anamatar looked out the windor again. A black spec was flying towards them. It held a large basket with its claws. Soon the bird dropped the basket atop the chamber. Onto the roof of where the knights stood. Galdor smiled as he spoke. "Surastea has retreived our weapons." anamatar looked up. "But a wall of steel still seperates us from them.

Nenya had been looking at their surroundings and analyzing them in hopes of finding a weakness. So far she had found nothing. The only exits from the room was heavy iron door on one side of the room which led out to the outer chamber where their orc guards sat and the two windows: one on either side of the chamber. Nenya heard Nauriel, stood up from where she had been sitting on the floor, and walked slowly over to the window feeling sore in every joint. She looked out. Down, down her eyes went along the side of the smooth stone tower to a plain and a little westward, and then away to the mountains out of which came a steady outpour of orcs, smoke, and fire. Then she saw what Nauriel had reported: the eyes were glowing a sickly yellow so that they shone out even above the blaze of the flames which burned around them. Nenya went a deathly pale and covered her face with her hands. "I am afraid I will never be able to look into those eyes again without feeling their affect!" she said slowly uncovering her face and gaining mastery over herself once more. Nauriel gave her a comforting glance, but Nenya didn't see it for she was looking out the window again, but this time avoiding the evil eyes.
Suddenly she laughed - not a grim laugh but a laugh of joy. "Hey! My mind must have been extremely muddled or something! Look what I have?" Anamatar and Nauriel looked at her expectantly while the rest of the Knights around the chamber gathered around being startled out of their thoughts by Nenya's laugh. Nenya reached down into her boot and drew out a knife and tossed it into the air in with a spin. She caught it and put it into the astonished hands of Anamatar with another laugh. "I've got many more too - plenty for all with more to spare. I don't know why I didn't think of this before!" She went off into a short spasm of laughter.

anamatar looked at the small knife that barely reached across his hand. "You FOOL OF AN ELF! We were tortured by orcs and the entire time you had these bloody blades!" anamatar clenched his hand around the handle of the blade and shook his head mockingly. "Trust an elf to forget where she hid her weapons!" The two orc guards had heard all of what the knights said. They came to the heavy iron doors with a spear in hands. "GIve us the knifes!" anamatar walked slowly to the door and, through the bars, told the orc "Ive been around you creatures too long without slaying one." anamatar then took the knife and stabbed the orcs neck. He then ran to the back of the room avoiding the other orcs spear.

"Can't say that I don't deserve all the torchure I got for not remembering this!" Nenya was still laughing even as the orc spear was hurled at Anamatar from the clumsy orc's hands. It missed by a yard or more. Anamatar laughed then as well.
"Yes, you deserved the torchure, but we didn't!"
Nenya gave him a quick grin as she quietly slit the throat of an orc who had just come into the room from the door which was now open. There were only six orcs left in the outer room, and they were all too angry to even think about calling for help. Four more knives appeared in Nenya's hands, and from there they went into the hand's of the other Mithril Knights. "They wouldn't have done much anyway!" Nenya told Anamatar as he picked up the spear and stabbed it into the belly of a large orc who had just come up behind him. "We were surrounded by orcs and would probably have all been dead. As it is now, they don't know we have the knives, these orcs are almost dead, and we only have to find our way to the top of the tower to retreive our weapons." Galdor slew an orc right next to Nenya's feet and she laughed to see it fall. "Make sure you give me back all the knives! I'll hold anyone acountable for any lost ones." Nenya saw the nods from the busy Mithril Knights. At that moment one of the two remaining orcs decided that it might be a good idea to call for help and made a furious attempt to make it to a bell hung on the wall of the guard room. He only made it half way before a knife flung from Nenya's hands stayed his attempt. Knives were her forte in weapons, and Nenya had enjoyed every bit of the fight. "Now we have spears as well, Mr. Anamatar!" she said giving a cruel orc spear a kick as it lay on the ground.

anamatar gave the two knives back to nenya. He picked up the spear. "I guess I could swing it or slash with it or something. Or ya know. Maybe ill just take that axe." anamatar walked over to a dead orc and took his battle axe. He then walked out of the chamber with spear and axe in hand. "How do we get from down here to up there?" anamatar tapped the ceiling with the spear.

Nauriel walked over a dead orc looking amused by Nenya's enjoyment. Then she walked to the window in the hall where the guards were. It was small, but still big enought for her to slip through. "I have an idea! Take all the belts from orcs, and give me yours too! We'll make a rope, and I'll try to climb the walls and get to the roof! Then I'll pass the basket to you!" With a swift move, Nauriel broke the window, and checked out the tower sides while others were making a long rope. The tower was made of rough huge stone blocks, and they were suitable for a climb. Well, a deadly climb. "thank Eru I'm an Elf!" Naurile thought. Then she tied one side of the "rope" to her waist, and gave the other side to her friends to hold. "Make sure you don't drop it!" Then she began her climb. Her injuries hurt, and she felt weak, but still, she managed to slowly climb up the tower. Then she jumped to the flat roof of the tower, and tied the basket to the "rope". She pulled it twice, so the knights would know she was descending the bag with their weapons. with some noise, the knights pulled the basket throught the window. It was now Nauriel's turn to descend. Just as she was preparing, she saw a dark spot flying towards the tower. It wasn't Sureatsa. It was one of the dragons. It approached quickly, apparently it noticed first Sureatsa, and then Nauriel on the roof. She had no time to climb down, the creature was in the range of fire-blowing. She quickly pulled the rope twice, and then jumped into the abyss. She could only hope her friends were holding the other side of the ropes. She swung, and kicked the tower wall, but she didn't fall. The knights pulled her into the tower, just a second before the dragon blew his fiery breath on them. They all fell to the ground, and that saved them from burns. "quick! We must flee! The orcs are alarmed!"

"What about Sureast?" Nenya asked, "Could she bring the swords to the window? I'm sure we could retreive them from there." She walked over to one of the widows and looked out and up. "We'd just have to do it in a way that doesn't attract attention. I guess it really wouldn't be any different than if someone was out on the roof...." Nenya hadn't spoken quickly enough for Nauriel was already out the window. She watched breathlessly as the events took place. When the dragon approached, she and the other Knights braced themselves and pulled Nauriel in. Nenya, having retreived her knives, listened to Nauriel's story and immediately followed the knights out of the small room. They were going to have to find a way out of the Tower secretly or they were as good as prisoners again. Nenya made up her mind that she might just keep her knives hidden again - until the very last.

anamatar picked up his sword out of the pile. He was now enjoying himself more than nenya. Narmacil gleamed in pleasure to be in his masters hands. Anamatar went to the window and threw the spear and the axe at the last dragon left upon earth. "Let us go hunt some orc!"

