The Revenge.

[Neothen]

Neothen got up watching Oren"Go ahead i'll cover you back."
Neothen pulled out it his wand and held it by his chest.He then
vanished from sight and all you could see of him was his shadow.

[Phenix]

teh shadow stumbe ou of eh bushes bleading hevily from a woun in his leg

[Oren]

*oren reconized the man in an instant. She turns into a human and rushes to Phenix.* "What happened? oh don't speak..." *she says and quickly tears off a bit the bottom of her cloak. She wraps it around his bloody body. Neothen hands Oren the canteen. She holds Phenix's head up and pours a bit into his mouth. He spudders but gets most of it down. Then she takes a pile of leaves to put under Phenix's head. He starts to groan, but she hushes him.* "Neothen, I think it would be best for us to rest here for the night. We must take extreme care and be cautious, but Phenix is in no state to leave." *Oren then starts a fire. Neothen begins to protest, but she takes no notice of him.* "I am going to find something to eat, I will be right back. Take good care of Phenix while I am gone..." *her tone of voice warns Neothen and he makes no movement to do anything. She returns a while later with 3 large birds. The fire is large enough to cook the birds. Neothen stands guard while the meal is cooking. It is dark now and the fire is the onl thing lighting up the area*

[Phenix]

later that night Phenix wakes up whit a loud scream,

[Oren]

*Oren rushes to him, placing her hand on his head. He was buring up. she tried to calm him down* "What is the matter?"

[Phenix]

" the girl, the little girl were is she, No I...I....I..." Phenix faints.

[Oren]

*oren holds the fainted elf in her arms. She gently pours bits of water on his face. Neothen stands watching, making sure that there is nothing in the woods and giving Oren some advice*

[Ponte]

Búrun sat in the dungeon and looked out through a window that was in the dungeon. He saw against northeast and tryed to see something that could save him. But he didn't saw anything. When it became nigth Búrun went down on the floor in the dungeon and he started to sleep. The next day Búrun woked up because he heard marching footstepps. It was the king of the beorning who were marching up in the mountain. After a while they reached and attacked the castle and a hard battle started. Búrun didn't knowed what was happening but he heard the sounds of bears roaring and of orcs and men screaming. The battle continued al the day. When the nigth was coming it seamed to Búrun that the battle had ended since he didn't heard any orcsih screams or sounds of weapons. But he could hear roars and the sounds of the language of the beornings. And because of that Búrun started to bang on the door and scream to get the attention of the Beornings. After about an hour the door to the dugeon was chrushed and at it a big man with sandy brown hair and beard stood. It was a Beorning who stood there. Búrun thanked the Beorning and then went outside of the dungeon. When he had comed out of the dungeon Búrun asked who the Beorning was and the Beornung answered
- I am Maulor, a Beorning, the king had heard that a man were ruling an orchempire so he went here with his army. We defeated the mans forces but he escaped before we could capture him.
Búrun then said- Maulor, that's the name of the father of Oren, are you her father?
Maulor answered
- Yes I am. But Oren has been away for a long while, do you know her?
Búrun answered
- Yes I do, she joined my fellowship that were going to kill the man who ruled the orcempire. The last time I saw her she had a big wound and she felt very bad.
Maulor answered
- How bad is she?
Búrun answered
- Well, she was getting better and perhaps she is good today, I don't know.
Maulor then said
- Ok. Well, then I wont go and search for her. Btw what is your name?
Búrun answered
My name is Búrun, my father and mother were killed by the man who ruled over the orchs empire, my brother was perhaps killed by him to, I don't know. But know I'm going to take revenge on him.
Maulor said
- Good, you can follow me in my search for him Búrun, the rest of the army will go back to there homes but I'm going to keep on searching for him, he will not los his empire if he is alive, he must be killed.
Búrun said
- I will go with you. But shall we sleep here or shall we go now?
Maulor answered
- We must go for him now, he's already far infront of us.
Then the army started to go down to their homes. When they had leaved Búrun and Maulor started to go south along the misty mountains.

[Phenix]

the night passed by and Phenix woke upseweral times yealling about a town and a little girl, in teh morning he starts to get beter

[Oren]

*oren tried to comfort Phenix through the night. The water was constantly being added to Phenix's head. She didn't leave Phenix's side all night. When she was hungry, Neothen brought her some of the bird. She didn't think that there was hope for him, but in the morning he seemed to get better*

[Phenix]

" uh...were am I...Oren is that u?"

[Oren]

*oren looked at the elf* "Yes, it is I. *she pushed his hair out of his face, and smiled.* "Are you hungry...or thirsty?"

[Neothen]

"I suggest you don't feed him to much or he'll get sick. I'm
going to scout the area."Neothen got up and turned to the woods
mumbling to himself."something draws near thats why we shouldn't
stay."

[Oren]

*Oren scowls at Neothen, but listens to him just the same.* "yes, well, he'll get sick if he doesn't eat or drink anything too..." *oren finds that Phenix's feaver has gone away*

[Phenix]

" well I am a little hungry..."

[Oren]

*Oren nodded and went to get Phenix a bit of the bird. Phenix proped himself up against a tree. Oren put the meat onto a large peice of bark which she used as a plate. Then she handed it to Phenix* "Phenix, do you think you will be able to move today. Neothen and I do not think it is safe to stay in one place for a long period of time."

[Phenix]

" a little... just not to long" he says and stands

Neothen was scouting the area. He had a bad feeling somehow he knew that something was waiting for the right momment to attack. No offense to Phenix, it wasn't his fault and of course he would be a powerfull ally after he would heal. But still take care of a wounded person would get them behind schedule. Also he was worried about Burun what had happened to him? Was he in danger?
All this thoughts dissapeared when a loud howl was heard from what it looked everywhere around them. "Damn it, i knew it" thought Neothen at the time he run to Oren and Phenix. Before he got there the camp was invade by more than 3 dozens of birds. Dark birds and almost as big as him. They were birds all right, only that their wings were like those of a bat. The rest looked like a condor but they were also different. Somehow they were more uglier and more stronger and they made howls like an animal in pain. But in their eyes there was hunger. Hunger for the taste of blood.
Oren was now in bear form and she defended Phenix with claws and body, but she wouldn't hold for too long. The birds were atrackted to the blood and most of them went to her. Neothen did what he could, also he was a great mage he was surprised by the attack. He attacked with fire and sword and tried to scare the birds with big explosions of fire , but for some reason birds didn't fear it. After a time for what it seemed the end for the three heroes the birds started to slow down in the attack. That was the momment Neothen need it to create a magic field around Oren and Phenix. The field would let them get out but any enemy who would get too close to the field would freeze. Soon many birds were frozen and they decided to give up the hunt. Neothen throwed many balls of fire to the rest before they retired.
"That will teach them" he said but in what it looked a minute two birds appeared from behind, grab him by the shoulder and lift him up, way up. Then after some flying they throw him in a nest were five birds tried to slice him up. They bite Neothen in many places but no real damage was made. He managed to kill all the birds, and after the last bird fall Neothen losted conciousness and when he woke up he though he was home happy and powerfull.
But when he opened his eyes he came back to reality. He looked the five dead birds and all the wounds in his body. He stood up and looked down. He couldn't see his friends, and he the worst was he didn't knew where he was. Neothen looked to the dark sky and to the stars. Many birds were flying now hunting for prays. He wonder if his friends would still be alive. He turned and began to descend from the tree....

[Phenix]

*a few minits after Neothen had been taken by the birds*

" those...those birds I've seen them b...befor....let's get out of here or els here will be more of them" whit that he walked out of teh shield and started to walk into teh wood

[Neothen]

When Neothen got to the bottom of the tree he looked around seeing more than one hundred bones from the nest.He had been carried to the entrance of the forest."Lumar"the path lit with a blue light."As long as Oren has her wisemans stone I can follow this light."

[Nenya Evenstar]

The darkness receeded, and a bright light came through the blankness. Nenya awoke, her eyes dazzled by the presence of the light that was not there. She struggled up onto her feet amazed to find that her weariness and pain were gone, replaced by strength and ease. She could also see now, albeit slightly, for high above her was a thin crack in the stone which let in a ray of light. "The door!" The thought hit Nenya and she began to search the walls hopefully in the new light for the door. There was nothing. She searched for an hour, but still found nothing. Utterly dejected, Nenya sat down on the cold dirt floor and pondered her hunger, and her new-found strength....

[Bírun]

búrun and maulor walked south in the misty mountains when they suddenly saw a small group of orchs that had a prisoner. they attacked the orchs, after they have killed all the orchs búrun walked up to the uncounsius man and realized that it was bírun. he tryed to wake him up, and after a while he woked up and said -Where am I? then búrun said - you are safe now bírun then bírun said - and who are you? as he turned against maulor - I'm búrun and that is my friend maulor a beorning. then búrun hugged bírun and said - I thought I would never see you again my brother. after that they made a camp and went to sleep.

