NO! I forgot to post a poll. Maybe if a nice mod would visit they could make a poll. But until then act like its a poll. Say "I voted for 10-12 times." The options are:

10-12, 13-15, 16-18, 18+, Under 10 *you might aswell get the bloody 'ell out of the forum ;) *

Hate to bust your bubble, but if the movie is bad I won't see it more then once or twice. In fact, it will have to really impress me to get me to see it more then 3 or 4 times. Fellowship was the type of movie that I knew just doesn't come around very often. You don't see movies like it in the theatre. I wanted to see it more then once. I'm not going to make up any opinions regarding TTT before it comes out. Quite frankly, it will have to exceed Fellowship for me to see it 4-5 times or more. I am a sucker for seeing movies I love more then once, but to see them more then once in the theatre they have to really make me want to go see them. With Fellowship there were times that I was just waiting for the weekend to come around so that I could go see it again. It wasn't as if I felt I had to see it.

Yeah, I agree. I only saw FOTR a few times at the cinema, but when I got it home, I was watching it loads...s'pose its because it's cheaper...I'm in a constant state of having no money:(

I saw FOTR 2 times in the theatres, and about 5-6 times at home.
I will do the same with TTT,I definitely do not intend to throw all my money away to see ANY movie more than 10 times...sorry.

Probably once....like I saw FoTR. If PJ butchers it like he did FoTR, I will not waste my money in a movie theatre to see it. I may buy the DVD like I will the FoTR extended one in November...In that case, it will be twice. :)

It's cheaper to rent if you are only going to see the DVD once ;).

And please don't give me that "I won't see it in the theatre" BS. Hey, it's your choice, but I think it's silly to say you won't see it once in the theatre. I saw Episode II once in the theatre (hopefully my last time) even though Episode I dissapointed me horribly. I will see Episode III as well, even though it will probably suck. But as a fan of the old trilogy I am giving the movie at least one viewing. As Tolkien fan I'd think you could spend $5-6 on a matinae showing, at the very least. These movies don't make thier money off of people watching them once and passing on the bad word. They make money because people enjoy them and watch them over and over, tell thier friends about them, etc. If it is really that important to you, rest assured you won't be supporting PJ too heavily.

I watched LotR once at the cinema, then about half a dozen times on video when I borrowed it for a fortnight from the library. I don't intend to watch it again until the November DVD comes out with all the extra bits.

I expect to follow the same pattern for TTT. After all, the books are so much better; the film's inevitably shallower treatment of the story makes it much less repeatable.

Whoa now. I guess I didn't make myself clear...I meant "I won't see it MORE than once in the theatre"...You have to see a movie like this in the theatre, no doubt about it! I just doubt I will be going back three or four times like some folks here...And I do plan on watching the DVD more than once I'm sure....

I also saw LotR twice in theatres, and now 7 times here at home. LotR was the best movie I have ever seen, and even if TTT is half as good, I'm gonna see it at least 2 times in theatres. AT LEAST! Of course on DVD, once a week should do.;)

I will probably see it 4 or 5 times depending on how much I like it and how many different friends I see it with. Then when it comes out on DVD well the sky is the limit.

Well, I saw FOTR in the theaters 4 times and I have seen it at home another 8 times, for a total of somewhere around 12 times. I am sure that i will see TT at least that many times, and I am bound to see tFOTR many more times.

I held off from buying the theatrical version for the extended DVD release in November. I plan on buying it the day it comes out. :)

That was originally my plan as well, but my dad said "COSTCO" and went and got the first one the day it came out. My sisters are giving me the SE DVD for a graduation present. Such fun!

I'm not sure how many times I'll see The Two Towers in theaters. I only saw the Fellowship of the Ring twice but the first time I saw it was in February or March. I'll probably see The Two Towers at least two times. If I can, I'll probably see it more than that.

I will most likely not make it to the show on the opening day. But I am gonna be going on the Friday after though. My brother and his wife are taking me to see two movies, both of which i am very excited to go and see.

I have watched FotR 3 times in the cinemas and 4..5?? times on my computer DVD..
WoW.. it's a great movie..
I actually like it more after reading the books (which I bought after watching the 1st movie)..
I have read the books (TTT and RotK).. already 3-4 times.. in the past months.. which makes me dying to watch TTT.. :p

I also believe that TTT will be great.. because the 3 movies are shot together.. unlike past 'Set's of movies which are shot seperately.
The flow will definately be there.. a good thing..

Moreover.. TTT promises to be more action packed..

juz cant wait..

I saw FOTR 4 times at the cinema last christmas. I went the day it opened and 3 other times whilst i was on my xmas holidays. I think it is a truely amazing piece of cinema and when all three films are finished i think, and firmly believe that they will be three of the best films ever made. I will be going to watch TTT the day it is realeased and 3 other times just like i did with the first film. I have seen the FOTR over 60 times (Theatrical version) and the EE 3 times up to now. So it goes without saying TTT will get the same kind of attention as FOTR, i will go the theatre and see it 4 times and watch the copy i get as many times as i can before it comes out on DVD next year.I will buy the theatrical version on DVD and then the Extended Edition later on just like i did this year with FOTR. When the " Return of the King " comes out it will recieve the same treatment.

I'll see it once... then if its good then I'll see it again... and again... and again... and so on.
Not to count the time I see it on DVD.

I am going to be watching it on opening day with about 50 of my friends including a buddy of mine who is coming to visit me from Idaho. I had two other friends who wanted to come out but then you have to factor in those lovely little things called semester exams.

I will see it once on opening day. Probably at least once with my relatives in MO cause we are going there for Christmas. Once when I get back because I have a free ticket and probably again with my friend Meg because she isn't going to be able to make it on opening day. :( So I will most likely see it at least 3 or 4 times in the theatres and then, well I can watch it tons of times when it comes out on DVD.