OOC - "Let's hunt some orc"!?!?!?!?!! You should have said "I'll be back" with a german accent!!!;) :p (I'll delete this soon)
Nauriel took her two precious swords and her dagger. she hid them in her cloack, and then took her bow and quiver. "I'm ready! It's high time to flee! I'm sick of orc-food" Now Nauriel was the most excited one, the adventure is much more interesting when you have your weapons! She ran down the stairs of the tower, and shot two orc-guard who were climbing up. "Hurry! The guard isn't here yet!"

Anamatar sheathed his sword and leaped down the stairs after nauriel. Suddenly he stopped. He remembered that there were still 4 knights not coming down. "Where are the others?" anamatar asked. No orcs were coming up for THE BELL HAD NOT BEEN RUNG ( ;) ). "I will go get them." anamatar ran back up the stairs to the chamber.

Galdor had just grabbed his sword, daggers and knives, when Anamatar ran back up the stairs to get him and the other three that were still grabbing thier swords. He he sheathed all of his weapons as he walked to where the Nenya and Nauriel were waiting and said, "I had Sureatsa hide our packs also, when we get out of here I will have her bring them to us." He then looked up and called Sureatsa down, and held her for a while, well he and the others decided how they were going to get out of the tower unseen.

Nenya and Nauriel stood at the bottom of the stairway and looked around a corner. They were in a dim hall lit by torches, and everything around them was silent. "Perhaps we should go back up so that we do not risk meeting any orcs!" Nenya said. Nauriel agreed, and the two of them made their way quietly up the staircase and stood guard at the top.

anamatar and the other knights came to where Nenya and Nauriel stood. "As quick we may! To the door!" anamatar leapt down a flight of stairs with the knights following. No orcs were seen yet nor any other creature but still Narmacil was as a bright fire. It grew as the knights got closer to the ground.

They were winding down staircase after staircase and had, as of yet, seen no sign of anyone. Then, as they rounded the last stretch of the stairs and came around a corner of the curved stairway, they saw the back of an orc standing motionless like a sentinel. Nenya put out her arm and stopped the Knights and together they crept back behind the bend. "This is where our stealth ends I'm afraid!" Nenya whispered. "Shall we go this way or try to find a different way out?" To her this way didn't look so hopeful, but she knew that they might not have a choice and that this might be the only way down from the uppermost parts of the tower.
Anamatar IV
10-09-2002, 01:38 AM
Anamatar spoke. "I say we slay him and run. There is only 1 orc. We must consider ourselves lucky that we didnt come across a legion of orcs coming up the stairs! If we go another way and meet an entire company of orcs in a different place what have we gained? We have only lost time. Time that can not be replenished." anamatar raised his sword silently. "We should attack quickly and quietly."

"You do not undersand my thought!" Nenya answered. "I fear that if there is one orc then there must be more very near, and perhaps in that very same room." She peered around the corner for a moment and then looked back at Anamatar. "However, I think you are probably right. To go back would be folly!"
Galdor

"I will take him out with a throwing knife when everyone is ready." Setting Sureatsa on to his shoulder Galdor drew one of his throwing knives and waited for the ok from the Knights before stepping around the corner and killing the orc.

the knights leapt into the room and galdor let fly his knife. It struck the orc in the back. The orc fell forward but anamatar caught it by the neck to prevent its iron armor from making noise. Anamatar layed the orc down silently and gave galdors knife back.

Galdor quietly slayed the orc and silently put his body on the floor. There was no response. No one heard the knights. "It's quiet. Too quiet. The dragon must have alarmed the orcs. Where are they? When we were brought, this tower was crowded with uruk-gash! I do not like this. Howerver, let us slip away quietly." Just as Nauriel went for yet another stairway, she cought a glimpse of Anamatar's sword. It was burning with maddened brilliance. Then she looked at one of her swords, Sunray. Its golden light was like the flame of Anor. "Your sword, Anamatar!" then he looked at it as well. His eyes said everything. "Something is approaching us. Something big and powerfull" he said. "I cannot hear anything, and that worries me." she said. "But, there's no turning back! We must get out of here!" Then she ran for the stairs.
Galdor
10-09-2002, 08:18 PM
Galdor caught her a little before she reached the stairs and pulled her back saying, "There is something waiting for us, let us not run into it like fools." anamatar walked up beside Galdor. He did not know why Narmacil was shining. Anamatar placed his hand on the steel of his sword. "It is still cold. Were it an evil of greater power my sword would be warm. Like it was when we fought the balrog. That is releif yet!" anamatar started walking up the stairs. They reached a point in the wall where there was a window. Anamatar looked out carefully. Still assemlbed near the base of cirith ungol was the army of orcs. It was ever massing. It seemed that every orc in the region was there. Then anamatar saw something that meant the doom of the west. The army of the haradrim and the other easterlings approached. They were 10,000 strong. They carried black swords and terrible axes. They joined the massive army of orcs. "it seems we have good luck. THere is not many orcs in this building. But gondor has bad news. Rohan, the elves, and the dwarves have reached their aid but the army will not be great enough to defend against that. My minis will fight. but not even should the army of the mithril knights be bound together from their scattered partys the west will not hold. It is for this reason that I deem we should not leave the tower. We should rather search for Pollando and Alatar in their thrones."
Melian Le Fay
10-09-2002, 09:39 PM
"do you think that our swords are showing us some great evil is present here in this tower? Maybe that's why your sword isn't warm. whatever it is, it's not near us. So, I say, let's head away from here! We cannot just stand in this hallway! Whatever lies ahead, we'll have to face it sooner or later!"

Nenya was thinking and thinking fast. "Nay, we should not seek out the two Lords of this place! It would be folly, for we are only six and they are great and powerful. Rather, we should seek to find the secret behind the making of these great armies and from there seek to destroy whatever allows orcs to be created so quickly. That is my counsel. I, too, agree with Millena that we should leave this tower, for I do not think that what we are searching for is within it, but within the mountain to the west in which the orcs are made. That is where we should go even though it be dangerous. I do not think that our enemies will expect such a move from us."