[Oren]

*Oren stopped Phenix*
"We must find Neothen! Without his help we will not be able to defeat this brother."
*Oren took out the stone Neothen had given her. She turned it in her palm. Then she closed her eyes. Her body began to take the form of another animal. Once again, a bird. Long red feathers grew on her body. Instead of shrinking, she gre this time. Almost twice in size. In front of Phenix, now stook a tall red Pheonix. Her feathers red as the blood shed from the birds. She let out a shrill scream. Then she had Phenix get on her back. Together, they flew over the trees. Looking, searching for their lost friend...*

[Princess Vi]

Tinuviel walks along about 20 feet away from where Oren and Phenix just were. for the past days she had followed behind the fellowship, silent, unnoticed, and, TInuviel smiles, forgotten. She hears Oren's screech and smiles quietly. when the blackbirds attacked, she had wandered into the forest, making sure no others where there. She had just finished before she heard Oren. "well, now I suppose I should rejoin them...." She touches her own stone, and turns into a large eagle. She shreaks(OOC: is that what you would call the noise an eagle makes?), and her eagle, owl, and hawk fly up to her 15 minutes later. She says in a human voice--even though she is in form of bird-- "I knew you would come. hurry, we must catch up with them." The four quickly fly up above the trees, and see Phenix riding a pheonix. The phenix must be Oren. She flies swiftly to them, and when she reaches them, a poisen-green dragon 6 feet long flies up to them, it's 15 foot from tip-to-tip wings making the wind blow hard. It flies in mid-air, going up and down with each flap. Tinuviel perches on it's back, and her blue stone, now hanging around her neck where everyone can see it, glows brightly, and she turns back to her beautiful Elvish form. her 3 birds continue flying around them. Tinuviel smiles at the pheonix and Phenix. "Oren I presume? apparantly you didn't notice you had left without me." She says teasingly "it isn't that easy to get rid of the Princess of Lorien!"

[Oren]

*oren smiles at the sight of the dragon. She flies faster. Then tells Phenix to hang on. She dives down and almost hits the ground, then flies about a foot above the ground. She zig zags around trees.*

[Princess Vi]

Tinuviel whispers something in her dragons ear(OOC do they even have ears????), and the dragon quickly follows and catches up with Oren. "so where are we going?"

[Oren]

*Oren laughs* "I dunno! *She stops in a split second and sits on a rock. She listens. Nothing* "I am trying to find Neothen. He has been carried off by evil birds." *then Phenix gets off her back and Oren changed back into a human. She drinks a bit of water from a canteen she had been carrying*

[Princess Vi]

Tinuviel wonders how the evil birds could've gotten away without her knowing. Suddenly she sees a blinding flash, gone immediately after it came. She looks at the others t see if they saw it too, but they showed no signs of having seen it. Tinuviel sits on another rock, a few feet away from the others, pondering that flash, and wondering if it had anything to do with her past.......

[Phenix]

Phenix sits whit oren, " wow that was amesing...do we know where the birds nest are? or are we just gona searh every where untill we find him?"

[Neothen]

Neothen walks for a long time following the blue path.Suddenly the path ends Neothen finds claw like prints on the ground."It seems they have a dragon with them.Well i'll just have Laviathin sniff out this smaller dragon."Neothen blew his whistle hoping Burun was done with Laviathin.Soon enough his dragon came."Laviathin follow this dragons scent maybe we'll find the others."Neothen mounted his dragon and flew off.

[Princess Vi]

Tinuviel's dragon's head suddenly jerk up, and it starts sniffing wildly. "what is it, girl?" The dragon gets up and starts walking down the path. "Alara! come back here!" Tinuviel jumps up and runs after her dragon, and starts pulling her back. "ok, she only does that when there's another dragon near, and just in case it isn't Laviathin, we should have Alara stay here, and we hide in the trees."

[Neothen]

suddenly Laviathin jerked down to the forest."I guess you've found them."Neothen jumped down and looked around he didn't see anyone but there were two blue lines instead of one."someone els has a wisemans stone besides Oren!"

[Oren]

*oren became her raven form with her stone. Then she flew to where Tinuveil's dragon had gone. She knew not of another dragon except for Neothen's. Then about a mile away from the two others, she found Neothen. She let out shrill cry, and flew to him. She took her human form and hugged him* "Neothen! i am so glad to see you! I didn't think we'd find you! C'mon, I'll take you to the others" *she said, and she walked with him untill they met up with Tinuveil and Phenix.* "It's alright you guys. It's Neothen!"

[Neothen]

I thank you for finding me but we still need to defeat Dainn's brother.

[Oren]

"yes. Lets keep going" *The group walks on. They walk untill night fall. They all are tired and hungry. They stop for a while, not knowing weather or not to stop for the night.* "will we stop here?"

[Neothen]

"I guess it's okay here I'm going to scout the area does anyone want to come?"Neothen suddenly gets a sharp pain in his head he knows there close to the lair but he doesn't show his pain instead he stands there waiting for an answere.

[Phenix]

Phenix steps forwards whit a quik look at oren which no-one notice " I'll come whit you"

[Neothen]

"Well I think some walking would be good for you.We'll be back in a few minutes."Neothen and Phenix walk around the camp slowly moving outward.

[Oren]

*Oren nodded. She sat down and leaned against a tree. She closed her eyes. She had not slept in days and she was very tired.*

[Neothen]

When Neothen and Phenix made the last circle they went back to the camp.Neothen took out his last wisemans stone."This is my stone I think I need to refresh my forms."Neothen put on the stone and he turned into an eagle twice the size of a man.Then he turned into his second form it was a boaconstrictor at least twenty feet long.His last form was a ram.When Neothen was finished he just sat down and fell asleep.

[Oren]

*Oren opened her eyes. She stood up and walked into the woods a bit. She found a large rock, and sat down. She reached into a small bag hanging off her belt. She pulled out a small flute type of instrument. She put it to her lips and started to play a beautiful mealody. It was almost like a lulabye.*(sp?)

[Ponte]

Búrun woked up and then he awakened Bírun and Maulor. When they al had woked up they ate a very quick meal and then started to travel south again. But after just about an hours traveling the mountains ver to hard to travel in, they were forced to go down the slopes of the mountain. When they understood this they started to climb down the slopes of the mountain on the west side. It took a whole day to climb down to the ground. When they had reached the ground they made a camp and went to sleep. The next day Bírun woked up first and he waked Búrun and Maulor up. They ate a quick meal anmd then started to travel south again next to the mountains. They walked south there for many days without finding any trace of the man. But one day they far away saw a fortress, this one were much bigger than the fortress that the beornings had attacked. Búrun, Bírun and Maulor then stopped and started to think over what to do.

[Phenix]

Phenix sat by the fire when he hear the melody. " what was that" he said to him self and went out scouting for hostile things in the woods

[Oren]

*Oren sees Phenix walking around in the woods. She stops playing and smiles.* "What are you doing? You should be resting, you haven't fully recovered yet..." *She walks over to him*

[Phenix]

" I heard some music and went to cheek it out, you'r good you know, it was really nice"

[Oren]

*Oren blushed* "Thank you...we probably better get heading back to camp..."

[Phenix]

they returned to teh camp and sat down beside the fire, after a wile Phenix bow himself closer to oren and kissed her and then quikly backed of " I'm sorry I don't know what came onto me"

[Oren]

*oren looked into Phenix's eyes. A look of sympathy came over her. She reached over and ran her fingers through his hair*

[Phenix]

Phenix looked back into orens eyes and kissed her again still afraid that she would get mad.

[Oren]

*Oren is a bit surprised at Phenix's action. But she kisses him back just the same. Then she draws her head back. She studies his expresion. A deep love set in his eyes. Then she rests her head on his shoulder*

[Phenix]

just as Phenix was gona say something he hears a big yawing and he turns around and sees Neothen wake up " god morning Neothen" he say

[Oren]

*Oren startled looks around to see Neothen, looking at her with dissapointment in Phenix's arms. She watches his every move*

[Neothen]

Neothen became nervous watching the two.He got up and walked into the woods pondering over his many losses and his darkest secret that he told nowone about not even Oren.That dark secret was the thought of his loved one that fell to the hands of his enemy.That was Neothens biggest weakness towards his enemy.After he lost his wife Neothen seeked vengence to his his enemy.His loss cost him his ability to rule his own land so only when he gets revenge then he'll return to his kingdom.Neothen walked back to the camp and made himself some breakfast.He packed and prepared to leave.

[Ponte]

Maulor said - Let's go to it and see what it is. Búrun then said - The fortress seams to be ver well guarded, is there any meaning to see what it is, we will probably be discovered by the onces in the castle. But then Bírun said - but perhaps the once in the castle are friendly, even tho I doubt it. But then Búrun said - But that doesn't matter Bírun, if they aren't and we are captured then they will take us as prisoners, at least, and perhaps even kill us. Maulor then said - But we must see what it is, if we are carefull they probably wont find us. Búrun then thought for a moment and then said - ok then, let's see what it is. Bírun then said - yea, let's do it. Then Búrun Maulor and Bírun started to sneak against the fortress, it were at the southest parts of the misty mountains, no one of them knew this but it was the old tower of Orthanc that had been raised by the numenoreans a long long time ago that they were sneaking against. They entered the dale that the fortress were in and then walked on a mountain that lay slightly north of the tower. When they were right north of the fortress they looked against it. they saw orchs that guarded it and they understood that it was an evil that ruled the fortress, they started to think that it was the evil man that they searched for.

[Oren]

*Oren gets up and helps Neothen pack the rest of the supplies. She feels akward, she didn't think that he would wake up. She saw that he was a little bit grim* "What's the matter? I am sorry that you had to see that..."

[Neothen]

"Just seeing you and Phenix remined me of a painful memory.One that I won't share, not today at least."Neothen finished packing his things and stood up."I have many sad memories and I won't be sharing them soon."

[Nenya Evenstar]

There was a clank, and suddenly Alya could see a door. It was right there in the wall where any normal door should be, but it had not been there a second ago. She moved over to it to try to find a handle, anything, to escape. She was now desperate, and a feeling of death was creeping upon her. The door flung open, but opened from the outside, not the inside, and an ill-smelling vapor flowed from the dark opening. Alya put her hand to her nose, trying not to breath the fumes, but it was of no use. She struggled, fell, and lay motionless, submitting herself to the fumes' power.

