A solitary dark figure paced in the shadows that filled the highest room in the tower. Long had he been in contemplation of his revenge, and now his dark plans were about to be set in motion. Had anyone been able to see his expression at that precise moment, they would have recoiled in terror. His eyes burned with a fanatical light and he laughed aloud, a chilling sound at best.
Through many messengers, both orc and otherwise, he reconvened a select handful of his Lord Sauron's minions for a specific task. To unleash an ancient evil on Middle Earth, a land grown fat and complacent under the rule of Elessar. He snarled as the hated face of his Lord's enemy sprang into his mind, etched there for all time.
He smiled cruelly. "Ah, Elessar! Where is your tame wizard now, upstart? Where now are the elves that gave you first succour and then abandoned you at the Havens?"
Soon would come a time of reckoning for both Elessar and his toady Faramir. Soone they would be forced to acknowledge HIM as their uncontested Lord, master of the remnants of evil.
A small, hunched over Orc stood outside the room, waiting for the rest of their party to arrive.

The form of a thickly cloaked and hooded figure swiftly and silently approaches the stooping Orc. His hood drawn over his face so it could not be seen. Silently he walks, not a sound was heard in the vast coridor as he moved along the Hall toward the Orc. His stomach churned and reeled. He must find nourishment and find it soon. His head spun and his mouth watered with the thought of a warm meal. When he finially reached the Orc he stood tall and regal before him and removed his hood. His pale death like face reflected little in the moonlight, but in his eyes could be seen the knowledge of tens of thousands of murders and lost lives, Lives taken in the line of duty and in hunger. In a silent whisper of a voice like the blowing of a cool autumn wind he says to the Orc, "More are comming" That is all he says then he pulls his hood back up and vanishes into the night to find a meal.

A tall man in a black cloak approtices the orc. "I have come to serve m'lord once again, but at the moment, my dinner must be caught." The man grins hungrily. "For now I shall leave, but I, Mittero, shall return in an hour or two. At such time I'll wish to speak to m'lord at once." With that the vampire stacked out of the tower and into the night.

A large black wolf entered the hall and walked slowly up to the orc. When he reached him, he sifted sudenly into tall and hansom man, dressed and cloaked in black, pulling off his hood he looked down at the orc, "I have come to serve the new Master of Darkness, does he wait for me within?" he ask, pointing at door.

Known as the Mouth of Sauron, the man who would now reign as the Dark Lord sat in the stillness of the night, awaiting the messenger that would deliver his summons.
Scuttling into his presence, Bugburz grovelled at his feet. "Lord? You called me?" Glaring down at the pitiful creature, he bade him rise and approach his throne-like seat. Leaning close to the orc, too close for Bugburz' liking, he spoke to him in a pleasant, insinuating voice. "Listen well and you shall be rewarded for your service. There are certain followers of my Lord Sauron that I wish you to bring into my presence. Each of them have certain skills that will be needed to accomplish my will in the days to come." The orc's ears had perked up at the mention of a reward and he leaned closer so as not to forget anything.
"Thallius and Miterro, two vampires that dwelt in Barad-dur, Serewing a Corsair of Umbar, there is also Hamann, a thief from Gondor that accompanies Serewing who might prove useful. Sauron's favourite, Ungo will also need to be included in this venture." He gestured expansively. "Now, as to your reward...you may also join us in my enterprise, after all, who better to assist me than one of the most stealthy of trackers? Think not that anything the others might do or say will go without notice, therefore I need someone loyal, someone who can be trusted to bear me news of any...indiscretions. Do I make myself clear?" He reached into a small chest at his right hand and drew out a jeweled dagger. He held it up, that the orc might see it's quality. Bugburznearly snatched it from the Mouth of Sauron's hand, then he remembered himself. Bowing low, he waited until the dagger was placed on the floor at the Lord's feet, then made a grab for it. Quicker than thought, his arm was seized in a steely grip and he jerked his head to look into the dark void that concealed the Mouth of Sauron's face. "You are bought with a price, remember who it is that has bought you."
He released the orc, who ran from the room without a backward glance. He smiled, relaxing once again in the darkness.

The vampire Mittero, having found nothing to dine upon, returned to the keep of the Mouth of Sauron. Mounting the steps, he nearly was run down by Bugdurz. "Ah, Mittero. The Dark Lord bids you come to a meeting with him. A quest is being forged in the Dark Lord's name." Mittero grin, a clean cut, swave gesture. "Very well. I will bring my presence once again into m'lord's chambers." Glancing down at the orc with its prideful gaze from being so highly thought of by the Dark Lord, Mittero leaned close and muttered. "Just remember Orc." He hissed, letting his vampiric voice slide through. "It was I whom our Lord trusted enough to be his own personal body guard. I'll not give up that possition to an orc." Mittero sneered and stode past the scared orc to his lord's chambers.

Serewing strode into the great-hall, a disdainful smile playing across his handsome face. The Corsair had no liking for the troops of Mordor, good fighters when they had the strong law set upon them, but otherwise they were fickle and prone to clannish squabbles. He had seen many a raid falter, and many a prize lost as the orcs of Mordor bickered amongst themselves, venting their malice upon each other as their pray slipped gratefully through their fingers. Yet he had high hopes of this new leader, a Númenorean from the ancient land if the tales were to be believed. Serewing looked forward to meeting him - a mortal man who had cheated death, lived through many long ages; and though time had ravaged his mortal body, still he stood defiant. The tide was turning, Serewing could feel it.

And as the Remnants of Evil came in and out of the dark tower, in that cold night, a falcon was flying over the lands of Mordor. The white falcon, named Elgòfir, which belonged to Rasec, the Fabulous, perceiving the movement in the tower, decided to fly around in order to find out what was really happening. Elgòfir had a special night vision, which allowed him to see Orcs and Vampires coming in and out of the tower. He had no doubt they were gathering and planning something cruel against Middle-Earth. During all that night, Elgòfir flew for miles, using up all his forces, to arrive to his Master, Rasec Geäthryn, and tell the news. When the devastating light of the dawn appeared over the terrible Mountains of Mordor, Elgòfir viewed his Master riding his white horse through Minas Tirith.

Thallius strode purposefully through the keep, its rich tapisteries and wall hangings held no interest for him. He had feasted well & was now in the right frame of mind and attitude to approach the Dark Lord. His missions durring the war were all completed victoriously. But that did not change the outcome. He shuddered, thinking of what his master may say or do to him when he reached his chambers for audience. In his pale hands he held 2 rings, a braid of red hair and a broach. All of them were proof that his assinations had gone well. Why the Dark Lord whished such trinkets from the victims Thallius did not know or even care. He climbed the stairs toward the Mouth Of Saurons main throne room. At the top of the stairs he stood before the great doors, he streightened his cloak, removed his hood and put all the "trinkets" into a dark purple velvet pouch. He hoped his efforts would be rewarded. Thallius stood for a moment wondering why he was summoned in such haste, the message came urgently upon a swift horse, its rider, surprisingly a Man. Thallius remembered the look on the messengers face as he took the parchment from him, then after reading it quickly in a blink of an eye he sunk his teeth into the poor souls neck and drained him till he was a fraction away from death, then without thought, as he had done ten thousand times before he slit the Man's throat, and watched as the last bit of blood, now cold pump out of his exposed jugular vein. Thallius watched as the light of life left the Mans eyes then simply took the reigns of the messengers horse and jumped up onto his own and headed back to his masters side. Thallius reached for the doors handle and pulled the great door open. There raised up on a daise was the Mouth of Sauron, seated in a place of command. Arogantly Thallius strode into the chaber, swiftly he crossed the distance from the door to the throne, bumping into and past the MoS's main bodyguard without care. He stopped a few feet in front of the throne and took to his knee, bowing his head. when the MoS signaled him to aproach he did so. Thallius produced the small pouch of "proof" and handed it to his Lord. "My Lord, My missions are complete, what is your will for me now master" he said in a barely audible voice...

