ooc: i have an idea, we can use it if u guys think it's good enough.

Ulath grins at the small crowd around him, but his grin is cut short by a whistling sound through the air. Before anybody can do anything an arrow plunges into the man's chest.
Beth (the girl) glances at the door as cries ring out in the tavern, but the offender is gone - a few running after him.
Some one bends down to tend to Ulath, forcing the tightly pressing crowd away
"Give the man some air!"
Uponthe black arrow protruding from Ulath's chest is a grubby, slightly scorched letter. when some one unrolls it, they find four words: "the treasure is mine."
The person tending to Ulath stands, quieting the crowd. "He is dead."

ooc: i thought now we could decide to find the treasure ourselves and avenge Ulath's death

They were given to me by lady galandriel of the the woods, but I leaft my camp to get my horse and they were gone! This is indead a problem! *Dimlondewen looks worried* I have been wandering from rivendell to lothlorien to minas tirith but here I thought I would have some quite at last... But we must find out who did this, I shall at least. My friend will you come with me?

i have some..For example when i came in did anybody notice?and i have someother simple magic.But i am excellent with my bow and arrow.Also i can sense danger before it come sometimes.it depend on how busy i am, and it makes me a little tired but not enough to make me sleep or anything.

Beth looks up at the young elf. She is small for her age (14) and it was true that both she and the elf would fit on the beautiful horse.
"I would be honoured." she answered politely. "That is if i would not be too much of a bother. What shall i call you?"
Then, turning towards the large bird perched upon the elf's shoulder, she said. "i have no 'powers' in that sense of the word. but i promise you, you will not find me a burden, i can help you."

ps: greetings consider me as some bad adventures in the way...

The group set travel to find the treasure and avenge Ulath death(or whoever he is ), while some miles far in the east of those lands a dark shadow reunited with his dark lord. A demon twice the size of a man. ``I did as you commanded my lord`, said the shadow. It has been invisible a momment ago but now the siluete of a horrible ghost could be seeing,``But i am afraid that some intruders heard about the treasure and they are heading this way.``
``Good``said the demon,``they will find their end in here. Did you knew any of them?``
Yes``,said the shadow, ``there is Alkdilwen and Arwen``
``Two beautifull elves, i will put an end to that``, said the demon laughing.``i wonder if Arwen still remember the event with Elladan and Elrohir. Who else is with them?``
There is also Neothen`` said the shadow
``Damn``, the demon howled,``that mage is always disturbing us... We should have killed him instead of his pride and his love...`Anyway, i´ve heard enough, i will take care of all of them(including Neothen once and for all), come my servant we should consult some of our allies across this land so they will never find the treasure...
``Yes master` said the shadow, and both entities left and that part of the forest was now gray and without life... Their precence had been noted in the forest.....

OOC: Ummm... I don't play the part of Arwen. My name in the RPG is Dimlondewen, she is supposed to be a high elf that likes Elladan and is friend with Elrohir. She was exiled from Rivendell and thats why she knows and remembers them.

Takes off her hood. "We shall rest here. I can now feel some evil precence too, but here we will be safe as long as we don't lighta fire or make great noise." Dismounts Enedfalath and starts to take out some food "Its Lembas, I already had a pack with me when I arrived at the bar, take some there is lots. " gives out lembas and sits on a rock thinking with her head down. She mumbles in elven tough very quietly " This place brings memories."

All in all she felt herself a pretty ordinary person, but surrounded by those of beauty and magic, she felt out of place and lonely. maybe she should not have come with them . . .
"Memories." she whispered. "oh how they haunt us. Do not let them lie on your heart, Alkdilwen, for memories are for learning not for sadness. You are not the only one who feels pain in this place."
Beth looked away. Who was she to give advice to an elf? She wished she had not spoken.

I was exiled to live out in the wild for a while. For... a reson." By now all could sense(even Beth that didn't have any powers) that she wasn't very eager to tell about her past. After talking a little more all of them went to sleep tired of the trip. In the middle of the night and when everyone was sleeping, the dark ghost that once spoke with the demon appeared again. Nobody noticed his precense. He went to where Beth was sleeping and his dark hand touched her cheek. She felt a coldness in her face...
´´So young yet so beautifull and valuable´´, said the shadow with a weak voice,´´i will not let him take you... ´´
In that momment Alkdilwen woke up, but the shadow turned invisible so she couldn´t see nothing. But she felt something really strong and of dark nature in the air.... She felt a chill behind her back, cold as ice and also heard a deep cavern voice:´´You´ll be dead before you get to the half of your trip elf´´...Alkdilwen turned around but there was nothing there, she looked up in the sky and saw that a dark cloud had erased all the stars......