[Princess Vi]

Tinuviel stood a little ways from the others. She saw Oren and Phenix kissing, but she did't really care. Nor did she care that Neothen said it reminded him about a sad memory. She had plenty of sad memories, and frightening ones. Right now she was worried about Burun and Alya. Suddenly she speaks very quietly. "we should go look for them." She looks up and says louder "Burun and Alya I mean."

[Neothen]

"We're here for a reason we still have to defeat Dainns brother." *Neothen seemed annoyed at Tinuviel's attitude.*

[Ponte]

After a while Búrun, Bírun and Maulor saw that a army were marching away from the tower, and the leader of it were the mn that they had searched for. When Búrun saw this he said - Now when I know this I'm going to return to my companions and tell them this, that was why I went here, to search for the man's home. Now when he have found it I will return and tell the others, will you follow me? Bírun said yes and Maulor said after a little while of thinking yes to. Now they started to travel north again.

[Princess Vi]

Tinuviel glares at Neothen, knowing full well that he dissaproved of her attitude, but for all se cared, he could get over it. She stands up, and says in a quiet, calm, cool voice, "Then we should go DEFEAT him. Just standing here isn't going to do that."

[Neothen]

"Then it's settled we will go on the ground so we can find the lair."*Neothen turned into a boaconstrictor and slithered into a tree waiting for the others.*"We're very close!"

[Oren]

*Oren rolled her eyes at the two fighting. She was a bit worried that some of it was her fault. Guilt set in her stomach, but kept going all the same. She walked behind the others, thinking about what to do.*

[Princess Vi]

Tinuviel quickly seems to vanish, but slowly Phenix, Neothen, and Oren see a shadow where she was standing. The Shadow has no defenite shape, and seems like black liquid, both solid and not solid. The Shadow assumes the shape of a tall, dark Elf, and moves silently after the boa constricter, barely visible even to those with the keenest sight. The Shadow seemed to slither around, over, under, and through trees and underbrush. The Shadow speaks in a barely audible, unearthly voice. "I am Tinuviel. Things have ocured in my past that cause me to be able to do this. But that does not matter now. We must go." Tinuviel vanishes completely for a second, only to be seen a few feet away from where she just was.

[Oren]

*Oren watched the shadow in wonder. Wondering how this had happened, She kept walking.*

[Phenix]

"well that's something u don't see every day"

[Oren]

*Oren laughs at Phenix's remark. Finally, some laughter. This whole journey has been nothing but seriousness*

[Ponte]

Búrun, Bírun and Maulor first traveled over the mountains that lay to the west fo them, they came over them rather easy and it took less then a day. When they came down on the other side of the mountains they had comed into Dunland. There they started to travel north. After a while a black horse came against them, the horse went to Búrun and stopped there, the horse stood there and looked at Búrun, after a while Búrun tried to mount the horse, and the horse let him mount it. Búrun then said to the horse - I will give you the name Heffaklumpen. The horse looked at Búrun and then seamed to think. After a while it seamed to have ended to think. Búrun then went of the horse and went away some meters, there he said - Heffaklumpen, come here. The horse thought for a very short while and then went to Búrun. Búrun wasn't sure that the horse had understood so he then let Maulor go away some meters. Then Búrun said to Maulor that he should say Heffaklumpen come here. Maulor then went away some meters and said - Come here Heffaklumpen. The horse now went to Maulor almost directly and now Búrun understood that the horse had got it. Búrun then said - Come here Heffaklumpen. Heffaklumpen came to Búrun and then Búrun mounted Heffaklumpen. Búrun then said to Bírun and Búrun - I think that it should be best if I went back to the others together with Heffaklumpen, even tho I will be forced to leave you here, the others is perhaps worried over me, I have been away for almost a month now, will you accept that I leave? Both Bírun and Maulor said yes and then Bírun and Maulor now made a camp and started to sleep while Búrun rode away with Heffaklumpen.

Ps: Sorry it took so long guys.... I was on vacation on Chile and they don´t have internet over there..... But anyway the bad guy is back and you are almost at the end of the forest... Not that it will be the end of your journey for after the forest, something worst is coming....But well let´s wait till you get there.... By the way Phenix and Oren, congratulations for finding love between each other.... You make a perfect couple, and i hope you will take care of your love, for the dark forces also take placer in breaking great love(like Neothen i suppose) Anyway here we go.....


Neothen was worried now.He could almost feel the precense of a powerfull entity. In the journey Tinuviel had join them and that was excellent she will be a great allly... But he wonder if they would be enough to defeat Dainn´s brother and get out alive. His mind stopped working ,to feel the forest... The trees had change, there was silence and the wind seemed cold, like disturbed because they were there... Neothen knew they had reached the lair. He felt something in his back like a cold chill. All of them did and they looked to their right. There a shadow appeared in the thick violet fog that this forest always had at nigh. The fog dissappeared and in front of them stood Dainn´s brother. He had been once a beautifull elf but the evil had corrupt him so much that he was almost a goblin now. His face was still that of an elf but his skin was dark and his nose had started to change as well as his ears... He was dressed in a violet cloath, and had a dark staff in his hand, but the most impresive thing was his dark crown with violet leaves everywhere. His dark eyes reflected hate.... ``Greetings `` he said smiling, like you would smile at something insignificant that threatens you....His eyes were on Oren now

[Neothen]

Neothen stares at elf without looking away he turns back to human form and takes out his wand."I'm warning your no match for this campany the darkness in your mind only gives you despair."

[Ponte]

Heffaklumped was a very fast horse and Búrun could ride very fast with him. He rode whole that night since the horse wasn't tired and he were close to Tharbad when the morning came. But now he dismounted his horse and made a camp in acave in the ground that he found. After a whiel he came to slep even tho it was hard because of that it was so light outside.

[sauronbill]

``Brave words human``, said Dainn´s brother,´´We´ll see if you are worthy of them. You and your company... i am Gavpahg, but most of the people call me Gav...I can sense you were sent by my brother, and since i know that i think i already know the purpose of your jorney``, the elf laugh,``who are you human``, he said looking at Neothen now, ``and who are your friends...perhaps i could meet you before i kill you...``said the elf-gobling smiling

[Oren]

*Oren took her Bear from. She growled, and did everything she could not to lunga at the man. Her heart filled with hatred. Then she thought, I must stay calm. It was hatered that got this "Gav" into darkness Oren walked up beside Neothen* "You will do no such thing." *She growled at him. She felt his gaze peirce her body, as if he could see everything bad about her. Her heart sank with guilt, but stood strong*

[Neothen]

"I am Neothen wizard and king of Doroth.You have great power but that is also your weakness.Your mind is twisted and only knows power but your only a detour to our real goal."

[Phenix]

Phenix layed an arow on teh bow... not that it would mater whit both neothens magic and orens bear form but still...

[Nenya Evenstar]

The evil elf raised his hand in a gesture of command, and the arrow in Phenix's bow bounded uselessly to the ground. "Do not attack me!" he ordered, "for I have something that I can use against you."

"You are a fool!" Phenix fitted another arrow into his bow and aimed it at the enemy's face.

"Wait!" Tinuviel's voice broke out with urgency, "Do not shoot yet, Phenix! What is it that you can use against us?"

"Hahahahahaha..." the evil laughter filled the woods. "I have your pitiful friend. She says her name is Alya. I can order her death anytime for her head is on the block even as we speak."

"Do not listen to him!" Dainn warned. "His voice is full of poison and lies."

"Oh! My dear brother!" the elf-goblin whispered sarcastically, "So sure, are we?" He snapped his fingers, and out of a cave which had before been hidden in the trees issued many birds driving forth a horse. Tinuviel looked at it and saw that it was indeed Alya's horse. "You see, I do have her! I also have many hosts at my call - choose your words wisely!"

[Oren]

*Oren looked at her friend. Her face became worried* "Ayla!" *She called out to her, but she was unconcious* "NO! Let her go!"

[Neothen]

*Neothen stared at the ground he put his wand back in its case took of his belt and droped it to the ground.*"Take me instead"*Everyone stops moving and stares at Neothen.*"I will take Alya's place"*Oren looks at him with shock.*"Don't worry for my life I'm not out yet I'll take care of Gav get Alya to safety.I'll fight you without my weapons you twisted fiend."

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe walks slowly up behind some bushes. She spies her friends Oren and Neothen throught the trees with some others that look less familiar. She also sees the problem going on, and hears Neothen challenging this dark elf. She crouches down behind the bushes and watches intently, not wanting to create a disturbance. She watches carefully, wondering if she'll be noticed. "Be careful, Neothen" she whispers silently to herself.

[Oren]

*oren's heart sinks. Neothen has good will, but he cannot fight a dark elf by himself. Especially without his weapons. Then Oren picks up a strange scent comming from the woods. It seems familliar. She doesn't know what to do.*

[Neothen]

"If you want to fight me than I'll let you take the first move."* Neothen takes off his robe reveiling a cotton vestment. This is what Neothen always did when he prepared for battle.*"Unless you want to play with blades instead."*Neothen motioned to his sword.*"It's your choice on how we fight."

[Oren]

"Neothen! You can't..." *She begins to cry. Staggering backwards, she drops to the ground*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Evil laughter echoed again. "So you want to fight? Very well! Then consider Alya as good as dead! She is under my command inside my fortress even as we speak being guarded by my many servants. She will not escape." He raised a blood-red sword.

[ILLOTRTM]

Valanthe draws her blade quickly by instinct. Then, she figures it may not be the best idea. As she brings her blade back to it's sheath, it catches a bit of light, that flashes across Oren's face. Oren looks over at Valanthe, and they make eye contact. Valanthe simply stares at her friend, not knowing what to do.