He and his soldiers then went east and meet easterlings that were coming from the east and attacked them. The infantry then fought against the easterlings and killed many of them. At the same time the both cavalry sides went around the easterlings and encirkled them. The cavalry fought themselfs into the easterling army at the same time as the infantry leaded by Pontucer killed hundreds of easterlings as the easterlings were almost defeated many uruk-gash and men that had been in Gondor attacked them from the west. Pontucer then ordered the right side of the cavalry to keep on fighting against the easterlings and that the other soldiers should fight against the army that came frome west. But in the war-tumult his orders wasn't heard by all his soldiers and many of his soldiers died in the caos that began. But wen his soldiers had changed into the formation he wanted them to they defeated both the easterlings and the uruk-gash and men frome the west. After the victory they went west again and meet up with the rohirrim that had been left in Gondor. But the size of the army had decreased frome 10 000 to 8800 soldiers. "do we kill them? Maybe one of us should check their number. I think I hear another three orcs breathing in there. We must be careful befor we attack, our number is small, and we are still weak" Nauriel said to Nenya and Anamatar.
"But if we are to seek the source of the Wizards' powers, I too agree we should leave this tower and seek the place where the orcs are being made. But the fields around the tower are covered with orcs! How do we pass right through them unseen? The three of us have stealth abilities, but what about others...? Could there be another way? On the dawn of the third day since the Rohirrim had rescued the Elves, the guards on the outer wall of the White City blew their trumpets. Soon the a cry was heard, "The Halflings! The Hobbits have come!" The cry was taken up all over the first level of the city, and soon news reached the King that an army of Hobbits had come to Minas Tirith. There were 3,000 strong, among them were 1,000 archers, 1,500 swordshobbits, and 500 calvalry. They were led by a young, female hobbit covered by a blue cloak and riding a swift, brown-and-tan pony. Her hood was thrown back, and her bright green eyes sparkled in the morning sunlight.
During that day, the young hobbit commander, whose name was Ashari, had gotten permission for her army to stay in the city. However, the hobbits were not idle for long. At nightfall on the day the hobbits arrived, Minas Tirith was attacked by an army of evil men and Uruk-Ghash from the East.
The army of Hobbits watched from afar as the Men of Gondor and Rohan fought the army from the East on the bridge. All at once their line broke, and orcs came rushing at the hobbits. The hobbits charged. They slashed and shot at the orcs, but Ashari, thier commander, was the only one who was literally beating them. Ashari fought in a manner that the orcs and evil men had never seen before. She used her short staff to knock the orcs off of their feet by whacking their kneecaps and sometimes shattering them. Once an orc's head was low enough to the ground for Ashari to reach, she would bring her staff down upon thier head and and shatter thier skull. The battle raged on, neither side appearing to gain any ground.
A high note was heard in the air..the clear ringing of elf-trumpets! Unlooked for by any and unknown by those in the battle a host of 500 Grey-Elven archers and 300 Elven Swordsmen.from Lorien had traveled day and night to the White City until they reached the battle ground. Led by Celebrien they Grey-Elf, descendant of Eol the Dark they joined the hobbits in the melee against the orcs. "Hello friend hobbit!", said Celebrien. "Our spies have given us reports of a great battle waged such has not been seen in a long while, so we decided to give aid. I am Celebrien, of Lorien. It is a pleasure to meet you. Where might I aid your company the most?" (OOC:I was invited by Anamatar, hopefully i have not interrupted anything?)

Ashari smiled. "Your help is graciously accepted!" she said to Celebrien. Looking across the battle field, she added grimly, "A large group of my swordshobbits are losing badly. I have been trying to reach them for the past hour." She pointed to a clump of hobbits fiercely fighting with the evil men. "That is where we are need most," she said. "Will you and your company come with me to help them?"

The Knights, after slaying the three orcs, ran down a stairway that left the room. Nauriel was leading them for her advice seemed good, and they were looking for the ancient tunnels which used to network the evil lands of Mordor together underground. Hopefully the orcs had not yet learned of the tunnels' existence. Nauriel's plan was to make her way down into the basements and cellars of the tower to hopefully find a discarded passagway that would lead them into the network of tunnels. Once inside the tunnels, the Knights would have to decided between a labrynth of passageways and intersections and then attempt to find their way to the Uruk-Ghash mountain. They were not looking forward to the journey, for they did not know what evil they would meet in the depths of the ground.

The stairs became of less quality. Soon they were ruff and jagged. They were sloped and hard to run on. But then the stairs stopped. The knights ran on the solid ground for a long time. Suddenly anamatar spoke. "What food have we? we havent our packs and we have not eaten since cirith ungol." the knights kept running. soon they came to a dark tunnel.

Back at the White City....
Celebrien takes his 150 most able swordsmen and 250 archers and directs them to the fiercest part of the battle where the hobbits are surrounded. He then takes the remainder of his army and divides it in half, leaving him with 2 parts of 75 swordsmen and 125 archers. "Move around the to the left and right sides of the enemy and then close in on them when I blow a blast on my trumpet. Do not engage the enemy until then! This will be a devastating attack on the foul creatures! You have 15 minutes. Go now!" Celebrien turns and promptly cuts off an orc's head.

Celebrien blasted on his trumpet and the elves charged, Ashari and a handfull of hobbits with them. They engaged the orcs that had surrounded the hobbits and slayed most of them, and the rest fled in terror. The weary hobbits cheered.
Their joy did not last long, however. A host of fresh Uruk-Ghash came in from the East. There were trolls among them. The hobbits, who had never seen any creature so huge, were overcome with fear. Ashari shouted orders to keep them from scattering and running.
Celebrien pulls a large vial out of his pack and throws it to the hobbit. "Give them all some of this it will help ease their fear." He draws his blades and charges against a troll and slays it singlehandedly. Celebrien regathers his archers and forms them into lines of 20. They begin fire on the trolls.

Pontucer and the soldiers at the bridge had almost defeated the orchs and evil men at the bridge when a huge host of evil men attacked them. Pontucer went into the battlefield where the other rohirrim and elves in his army where and ordered al except 1000 rohirrim to come to the bridge. When they came there Pontucer ordered them to attack the evil men. The evil men wasn't prepared for that more rohirrim would attack and they where pushed back. The rohirrim killed many of them and even more of them felled into the river and drowned. At the end of the day the last evil men gave up.

soon the knights came to a window. There they stopped. Away in the distance an object was running fast. It seemed as if the rows and rows of orcs were chasing it but were falling back. Suddenly anamatar let loose a cry "ISILDUR!" isildur was riding his chicken shadowfax with all of the knights packs. NO enemey could catch up with the bird. Isildur came to the windor. He gave the knights their packs and jumped into the tower himself. He told shadowfax to go away.

The hobbits' hearts were lightened after seeing the troll slain, and they regrouped and charged at the trolls. The hobbits knew that they could not take on a troll singlehandedly like Celebrien had. They worked together to kill one troll at a time. Some of the faster hobbits, Ashari being one of them, would dart to and fro, confusing the stupid creatures. This would give the archers the chance they needed to shoot the trolls in the neck. Not even a troll could withstand five or more arrows in its throat. The hobbits kept this up until there were no more trolls.
Celebrien takes 50 swordsmen and forms a phalanx and places archers inside the circle then charges deep into the orcs defenses killing over a hundred on the way in. Soon they are surrounded, but this is what Celebrien wants. He orders his archers to fire. The first rank of advancing orcs falls dead and the second is halted by the swordsmen. Celebrien draws his blades and slips silently out of the circle, hoping to find some straggling orcs at the rear of the group.