Picks up Beth. "There is no time to change horses now. Keep your weapons ready, the shadow might still be near!" By now every had mounted their horses, and they all leaft as fast as they could. "Could this be a Nazgûl shadow?" She said to Akidilwen as they raced off.

All the company was running and running for what it seemed hours untill they were save. The dark cloud left and the precense of the dark shadow seemed to be gone, for now. But still all of them were alert. It seemed that this place holded a great evil and great secrets also. Neothen appeared them. His magic made the shadow go away, but he said that he had sensed great power, and that probably that warning was only the begining. They decided to rest to rest for a while, leaving Neothen and Akidilwen watching the camp for the rest of the night. But even with that Beth couldn´t sleep. Nothing happened, they didn´t saw or feel anything. Whatever had disturbed them was gone now....
But in the morning something really strange happened. When everyone was up, suddenly Akidilwen saw a man that was standing right in front of them. Nobody had seem him, and it was simply because he had appeared a momment ago. He was wearing a brown cloth and he was at least forty years old. But his green eyes reflected a the vigor of a much younger man. They all went for they´re weapons but the man simply raised a hand in a pacific way and in almost a paternal voice he said:
´´Greetings travelers, i seek no harm. I am only here to guide you and answer all the questions you have, for is clearly as water that you don´t know this part of the land and you might need my help...´´

Beth want pink and didn't say anything. Dimlondewen looked at Beth then at Bouk. " I grew up in Rivendell, but my parents lived in Lothlórien. I went to Rivendell at early age to study. I was exiled from there by Master Elrond and am only alowed to return at his comand."
She then pushed Beth forward( who was hidding behind her still red in the face) Then she said "I grew up in a small village, with my parents, ohh my name is Beth."

The evil will try to get her, yu can count on that, also i don´t quite know if the evil knows about her....It is said that the only key to the treasure would be that person that would fill this description: 1.It could not have magic or power of any kind(not even elf magic); 2.It could not have been born in this land;and 3.her name would start with the first letter of the name of master of the treasure(who died 500 years ago) who´s name is Bankeinoth....Many travelers had come here but none of them had all this requisites. That´s why they all failed(and also because the evil got to them)...What the treasure really is nobody really knows, but it is something very important and dangerous, for even travelers that had adventured in the lost castle of Bankeinoth had not returned even when the evil wasn´t after them....There is some kind of magic around that castle, you can feel it in the air, is not evil but it doesn´t like strangers.....´´Bouk looked up to the entrance of a forest,´´we are almost there´´, he said whispering..............

She turned her face away and would not meet anyone's eyes. What was she doing here? she didn't belong. a simple village girl amoung elves and sorcerers. . . it was absurd. But she would stay, as long as they would have her, for now, now there was nothing to go back to . . .

´´They will take no one´´, said Bouk and he looked at the dryad´s captain,´´take us to your leader.´´
´´Very well´´, said the dryad that had spoken,´´nothing that comes from Bouk the Druid can harm us. Come with us.´´They took them all to the interior of the forest, and there in a throne made of leaves was the king of the dryads. He looked bigger and stronger than a dryad, but most of all he looked wise. He was guarded by at least 30 dryads along with many others males, that looked like him. The king of the dryads stood up from the throne when they arrived. He hugged Bouk in a very affective way.They seemed like old friends.
´´Bouk, what brings you here? And who are this people that you brought with you?, said the king. His voice sounded had a sweet melody. You would say that he was more singing than talking.
´´There is a favor i need to ask you, Nankuror,´´said Bouk,´´they have come for the lost treasure.´´The king looked at Bouk with sadness.
´´You know what you are asking´´,said the king.
´´I know,´´said Bouk,´´but they have come to help you. They will solve all your troubles, i promise. They are the right people.´´
´´You said the same thing about all the other travelers you brought here,´´said the king,´´what makes yu think they would be different?´´
´´Believe me i know,´´said Bouk and he looked at Beth,´´this time it will be different.´´
´´They still have to pass the test, and you know it,´´said the king and this time he looked at the travelers. He measured each and everyone of them.´´Lemona pick yours´´, said the king and he returned to his throne.
The captain dryad that had brought them there gave two steps forward. She also looked at all the travelers. Then her eyes met those of Dimlondewen and the dryad pointed to her.´´Her,´´she said to the king,´´she look like the toughest.´´After saing this all the dryads made a circle and Lemona got in armed with her lance. She stood in the middle and looked back at Dimlondewen.