[sauronbill]

``Listen to me Neothen``, said Dain,``you will have to let your friend die if you want to defeat him, it´s the only way...i am sorry i didn´t knew he had her but....´´
´´Silence brother´´, said the dark elf and his eyes reflected anger.He looked at his brother eyes.´´You know you don´t have power here, so why don´t you take your words with you´´. After saying this the elf threw a violet ball that hit Dainn making him dissapear.´´Don´t worry about my brother he just should have stay in his forest....Where were we Neothen, oh yes! Our fight....´´the elf raise his sword but he didn´t bring it down on Neothen, why kill with sword when you can kill with power....
Neothen´´, said Oren in that momment breaking the elf thoughts, but before she could move many roots came out from the place where she was standing and hold her to the ground.
´´What do we have here?´´, said the elf laughing when Oren fell in the trap,´´a beorning, that´s sure something you don´t see every day. You just hold on untill i take care of you beautiful....And Neothen, you can save your friend if you want...Hmm why don´t we make this a little more fun.´´ In that momment Alya appeared behind him all tied up in roots.´´If you win you´ll get your friend, if you loose i get your life....Simple right. So come and get her, if you can....´´ When the elf finished his crown made a strange glow and with just a gesture of his hands the trees around started to move. They were the treants almost two times the size of a man, and twice as wide. They looked like ents most of them except for the head and their red eyes. They were slow but powerfull. More than three were in front of Gav now, and other four were surrounding Phenix and the others, and the laugh of Gav was heard in the forest one more time......

[Neothen]

" Your only hiding behind your creatures but I can fix that. Laviathin tear these creatures apart."

[Oren]

*Oren glares at this elf. She strugles to get out of his trap. He is to strong. She is desperatly trying to think of what to do. Then she remembers the wizemans stone. She grips it as best as she can. Then her body takes the form of a raven. She flies out from his trap. She swoops down and grabs the crown of leaves off from Gav's head. She then flies, with the crown, over to her friend in the bushes. Dropping the crown at her feet. Then she soars back up into the sky, and lets out an ear peircing scream.

[Neothen]

*Laviathin gave punishing blows to the large creatures but it was taking to long. So Neothen sliped in between to of the creatures and he faced Gav drawing his sword.*" I see you've lost your power now I can face you correctly."* Neothen lifted his sword.*" Any last words."

[sauronbill]

Gav was nervous now. He didn´t count that Oren could change into a raven, that was unexpected, same as Neothen controlling a dragon.... He knew his end was near, he could feel it. The treants stopped in that momment and became trees just the way they were. He had lost his power in the blink of an eye, just like that. ´´No´´, he said in his mind, he could not die like this, not at the hands of a simple human. Gav took Ayla´s head and put his sword on her neck...´´Give me the crown or she dies,´´he said to Oren. Then he turned to Neothen,´´One more step and i´ll cut her head off´´...He looked to the eyes of Neothen, he saw valor there and death, but also doubt. He smiled, he still had a chance......

[Neothen]

" You don't listen very well behind you is your fate something just for you."* Behind Gav was a hungery dragon.*" If you kill Alya Laviathin will incinerate you. And if that doesn't work than your crown will be destroyed. Make a choice."

[sauronbill]

Gav didn´t turn around, but he felt the heat of the dragon´s breath on his shoulders and look at Neothen eyes. Where once was doubt there was confidence now....´´Just give me my crown then, or she will go with me i swear´´......

[Nenya Evenstar]

All that passed was lost on Alya, for she was in a deep trance and could not see or hear. She was dreaming.

[Neothen]

" Fine here you go."* Neothen handed Gav a crown of leaves but thats only a crown of leaves. Neothen had one last thing up his sleeve and he was hoping it would work.*

[sauronbill]

Gav didn´t move. He looked at the crown and laugh, a nervous laugh but still it was a laugh. The game that Neothen was trying to pull was useless. ´´Do you think i am stupid? Is that what you think? I think you being a mage would know better....That couldn´t possibly be my crown, even a child would know that... Now give me my crown or say good bye to your friend i am not kidding´´, he then looked to Neothen´s eyes with cruelty.....

[Phenix]

Phenix just stood behind don't really know what to do

[Oren]

*Oren flew back down to Gav. She flew faster than anyone could see. Her friends life depended on her. She flew straight for Gav's sword. He reacted to her, and swung his sword. It hit her, but flew out of his hand and shattered on the ground. Now a large slice in her side. Blood dripped on the ground. With the rest of her strength, she flew to the heart of the woods. There she found a small clearing. She landed on the grass. Her body automactically, took human form, and there she lay. Her breathing came hard. Sharp and painful, her body began to lose it's life...*

[Phenix]

" Oren!!" Phenix yells when he sees her geting hurt andtehn he runs into teh forest to fnd her. he found hr in teh middle of teh forest deadly wounde " oren No u cant die" he sayed as he kneed beside her"come on u'll make it, the others will be her soon" he cryed as he saw that she was geting weker

[Oren]

*Oren looks up at Phenix.* "My darling *She barly is able to speak* "It is my turn to go...*She reaches up to his face, and puts her hand on his cheek* "I love you and always will...please...please...please tell my father...that I...am...gone...*She trails off, looking at him* "Do not cry...we will meet again..."

[Neothen]

" YOU WILL PAY DEARLY FOR THAT."* Neothen lunged forward attacking Gav with the worst magic possible. The earth shook under Neothen's anger he gave as much pain to Gav as he could. But finally Neothen became so angry that all that was left of Gav's body was his insides. After killing Gav Neothen nelt to the ground in pain of losing his best friend his hatred grew once again in his mind. Neothen had lost all of his friends and family at the hands of darkness.*

Dainnn apeared then. He put his right arm on Neothen´s shoulders. ´´Nothing i´ll do will ever pay for what my brother had done. I am sorry about her, she seemed a great girl and a brave beorning. She really represented her people.´´Dainn wasn´t sure if Oren was dead or not but her eyes seem weak and her body motionless. The worst pain in Dainn´s chest is that even with all his power, he couldn´t help her.....

After watching everything happen so fast, Valanthe pops out of the bushes and rushes to her friends side. "Oren...." She whispers. She puts a hand on her friends forehead, but it's ice cold. She turns around and looks at Neothen with tears in her eyes. She calls his name in a weak, shaking voice, not knowing what to say.

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya lay on the ground in a trance neither speaking or moving. Her face was a deathly pale and her skin cold to touch, but for now she was left lying on the ground next to what had once been Gav.

[Oren]

*Oren began to cough. She knew she didn't have much longer. She sees all her friends crying.* "Don't cry....It'll be ok....you still need....to help Burun...." *Then she closes her eyes...*

(I am not positive if I am going to die. If one of you wants to save me or something, go ahead. I can't think of anything to post and I am getting quite bored. If you people want to do something with me, I don't care. I think that this is getting a little boring and we need to make it better! So whatever...You people do what ever...)

[Neothen]

" This is beond my power to heal I think this is the end for our friend."* Neothen looked even more discouraged it seemed he had lost everything.*

[Phenix]

" aren't there anything u can do" Phenix asked neothen
neothen shaked his head
not far after that oren past away leaving her friend behind crying.

they buried her in the forest and continued there jurney to find the evil man. befor they left the place were oren was buried Phenix turned around and wispered " I love you oren" then he returned to the others which had keept going.

Búrun woked up, he went out of the cave and mounted Heffaklumpen, then he rode away over Tharbad, he then rode ithout stop for many days untill he reached the foresst where his companions had been when he left them, but they were not there, the only thing he could see that showed that they had been there was that he saw a grave in the foresst, he went to it and he saw that it was the grave of Oren, when he saw it he become very sad over the loss of her. He stood at her grave for a while and mourned over the loss of his friend. But then Búrun mounted Heffaklumpen and then rode away to search for the rest of the company.

[Neothen]

" Dain, don't feel like it's your fault Oren's dead. I think I could use a new friend right now. I know you put us through this ordeal but I forgive you for all the trouble."

[sauronbill]

´´i know Neothen´´, said Dain with tears coming out of his eyes,´´but still i can´t help to feel responsible for what happen to her. I will surely would like to assist you on this quest and to defeat the evil that you are looking for....But unfortunatelly my magic and my responsability are linked to this forest and there is nothing i can do... But you or any of your friends or family that pass through this part it will always be welcome in my forest...But now i´ll have to say good bye and good luck to you all´´and with this Dainn dissappeared...

[Ponte]

When Búrun were very close to the end of the forest he saw Dainn, he dismounted his horse and went to Dainn, he then asked what that had happened with Oren and where the others had went.

[Neothen]

* Neothen thought for a bit. Family. Neothen had no family. He turned to Alya to see what was wrong.*" She suffers from weakness and hunger."* Neothen gave her a shot and fed her some strange liquid which seemed to give her some strength.*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya struggled to sit up but could only do so with Neothen's aid. "What happened?" She managed to say. "Where am I? Why..." her face clouded as her memories came clouding back unbidden into her head.

[Neothen]

" Don't move, you'll get all your answers soon. You must ease your mind now."

[Nenya Evenstar]

Neothen's voice was soothing to Alya's troubled mind, and she relaxed back against a tree letting her mind rest. Very soon she was sleeping in a deep sleep of forgetfulness, not even remembering her past treatment and hearing only the voice of her friends breaking through her facade of dreams.