The Knights sat lumped in the dim hall and waited for some tidings of either Sureast or Isildur, but for a long time they neither saw nor heard anything. The entire tower seemed strangely quite and not even a call or the sound of feet broke the emptiness that permeated the air. There was a feeling of watchfulness and danger that the Knights could feel and almost lay a finger upon, but it was unexplainable and frightening. Suddenly, a sound of whirring broke the unreal stillness, and the Knights could be seen like statues of dread in the dim light, ready to pounce on any unseen prey that chanced their way. The whirring grew ever nearer, and such was the feeling of the air around them that the Knights did not recognize it to be the sound of Sureasta's wings. She flew up to Galdor and the Knights relaxed. Nothing had happened yet. Sureasta and Galdor held a quick conference in whispered tones and by Galdor's face could be told the worst. Isildur had not been found, and the Knights would have to split up. They could not hope for anything better.

What happened??? he thought. He remember going into battle and seeing a man surrounded by orcs, he had a sword, but was not a knight, Isildur tried to call for the others, but they were well off in battle, he slashed his was into the circle to help, Isildur talked to the man, but the man did not speak his language, but Isildur fought with him anyways, they took the man very quickly, Isildur fought as many orcs as he could, but he was over taken. He didn't remeber any thing after that.
Isildur back was to the wall, he thin saw that it was a Dragon. "Wait a minute! Dragons are dead!" Isildur said, he had heard that they were extinct, but he heard wrong. The dragon was a greenish|blueish color and big and veeery mad. Isildur realized it was not fire breathing, but that still did not make him feel any better. The dragon leaned down and and opened it's mouth, Isildur swung his sword at the top of the mouth, it was a weak spot, and blood squirted every-where, Isildur ran. Where are the others!!!

They reached another window. Odd-anamatar thought. They seemed to be much higher now than they were before. The army of orcs was growing. Another battalion of Haradrim approached. The remainders of the armys that had attacked gondor had returned. They would not attack again until they had an army large enough. It seemed very near at hand. The remaining dragon floated overhead. Uruk-Ghash fired arrows at its inpregnable hide just for sport. The 3 knights continued on.

The dragon had stopped the gushing of blood to mere drops. It turned to Isildur in mad rage. The big dragon charged at Isildur, and Isildur jumped out of the way just in time, and the dragon went through the wall, many rocks fell and covered it, the dragon seemed knocked out for a while. The dragon was laying in a hall way of the tower. Isildur could see clearly now[the rain is gone:D]. The dragon was about 6 times the size of a man. It had long wings, long claws, strong body, large teeth, and it was green and blue. Isildur walked around the dragon, he jumped on it's neck. He put the point of the Calimmacil on it's neck and pushed. It barly made a mark. He jumped off the neck and went to it's eye, which was half open, he poked it and saw it was the same as a man's eye, except larger. This must be it's weak spot. He very softly put his sword up to the eye, and, squirt, Isildur quickly ran to the other side of the head and did the same, the dragon seemed to want to get up, scream, and rip Isildur head of, but it was losing alot of blood. Isildur insured it's death by going to the nose, and the sword ripped the insides. The dragon was dead now, Isildur looked around. He notice something strange though, and small rock about the size of a hand, it was perfectly round and smooth, and it's colors were a swirl of the dragon's colors: green and water blue. There was 2 small holes in the ball, and Isildur sliped a chain through it and put it on his neck. This ball/rock might hold some secret later on. He stood up and waited there in the hall.
"I hope some one heard the dragon."

Celebrien was growing weary as well, but he fought his way slowly back to his backpack and grabbed a vial from it. He took a deep drink and his strength. Suddenly, off to his left he saw Ashari, surrounded by a pitiful small amount of her staff-hobbits. She was surrounded by Uruk Ghash and had taken many hits. "Ashari!!!" he cried, then lifted his silver knives high "Friends of Lorien, rally to my blades!!!" At once around 70 of his archers and at least 30 of his swordsmen surrounded him. "Go and help the valiant periannath." He then turned and fled from the battlefield, back towards the forest of Lorien and more aid from the Elves. Ashari was worn out and in pain. Her and a small amount of hobbits were surrounded by orcs, and they had all taken many wounds. Just when it looked as if there was no hope left, Ashari heard a great cry of "Elbereth!" All at once there was a whistling of arrows, and several orcs fell dead before the hobbits. A hundred of Celebrien's elves had made their own ring around the ring of orcs and were firing and slashing at them. A flame of new hope suddenly rekindled in Ashari's heart. "The Shire!" she cried, and sprang forward to bring her staff crashing down upon the foul head of an orc. The rest of the hobbits were roused agian after seeing thier commander, bruised and bleeding, join the battle once more. They followed suit, and soon the whole group of orcs were slain.
As soon as there was a chance, Ashari ordered the retreat of her troops. She did not like to fly from a battle, but herself and her troops could not keep fighting for much longer. They fled back into the White City, and took what food and rest they could. The onslaught of the East was stayed for a while, but the lull would not last for long.

Unfortunately, I know of no one here in this group who is learned in the Black Speach. But still, it is a lead." Nenya let the other Knights study the wall, but she herself went to discover where the light had suddenly come from. It was an artificial light, quite unlike anything she had ever seen before. She moved down the passageway a little way to where the light was coming from but came running back to the group after only a moment. "I am afraid we may have company down here," she told them, "the light is powered by some magic that I cannot explain. Perhaps it is only something left over from Sauron, but I doubt it. It seems to recent and new for that. I believe that the light was put here by the new resident wizards... so I suggest we be extremely careful and quiet." It was not good to know that the only choice was to go forward into this tunnel, lit or not, and know that they might meet up with some orcs, wizards, or worse.