Bouk turned to Dimlondewen.´´I am sorry, but all the dryads have this tradition. You´ll have to beat their best warrior in the green circle, other way you won´t be honorable for any quest. Good luck. I know you´ll win. You can´t use any magic. It will be only sword against lance...´´
´´Very well,´´said Lemona looking at Dimlondewen,´´what are you waiting for?....´´

"This is an elven blade, given to me by prince Elladan in Rivendell, it has won me many battles. It shall not fail me now." With that she threw her self forward at Lemona, she defended her self with the lance. Then she attacked, aiming for her face. Dimlondowen ducked, but the lance made a cut on her face. She then took her sword up, and swong it at Lemona. She fell back, bleeding.

Dimlondowen was starting to get tired. She didn't have time to attack, all she could do was block Lemona's firce atacks. Lemona was distracted when she saw two of her friends fall dead on the ground, she looked up. That was when Dimlondowen has her chance, she ran forward and knocked Lemola to the ground. She picked up Lemola's lance and pointed her sword to Lemola's face. "Withdraw from this battle so I do not have to kill you! Can't you see that you can not win this battle, give up now and let me spare you!" Lemola made only one movement as an answer, she looked up at her king. As if waiting for his permission.

´´Fights over,´´said the king,´´Dimlondewen is the winner.´´All the members of the company were really happy about this. They spend the night at the dryads forest where they ate delicious dishes made out of leaves and roots, but for some strange magic it tasted as good as meat and it was more easy to chew. The king made a meeting with them late night. Only the king and his most trusted captains were with him. Including Lemona who´s pride was hurt in the fight and now looked at Dimlondewen with anger eyes.´´The first mission we have for you, is very important,´´said the king,´´but also very dangerous. None of my dryads or the other travelers that had come here had acomplished. Listen very well. Not far from here there is another forest. It was the continuation of this forest, but that was a long time ago. In that forest there is the most important thing for the dryads. It´s the Dryad´s Tree. We named like that because we were the only ones who had the right to touch his fruits. As well as the only ones who could see it. For the tree is invisible and sincerely i don´t know how you´ll find it. The fruits of the tree were the most wonderfull thing ever seen. There were golden apples that for centuries we used their magic in order to keep the forest safe. But one day, a bunch orcs and ogres attacked the place and took it as their home. Even a fire golem was with them. Anyway the minute they took it the tree became invisible, even for us, and the treants that were the protectors of the place turned against us. Now here is the mission for you, you´ll have to get to the tree(if yu make it after the treants), and get two golden apples from the tree. Just two for that´s all we need. As i said before it´s not an easy assigment but i trust in the good judgment of Bouk. The trip will beging in the morning. For now good night to all and may the Tree of Life look out for you.....´´

The company mounted their horses. Dimlondowen saw that Lemola was looking at her with an angry face, full of anger. She smiled back, for she did not want the anger of Lemola. At this Lemola made a strange face, as if she did not know what to do now.

The company was walking into the forest. They had no idea how they would find the tree but they were all hoping that Neothen could. The trees were strange in that forest. When they camped close to the afternoon, they felt another presence in the air. Something was not right. There were no animals here and no birds could be heard singing. It was a curse place. Beth sitted under a tree that was at least two times her size. When her back touched the bark something pushed forward. She turned around and gave a loud scream that was heard in all the forest. The tree had now eyes and it was moving toward them like a normal human been. The treants!, they all thought. The treant walked up to them and others like him joined him. Now they were surrounded by these guardians of the Dyrad´s tree. ´´What are you?And what is your business in this forest?´´, said one of the treants that obviously had never seen an elf or a human..........

"This is the reason we do not let the Dryads into this forst anymore! They come and cut down our trees! Put that away and never take it out while you are in this parts of the forest!" It said. Dimlondowen put it away, but took out her bow and arrow instead. "I cannot cut the trees with this weapon, and if you do not attack us I shall only have to use it to cut the 2 golden aaples from the invisable tree."

The treants took them to the interior of the forest. They didn't looked very convinced, but then again these strangers didn't seemed suspicious at all. The treants suddenlly stopped. ''We can only come untill this part of the forest...We are not allowed to go further. The magic of the tree won't let us. However, this is the only safe exit to this forest, and if your intentions are evil to the tree he can take out this force field and let us in...I don't know how you will do to find it, but that's your problem...We'll wait here for your return...''and with this the treants stopped and let the company advance further into the jungle.....