The Mouth of Sauron looked with disdain on Mittero when Thallius pushed his way around the vampire to kneel at his feet. "Perhaps Mittero's position needs some new blood." He chuckled at his own humour. Taking the proffered pouch, he glanced at the contents and bade him rise. "Well done! Both of you, listen carefully. It is my intention that the two of you, along with Ungo, shall be leaders in my plan to de-throne Elessar and to crush his trusted allies into the bargain. I grow impatient with waiting. Within the next few hours, my plans will be laid out and each of you shall know what is required. The three of you have proven yourselves, both to Sauron and to myself, I deem it only fitting that my three worthiest allies should be chosen to assist my efforts in destroying everything Elessar stands for!"

Hamann walked through the tower, wondering who and what he would find. He wasn't sure of what was awiting him, but he knew that the Mouth of Sauron would never get involved with small and insignificant business, neither would he give away small and insignificant rewards to those who were faithfull and loyal. Of course, Hamann was faithfull an loyal to none but himself, but he imagined he had more than what it would take to go pretend to be faithfull to others.
And so Hamann walked through the tower, ever going upwards and searching for where he would meet with the others.

Elgòfir, the Falcon, approaches his master while he is riding his white horse, Gwyndòfir. The cold air from the morning passes through Rasec's face and he feels comfortable at all. He sees then his falcon and call for him.
- Oh, Elgòfir! My faithful white falcon! Have you come to bring me news? I can see it in your face that you know something. Come to me, Elgòfir!
Rasec stopped his wonderful horse. The falcon flew down to the ground and landed. It gently looked to Rasec with its grey deep eyes. The Elf-Human put his right arm straight in the direction of the falcon and said:
- Now speak to me. Tell me all you know, great falcon!
After these words, Rasec closed his eyes and they talked mentally for a while, and Elgòfir told him what it had seen the night before. When they finished talking, Rasec thanked Elgòfir and sent it freely to the air, asking it to bring more news if he could get some. Then he started riding again, faster this time, and the Sun shone brightly, making his long brown-gold hair shine with the light.

Mittero grins slightly. "I hardly see it fit to protect you from you own assasin, m'lord." Mittero turns to Thallius. "But just you remember that, though we both are vampires and in the servius of our Lord, I am the stronger of the two of us." No threat is in Mittero's silky voice. Merely a reminder and a smirk. "Shall I let the others in, m'lord, or do you wish to meet with them after you unfold your plan?"

Still in Minas Tirith, Rasec went to the City in order to meet some friends of him; friends of long date, the ones he truted the most in. Between them, were Phenix, the Elf, and Oren, the Lady. Arriving at the City, he went to the tavern where Phenix and Oren always were in. He found them there and went to speak to both of them. As he imagined, there were some more people around them, but he called them apart, and said:
- I greet you, my friends! I come to tell you bad news and to invite you to follow me.
- What has happened, Rasec, the Fabulous? - asked Phenix, looking worried. - I much desire to follow you, but tell us what is going on.
- My falcon came to me this morning. It told me that there was a great movement in the tower of the Mouth of Sauron yesterday night. He told me of a possible revenge against our lands. We must not waste more time. I will travel through Gondor and pick up as many warriors as I can. I will live immediately, and I tell you: I will ride as fast as the wind, and so you will need great horses. Will you two follow me?

Thallius laughed inwardly at Mittero's blunder, "He may be a powerfull vampire" Thallius thought. "But what he gains in brute strength he lacks in ettiquete and class." As Mittero left the chamber, driven out by his shame and naivete Thallius made a mentle note of this exchange, there was sure to be more conflicts and aggression between the two vampires before this quest has ended. He bowed deeply to his Lord, locking eyes with the great leader, in an instant their thoughs mingles and Thallius saw how ammusing this was to their Lord to see the two vying for his favour.

Serewing stood silently, drumming his fingers softly upon the worn hilt of his longsword. So they were to be given an audience with this new Dark-lord... an honour indeed! The Corsair chuckled to himself as he watched a host of drawn nervous faces scurrying about the tower. This new Dark-lord must be as hard to please as his predecessor. That at least was a comfort... nothing worse than an uruk running wild without somebody to crack the whip at his back. Stifling a yawn, Serewing glanced about the chamber, it looked like things were about to get started. He could smell the intrigue in the air.

Signalling to Thallius to open the door, the new Lord of Mordor crossed to a table near the window upon which was spread an enormous map of Middle Earth. A creature stirred in the shadows of the far corner of the room and he glanced its way, causing it cease its relentless pacing.
When Thallius opened the door, Bugburz toppled into the room face first. He bounded quickly to his feet and hurriedly pulled the others inside. The Men looked at him with distaste, especially the dapper Corsair who cursed him for daring to lay a hand on his finery.
Lifting an elegant hand in welcome, their Lord bade them join him around the table. As they crowded close, he began to tell them of his plan. "What you see before you should aid you in what I wish to have accomplished. The death of Elessar and the ruin of Faramir. They are the ones responsible for my humiliation and for that they will pay. We will go to the Misty Mountains and there obtain all the forces I will need in order to retake the Southern Kingdom and adjacent lands from among the hosts of orcs still dwelling in Moria and in the tunnels through-out the entire mountain chain."
"My first desire however, is to see to it that Faramir sleeps much less soundly than he does now. To that end, I will send Ungo and Thallius on ahead, there to slay certain of Faramir's council and close associates in such a manner as to bring back old fears, old horrors from Sauron's time. The rest of us will meet with them at the bridge below Caer Andros, there to follow the river north to the hated former realm of Lothlorien and thence to Moria's eastern gate." He paused, seeing in their eyes varying degrees of incredulity. "Ah, perhaps a small taste of what awaits, perhaps?" He turned, calling to the creature in the corner. "You there! Beast! Bring me that chest."
With a snarl there emerged into the light a sight that caused all of them to take a step back. An enormous Uruk-hai, naked to the waist, carried to the feet of the Mouth of Sauron a chest the size of a barrel. It stood there glaring at the newcomers with hatred in its eyes, unmoving as he opened the chest. There was a collective gasp. Gems, gold, riches beyond compare filled the chest to over-flowing. "You see? I can be most generous. To my friends. Any questions?"

He was more interested in the Uruk-hai, then anything else at the moment, but carefully kept that to himself, though he knew his Lord could see this in his thoughts. He bowed lowly, "I will, as always, serve you and your cause, m'lord."