"Where are all those hobbits now?" a gruff, baritone voice enquired. "I haven't seen them all afternoon.
"They're probably eating," a younger, tenor voice responded. "You know those halflings. If they get started on a meal, you won't get them anywhere else unless the world ends."
"Well it seems the world is ending!" the gruff voice said with dispair. "Look! The armies of the East have returned, and they're attacking the gate!"
At these last words Ashari stood up and drew out her bow, knocking her stool over. The other hobbits saw the flame of battle burn in their commander's eyes and abandoned thier meals. Ashari and the hobbits burst out of the doors to meet the two men. She turned to the hobbits. "Go gather the others," she said to them. "We must rally all the strengh we have to defend the Gates!" The knights wandered through the warm tunnels led by galdor. It was ever warming. Thought the knights knew it not, they were but a few feet from the very core of the mountain where the uruk-ghash were created. The source of the wizards power lay just a few steps away. Though they did not know. A dread was on each of the knights. Anamatar Osterel (OOC-anamatars last name thanks to buu) brandished his sword and looked to galdor. Then to the others knights. Then, far down at the end of the tunnel, a light began to take shape. It flickered and danced, and fumes could be seen even at this distance flowing from the flames. The air grew stifling and hot, and the Knights began to sweat from the intensity of the heat. The light grew nearer until it shaped itself out into a doorway filled with a red glow. Down, down the Knights marched into the hot atmosphere, until but a few more steps and they would reach the door. Everyone was deathly silent. So was everything around them. Nenya stuck her head out of the doorway and saw a large stone chamber filled with smoke and fire. There was a great chasm in the middle of the floor out of which poured innumberable flames which danced and played havoc amongst each other as they waged war for the air. The smoke was dense and the heat so intense that Nenya felt her face cooking even as she stuck it into the room. No doors could be seen on this side of the fire: only smooth stone walls and a single wall of flame.
Nenya took her head out of the room as did a few others who had looked with her. "I do not like the silence," Nenya commented. "Perhaps we have only reached the main place where the fires are made, but it is too quiet. At the least we should be able to hear the cries of orcs." The silence seemed to laugh back and then receed, but it was still there as though waiting.

Thousands of booted feet were heard in a tunnel adjacent to the one the knigths were in. The new orcs would soon reach the knights. Then they would be trapped between certain death and a firy grave.

The Knights ran out the door hoping against hope that they would make it out the door on the opposite end of the room without being seen by the orcs. They ran feeling the burning of the fire with every step and hearing the clammor of the orcs behind them.

down the tunnel the the cries were heard louder. Soon black feathered arrows struck the floor behind the knights. The heat was too much to handle for the knights. "There is an opening at the end of this pit!!!" Anamatae exclaimed. The only problem was that the small opening was inback of the fires. Surrounded and covered by flame. The knights stopped a few steps from the opening. The orcs could never fit through it. Atleast not the uruk-ghash. Anamatar dove forward and through the burning brands into the tunnel. He smothered a small fire that had caught on his cloak just in time to see the other knights dive in. The orcs fired their arrows in vain at the fire.

Burned and exhausted, the Knights lay panting in the opening of the tunnel. Orc cries could be heard on the other side, but evil's own devilry kept evil from acting. The orcs could only fire arrows at the fire and watch them burn. The Knights, for now, were safe.
"We must be moving on!" Nenya cautioned. "There must be another opening at the end of this tunnel, and I can guarantee that the orcs will send their foul friends to meet us there. Our only hope is to make it to the other end before the orcs do." Anamatar nodded, and the two of them helped the singed Knights to their feet, and led them down the tunnel at a run. The tunnel grew darker.

Galdor checked to make sure that Sureatsa was ok and then followed the rest of the Knights. The tunnel became darker and darker until, even the Elves could only barely make out the outline of their hands in front of their faces. The Knights were forced to slow down and walk carefully in the darkness. Galdor stopped them and said, "I feel great evil in this place, and it's getting greater the further we go. I there may be one of those creatures waiting for us at the end of the tunnel. I suggest that two or three of us go slightly ahead of the others, for the tunnel is to narrow for all of us to fight if we are attacked by another one of these creatures. Anamatar, I ask that you and one other come with me."

"I will come with you," Nenya said.
Galdor nodded, "The rest of you should stay here." Galdor led Nenya and Anamatar down the tunnel. It grew darker, if that were even possible, and the air became stuffy. Every now and then a spiderweb could be felt brushing past the Knights arms and heads causing them to shudder in disgust, for they could see nothing. After they had walked for quite a ways down the tunnel into blackness, they all stopped with one accord, for they felt the evil all around them. Then, a sickly light grew as though it was coming from the walls and filled the tunnel. The spiderwebs could be seen clearly in the yellow light, and so could the little black spiders that were crawling all over them. Nenya grimaced.
In Gondor, Celebrien was beginning to tire of the standoff at the gate. He called Ashari and asked "Is there not some secret way out of the city? A way in which we might come and attack our enemies flank and not a direct attack? I will search for a way, for I do not believe the makers of the White City would fail to leave a hidden escape route in case of great need." He walked off with the hobbit, hoping against hope to find the secret route.

"We must go on! These things will devour us should we stay here!" The 3 knights were off. They ran through the tunnels but never did their eyes get relieved of the grusome sight of the deformed creatures.

Celebrien looked at Ashari. "What do you propose?" he said.
Ashari smiled. "We go for the old standby: ask for directions," she replied. "Come! We must see the king!"
Ashari and Celebrien changed direction and hurried up to the throne room to ask the king about any exits the city might have.
Celebrien approached the throne, then gave a deep bow. "Your majesty, I am Celebrien and this is my trusted companion Ashari. We have come with a request. Do you know any secret exits from the city? We wish to attack the orcs from their rear and thus catch them by surprise."

Back in the early parts of the tunnel isildur, stridir, Sir Eliot, and Nauriel walked slowly. A dim green glow gleamed far ahead. Behind them the the fire grew. Soon it became a burning heat. Stridir quailed. He took his water bottle and through it onto the flame. A dark smoke filled the tunnel. The harsh cries from the orcs went silent.
Back where nenya, Anamatar, and Galdor were everything was silent again. The spiders were all still. Then in a matter of seconds all were gone. They scattered in different directions up and down and through the cracks. They seems to be running from something that they knew not where it was. The green glow went out and then reappeared brighter than before. Infront of the three knights the rest of the tunnel was collapsing. Before them stood the crest of the mountain. The top of the mountain where the uruk-ghash were created. The fire was extinguished. The orcs far off were all silent. At the very top were two dark figures.

As soon as Galdor spotted the two wizards, he closed his eyes for a second and quietly spoke a words. When he opened them, he turned to Nenya and Anamatar, "I feel great power coming from the two figures on the mountain, I am sure it is the Wizards. There is also more than just orcs and the Wizards here, I can feel the presents of its evil, but this place is so filled with evil I can not tell you where it is. I have covered us in a shield that will block almost all magic. I know not, but the wizards might be powerful enough to break through my shield. Should we move on or wait for them to make the first move?"