All the company rested that night. They all cried for the death of Oren, specially Phenix. When in the morning two strangers came to meet the company. This two foreingers were very strange, the first one was a female elf dressed in a red cloath and armed with a large bow and arrows. The second foreinger looked even more strange, he was a tall man dressed in just a large chain mail that covered him from the neck to his knees. It had also a helmet , and it was armed with a large sword. But the strangest about this man is that his skin was as blue as the sky.
The two strangers approached the company,´´Greetings travelers, may the heavens and the gods look always after you. What reason bring you out to this part of the land where only the stronger survive?´´

[Neothen]

" We were set on a mission here and now it is finished so we search for the rest of our company."* Neothen felt much better seeing people who would greet them instead of attacking them.*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya woke up from her sleep to see the morning sunshine and the faces of strangers. Her first reaction was to defend herself, but upon seeing that the newcomers meant no harm she dispelled such thoughts from her mind. Her body felt much better, and her mind was eased though still troubled by black memories, so she stood up on her stiff legs to stretch. "Yes, and we are also on another mission," she said. "There is and evil man who is the leader of the Orchish Empire whom we are trying to destroy. Middle-earth will see peace only after he is gone."

[sauronbill]

The beautifull elf ranger and the tall blue man heard what Ayla said and they were shock for the man they were after was the cause of all the troubles in this part of the land. They consulted each other with a language none of the travelers could understand and then they turned and face Ayla. ´´May we join you in this quest?´´asked the elf ranger with doubt in her voice......

[Oren]

*They all felt a weird feeling, as though something were watching them. Then a cool breeze began to blow across their faces. At once, Ayla heard something whispering in her mind, "Yes...these are good people...they will help you..." it said. Then it moved on to each of the people untill everyone had heard it. It was Oren. Once she had died she couldn't be put to rest. Her soul would wander the earth untill the Orc King was killed, and when her father knew of her death.*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya's face looked as though it was seeing things out of the past, and there was a dream-like quality to her voice as she spoke, "Yes, you may join. You will be very welcome here." Then her voice became even more strange as she said slowly, "Oren, from where do you return? Is it possible? Has your spirit found no rest?" Time seemed to stand still.

[Oren]

*another whisper comes* "yessss....it is I...I will not leave you....untill this qest is over....tell the othersss...."

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya looked up, her eyes glassy. "Oren wishes me to tell you all that she will not be leaving us. She will be with us until our quest is complete." Alya's eyes came back to normal, and she noticed that her strength was completely restored. Her jaw dropped open for she had been healed.

[Phenix]

as soon as Alya mentioned oren Phenix looked up " waht are u talking about...she's dead...right"

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya slowly shook her head. "No, I think not! She has come back, somehow, someway! I think that her spirit perhaps could find no rest, for she had not accomplished what she needed to accomplish." Stillness pervaded throughout the company. "She is alive!"

[Neothen]

* Neothens face lit up but then went sad.*" This is Orens curse she won't go to rest until shes fufilled her promise."

[Nenya Evenstar]

"No!" Alya replied, "I do not think that this is a curse, Neothen. For a curse is something which happens from evil, and the Evil that slayed Oren would have preferred her to die once and for all. But you have defeated that evil, and Oren has been released from the dominion of death, if dominion you could call it. Why? I do not know, but I can tell you that if she has been permitted to return to us, if even for a short time, then there is undoubtedly a purpose laid out for her in the depths of time. So say rather that she has been blessed, not cursed." Alya smiled.

[Oren]

*A wind blew into Ayla's ear* "Yesss...that iss true...I can go whenever I feel like it though...I have the power to leave...but I feel itss my duety to help you...It iss very tireing tho...I might leave for a while..but I will be back..."

[Phenix]

as soon as everything had bee cleard up the company breaked up adn marched on for three weeks with out any problems.

[Ponte]

But Dainn didn't answered on Búruns questions, he dissapeared and Búrun went back to Heffaklumpen. He mounted Heffaklumpen and rode east. When Búrun was a few meters east of the forest he saw a man, the man came closer and he saw that it was Ulath. Búrun dismounted Heffaklumpen and went to Ulath, he then asked him - Why are you alone here, what has happened to the others? Ulath answered - II made a camp one time when they were traveling in the night instead, and the next day they were far far way from me, I haven't seen them for almost a month and they hadn't reached Dainn when they disapeared. Have you found something about where the evil man lives? Búrun answered - Yea I have, he had a fortress in the misty mountains, but he also has retakened Orthanc, that I think you know much about. - Hm, how shall we get him then? Ualth said. Búrun then said - I don't know, but I must find the other companions, I have a thing that I want you to do, btw. Ulath then asked - What? Búrun answered - Oren has been killed, I want you to go and search for her father, Maulor, he is in comppany with Bírun a little north of Tharbad, can you go and tell him that? Ulath answered - Yea I can. Ulath then started to walk south from the forest against Tharbad. Búrun mounted Heffklumpen and rode east in search for his companions.

[Neothen]

* Neothen sat down on a rock and had a bite to eat.*" I think we need to let Burun find us. If we keep going then he will never meet up with us.*

[Treantro]

As Ulath traveled south he saw a dwarf, he walked towards the Dwarf and asked who he was. The dwarf answered- Ny name is Brazka the son of Zlazka, I'm a dwarf from the Blue Mountains, who are you? Ulath answered - My name is Ulath, I'm a champion of Gondor, I'm currently traveling south to tell some people about that one dude has died, do you want to follow me? Brazka answered - Well, yea I would like to, many orcs has comed as far west as the Blue mountains, it's dangerous to travel here. I have heard rumours of a man that is ruling an Orchish empire in the misty mountains, do you know anyting about? Ulath answered - Yea, I know rather much about him, I will tell you what I know. Then Ulath telled Brazka what he knew about the orchish empire. When Ulath had tolld Brazka that he said - Hm, does he live in the old tower of Orthanch, starnge, but let's start to travel south now and tell the ones about what has happened with the one that died. Then Ulath and Brazka started to travel south.

Búrun rode east for a few days, then he saw some peoples that had a camp, he went to the camp and saw that it was his old companions that had the camp. Búrun dismounted Heffaklumpen and went to the camp. There he said to them that he had returned and he then said to them - I was taked as a prisoner by the evilman in his northern castle, but an amry of Beornings, leaded by their king and Maulor, oren's fatehr attacked the castle and saved me. I and Maulor started to travel south to find the evil man. When we traveled south we met Bírun and right now he probably is with Maulor a little north of Tharbad. I,. Maulor and Bírun continued to travel south and after we had traveled fro some week we foubd his second castle, the old tower of Orthanch. After we had found it we started to travel north. On my way north I met this horse *Búrun showed where Heffaklumpen was* and gave him the name Heffaklumpen. Heffaklumpen is a fast horse so I came to the forest in just a very few days, in the forest I saw Oren's grave, and I also found <<ulath, I telled him to go south and tell Maulor and Bírun that Oren is dead. After that I went east and found you.

[Neothen]

" This evil man sounds familiar aimost like I knew him in the past but he would have to know me."* Neothen went deep into thought.*

[sauronbill]

All the travelers were talking and happy of Burun return, while someplace not far from there sixteen red eyes were watching them in the dark....Seven harpies and a powerfull banshee had their eyes on this little company. ´´We can take them my queen´´, said one of the harpies, her mouth was in need for fresh blood.
´´Not yet´´, said the banshee, her red eyes seemed to look for something in the dark, something she couldn´t quite see, but she could feel it.´´There is something in the air, something is with them, somekind of energy coming from another world,´´she smelled the air, like an animal who smell his pray when he is looking for it,´´i can´t quite detect it, but i know is there.....We´ll wait untill midnight, it will be better. ´Most of them will be sleep....´´

[Oren]

*Oren heard the vioces in the bushes. She became very worried. Even though she had no idea what they were she didn't think they were good. She went to Ayla* "Ayla...we need to keep moving...there's something in the woodsss...Get them up....."

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya, startled by Oren's voice in her head, jumped up. "We must move on!" She said sharply. "There is something in the woods." The others sat up straight with looks of puzzlement on their faces. "Come! Pack the supplies! We must leave!" Alya could feel Oren's urgency and now felt urgent herself.

[Neothen]

* Neothen jumped up.*" Whatever Oren sences it's not good toward men. It feels like an ancient magic from a familiar creature."* Neothen covered his body with his cloak to protect him from any evil magic.*

[sauronbill]

The banshee and the harpies saw the company packing and decided to attack inmediatly. The harpies flew to the company and began to attack it like birds that eat the dead meat. The banshee stood in front of Ayla, whatever she detect it ,it was obvious it was close to this person. The banshee say some words in a strange language and a momment later somekind of violet ball came out from her mouth, the ball hit Ayla knocking her down to the floor. Ayla try to move and find that she couldn´t the power of this magic ball had left her muscles very hard and it was almost imposible to move. ´´It will be only for a litttle while´´,said the banshee laughing,´´but the enough time to kill you´´, after saying this she took out a small dagger and went to Ayla......


PS: ok for those who don´t know:
HARPIES: Horrible and vile winged women that feeds upon
the blood of hapless caravans and foolish travelers.

BANSHEE: They wer once beautifull female elves who felt before
the power of the Darkness. They restless spirits were
left to wander the world in silent, tortured lamentation.
On certain nights, when the moon is full, their unnerving,
unholy screams can be heard in the wind.

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya lay on the ground helpless to defend herself. In the flurry of terrible thoughts that cursed through her mind there came an assurance. Oren would do something. She would be alright. The knife was coming closer, and Alya felt tense all over. What was happening in the battle near at hand? She could here screems.... the knife was almost at its mark. "OREN!!!" Came a screem from Alya's lips.