The Mouth of Sauron smiled at Ungo's objection. "So it would seem, my old friend, yet I have much knowledge of Faramir and his people and it is he whom I wish to torment. His mind is sharp. It will take very little time for him to come to the conclusion that those who will die played a critical part in his campaign against Sauron, Damrod chief among them."
He had been pleased to see the reactions of the Men present, as he knew he would rely most heavily on them later on. "I have chosen the three of you for a reason." he said gazing at the vampires and Ungo, "These slayings will take place under cover of darkness and with a certain amount of...imagination it is to be hoped." His smile turned cruel and his eyes gleamed. "Go now, unless there are other objections. We will speak more of this on the morrow. "Lord, a wonderous plan you have devised, your will will be done, and done in exceeding abundance" Said Thallius quietly. His mind spinned and twisted with the toughts of feasting on the blood of nobel Men, espicially when tinged with fear and terrior. Phenix and Oren accepted the convocation of Rasec. They quickly chose the best horses in the City and within minutes, they were riding through Gondor. Fast were their horses and even faster if ridden by great riders. The morning was gone when they arrived in Lebennin. There some other Men joined the three, and now they were ten, although there was only one woman between them: Oren, the Lady. She was a very pretty and intelligent woman, and she would indeed be of use in their journey.
After an abundant meal in Lebennin, the knights rode to the left and arrived in Dol Amroth the next day. Rasec had plenty of friends there, but his closest one was called Anamatar, and he was indeed a noble and shrewd man. Gwyndòfir, Rasec's horse, was shining with a white splendor under the Sun of Middle-Earth when they arrived in the city of Dol Amroth. Tall and fair Men could be seen walking through its lands. Many curious eyes looked at the Men and Elves that were arriving. Rasec viewed Anamatar among the crowd and the man also saw him among the other knights. The Elf-Human led his fellows to where Anamatar was.
- It is such an honour to see you again, Anamatar, my friend!
- The honour is mine, Rasec - answered the man. - What brings you here, Elf-Human?
- We need your support - said Rasec. - Now, more than ever, I rely on you and on our friendship. We are ten already, as you can see. We need you and whoever you choose to come to Edoras. If you mean to join us, then come, and I will tell you what is happening during our journey. We do not have time to explain you now. It is your choice, my friend, and do not hesitate too much. Answer me, Anamatar, will you come and join us?

Anamatar stared into Rasecs eyes. "Of course I will join you. I will summon my steed!" Anamatar turned and ran to the stables where his horse stood. He mounted and rode back to Elf-human. "I shalt not bring any person from the city to Edoras. I do not know for what reason you summon me but I do not think the people of this city should know of it. At least while they can avoid knowing about it."

- It is your choice to bring someone or not - said then Rasec. - If you feel you do not have to bring anyone right now, that is fine for me. We may come back to Dol Amroth later, if we need more men. Let us go now, for we shall not waste our time!
The horses neighed strongly when the knights turned them to the north and started riding fast. Their destiny now was Drùwaith Iaur, where Rasec had one more important friend: Búrun. One more day was gone and they were in Pinnath Gelin, now riding to the north-west. The next day, the first difficulty appeared in front of them. The Ered Nimrais were a strong and high barrier, and they had to think how they would pass over it. Oren, the Lady, told the others her idea. She said that Rasec should choose one man to go with him to Drùwaith Iaur, while the others should ride to Edoras. Although, this idea was not accepted by none of them, for no one wanted to leave each other, and Rasec could never choose only one man. For him, Phenix, the Elf, and Anamatar were the noblest friends, but who then would guide the others? The only choice was to go ahead and experience the heavy snowy weather of the White Mountains.

He sat in the window after the other's had gone, one arm resting on an upraised knee. This particular window looked West and in his mind he flew beyond the confines of the mountains that encircled Mordor. Ithilien, Lothlorien, yea even Gondor would be his. All the beautiful lands so loved by the puling minions of Elessar would be his to rule, his to destroy if he so chose.
He looked at his fell companion, the Uruk his orcs had found. "Come! Tell me my gruesome friend. What you have your reward be for your part in my enterprise?" It stood to its full height and stared at its master. Intelligence gleams in the black recesses of it eyes and it snarled. "Freedom, Great One. Only that."
"Indeed? A noble reward. Will you prove worthy of such a gift, I wonder?" He rose and walked to a table on which sat a pitcher of wine and several goblets. "Go, fetch me the Corsair. I believe I have devised a use for him."

Nevertheless, the fellowship did not need to climb the mountain and be in danger for a long and hard time. High in the sky, Rasec viewed Elgòfir, the Falcon, approximating them in a high speed. Rasec's heart was now comforted, for Elgòfir was going to be essentially useful to them. The fellowship stopped, and watched Elgòfir landing. Then Rasec went to talk to his animal. For a little time, they talked mentally once again. From his pocket, the Elf-Human took an old parchment and a beautiful pen and wrote something quickly. He gave the parchment to the falcon and sent him away. Then he spoke to his companions and said:
- There is no need to go ahead anymore. Elgòfir will send a message to Búrun, and I am quite sure he will accept meeting us at Edoras. He knows this place better than anyone, so he probably has an unknown easy way to arrive to Edoras. He is a fast rider as well, so he will arrive in time for the council. Let us turn our horses in direction of Edoras, my fellows!
The weather was about to change. There would be a storm soon, predicted Rasec. But it would not affect the effort of the fellowship, and neither Búrun's.
The great white falcon arrived in Drùwaith Iaur in a few minutes. It landed and looked around to find Búrun. Then he viewed a man who fit with Rasec's description of the Man. He was alone in front of a tavern, and he seemed to be thinking deeply about something. Elgòfir came to him and gave him the parchment, shaking his beak to show it. The man hesitated, but took the parchment and read it. After reading, he looked up to the sky and the falcon was flying back from where it had come. He closed his eyes and thought for a moment, and then he folded the paper and went to summon his horse. In ten minutes, he had left Drùwaith Iaur, taking the path to Edoras.

Then Geäthryn stopped his horse and said in a loud voice to all his companions:
- We shall not fear the storm, companions! The wind is blowing the dark clouds to the ocean. And it is a powerful wind, blowing strongly to the west. Our path is to the east, so the storm will not annoy us for a long time. As we do not have a place where we can hide from the storm, we will ride fast and continue riding even if the storm begins. When we arrive in Edoras, there will certainly not be sark clouds anymore. And so we can rest upon the Sun.

Serewing was resting in the dark, dank chamber alotted to him by the steward of the tower. It was more like a cell than anything else, and the constant drip-drip of water was beginning to grate on his nerves. Ossë's beard! He was a Corsair of Umbar not some bow-legged uruk maggot... he deserved better lodgings than these.
So it was that when the messenger called on him, he found the Corsair in a less than amenable mood. Without so much as a by-your-leave his door was flung open to reveal a miserable sallow-skinned orc, a leering grin carved upon his twisted face. 'Oi! Corsair, the boss wants a word with you. Better get up there quick - he don't like being kept waiting...'
Serewing jumped to his feet and took a few steps towards the messenger. After eyeing the orc for a moment or two, he answered him in cold, haughty tones. 'Tell your master I shall be there presently - As for you, a lesson in manners would not go amiss, fortunately for you I have neither the time nor the energy to deliver it... now, get of my sight before I have a change of heart.'
With this the orc scurried off, muttering a string of curses under his fetid breath. The Corsair gathered up his gear and followed hard upon him, the stale smell of Uruk ever in the air.
So the Mouth of Sauron wished to see him? This could prove to be very interesting...