Before either of them could answer, the Wizards vanished and the sides of the mountain belched forth a dark smoke. Out of the smoke walked three figures, and Nenya quailed - she knew those eyes! The three sets of yellow eyes flickered and grasped each Knight in their gastly gaze. Blood dripped from the beast's horns, and evil could be felt like a vapor flowing from their every move. The teeth protruded into snarls of hate. Nenya tried to withdraw her gaze but couldn't, for the same fell feeling surrounded her heart, and she felt herself slipping, falling, down into blackness.

Nenya fell. She hit the ash and stone in an uncanny crunch. The 3 sets of eyes creeped nearer. Anamatar and Galdor could do nothing. If they attacked then there would be 1 beast left unscathed. If they ran nenya would be subject to the wrath of these beasts. Anamatar drew Narmacil again without knowing what he was going to do. The beasts were a few steps from the knights. They looked ready to attack. But at that moment an arrow flew up from the side of the mountain and struck the head beast in the side. Then another and another. Each hitting the same creature! Then over the peak of the mountain came Isildur with a long bow in hand, Stridir with his sword raised high, Sir Eliot with his sword aimed at the beast, and Nauriel with her sword already dancing.
"Come Galdor!!!" Anamatar shouted. Narmacil, glowing bright, was thrown into the fray. Soon Anamatar saw the flame of Galdors blade striking the helm of a blood thirsty beast.
Gondor....
"Come Ashari, we must go to the place the king has told me of. In the halls of healing, there is a fireplace. There are two stones behind the place where the fire is that are slightly raised. We must both push these and then the fireplace leads to a tunnel in which we may pass five wide. Actually, will you go and gather your troops while I find the passage. Please find any swordsmen of mine because most of the archers are defending the gate." With that said he dashed off.

Meanwhile Galdor dogged swing after swing of the beast club. At a quick word from Galdor Sureatsa dived down towards the beast, sifting just before she hit the beast. She slammed into the side of its head, her knife like claws raking its head, throwing it heavily down to the ground, blood flowing from the wounds on its head. Galdor moved in fast to stab the beast, but it slung its club at Galdor's feet, and even as he jumped to miss the club the beast hit him in midair with its other arm sending Galdor to the ground as well. Galdor jumped back on his feet quickly, but before he could make another move the beast also stood back up to it's feet. After hitting the beast Sureatsa flew to where Nenya laid and carried her unconscious body out of harms way. Seeing that Nauriel had joined Galdor in his dance with the beast, she flew towards the beast Anamatar and Eliot were battling with.

By the might of the elves or mirkwood, lorien, and rivendell, the dwarves of the mountains, and the hobbits of the shire the greatest onslaught to ever attack Gondor was foiled. The last orc was hacked down by dwarish axes and then the battle was over. Thousands of dead bodies, fell and great, blanketed the battle field. Nothing could be found on the surface of the huge rocky mountain except for lava and ashes. The base was rendered useless.
"I suggest we climb," Nenya said, "perhaps we will find what we are looking for higher up."
The others nodded, and the climb began. Up, up, up, the Knights went without a stop for hours, and yet the climb grew ever more treacherous not because of any physical reason but because of the silence. They were being watched, and they knew it. No one spoke, and even the smallest pebble falling seemed magnified ten-thousand times. The top was in sight, and finally, weary and exhausted, the Knights reached its summit. It looked like a volcano, but around the hardened rim was a flat stretch which looked expressly for the purpose of peering down into the depths of the mountain. As though guided by some unseen force, the Knights all looked with one accord into the heart of the mountain, into the firey chasm, but instead of fire and smoke the Knights were met with clear sight all the way down to the bottom where a stunning and terrible vision was revealed. Down, down, the drop went until far below in an immense pool of steaming lava floated a huge slab of stone on which stood two sinister figures. Their eyes were lifted, and their faces full of taunting glee, for they had their intruders now, and the Knights knew that they were looking upon the faces of their worst foes - the Blue Wizards.

It will give us some extra time while they try to break through it though, we will have to go back down quickly before they break through my shield." Turning to look back down to the base of the mountain, the Knights looked with horror as the saw vast army of orcs coming up through holes in the ground. "So that's how they get in and out of the mountain, under ground cave systems. Our only chance is to kill the wizards, do any of you see a way down to them?"

Millena gave Nenya a desperate look. "That won't work!" she gasped.
"No," Nenya said, "Galdor! Where is Sureasta? I believe that our only hope is to have her bear us down one-by-one into the mountain. It will cause us to become separated for a while, but I believe it may be our only choice of action. I see no other way!"

" no" Pontucer answered him
" well that's too bad if u sees her tell her to get ready to march in two days" then Phenix walked away to prepare his own troops.
When he entered the barrack in which is officer had slept he told the captain to gather supplies for a month and gather the troops.
A moment later his army was at place at the square. " Brave soldiers we have come to the conclusion that if we wish to defeat this evil we must hit it where it's the most powerful there-for we're marching towards Mordor in two days" when he was done with the speech the soldiers cheered and from other directions all the other races could be heard happy for that they was going to break up.
Two days later the armies was gathered on the fields outside of the city, the army was big and the supply carts even bigger, and so the army marched for the land of mordor where they hoped to destroy the evil once and fore all...

And hope that those times could come again. Anamatar gazed long into their eyes. But suddenly they changed. Their eyes were now cold as ice. They turned their staves towards Anamatar and advanced towards him slowly.
"Do not gaze into the eyes of Pollando!" yelled the taller wizard.
"Nor Alatar!" yelled the other. The came closer to Anamatar slowly. "Lowly mortal." and Alatar slid Anamatar into the wall without touching him.
"Please." Anamatar struggled. "My ancestor was Tar-Atanamir. He was corrupted by the one true enemy of yours. My lineage is straight out of the days that you desire." Pollando and Alatar hesitated. It was at this moment that Anamatar noticed an orb on a pedistall where the wizards stood.
Galdor