[Oren]

*Oren saw the Banshee and worried. She didn't think she could do much now that she was not flesh and bone. She went over to the banshee, and came down in front of it. The banshee could not pass any further. There was a forse field or something blocking her. Then with the rest of Oren's power she used it to destroy the banshee. Oren became very weak but defended her friends. And then all of the harpies flew away, screaming at the top of their lungs.* "Ayla.....You must keep going....you are not safe here...*Oren said with the rest of her energy, and with that she vanished.*

[Neothen]

" We must hurry before more creatures come."* Neothen got Alya on her feet and started walking.*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya had to lean on Neothen in order to walk for the strength in her muscles was still almost completely gone. "I'm sorry! I can't move very well on my own." She gasped. Neothen nodded with understanding. "We have to keep on going though...." Nenya managed. "Oren told me so - and now she is not there any longer."

[Neothen]

* The seriosness on Neothens face dissapeared revealing his carring expression.*" It's not much longer until this nightmare is over."

[Phenix]

"lets hope not, come on it cant be long untill we reach our destination"

[Oren]

*After a while, Oren finally has enough energy to return to the company. She comes down to the staggering Ayla. she places an invisible hand on Ayla's forehead. Ayla feels a coldness touching her head. Then, she is healed, and is abe to walk again! Oren becomes weak again, but stays with the group*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Neothen noticed that Alya had stopped leaning on him. Suddenly, she stopped in the middle of her tracks, amazement on her face. "I have been healed!" she whispered. "It was Oren - she has returned!"

Neothen stopped and looked at Alya, his amazement showing as well. "Oren is indeed to be thanked!" he said. "Without her we would all have undoubtedly been dead."

"Thank you, Oren," Alya whispered with her eyes closed. Her words carried double meaning.

[Neothen]

" It seems our guardian angel has returned and will protect us."* A grin formed on Neothen's face.*

[Oren]

*Oren was happy that she was able to heal Ayla. She smiles to herself, and even though she was impossible to see she knew they could feel it. She heard Ayla and wispered back* "No Problem.... *She was really weak and wouldn't be able to do much more if they encountered another attack...*

[Neothen]

" We should save our strength for the fight a head of us."

[Oren]

*Then the company heard something rustling in the bushes* "Ayla...that's not good...."

[Nenya Evenstar]

"Stop!" Alya whispered. "Oren tells me that there is something in the bushes and that it is not good. We should investigate it!" The Rider looked slowly towards the bushes, "What is it, Oren?" she thought quietly, "Is it something we can attack?"

[Oren]

You can...I can't tell you much...It just wont...agree...with us...

[sauronbill]

The bushes continued rustling in a suspisious way. But suddenly they stopped moving and a large animal came out. They all got their weapons, but soon they saw that the animal had just been hidding from something. The animal, also it had a terrible aspect, didn't do anything to them. All the oposite, he just jumped and run away(with good speed), like running away from something. None of them payed attention to the animal once it run away. But Oren could feel that something was not right with this. They continued their way quitedly, but the more they advance the more all of them(Oren felt it more than everybody)felt that something was not in right with the nature of of this place. The night became even more darker, and many shadows started to move all around them. They couldn't see it or know if they were enemies or friends, and none of them could feel an evil precense. Suddenly Oren stopped Ayla and the others, she had felt something really strong now, but couldn't tell....Yes now she could tell: Orcs!! And Goblins!! Dozens of them!!...Something magical was covering them up. Neothen and the others felt it now too. But it was too late, the shadows were now visible orcs that attacked them from everywhere....

[Phenix]

Phenix quikly layed a arrow on his bow and fired it but soon the orcs was too close for the bow so he picked up his knives and began to fight the orcs. everyone in the group killed manny orcs but they never seemd to stoop coming.

" we must escape" Phenix yelled to the others

[Neothen]

*Neothen unshiethed his sword and started hacking at the orcs. He then froze several goblins where they stood.* "There's to many of them but they've closed us in."

[Oren]

*Oren used again used most of what power she had to protect the company. Any creature that came to close, or Oren knew that they would be too strong or only one person, died. She was loosing power fast..*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya closed her eyes. "Oren! What should I do? You can tell me... whatever it is I will do it!" She drew out a knife and threw it into the face of an approaching orc just in time to save Oren from having to do it. "You cannot lose your strength again! Keep it up! Let me know what I can do to help you!" Alya prayed.

[Oren]

*Oren's vioce getting weaker, she manages to say* "There is not much you can do now...I will clear a path of orcs near the woods...you need to lead the group out of here....*And with that all the orcs on the right of the group, flew away. Leaving a path for them to escape through*

[Nenya Evenstar]

"Run!" Alya ordered, and the group passed through the opening like the wind, orcs pursing on their heels. "Thank you, Oren," Alya breathed through her teeth. The orcs were now almost upon them from behind.

[Phenix]

the company ran towards the woods but the orcs closed in on them fast.

" keep runing!" Phenix yelled and turned around to face the nearest orcs. he killed two of them with the daggers and grabed their swords. he keept fighting the orcs untill the others had reached the first trees then he retreated, but not to the woods. instead he ran around the orcs, heading for a small river a houndred yards to the right. he got almost the entire orc force to follow him...

[Neothen]

*Neothen ran as fast as he could. Suddenly something grabs his ankle and cut beep into his heel. Neothen killed the orc and tried to catch up with the others.*

Phenix continued running. He had fooled the orcs and that was good for the company. The problem was now, how he would get rid of the orcs. They were very close to him now, but Phenix had been born with good legs and that gave him a little more of advantage. He thought in going to the river(for the orcs hate to swim), but he was so busy looking back that he didn't saw the stone that was on his way.....Phenix fell down and he hurt his knee on the fall, so now he wasn't that agile. He thought on turn around and fight but he knew that was out of the question. He prefered to swim,also he wasn't so sure if he could swim so well now.But before he enter the water, a big wave formed in the middle of the river making Phenix stop and stay where he was to watch that really strange thing. The great wave materialized into an humanoide eight feet tall figure that was made out of water. Even whith the death right behind him, Phenix stayed petrified in the place watching the yellow eyes that resalted in that body of blue. Phenix threw himself to the ground, the water figure extended his large water arms and threw several jets of water that pushed the orcs back. The orcs threw lances and arrows to the water figure, everything in vane. All the weapons just passed through him. The orcs finally retired screaming and howling. Some of them had been dead for the strength of the water presure from the jets that the figure threw. Phenix stood up(with fear and ready to run if it was precise) and face the water elemental.
That's what the figure really was only that Phenix had never seen one. The water elemental got close to him,but never left the water. He moved as fast as the river current. "What are you doing here elf?"asked the water elemental, his voice sounded like a man who is drowning and has his mouth full of water. But Phenix understood him........

While the orcs that followed Phenix returned to their captain and gave him the news that the elf had been killed by some kind of water creature. The shaman(as tall as an uruk-hai), looked at the direction of the river and prefered not to check for himself the story of his guards. The magic of this powerfull shaman was the one that kept the orcs undetectable in the dark untill they had them surrounded and close enough for them not to use arrow or even elemental magic. But some kind of strange force had acted beyond his control. At least he had kill one of them. The shaman was ridding a huge warg, such animal was very uncommon on this lands.He faced one of his commanders... "Find his friends. I'll take twenty riders and we'll intercept them at the half of the way they are taking. Then you'll atacked them from behind. We'll probably give with them at dawn. We'll keep them busy long enough untill you arrive with the rest . I'll see you there."And with this the shaman and twenty more riders(with wolves no wargs) took the short cut, while the other orcs followed the prints of the company......

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya stood staring at the water where Phenix could still be seen flowing down the current. She felt a sharp slap as though something had punched her in the inmost depths of her head. "Alya!" an eerie shout echoed in the recesses of her brain. It was Oren.

"What are you doing slapping me like that?" Alya snapped, her head aching.

"Such a thing is the only possible thing to wake you up! You are supposed to be a Rider of Rohan, one of the Eorlingas! And here you are acting stupid, letting these people run leaderless. And Phenix is in the water, though I do not think he is in any immediate danger."

Alya stood there for a moment more, her eyes glazed over as Phenix drifted out of her vision. "You are right, Oren," she began, "we have sat around for too long! Come! We must be off!" Alya's voice rang through the forest like a chime. "The time has come for us to find our way out of this forest. And I fear that we will have orcs on our heals before long. We must lose them or risk our lives."

"What about Phenix?" the question rang throughout the company as they reassembled around Alya.

"Oren has informed me that Phenix will be alright. There is nothing that we can do for him at the moment other than follow him. We may have to do that to escape the orcs." With that an idea popped into Alya's head. "We should make make-shift rafts upon which to navigate the river! It is our only hope! Quickly!" Alya drew her sword and ran to the nearest tree, ready to cut.

[Neothen]

"That will take to long." *Neothen raised his hand and shot a couple blades of light at the trunk of the tree.*

[Oren]

*Oren came into Neothen's head, in a very eerie tone.* "Neothen...listen to me...you need to do what Ayla says...It is your only hope...Listen to Ayla...

[Neothen]

*Neothen tries to speak to Oren in his head.* "I just blew down a tree the least you could do is say thanks. Otherwise I'll join Phenix and wait for the others. And I don't think Alya is trying to control the company your the one who appointed her and if I want to save my own life then I will. You've forgoten how much athourity I have."

[Oren]

*Oren is very disapointed at Neothen and doesn't reply. Insead she goes to try and help the others as best as she can*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya can feel hurt and sadness emanating from Oren's mind. She could tell that the spirit was displeased with Neothen's reaction. "Neothen, I do not understand why you are displeased!" Alya said to him quickly, taking up a felled tree trunk and beginning to fell another tree with her sword. "We have no choice but to escape down the river from the orcs. And I have a feeling that this water creature will not hurt us but protect us. Do not worry! The water will be safe! And if we stay here we will die, for we do not have sufficient numbers to ward off the orcs. I hope that you will stay with us for we need your help."