There was no more doubt the storm would be terrible. Riding through the lands of Gondor, the eleven companions looked at the sky and had an awful feeling. Nevertheless, Rasec did not seem to be worried. he knew that he and his fellows could ride fast and win the rain. Thunders and lightnings had already begun to spread in the sky. One hour later, the rain came. It was a heavy rain, and the horses were not happy to be running upon the water. But they were valiant enough to continue going fast.
When night came, the storm had calmed down. Now just a thin rain was falling from the dark-blue sky. Edoras was very close now. But they first would have to wade over the White Mountains, and Edoras would then appear.

Therefore, children, wives, then finally and lastly the men themselves, would seem our mission's best order of opperation."

Serewing was admitted into the dark Lord's presence and he watched as he was poured a goblet of wine. "Come, Corsair. I have in mind plans that I think will please your desire for riches and power." Beckoning him closer, they sat near the window facing on the West.
"I see in you the potential to become a great ally, to our mutual benefit, I deem." Sauron's former herald smiled to himself as he watched the light of greed kindle in Serewing's eyes. "Would it please you to rule in Ithilien? I would far rather have you as a neighbor than that lap-dog Elessar! It is a fertile land and Faramir's people have not been idle, neither have the Elves who have come to live there. There is much wealth and luxury to be found there." He leaned forward, intent on his purpose. "I want you to rule there in my name, as my vassal. What say you?"
The tall Uruk in the corner listened to all that was said and he held his peace. His Lord was extremely cruel, and it would not be to his benefit to betray the fact that he had been paying close attention...

The Corsair took the proffered cup, gazing absently into it as he listened to the Dark Lord's words; the wine was rich and red as blood, yet he had not the heart to drink it. He had expected more from the man sitting before him, a proud Númenórean he had once been, yet it seemed Sauron had corrupted him utterly. He was nothing now but a pale shadow of his former master's malice. Serewing lusted not for power, for wealth and riches: fleeting dreams set to snare the weak, nothing more.
He had dreamt of a rebirth, a new Golden Age for the Children of Númenor. Not the fool's gold of Elessar and his Elf-witch bride; but a return to the greatness of ages past. Was it not the destiny of the Dúnedain to rule as Lords of all Middle-earth? Did not Ar-Pharazôn humble Sauron himself? and was it not Sauron who betrayed that Great King and send their homeland crashing into the Abyss? Could the Corsair trust this man who aped so well the manners of the Deciever? It seemed he had no choice, join him or die, that was the choice that lay before him. Yet he could bide his time, see which way the wind was blowing, and then set his sails accordingly...
Serewing looked up and smiled, 'I accept your offer, my Lord...' Then draining his cup to the dregs he offered a toast. 'Death to all the enemies of Old Númenor.'

There it was. The Ered Nimrais with its high mountains. Having that viewing, the companions felt comforted but annoyed at the same time. What force would guide them and help them while in the mountains? Rasec believed in the strength of his fellows, and he knew there was no other choice but to wade over the Ered Nimrais. They rode beside the mountains for a quite long time in order to find the lowest mountain around. There was one which seemed special to Rasec's eyes, and so they rode in directon to it.
The sun was coming up when they were climbing the mountain. A great and fascinating light appeared and they felt the heat of the Sun in their own hearts. That was the force that guided them and gave them strength to continue. When midday came, they were in the top of the mountain. From there, they viewed the City of Edoras, beautiful and splendid to their eyes.
- We will be there tonight, fellows! - said Rasec in his loud and clear voice. - And we will be received with great honour! Éomer has been my friend for a long time. Ahead, companions!

A sinister smile spread across his face as he thought of the pleasure that he would soon feel at the terror of the nobels, he laughed silently as they rode in the vast darkness.

Mittero rode in silence behind Thallius. Though he couldn't see Thallius' visage, Mittero knew that the hunger growing within him was also upon Thallius. Mittero went over their plans in his mind. They were solid and co-ensided perfectly with what their lord had spoken to them. 'Yes,' he thought to himself. 'this should prove very ... entertaining. Let this proud, young one have his delusions. He will soon see that age has added to my sense and abbilities for the kill.' "Thallius," Mittero snarled the name with a mixture of hatred and venom. "Will you or I tell our canine friend of the plan? He must know it before we reach our destination." As Mittero waited for a response, he thought to himself. 'Yes, although we hate each other dearly, it is only the hatred for the company of the others of our damned race that this is over. That nature blood-lustfilled hatred we have now become heir too and that night long ago between us. Yes, Thallius, I still remember that night clearly, and I know you do too. We, vampires, hold our grudges like our lives, for eternity. Before I see you die at my hands Thallius, I will have at my mercy for that night. But not this mission, I will not put the Dark Lord's wishes benealth my own personal vengence, but, if ever I am not tied by m'lord, the MoS, to not have my revenge, beware Thallius. Fore I will strick quick and hard when you least expect it, and you will not be able to defend yourself, but your suffering will be immence, yound one.' "Well, young one." Mittero barked impatiently. "Who in your mind shall tell the werewolf? Or would you leave him guessing his part? That seems more like you."

"It matters not to me ancient wyrm, Tell him the plans if you wish." Snarlled Thallius over the din of the horses hooves, "you two seem to be of like mind anyhow. Bother me not until we reach our destination" Thallius pulled his heavy hood over his head and bore down upon his horse. They crossed the lands swiftly, and quickly the sun was beginnig to rise as the darkness began to pale. As they rode in silence Thallius thought, as he often did when traveling. He searched his mind for a distant memmory, a memmory so clouded that he could barely conceive of it. Then it came to him, clear and strong.....
********Memmories********
The village was burning, men calling to arms and women screaming. The orange glow of the fires consumed everything as young Thallius donned his armour and drew his sword. Orc's, he remembered, The orc's had attacked there village, but with them was a dark force, a shadow, it lept on victims and slew with no regard of age or gender. Thallius quickly slew 3 Orcs then turned to fight beside his father, It was then that his father fell, the shadow overtook him and in an instant he was dead. A rage filled Thallius and he searched for the shadow creature, hacking and slashing his way through ranks of Orcs, Not minding or noticing the cuts and wounds that covered his young body. Then in front of him the shadow loomed, its eyes dark and deep, it seemed void of light and life as it stood in front of Thallius. in a flash it was on him, its grip like that of a dwarven vice, crushing his arms in its hands. Thallius was helpless to move, he tried in vain to strugle but it was of no avail, as he slipped into darkness he prepaired to die....The next memmory was even stronger. The mysts ware all around him as he lay on his face, prone and cold on the hard earth. A pain in his stomach caused him to stumble and fall as he attempted to stand. Then he senced the shadow behind, that evil creature was pursuing him, pushing him through the mysts. Try as he might Thallius could not see the shadow, it seemed to elude his vision, but he knew it was there lying in wait for another moment to strike and finish off the kill. For what seemed like days Thallius stumbled through the myst. Thallius fell and dashed his face upon a rock, spliting his lip, the blood trickled into his mouth and he swallowed hard. It was then that the hunger started, as if his stomach was primed by his own blood he writhed in hunger pangs, almost mad he searched the dead ground for anything living on which to feed. Every living creature scurried away from Thallius eluding his hunger, he was to week to hunt them to far. Despite his hunger and weakness he continued to stumble and crawl throught the mysts. After a time he fell to his knees and cradeled his aching stomach. A quietness and stillness fell upon the land and it was then that Thallius heard it first, the beating of a heart. It was not his own heart for it beat to fast and it was full of life and strength. Thallius was drawn to the sound, like a ravenous beast he followed the sound. Suddenly upon the still air he heard a quiet weeping. Thallius slowed, it was very near. The Mysts seemed to part and he saw clearly for the first time in what felt like a lifetime. There before him sat an Elf maiden, on her lap she cradled the head of an elf in armor. Her slain lover he presumed. She cried and called the Elf warriors name in the silence. Thallius lay and watched until he couldnt stand it no longer, then he struck. Like a flash of light he was upon her, his teeth elongating in a second then he ripped into her jugular vein with surgical precision. For a time he drank, the extacy of feeding filling him. The Vampire and his victem rocking together as if in a lovers embrace. Then her blood started to run cold and became bitter to taste. Thallius looked into his victems eyes, their deep blue seemed to be the only color that existed. Her mouth moved silently as she passed from life unto death. Her voice grew strong for an instant before she died, she looked into Thalliuses eyes and clearly said "Thank you" then quietly she died and was no more. Thallius pushed her body off of him, and attempted to stand. A savage and utterly emmence pain coursed through his body, touching his very soul it seemed. He closed his eyes and saw the elf maidens eyes reflected in his memmory, burned into his psyche forever. Thallius stumbled again as he tried to stand and finially gave up and lay down. He knew not how long he lied on the cold hard ground. When he finially looked up the shadow was standing over him, a minacial smile spread across his face as he laughed evily at Thallius and held out a hand to help him up....