OOC: Halt, over. Sorry it took me so long guys.
The wizards stopped, a fair distance from the Knights, and Galdor moved in front of the other Knights "No one move," he said. Then he raised his hand high above his head, and started speaking softly in Quenya. As he did, an almost invisible ball of liquid seemed to be forming over his hand. As he was doing this, three beasts, one who has greater then all the of the ones they had already encountered, entered the room, and stood to the right of the wizards. Each one was holding a club stunted with metal spikes, and the largest of them held also a long dagger. Suddenly Galdor cried out, and the ball above his hand seemed to exploded outwards, forming a bubble around the room. Galdor fell to the ground, breathing hard, "That is the best I can do, it will not stop all of the wizard’s magic, but it will lessen it." Still on the ground, and breathing hard, he looked up at the wizards and beasts; all were just standing there waiting for the Knights to make their move. Galdor started talking again, softly, as if pleading for something, "Elbereth, Elbereth, hlar yellonya. Mimmë sinamen umin haryatuo ana mahtaman man maurë ana.” Even as he said it the other Knights felt a change come over them, their tired limbs were strengthened beyond what they had been before and a new resolve came over them.
When Galdor finished talking he looked up at the beast and wizards, who were still waiting for the Knights to make their move. And then closing his eyes he once again began speaking, this time as if praying “Aiquen ëa ana fir, ëa ni. Nan antan minya i tuo, ana telesina.” When finished he stood, and a fell fire had come into his eyes, and as his gaze swept across the Knights, each one of them involuntarily took a step back, each one both amazed and almost scared at the change which had come over him. Looking Nenya in the eyes he said simply, “Sureatsa I give to you, take good care of her.” And then to the rest “concentrate only on the wizards; I will deal with the beast alone.” As he turned to face the beast and began to speak once more, and as he did, a light began to shine out from him until it was so bright that the beast and wizards had to shield their eyes from him. And though the Knights could tell that the light which came from him was terribly bright, it did not affect them. “This is the end O beast of evil, your time in this world is over, and you will go to the void that awaits you.” With that he drew Aicanáro in his right hand, and it burned with living fire, and in his left hand he drew a dagger. “Come, and embrace the Sharp-flame evil ones, for it will dance death upon you.” And with that he charged the beast, crying “Elbereth!” and both elf and beasts engaged in a deadly dance of death.

Pollando beat Galdor in the back of his head with his staff and Alatar pumeled Galdors torso.
But as Galdor, sister-son of Cirdan, stared death in its dark face a shred of hope came. Many harsh yells and one long strident one and the Mithril KNights, led by Anamatar, bore down upon the wizards. A Noldorin dagger, keenly thrown by Nenya, pierced Pollando's neck. As the light of Telperion, Narmacil burned holes through the wizards cloaks and flesh. But when they tried to aid Galdor he sent them away crying aloud:

"Alka Calimmacil, galad i luume, alka Calimmacil!" Isildur said a few more that no one else heard, then, Calimmacil started to glow a dim light color (Much like Sting or Glamring[sp.]), Isildur ran forth to the battle of the Knights and Wizards. "Calimmacil!" Isildur cried "Calimmacil for Gondor!" He hit the two Wizards hard and fast.

As Isildur struck Pollando the blue wizard met its death. As Calimmacil burned through flesh of wizard pollando fell to a death and was devoured by a mist. Alatar was stricken. He gazed at the cloak of his once partner and wept. And the battle stopped. All was still. Alatar raised his staff high and muttered words not heard in middle earth but rather away west, in Aman. Words that none could understand but Iluvutar the One. He raised his staff high and as he finished these words he vanished. his cloak and staff fell in a heapon the ground and it was over.

***Flashback***
Galdor had fallen upon the beast, a living whirlwind of fire and death. Even when the wizards beat him to the ground from behind, he had only been down for a few seconds before he had jumped back up on his feet, as if nothing had happened. His eyes then became like pools of fire, Aicanáro burned ever more, until it seemed to be a blade of pure fire, and his body seemed almost to be only great light in the form of an Elf, and it's brilliants lit up the whole room. He and the beasts had slowly moved until they were fighting on the far side of the room. Galdor was moving faster then almost the eye could see, a mere blur of light as he dodged this way and that, avoiding the spiked clubs of the three beasts that strove to crush him. The other Knights had looked with horror as finally one of the clubs met its mark, throwing Galdor against the wall with a sickening thud, they could see through the light of his body red spots forming, and all were sure that he was dead. Unit after a few seconds he stood once again and looking deep into the shocked eyes of the largest beast he had cried "I will not die so easily, brood of Morgoth. Indeed the Halls of Mandros will not open to me until this is finished. Aurë entuluva, i aurë selma auciri mórë, aurë entuluva!” With that he had fallen upon the beast again, as the other Knights also fell upon the Wizards once more.

the minutes went by. And finally just before the last wizard was slain, the largest of the beast gave him a great blow with its club, and he fell to the floor, this time to exhausted to get back up, and his light was dimmed. Both the remaining beast started towards him slowly, and with clubs raised. Galdor painfully raised his head from the floor, looking into the eyes of Anamatar, who was just about to lead the other Knights against the beast, and said one word “Run!” the tone of his voice demanded obedience, and the Knights began to walk slowly back towards the door, torn between the desirer to help Galdor, but compelled by his voice to obey. As they moved towards the door, Galdor summoned his last remaining strength, for the last time, the light coming out from him became almost unbearably. Pulling himself up to his knees, and looking the largest beast, who was still advancing, strait in the eyes, he raised Aicanáro high above his head and let out a great cry, it was almost deafening as it echoed throughout the cave. “Ta ná tele!” And he stabbed Aicanáro into the rock floor, and as it hit the floor, there was a flash of brilliant light and Aicanáro, the sword of Galdor, exploded into burning fragments which flew across the room. The ground began to shake violently, and rock began to fall from the ceiling. With one last look at Galdor, kneeling alone near the center of the room, the light that had shone from him during the fight completely faded and blood covered his body, the Knights fled out of the cave, and as they ran they heard the sound of massive rocks falling and smashing into the floor, and knew the Galdor Sandaórë, the nephew of Círdan, was dead. The knights wept as they ran, and Sureatsa would often let out a small and painful cry from the shoulder of Nenya, where she had stayed throughout the fight, knowing that she could do little in a small room.

Nenya's heart bled with pain and sadness. Her feet felt like lead, and her heart was weeping. She tried to comfort Sureasta as she ran, but the bird was past all comfort. Nenya noticed that the men at her side were weeping as they ran, and she could feel the hearts mourning within the elves. Alas! What an unfortunate day to show its face down upon this group of warriors! Their hearts, together, made a clamour of sadness, and then, of one accord, the Mithril Knights stopped running and wept, the men with tears streaming down their faces, and the elves with hearts crying out to Mandos.

The captains of Gondor halted the host. thunder cracked over head and in a dazzling flash of lightning the massive figure of the Morannon was displayed. Rain came down heavily. Another flash of lightning and the doors were opened. The heralds blew a great note on their silver horns and the thousands of soldiers behind them fitted arrows and drew their swords. A bolt of fire sped through the air and landed a few furlongs from the hosts of the west. Upon contact with the ground the arrow exploded in a firey combustian. THousands of feet were heard as the knights of the west tried to regain their composure after the blast that had happened. When they looked up the army of Mordor was already upon them.

Isildur could bare it no more. He wept, off all the deaths he had seen, this was the bravest, couragous sacrafice he had seen. Where ever the elf would go, Galdor would be remember in the hearts of all the Mithril Knights. Isildur looked up at the rest of his fellow Knights, who were weeping also. Isildur could say no words of incouragement. He then heard in the distance yells and cries, swords upon swords......