Alya then whispered to Oren in her mind, "Do not be troubled! Neothen will take the path he wishes to choose -- we cannot make that decision for him."

[Oren]

"I am not worried about that, but I don't think that he is very pleased with us, and he will be with us long...."

[Nenya Evenstar]

"Well, that is his decision! If he decides that then he will not get my sympathy. To leave his friends alone and desert them is nothing that I will respect." Alya thought to Oren.

[Neothen]

"The orcs are fast on our heels and we barely have time....... I can think of only one salution. I will meet the orcs head on and try to stop them while you make the raft. I have nothing to lose if I die then at least it would give you enough time to escape." *Neothen took his robe off reveiling his cotten vestment.* "Take my robes, if i don't return then cast them into the river."

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya shook her head. This was madness! "Neothen, look!" she said desperately, "There is no need for you to die! No one has to die! The raft will be completed before the orcs even reach here. There will be no need for you to give yourself up. Look," Alya said gesturing towards the felled tree trunks, "the raft will be completed soon. The water will protect us, I know it will!" She hoped that Neothen would harken to her counsel. "Come, we will be sailing down the river soon. Please, you must come with us!" Her voice was filled with pleading.

[Neothen]

"I will not die most likely they will take me captive. Do not wait for me I will return as soon as possible." *Neothen had made up his mind but still he did not want to cause mourning.* "Don't worry I don't die that easily." *Neothen ran into the woods and called for Laviathin at the same time. When he reached the orcs Laviathin landed behind Neothen frightening the orcs. Neothen drew his sword and charged into the orcs with his dragon by his side.*

[Phenix]

Phenix had followed the current seweral miles befor he were washed up on a shore near an old castle ruin. first he couldn't remember whad had happend but slowly the memories came back. when he remembered teh orcs he qikly loked around bu found nothing but a few birds on the other side of the river.

" well this is just great" he said to himslef adn began to walk up the river. as he walked he cheecked if he had any weapons left adn found to his surprise a small bottle of blue self glowing water. he tryed to remember how he gt it and what it was but al he could remember were a big water creature...

[Oren]

*Oren wandered ahead while the others were finishing up the raft. She was trying to find Phenix. Then she saw him, walking up the shore line. She gently called to him, not sure if he would be able to hear her* Phenix?...Are you alright?...Phenix, wait here, the others are comming!

[Nenya Evenstar]

The raft was completed and the company shoved it into the river. Then, with a look of worry and hope towards the fleeing Neothen, they got onto the raft and floated down stream, trusting in the myserious water creature.

[Neothen]

*Neothen saw the others get onto the raft but right then he was grabed by an orc and his hands were bound by ropes. Neothen tried to burn through them but the ropes were charmed. He yelled to Laviathin to watch the company until he got back. Then a club came down and knocked him out. When Neothen woke up he was againts a tree with orcs all around.*

[sauronbill]

"We will burn you alive, friend of the elves!!''said the orcs with a voice. They started to collect dry wood and preparing the torchs when a voice stopped them. The shaman had heard the screaming during the fight and he had came the as soon as he could.
"What happened to the company?", he said after he ordered the orcs not to burn Neothen.
"We lost them captain", said one of the orcs putting out a torch. "We were surprise by this man and his dragon, and we didn't pay attention to them..."
"Fools,"said the shaman with a dissappointed voice,"that was the trick. Doesn't matter. On the way here we didn't saw them so the only way they could have scaped so fast is if they went down the river."
"Then they're dead already,"said one of the orcs that was attacked by the water elemental,"the creature from the water won't let them pass."
"Only when i see their bodies with my own eyes i'll be sure,"said the shaman giving an angry look to the orc that had spoken."The river ends in a mountain and i know a short cut that will save us a lot of hours and walking. Once they get to the end of the river we'll be there to receive them......"The shaman looked at Neothen with an irony look."Don't believe for a momment that i have safe your life human, i feel that you hold great power and knowledge. You will serve my master well. Bring him along, he will be a gift to my master. Guard him well and give him this tonic,"said the shaman giving one violet drink to one of his guards. They made Neothen drink it."That should weak him out for a day or two at least",said the shaman." Now let's get movin....."

The company floated down the stream trusting that no orcs or water creature pick on them. But after a few minutes of floating the raft was suddenly stopped by a force stronger than the current of the river. Five water elementals appeared suddenlly and they surrounded the draft. All of them as tall as the one that Phenix encountered."What is the reason that brings humans and elves to travel by this forbid river?,asked one of the water elementals.......

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya looked at her companions and whispered to the waters, trying hard to not let her fear show, "We are running from orcs, oh great waters," she began, "and this is the only way out that we could think of to escape them. We saw that our friend was treated with kindness and hoped that we would be accepted with the same grace."

Suddenly a great spray of water lunged at them and engulfed them in its arms. Then, all was quiet, and the water took the company down the stream gently. Staring around with amazement, the company wondered what had happened. Had the water had accepted them? Instead of being wild and contrary, the river was now peaceful and calm as though some hand of guidance had been laid upon it to keep those who traveled on its path from harm. What gift of grace had been given or offered for them, Alya could not understand. Why the river chose to protect instead of destroy was beyond her knowledge or discernment. What was clear, however, was that the company was safe, for the moment. However, instead of happiness a sense of grief hung over the company like an unwelcome shadow. They had all seen Neothen's fate, and they all grieved each in his or her own way for the man who had seemingly sacrificed himself for no reason. But though she was troubled, Alya also felt a shred of hope, a tiny ray that broke through her dark thoughts. Neothen knew what he was doing! He had to have known! Only someone given over to pure madness would have done what he had done, and Neothen was not one to commit such a folly. Perhaps his purpose was not yet revealed, but Alya knew that with time would come the answers to his action.

At that moment, the river deposited the makeshift raft in the sands of a small beach as though saying that their time on the river was over. Alya thought that they had better leave the river now or risk its wrath should they be on it unwanted. A small smile lit her face as she glimpsed the shore, for she and the greater part of her companions had escaped the orcs, and she knew with certainty that they were safe from that danger at least for now. She waited for her companions to leave the raft, and then she turned towards the river and offered it a whispered thanks. It seemed that in the middle of the waters a small whirlpool welled up for an instant and then was calm. Had it been the river's way of answering? Alya stood staring into the river, deep in thought.

"Look! It's Phenix!" A voice broke through Alya's thoughts and brought her back to the present. Phenix? What glorious news was this? It seemed that the river had done more than its fair share! It had even dropped them off at the same place it had taken Phenix!

[Oren]

*Oren is extremly happy to see that most of the compan had made it find Phenix. She was very discourged when she did not see Neothen. She quickly went to Ayla*
"Where is Neothen? Is he ok?"

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya slowly shook her head. "I do not know, Oren," she said quietly. "Neothen left us to distract the orcs so that we could escape... I cannot imagine why he did not just get on the raft with the rest of us. However, I feel that his deed may not have been rash, for Neothen seems too wise to give away his life in folly. I believe he must have had a reason for leaving in such a way. However, at the moment he is a captive of orcs." Alya could tell that Oren was trying to process it all. "I do not know what to do now," Alya confided in the spirit, "should we search for Neothen or should we continue on our way and trust to fate to save our friend?"

[Neothen]

*Neothen somoned whatever strength he had left to send a telepathic message.* "Ankinseth, if you want to make yourself usefull then I have a little job for you. Follow my life force and bring Molfred with you. I want you to apear in two days." *Neothen passed out after that.*

[sauronbill]

When the orcs got to the small beach there was no company to surprise."How did they got away?"asked the shaman out loud, and pretty angry. He looked to the river, and somehow deep inside he knew it was responsible for this. "The waters helped them" said the shaman.
"What?",asked one of the commanders
"My father told me a story once. It said that these waters had something magical in them, that some kind of magic made the waters defend themselves, and even talk. He beleived that were some ancient powerfull elves the ones that made this magic before we got here. He also said that these waters were the guardians of the river and that nobody could cross the river without their acceptance. I never believed in that stupid story, but i guess in the end the old creep was right,"the shaman sighted.
"What do we do now, captain?,asked one of the commanders "We have orders of destroy this company, and they have flew from our hands twice. And what are we suppose to do with the prisioner? Carrying him all the way?
"Why don't you have an idea for a change",said the shaman. His anger had returned,"am i suppose to be the one to always have an idea. That's why you'll always be a commander!"The shaman thought for a few minutes, and then he got a divine revelation. He laughed at himself for not to think of this before. He looked to the commander.
"Bring me the pet of that stupid elf that we killed before we started chasing the company."
"Bring it now!!''ordered the commander to the orcs and a momment later the captain had a golden cage in his hands. Inside there was a red bird, almost as big as a hawk. The shaman gave some corn to the phoenix(for that"s what it was of course), and asked him to find the company. Then he opened the cage and the phoenix flew to the sky in search for the company. His feathers shined like living flame. The captain turned around to the commander.
"Take fifteen riders and take the prisioner to the mountain where my master is hidden. You know the shortcut so you'll be there at least a week before the company arrive. We'll try to get them sooner. If you fail me for any reason, i'll have your head..." The commander saluted martially at his captain and then he took off with Neothen. The shaman turned to his small army.
"All right people listen up, because of the magic of the red bird we'll know where the company is or will be, for his eyes are my eyes now. We'll probably give with them by ten ocklock tomorrow. Now we have 60 good standing orcs, and twenty riders(without the ones that took off), and i think that is more than enough to take a couple of little stinky elves. Am i right?
"Yeah!!"answered all the orcs with a voice and raising their weapons.
"All right,"said the shaman" now that we got that clear,"he took out his huge scimitar,"Let's hunt some elves for breakfast!!!"
"Yeah! We'll cook them all!!!" screamed the orcs at the time they run down the clif following their captain toward the way the company took....