Ungo pulled his horse out in front of the two vampires, forcing them to stop. Starring at them darkly he said, "We will go no further until I have been told of the plan. I know not hatred is between you, but put it aside and put your mind on our master's wishes. How can we do things swift and silent if I know not what is planned? I know not about you, but I want nothing more then to see the men of Gondor suffer pain. And if you two will let your petty quarrels get in the way, then I will do it alone."

"As no one else seems to have any information to share, I will start." The attention of all in the room was suddenly drawn to a man who seemed to appear from the shadows. He was clad as a ranger of former days, with a weather-worn cloak, which was clasped with a shiny silver leaf, which had elvish writing upon it. The brooch stood out as the only new-looking article he carried. A long sword hung from his belt, the sheath glinting red in the light.
The ranger, Glingal, stepped out from behind a pillar, letting his hood down. It was now apparant to any who cared to notice that this ranger was no man, but an elf; his keen eyes and fair features revealed his kindred.
"The Mouth of Sauron has enthroned himself in the ruins of the Barad-dur as the new Dark Lord. He has gathered all the remnants of evil that remain after the fall of Sauron to him. This much I hope you already know. What I come to tell you is this: THe Mouth of Sauron has more than men and orcs at his command. He has already sent two vampires and a werewolf to torment the men of Gondor. These know how to spread terror; Faramir and Elessar need not fear for themselves, the assasins will first strike the weak and defenseless, knowing that we must act to protect them, and no single man can overpower a vampire. Terror they will cause, unless we act to prevent them from fufilling their mission."

Rasec looked deep into Glingal's eyes. He could easily see that Glingal was a very noble elf and of a very courageous heart. His words were of great help. Rasec was now delighted to have someone strong with them.
- I greet thee, mysterious elf! - said he. - You are right, we already knew that Evil has gathered in Barad-dûr. But what we did not know was that they are to send a werewolf and two vampires to attack the defenseless of these lands. Very surprising, for I thought they would act in high level, and that is not what I see. If terror will indeed be spread, we must not be sat, waiting for it to come to us. There are still somethings to discuss about, but I think we should send one or two spies to Mordor, so they can come back with news.
- Excuse me, Rasec. - said Phenix. - I want to say that I would like to be sent to Mordor as a spy, if it is possible.
- If you want to, it is consented. I guess nobody has any objection. And you could choose someone to go with you, my friend.
- I am going with him. - said Oren, the Lady. - Phenix and I will look for the Evil and return as fast as we can, with great news. But what if you are not here anymore when we return?
- We will probably not, in fact. - answered Rasec. - We should meet in the middle of our path in four days. Is it good for you?
- Yes, indeed, Geäthryn. - answered Phenix.

Having sent his deadly trio on before them, the Mouth of Sauron began to prepare for his departure. He summoned Bugburz and several other orcs and sent them scurrying throughout the strong-hold calling the rest to assemble in the court-yard where their horses would be held in readiness. He strode over to a great chest in a corner of the room and brought forth an enormous broadsword in a well-oiled scabbard. he drew forth the blade and was pleased to see that it's blade was still as keen as the day on which he had put it here, as he had thought for the last time.
There had been times, many times when he had seemed to be as one enchanted, when he saw dimly a life before his servitude to his lord Sauron. It had only been when he realized that he could be harmed, that he was no longer one of the most feared Men in the East, that his hatred had twisted his mind, scorching away forever any thought that had ever existed before he had come face to face with him . With Elessar. How he hated him! He saw Elessar as the reason for his loss of face before his lord and he remembered the punishment he had endured at Sauron's bidding. Favoured no longer he had been locked away, there to starve, until by chance the part of Barad-dur in which he had been imprisoned had crumbled in and he escaped with nothing but his life. And his hatred.
As he descended the long stairways that led down into the court-yard his thought was bent on one thing alone, the death and total destruction of Elessar and his kingdom.

Still standing in the shadow, Glingal burst out, "What need have we of spies in this matter? The enemy strikes! Would you rather know who the enemy intends to kill after they are dead? I have spent more years pursuing vampires than you have lived on this earth, and they will not wait. When the thirst for blood is on them, they strike. I will find their trail, and follow it to these accursed villains. Yes, we should gather information to combat the Mouth of Sauron's next stroke, but if we do not act to prevent terror from beginning, we will have no strength to act later. I ask nothing but provisions for my journey; if any wish to accompany me, let the be warned: vampires and werewolves kill. They do not fight like men, but like beasts."
Glingal walked quickly from the room, heading to the stables.