"Up on your feet!" Nenya cried softly, "Our time for mourning is over. The living die, and sometimes the dead are granted a chance at life again. Such are the fortunes of this World and the gifts of Iluvatar."
"And now is the time to fight!" Anamatar said, springing to his feet.
"Let us not let our friend die in vain!" Millena added, grabbing her weapons, decision marked on her face.
The Knights assembled together in a group and walked towards the yells of battle coming to their ears, alert and ready for whatever might befall.

The knights could hear the noises of war. They heard the many yells and screams of two huge armies battling. The knights finally reached the end of the tunnel to be greeted by a battle that no being in the history of Middle-Earth had ever seen. Upon the plateau of Gorgoroth fought tens of thousands of Uruk-Ghash, Orcs, Easterlings, Goblins, Wargs, Elves, Dwarves, and Men. Arrows rained down upon both armys. You could not even hear your own voice amid the sounds of this terriffic battle.
The small party of warriors stood in awe at this great and tremendous scene. They unsheathed their great swords and prepared for a long battle. Sir Eliot's sword "Polodrin" glowed with a bright, hot red flame.
"Come on!" Sir Eliot urged his companions.

The knights drew their weapons and charged down towards the horrific battle. In harmonous unison they all let out a grreat battle cry. Of the likes none had been heard since the dawn of the world. All eyes turned towards the knights who were charging. As the orcs and elves and mans eyes turned towards the knights it seemed to all that it was not but 6 lowly knights. It seemed to all that beheld them that they were a great army. A large army was running to meet the battle. The day had come again and thousands of elves and men were charging the orcs. But it was not thousands. It was but the 6 knights. But their wrath was revealed. As it appeared to all the last alliance of elves and men was charging the battle led by Elendil and Narsil and gil-Galad and aeglos. And the Knights drove into the battle and uruk-ghash turned not to fight. They could not stand against the armies of the west in the fourth age and of the second. The armies of Gondor gave a cry of happiness and the uruk-ghash gave shrieks of fright. The 6 knights entered the battle and devestaded the opposition. The armies of the west continued the charge. The armies of Mordor were between death and death-there was no escape. And thus the war between the Ithrynluin and the west was won. Not for the might in arms of the Mithril Knights nor for the numbers in warriors. It was not for the valiancy of Gondor nor the skills of elves. But rather what won the war was the bravery and wrath of the Mithril Knights. One among them summoned the might of the Valar upon himself to save the others. The six remaining put forth wrath enough to give the sight of the last alliance. And it was from the sacrifice of Galdor sister-son of Cirdan that the West was won.

Time passed in the land, and all grew prosperous and good once more. The threat of war was over, at least for the present time, though it would always be the job of men to destroy each new evil that should and would invariably appear. However, at the moment it was a time of peace. The scars of war could still be seen, but around those scars were helping hands removing and washing away the tears of war with their love. Each of the Mithril Knights went their own ways after the war until, in a time of threat, they should meet again and discuss the paths that they should take. Nenya, however, had resigned from the brotherhood of Knights, for she now dedicated her life to counseling those in need of guidance and giving her gifts of fighting and skill to others who in their turn could help the world. But now she was resting in the land of Lothlorien from whence she had come.
It was a cool day with a breeze blowing from the south-west across the Mallorn trees in the heights when Nenya, with Sureasta perched on her shoulder, walked through the woods thinking about the past war. It had been nine months since the eventful trek in Mordor, and Nenya could not help her thoughts from greaving as they walked those past paths, for she thought of Galdor, her kin, and she grieved that his light should have been plucked out by the evil that had assailed them. Sureasta pricked up her head, disturbing Nenya's thoughts. Suddenly, with a great cry, the bird flew up and was gone. It was as though she had sensed something and with a great joy had gone to find it. Nenya's heart gave a little jump, for what she did not know, and then she settled down once more to her thoughts of the past.
******************************************
Three months had passed, and Nenya was summoned by Mithril Knights to come witness the Knighting of the new Knights of her past order. It was an honor for she was no longer a Mithril Knight, but the Knights had deemed her presence to be necessary.
In Gondor the trumpets blared to announce the arrival of the Mithril Knights. They were returning to the capital for the ceremony of Knighting their new Knights and welcoming them into their order. For this honor they had chosen Minas Tirith, the White City, and present at the ceremony would be all the high officials of the King. Legolaslover_12 led the parade into the streets followed by the six Knights who had done so many deeds in the fight against the Ithrynluin, and following them came the younger Knights, prime and ready for their Knighthood. Minas Tirith welcomed them into its open arms, and the ceremony began.

ANamatar grinned at the knights awaiting their part of the ceremony. Their beaming faces could hardly portray their happiness. The next generation of knights was entering-and another generation leaving. Anamatar and few more still remained knights. The ceremony was coming to and end.

Just before the waiting soldiers were knighted into the order Mithril Knights, a tall elf entered. He was clothed completely in white, his long golden hair hung strait down his back, a sword was at his side, and on his shoulder sat a beautiful falcon. All of those present turned to stair at the new comer, and the Mithril Knights gazed at him intently. He resembled the Galdor that they had known, but he seemed older and younger, wiser, more beautiful, sad and yet full of joy. They would have said he was Galdor's brother, but they knew he no brother, nor even any family besides Círdan. The Elf smiled broadly as he walked to where the soldiers and Mithril Knights were standing, not a one of them had moved since his entrance, frozen in confusion, disbelief, shock, wonder, and fear. Finally Anamatar mumbled in a barely audible whisper "Galdor? But it's impossible, we saw you die...." his voice faded and once again the room was silent. Galdor laughed and it was like the joy of a new sunrise after a long darkness, "Yes" he said, "I have returned to this earth, to live once again as I will."

The knights rejoiced for many nights afterwards. Their dear friend had come from beyond the sea where no mortal will set foot. No greater joy could any of them have. But soon it was time to leave. The knights rode together to Annuminas to bid Nenya fare well with her future in Heren Istation--A grand council that had formed. From there Eliot, Millena, Isildur, and Stridir rode back to Ithilien. And Anamatar and Galdor remained.
They rode and talked and laughed and sung together for many hours. But at last they had to part.
"Indeed, good friend, it was grand to see you," Anamatar said. "Fare ye well in the time ahead of you."
"Aure entuluva," Galdor replied. And so Anamatar rode his steed south to Dol Amroth and Galdor rode his horse with his falcon on his shoulder north and they went their seperate ways. And this way the last of the first generation of Mithril Knights parted--in honour and greatnes