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya gathered her companions around her. It was night and a fire burned in the middle of the huddled company, lending them light in an utterly cheerless night. "My friends," Alya began, her voice filled with conviction, "we must move on to the next stage of our journey. Our goal in the beginning was to find and destroy this evil king who has ravaged the lands with his orcs, but we have drifted from this path. Now is the time for us to turn back and realize our vision once more. It is time for us to avenge and rid this world of a great evil." Alya looked into her friends' eyes, her own eyes gleeming in the firelight. "Come we need to take counsel together. What shall our next path be? Where shall we trod?"

[Neothen]

*Neothen felt himself being draged on the ground. He felt a dark and power esence ahead. He thought to himself a demon but it was something stronger. Neothen reached into his mind again.* "Ankinseth don't forget to bring Canan, I can feel a demonic presence ahead."

[Phenix]

" we can't leve neothen in the hands of the orcs, but we can't lose time by going aftert him either." Phenix said " I have an idea... we could splitt into two groups so one can go after neothen and one go after the orc leader. what do you say?...i know it's riscy but it's the only option we have, i think" Phenix sat down to see waht teh others thought of his idea

[Oren]

*Oren thought a while about what Phenix said. Then she replied.*
"I think it is a good idea, but we are going to need as many people as we can get for the fight against the orc king."
*She asked Ayla to tell them that and she waited for the others replies*

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya relayed Oren's message to her companions. "I," she then continued, "would like to add something that you all can think over. Remember that Neothen is a wizard. He is more than capable of taking care of himself. I do not know what a few of us could do to help him other than get caught ourselves. It is my fear that if we send any more to search for Neothen that they will die -- the orcs are only out there to kill us." She was silent. A quiet somberness settled on the company, and no one said anything for one long moment.

[Phenix]

"you're probobly right, but still it would feel wrong to leave him" Phenix said " but if you think that we should continue we'll do so"

[sauronbill]

The company continued talking and thinking of what they should do. They didn't noticed a red bird was watching them from a tree not far from where Phenix was sit.Watching them from the darkness. The bird made somekind of strange howl that was lost in the night and then in the distance another howl responded....

[Nenya Evenstar]

"I agree," Alya said quietly, "it would feel wrong to leave him. However, I feel that we are caught in a tight position. I do not like these woods and I think the longer we stay in them, the more likely we are to become mincemeat." She grimaced. "I don't like the sound of that at all!" Alya concentrated on speaking to Oren for a moment. She asked her if she knew anything of Neothen's movements. When Alya finished, she awaited an answer that she knew would come.

[Neothen]

Neothen had regained his strength but the cords binding his hands and feet were to strong even for his magic. He was draged along the ground and as he did he thought about his companions. He thought they would be in trouble from orc or some other danger. So Neothen reached into his thoughts and told Leviathan to watch over his friends. A roar was heard up in the sky and Neothen made a little smile on his face as he felt the presence of another person near by. But the presence was weak and it belonged to only one person instead of the three he had called for.

[Phenix]

Phenix heard a strange sound and left the company, he climbed a nearby hill and looked around. as he turned south he saw a large cloud of dust far away and a bit closer, two men on horses, on the clothes they seemed to belong to the army of rohan. Phenix walked closer

" halt friends" he said" waht brings you to this godforsakend(sp?) place?"

" I could ask teh same to you elf" one of the men said " but as you asked first I will answer. we have come to rip out the orcs that livs here and capture their leader, with us we have the remaining forces of gondor and teh entire army of rohan. also teh dwarfs have sent us aid in this masiv jurney."

" are not the elves with you" Phenix said " I had expected them to be in the first line if some on desided to launch an atack on the orcs, seeing that they were the first one to care about him."

" don't you know?!" the other man said " the forces of rivendell marched agains the orcs a week ago. almost every one died just 2 day jurneys south of us"

"no, indeed this is terrible news" Phenix said" I and a few companions are out on a misson to assassinate the orcs leader, but for the moment we seems to be lost. maybe we could join you and wait for the army I would love to talk wiht your comander"

" if you wish" teh first man said.

" then lets go get them" Phenix said and turned around and walked down the hill

[Oren]

-Oren replied to Ayla-
"I have a feeling that Neothen will be ok. He seems to have called a few of his friends. Also, he's got that dragon to guard his back. Those orcs don't stand a chance."
-Then she turned to see an army of Rohan walking twords them. She then saw Phenix leading them to the company-
"Well, looks like Phenix has gotten us into something big this time..."
-She said to Ayla, who also turned to see the army-

[Phenix]

Phenix left the army a few hundread yards from Ayla adn rode over to her followed by three men, the two who he had found on the hill top and the comander of the army.

" ayla, look what I got, it's teh combined forces of rohan, gondor and even teh dwarfs. perhaps now we can both help neothen and go after the orcs leader"

" it is as he say my lady" raol, on of the men said" the orcs is just a day jurney a head of of"

[Nenya Evenstar]

Alya laughed out loud, her heart suddenly relieved. Neothen would be fine after all! "Come then!" she said to Raol. "Lead us to where we can find these orcs and rescue Neothen!" Raol nodded, and the group headed off.

While they were walking, Alya spoke quietly with Raol. "Do you know if this Orc Leader we are seeking has already been killed? Or is he still to be found?"

[Phenix]

" what?, oh no....that was why the elves left rivendell. aparantly they had sent someone to assassinate him but they belived him to be dead so they mobilised their entire army to finish the jobb. unfortinatly they newer reached his castle. that's why we are here, well exept from the fact that we wants to kill some orcs" Raol answerd Ayla whit a great smile.

meanwille, Phenix had been talking to the comander and tried to lisen to raol at teh same time, but as raol came to the part of why teh elves left rivendell he stoped listning to both the comander and raol. instead he feelt great sadness as he fellt that the elves had died becouse of him.


"i swear, I will kill him whit my own bare hand if I have to" he mumbled to him self

" what?" teh comander said

" oh nothing, nothing at all phenix replyed

[Neothen]

While Neothen was being draged on the ground he tried to think of the orc king. He sounded so familiar but he couldn't think of who it was. Suddenly he remembered, "Alberich, no not Alberich." The thought raced through Neothen's mind it angered him that he could be taken to the person he most despized.

[Nenya Evenstar]

The troups finally departed. Alya, Phenix, and those with them rode along with the group. Oren's never-fading presence was there as well. On towards the nearing Orcs the company road, over fen and dale, until at last the dust trail of the Orc's could be seen in the distance.

[Oren]

*Oren's heart was heavy. She could feel Phenix's sadness. She could feel that everyone was just trudging on, no real expression on their faces. She followed them, slowly.*

[Nenya Evenstar]

The troups of Rohan, Gondor, and the Dwarves could be seen ahead. Alya's heart leaped inside for she knew that she could now ride as a Rider of Rohan. She could barely stop herself from running up the last hill. Then she ran. There before her was her brother, Aleothen! The two embraced and laughed together through their tears. Their's had been a long parting. Very soon the army was moving on towards some goal which drew ever closer. What the goal was, no one knew. Near the head rode Alya, garbed as her fellow-Rohirrim with the joy and light of battle in her eyes.

OOC: Just wanted to say that Alberich is a guy, an evil sorcerer capable of many things.

Neothen looked forward only to see a great fortress. They brought him inside and threw him to the floor. Infront of Neothen stood a powerful sorcerer named Alberich. "So you made a name for yourself by leaving Molkavitch and trying to make an empire of your own." Neothen said looking at eh sorcerer with a smug frown.
"Molkavitch allowed me to have my own army and empire. My old friend Neothen captured by his old compamion. I would have expected more from a wizard like you."
"Why do you think i was captured so easily, I wasn't mad, your the one that is mad. The shaman that captured me knows nothing of your plans or even your masters. You know that I defeated Molkavitch once almost killing him, and I'm sure the thought races through your mind." Alberich looked at Neothen with a look of hatred as Neothen taunted him.

[Nenya Evenstar]

For an entire day the group of troups traveled on, and then on into the next day. Now, it was night. The chilly, cold air brushed past the cheeks of the sleeping soldiers and travelers as they tried to get a wink of sleep before the next long day of travel. A fire burned low in the middle of the camp giving off no heat and barely any light.

"Attack!" The cry rang out through the quiet night like a knife. Two of the posted guards came running towards the camp. One of them fell dead on his way there, an arrow peircing through his back. "Awake! We are under attack! Orcs surround us! We have been ambushed!" The frenzied soldier's words awoke the entire group, and everyone rushed to their weapons. Before long all were prepared. Arrows whistled down from hights in the north, and shrill orc cries could be heard all around. The ambush had commenced.

[Neothen]

In the midst of the attack the one that had come for Neothen hid in the trees. Seeing the battle Goliath sprang out releasing his ogre upon the orcs. Goliath was 10 foot very muscular golem who also owned a griffin which circled over head. Goliath took out his metal tiped whip and slashed at the orcs cutting into their armor. The ogre with its giant axe cut two to three orcs at a time.

[Oren]

-Oren was restless. She couldn't sleep at all. When she heard the men comming down from their posts, she hovered over the soldiers. She watched them fight, doing the best she could. Then, a large bear came bounding out of the woods. She looked down and saw that it was her father! He had heard about the battle, and he had come to help them. He ran at the orcs, tearing apart their bodies. Oren had a new hope now. She used all her power to blow away the orcs, keeping her friends safe.-