Thallius, Ungo and Mittero came to a stop in a secluded clearing of trees just outside of the city of Ithilien. Thallius dismounted and came over to stand beside Ungo."easy Ungo" he said calmly. He could see in the moonlight that the werewolf's hair stood on end and he quivered in antisipation of the kill. "Now is not the time to loose our heads, we must concintrate on the exactness of our mission and the methods we have devised to follow it to fruition." Thallius paced the clearing, feeling Mittero's eyes burning into his back all the while. How he despised the other vampire. Mittero and Thallius went way back, before the creature Gollum found the ring, even back as far as the rings creation ans the last stand of men and Elves. Thallius thought in silence as he ignored Mittero's eyes. to noone in particular he said "He is near, he is following us." Ungo's ears purked up, he had to say nothing to urge Thallius to explain further. "There is one who has searched form me and my kind for thousands of years, I killed his mate when he was but moments away from death, she thought he was dead, and I eased her suffering and took her life. Thallius glared up at Mittero with a hatefull look remembering the Elf maiden and her presumed dead lover in the mysts that fatefull night so long ago. Thallius remembered that night very clearly, his first meal, and the lesson that followed......
****Memmory****(sorry so long folks)
The shadow creature stood over Thallius, Its presence sending shivers down his spine, Evil seemed to radiate from him to engulf and envelope all that dared to come close to its horrible presence. It held out its hand as if in friendship. Thallius cringed, expecting the creature to fall upon him and devour him the second they touched. "Take my hand fool" the shadow said, its voice dripping with anger and irritation."I am not going to harm you boy, get up & imbrace your new life" Thallius sat puzzled and afraid, for a second he hesitated then took the creatures outstretched hand. In that instand Thallius was able, for the first time to see the dark creature that kept itself cloaked in shadow, it was a tall Man or an Elf, he could not tell for a thick cloak and hood covered its head. What he did see clearly were thoes eyes, they seemed to pearce deep into his soul and unlock, reveal & awaken his hidden fears. Thallius shuddered and looked away. "I will not harm you, Trust my words young one foe I alone created you, and I will not destroy you...yet!"Said the shadow. Thallius stirred up his courage and looked upon the creature once again. "Who...What are you? Thallius queried sheepishly. The shadow turned and paced throught the myst "My name is Mittero, I am darkness, I am fear, I am the drinker of blood, the killer of innocents, I am Vampire!..as are you now" the Vampire said matter-of-factly as he smirked at Thallius. Thallius suddenly felt sick. He remembered drinking the Elf maidens blood, draining her of her life force and ultimately her life ebbed and faltered. He did not know how he did it, for it did not seem odd or out of the normal, actuially it felt natural. "Curse you" Thallius screamed his words being silenced and swallowed up by the darkness around them. "it was you who killed my father, it was you who slayed my kin and burned my village, and it was you that turned me into...this!" Thallius continued to shout. Mittero laughed deep and looked thallu=ius in the eyes. "embrace who you are now boy, I have made you stronger, faster and a more efficient killer, gone are the days of fumbling with clumsy swords and armour. I have big plans for you young Thallius" Thallius's head spun he would rather die a thousand deaths than have to feed off the blood of the living. Thallius stood and balled his hands into tight fists and sprung at Mittero, swing wildly as his rage overflowed, replacing his fear. Each blow was blocked effortlesly, and what wasn't blocked fell short as mitter seemed to stand motionless in front of Thallius. Still Thallius raged at the other Vampire but his attack was pointless and ineffective. The in the blink of an eye Mittero struck Thallius, landing a sharb blow on his sturnum and sending him flying through the air and landing hard on his side, breathing hard and gasping for breath. Mittero laughed. "you have no need to breathe fool, your lungs are usless now, as your heart now ceases to beat, accept when hunger strikes or youre feeding. The older Vampire laughed at Thallius's niavete. "Get up, and look, your maiden has gone, and so has her lover. Did you not notice that he still lived, did you not hear his heart, smell his lifes breath, however so faint?, It seems that you now have an enemy young Thallius, and Im not talking about me........
****END of Memmory****
Thallius shook of the memmory, and continued to glare at Mittero. It was the Elf maidens lover who sought him, pursuing him over Middle earth and further. Thallius had learned his name, Glingal it was, and he was near, he could feel it. Thallius turned to Mittero and Ungo, Lets get to work. The three ran off in differant directions, Thallius choosing the guard house to start his reign of terror. silently he slid into the guard house, unnoticed by the drowsy captian sditting behind a desk. Thallius stepped up behind him and placed his hand on the mans shoulder. The captian of the guard started and turned to see who had touched his shoulder. When he turned there was nothing there. All he found was a cryptic symbol, scrolled on the wall in blood. The captian stood, swooned and passed out, as his heart momentairly failed him in fear....

As Thallius slid out of the guard's house, Mittero appeared behind him. Mittero's hand slid caressingly over Thallius' cheek. "Very well done, my beautiful young one. You have learned much since that night long ago." Thallius gerked away from Mittero. "Get away from me, Mittero." Thallius snarled. Mittero merely smirked at his young apprentace. "You have learned much since I created you, but remember that night's lesson. You recall the one. Beware my wrath, young one. I am still stronger and can still destroy you." Mittero was gone as quickly as he had appeared. Thallius was left to remember that night long ago.
****Thallius' memory****
Mittero started to walk away from Thallius. After a few moments he turned, "Come quickly, young one!" He barked. "We return to my dwelling place." Thallius glared at Mittero a few moments, but followed. This old killer might teach me something, he thought to himself. "Yes," smiled Mittero reading Thallius' thoughts. "I have much to teach you, and you will learn. First, you must leave no survivor unless you turn them. Hense I turned you and destoried your whole village. You are mine now, and will be for eternity." The old vampire grinned caninely. Thallius continued to glare at the vampire that so tormented him, but now seemed his only chance. Thallius felt his pure venom and bitterness toward his tutor, and felt completely discusted at what he knew he must say now. There is only one way, Thallius reasoned, to destroy this ancient killer. That is to bid my time and learn all he has to teach me. Then, maybe in a few thousand years, I will be the master. I will be his tormentor. "Very well, you ancient blood-drinker, teach me to murder and torture." Mittero turned on Thallius and threw him twenty feet with one sweep of his arm at the young one's chest. "Don't you ever call what we do murder or torture, you foolish nimph." Mittero's voice was low and dripped with malice. Thallius shrank back. "You will learn, young one, but you will never become stronger than I. You are too much my younger and will be forever. Now come. The sun rises." Mittero then pushed the young one before him and directed him to a small palace built in a mountain that was Mittero's.

As Glingal rode his horse away from Edoras, Cesar was observing him by the window. Then Búrun spoke.
- What a strange elf! He did not even tell us his name! Have you ever seen him before, Rasec?
- Yes, for sure. His name is Glingal. He likes to be mysterious and fast. But that does not really matter now. He has helped us with some more information, has he not? What I want now is that you Phenix and Oren leave as well. Come! - exclaimed Rasec. - Let us take your horses. I will go with you to the stable, for I have somethings to tell you before you leave.

- Thank you, majesty. - answered Rasec. - We have here ten companions already, but actually three of them are ill, and they will not be able to follow us. Therefore we have seven. Give us more three to replace the ones who are ill and I will be pleased at all.

Thallius leaves the room and goes up the stairs. He finds the house quite as everyone sleeps. He enters the master bedroom. Two forms lay sleeping in a large bed, the male snoring loudly. "Ill silence his snore, then Ill silence his voice. Thallius strikes, silently falling upon the man and draining him of blood. He stops just before the man stops breathing, leaving just a little of his life in him. Then he leans over to the woman and whispers into her ear. Rasec was had no doubt about what that was. "Elgòfir!" - exclaimed he. Then he ran to the window and spread his arm straight, so the white falcon could land on it. After it landed, been watched by all his companions, Rasec talked mentally to his animal.

The scream caused Glingal to halt in his tracks momentarily. The vampire and his cohorts had arrived before him. They must not strike again, at least not without a fight. The council was a waste of time; there is no use trying to warn those idiots of evil in their midst, they will simply set out for Mordor in an attempt to destroy the mastermind, leaving their defenseless people to deal with the Dark Lord's minions. Why didn't they see that there was more than one mind behind this? The new evil that had arisen did not emenate from a single source; this was no Sauron directing blind slaves. Even if the Mouth of Sauron was destroyed, evil would not be vanquished. Vampires, Werewolves, and evil corsairs would still destroy all they could. Morgoth be cursed! His malice will endure until the end of Arda. Always will there be some who harken to his teachings. Even the Valar, should they come in power to Middle Earth, could not destroy all the remnants of evil; their source was not in Arda, but shut out in the Void, still wielding power. Why did Eru allow there to be such evil? And if there must be evil, why create innocent lives for it to snuff out?
Such questions could not be answered. Glingal immediately struck out on a path which would lead him to his enemy before he could strike again. It would be best to confront the vampires when they were full of fresh blood, when they would not be strengthened by their blood lust.
The distance between them seemed as nothing to the tireless elf, and before long he had found fresh tracks, which appeared to be tinted with blood in his mind. His centuries of pursuit allowed him to recognize his enemy. Now to get ahead and wait. . . .

Serewing stood upon a balcony overlooking the stained stones of the courtyard, gazing down on the dark figure below him. Hamann the thief stood at his side gazing off into the west, a discontented frown playing across his face.
'Look how he lords it over his troop of petty Uruks...' The Corsair sneered.
The thief looked down with a disinterested gaze upon the Mouth of Sauron - busy arming himself for his forthcoming journey; he had grown tired of Serewing's rhetoric. The Corsair had not told him of his meeting with the Dark Lord, and Hamann could not understand this bitterness towards their new master. The Corsair however was livid at his treatment. To think that he, Sorontil Serewing, should be set upon like a beggar at the gate. He fingered the hilt of the long dagger worn upon his hip - how easy it would be to go down there and thrust it through that charlatan's ribs. Now his black-souled bodyguards had departed, the Mouth of Sauron was easy prey. And yet without him what chance did they have against the might of the West? No - it would be foolish to make a play for power now; better to wait until victory was at hand. He had allies, that hulking brute of an Uruk-hai had shown him that... his time would come. Until then he would play the dutiful servant.
'Hola!' He yelled to the dark figure below. 'Are you leaving us so soon? What, pray tell, are we to do your absence? Hamann here yearns for some entertainment... and I must confess that I grow weary too. Perchance you need some guards upon the road? One never knows when a blade may strike from the darkness...'

Mittero, after slipping off from Thallius, let himself into a silent house. He silently slid through the house, one with the shadows. Arriving at the vast master bedroom, he wandered over to the man's side. As he was about to strike, he heard the man stir and begin to wake. Mittero grinned. Perfect, he thought. Just before the man woke, he sank his teeth into the man's neck and drank till he had lost almost all his blood, but would live for a few hours still. He, unlike the young one, had this art perfected to it utmost degree. Mittero knew that the man would die in exactly four hours. Thallius couldn't do that yet. Mittero hissed in the man's wife's ear. "Awake, awake. Thy husband shall die in four hours. Do not waste thy time. Bring him to thy Faramir. Let him die in mid-story." The woman awoke with a start as Mittero slipped from the window and the screams began from Thallius' kill. Wonderful, Mittero thought. He then caught a strang scent. Elf... Glingal. Mittero sneered and followed the scent. The elf never knew he was behind him as Mittero slid from shadow to shadow. Mittero wouldn't let this elf kill Thallius ... not yet at any rate. Mittero still had need of Thallius. The very reason that Mittero had taken Thallius from his village's distruction had not yet be attained. Mittero still had work for Thallius to do before he was disposed of...

As Bugburz run off on his errand, the tall Uruk came into view in full armour and carrying a wicked-looking sword that would've given a Mumak pause.
The Mouth of Sauron mounted his horse smoothly, stroking the silky mane absently. The animal had been one of the few things here that had pleased him and he was inordinately proud of it. As Serewing and Hamann approached, he said, "Entertainment? Aye, and of a sort rarely seen in this Age of the world, my good Hamann! It was always my intention that you both join me in this venture, for then you shall see truly that I am not the "charlatan" you would think me." Glingal heard the second scream shatter the seeming tranquility of the woods. A grim smile creased his stern features: he had guessed correctly. Each vampire had claimed a victim, but only one. They were bent on terror, not slaughter.
He now had an advantage on them. Vampires fought most fiercely when they are hungry for blood; it is best to encounter them after a 'meal'. While he might thwart some of their evil intent by visiting the town, that would mean allowing the vampire a head start, leading to more innocent victims. Consoling grief could wait. Traveling silently, he began to grow wary, stopping frequently to listen to the ground or check broken twigs. He was drawing close.

*after telling Ghaztakh that the Mouth of Sauron told him to get horses for the humans, he stood in the shadows of the entrance to the courtyard, looking at each of the remnants of evil, trying to decide who he'd send to Shelob, he remembered the vampires and the werewolf first, wished they hadn't left, he looked at the humans next, but decided that they were too valuable to the New Boss, he focused on the Uruk-Hai for a while because he hated that thing the most, but it had seemed that the New Boss wanted him around for some reason, he finally made up his mind that he definitely didn't want to die, so he followed Ghaztakh, apparantly to help with the remaining horses* "The New Boss says you have to scout the pass of Cirith Ungol. Those vampires and that werewolf have probably stirred the humans up by now and we'll have to watch out for them. I wanted to send the uruk!" *fights the strong horses with Ghaztakh back to the courtyard and sends the other orc off on the errand, then hides in the shadows again, awaiting the word to move out*

Riding besides Serewing, Hamann couldn't ignore the tension he had felt between the corsair and MoS. Not that hamann was actually worried, he just didn't want to get himself caught in the middle of any trouble between Serewing and MoS.

Thallius skulked through house after house, spreading fear and enjoying his mission. The screams of the ladies as they discovered their husbands dead or nead death echoed all around him. He traced the ancient rune into the floor and left. His job done he spead back to the clearing and pulled up his hood as the sun started to rise. "Mittero, Ungo..are you here?"

Mittero stepped from the shadows, delicately licking a few drops of blood from his chin. He was greatly enjoying the screams of terror and fear that echoed through the city. "Yes, young one, I am here. As if you should ask. I don't know if you have noticed or not, but your *old* friend, Glingal, is here. You remember, that elflord, whose lady was thy first meal?" Mittero's voice held a teasing componant in it with this comment to the young Thallius.

The vampires had already been in the clearing for a short amount of time when a massive wolf entered the clearing, blood dripping from its mouth. "I all but destroyed a few flock of cattle and sheep like you asked, but tonight I will terrorize the humans directly as you have already done." With that Ungo sifted back into a man, wiped the blood from his face. And then waited for the vampires to tell him what they had planned for the day.

Mittero sneered. "Don't be a fool, Ungo. Your time to shine amount the mortal humans will come. We mustn't be hasty now. Some of the men tonight have lived for a few hours longer than usual to spread their tale of terror amoung the populous. That is something only a well-desiplined vampire can do, but I must say you have done a marvelous job. Much more than one usually expects from an werewolf. You seem to have amazing self-control over your gift." Mittero smirked and turned his back to Ungo and Thallius. "There is a cavern up this way that we can stay in. We don't have to worry about the people finding us, not yet at least. Right now our greatest worry is your elven friend." Mittero half snarled and half sneered as he said friend with special enphisious, then led the way to the caverns deep in the woods.

Ungo glared murderously at Mittero, "Watch your tongue vampire, I am more powerful then you could ever imagine, and if the MoS had not commanded us to corporate with each other then I would slay thee right now, and don't think I couldn't. And why do you two fear a little Elf so much?" he sneered, "I myself have slain more Elven warriors then you could count. But let us put aside our quarrels until after the MoS's plans have come into being. "The vampires and the werewolf continued on towards the caverns.

The next day, the riders were calmer, for they thought they would never arrive there riding so fast and tiring themselves. Though Rasec was not worried about that. He was thinking about something he had seen some hours ago. He had looked up to the sky, far away, and had viewed a shadow in the east, in the shape of a dark cloud, darker than he imagined it could be. He got disturbed. "The Evil is spreading terror in the east of Gondor. The shadows are been spread with dark clouds. There will be a storm soon". Then Rasec stopped his horse and told his companions about the dark clouds. Some of them looked really worried, but some did not even pay attention.
- We indeed need to go faster. - said Rasec. - For we should not allow our people to be in terror. Let us strike the Evil, companions! I have decided that I shall go ahead, faster than anyone here, and I will possibly join Glingal before the dawn. Come after me and do not spread yourselves. It may rain soon, so be aware!
Then the Elf-Human rode ahead, turning his white horse strongly. "I am coming, fool Evil!" - he whispered to himself.

Mittero whirled on Ungo. "This elven warrior, you fool, actually knows how to kill a vampire. No werewolf ever killed a vampire because you can not. You don't know how to kill us. Rip our throws out!" Mittero revealed his throat to the werewolf. "Go ahead it will do you know good. I will still live. No matter what you do I will live, but this elf knows things. He knows our few weaknesses." Mittero turned and stalked off to the caverns. Upon entering, he continued to walk deep into the cave so that the sun would not hit him. After about an hour in the caverns, Mittero stopped abruptly and lay down. He promptly fell asleep, or at least look thus.

Hearing the continuing screams, Glingal quietly cursed himself for misjudging the vampires. He should have known! They were bent on mass terror now, not secret, widespread alarm. Finding the trail of the werewolf, he followed it to where he and the vampires had met. Knowing he was no match for two vampires and a werewolf together, he decided to do some terror of his own. He was not seeking to kill them as yet, just to confirm their fears that Glingal was following them.
Mittero suddenly noticed an arrow sprouting from his leg. Ungo found an arrow in his right arm, and Thallius in his left shoulder. Before anything else could happen, Glingal was gone.

Mittero stood up in alarm, leaving the arrow lodged in his thigh. "Glingal." He hissed quietly. "Don't bother." He snapped as Ungo went out to catch the elf. "He is long gone." Mittero yanked the arrow from his leg and lays back down. The only reminder of the arrow is the slight tear in his pants. He closes his eyes. "He won't be back today, but tonight might be another matter." Mittero drifted off to sleep.

The next day, Rasec was riding through the city of Ithilien. He found a stable and left his horse with a man who looked trusty. Then he started looking for Glingal. It was not difficult to find him, for Rasec's eyes could see far away and could easily differ someone in a crowd. There he saw Glingal, walking fast, with his mysterious face under his cloak. The Elf-Human swiftly walked towards him and followed him until an old lodging. There he entered and Rasec went behind him. Glingal stopped near the stairs and Rasec whispered some words near his ear.
- It seems like this elf can be easily chased without perceiving it.
With this, he turned to Rasec and gave him a small smile.
- I long ago knew you were chasing me, Elf-Human! - said Glingal. - For you cannot walk as silently as elves.
- I can - answered Rasec. - And you did not notice me. Otherwise you would not enter the lodging in which you are dwelling.
- Correct - he admitted. - But now tell me: where are the others?
- They are soon arriving. I came faster to meet you and make sure everything is under control.
- Indeed it is. Now get a room for you.
Rasec asked for a room near Glingal's. He got the keys and went upstairs with the elf.
- There is much I need to tell you - said Glingal. - Although you need to rest. Go then and meet me at my room when you feel better.
- I do not need to rest. I want to know everything now. Come.
They entered Glingal's room and sat around a table. The elf told Rasec about the situation of the city and about the vampires and the werewolf. Then he dropped a paper on the table and they made a plan. A really intelligent plan.

Charmiana had been searching for that handsome young elf Mablung for quite some time... and she had found him... although she had only known him for a few hours she had fallen deeply and desperatly in love and all those things she as a mortal had read about...
CHarmiana was a tall girl who looked as if she had a little elvish in her. Unfortunetly she was a bit imaginative... it came from having an evil side. She had hidden her gory sence of humor by pretending to be a ditzy dreamy romantic "normal girl" This was really just one of her attempts to mimick the other girls who had all remarked on the beauty of that elf.

A group of 5 rode into town with their leader on a white steed. They had followed some reports of a group of orcs terrorizing the region and had come to investigate. They rode to the Inn where Glingal and Rasec were staying then checked themselves in. They got two large rooms between them and the four humans that joined Finlaris went into the common room and began ordering drinks in anticipation of battle the next day. They enchanted the women with tales of their past exploits. In the corner though their leader sat wondering about the Orcs since there had been few signs of attack on people and not the normal sort of evidence that Orcs left behind. He sat puzzled for awhile and turned it over in his mind. He wondered if just maybe he had stumbled upon something worse than Orcs as he had a few times in the past. Whatever it was he vowed to lift the evil plaguing the town.

Gladaelyr the Fair stepped cautiously into the common room of the inn. It was darkly lit, and several men who looked as though they had been long in the wild sat around the tables, speaking animatedly with the women of the village. Lyr moved quietly to a table in the corner and sat, her expressive eyes lowered to the table in front of her.
She wished for a moment, wistfully, to join the merriment proceeding at the opposite table, but stopped herself. She had never been especially outgoing.
She was waiting now for a friend, Hyldran - a village man who had promised to meet her there. He was long in coming, and she began to wonder where he was.

Finlaris decided to let the issue of his work go and enjoy himself as his companions were doing. His eye was caught by Charmiana and he watched her in amusement then laughed as she tried to wiggle her hips and giggle. He quickly apologized and offered her a seat asking her to try and relax.

Why were these men so dense? After once again failing to convince Rasec of the imminent danger, Glingal fled the inn in exasperation. If none of these men could see that spying and trying to 'contain' the new Dark Lord's minions was ultimately useless, how could he hope for victory? Nevertheless, Glingal did hope. He plunged back into the forest, hoping to keep the vampires wary and cautious with his warnings. The day would come. He knew, with the knowledge of foresight, that one day he would revenge his wife. One day the vampires would pay with their lives. One day two of those sharpened stakes in his quiver would pierce the hearts of Gilmîriel's murderers. In the meantime, he would track them, foiling them where he could, unnerving them by his persistence. If the Mouth of Sauron sent any other servants this way, they would be hard pressed to avoid an arrow to the heart.

Mittero had been unable to content himself with the cave, young vampyre, and werewolf for company, so he had left. Keeping his thick black cloak tightly around him, the old vampyre walked into the bar in which Finlaris and his men were in. He just heard the last comment the elf had made upon entering, and decided to discretely listen in. Mittero took a seat at a dark corner table within easy sight of the elf and his young companion. Her beauty was stricking even to the old vampyre. Ordering a glass of water, Mittero sat listening intently to every word spoken and unspoken with his sharp ears. The girl has a very interesting "dark" side to her. That might be useful to me later, especially if she gets close to this elven-hunter. He leaned back in against the wall, keeping his hood over his face, and grinned caninally.