The next day they woke early and started the search. They all could feel danger growing stronger, yet it was far away. Dimlondowen was walking when she saw a golden leaf on the ground, she stoped and picked it up "This must be a leaf from the golden tree, we are close." she said to the others. They continued their walk, Beth who was walking looking up at the trees sudenlly hit something, she fell to the ground. " Ohhhhh! What was that!" When she looked there was nothing there...
"Neothen!" Akidilwen called as Dimlondowen went to help Beth up. Neothen, who had been flying high, looking for the tree now came down and landed on Akidilwen's shoulder. "What is it?" he said. Dimlondowen moved closer to the place where Beth had fallen and put up her hand to the air. "I think we have found it! I can feel a tree, but I see none." Dimlondowen said. "Neothen, can you see the tree?" Neothen flew to Dimlondowen out streached arm. "No..." he said.

Before Beth could answer a great red flame raised from the floor, standing between Beth and Alkidiwen. The great flame then materialized into a six foot tall human figure , with red eyes. His entire skin was made of living flame and lava. The Fire Golem!! they all screamed, and went for their weapons. The golem made somekind of horrifying howl and threw flames at Alkidiwen. She got out of the way on time, when she looked again the golem turned to Beth. With a quick movement Bouk took it out of the way of the red flames that were thrown at her. Neothen tried to fly down to help his friends, and that's when they heard the howls. Howls coming from everywhere around them. Orcs!! they all thought, and a momment later the forest was full of orcs(at least 30 of them) attacking them. Bouk protected Beth at all cost, but he knew his strength and magic wasn't enough for a fire golem and so many orcs, and.....Before he could finish two more strong howls came from the end of the forest. Breaking the roots that was on their way, two trolls came to join the battle. They had been behind, maybe hidding in some kind of cave. They all looked at the trolls and they started to get even more worried, including Neothen. If the treants could help them this would have been a piece of cake, but the Invisible Tree was no where to be seeing and it seemed that this tree wasn't affected by fire....They all interrupted they're thoughts to come back to the fight. If they were going to win, they would win alone. Neothen founded a safe spot to land, but he wandered if he could help his friends on time.....

*Neothen was not pleased with the sudden attack. He couldn't help his friends so he concentrated on finding the tree. He turned to normal form but right then a fire ball hit his arm and scortched it. Neothen saw the fire golem and shot some liquid ice at the beasts arm. He knew it wouldn't hold the beast for long but it would give Bouk enough time. Neothen jumped to the next tree but when he did he hit his head on an invisible branch. He felt around for a golden apple and he found two. He put them in his robes and tried to return to his friends but his arm was maddly bleeding and it was pussing. Neothen was starting to faint, some kind of poison was effecting his body.*

Dimlondowen was running low on arrows, also she could only hit the orcs since when her arrows hit the fire golem they just bured up and did not hurt him. She was hurt and bleeding, she had to hold off the orcs alone since her friend were buzy with the golem. "Bouk we've got to get out of her! Beth and Neothen have fainted, 3 cannot win a battle against a golem and orcs. We have to run, get out of these parts of the forest! Or I could..." With that she took out a a small bottle which looked like it had light comming from the inside. She trew it on the ground and a bright light came out, the golem and orcs vanished.

She fell to the ground, grabed the bottle( which was not broken) and covered it. The light stoped, she quickly but it in her bag and went to help the others. Akidilwen was holding both Beth and Neothen, Dimlondowen went to help her. "We've got to get out of here! There might be more, has Neothen got the 2 apples? " Akidilwen nodded, with a stuned face. Bouk was also wearing an expresion of half stuned, half angry. She mounted her horse and Beth in front of her and Bouk got on behind. Akidilwen mounted her horse holding Neothen, who had not yet recovered. Then Akidilwen said "What was that!?". "I'll tell you when we get out of the forest! Ride now! And ride fast, I see more orcs coming" Dimlondowen replyed looking back. "Go Enedfalath!" And they started to run. They rode well into the night but they were close to the place were they had entered this part of the forest. Neothen and Beth had recovered and now were also aking questions to Dimlondowen, but she answered none and said "Wait until we get out of the forest"

The company continued running and got to the treants. The orcs that followed them were crushed like flies by these moving trees. "We made it ", said Bouk. The treants let them return to the dryads for they didn't felted any danger toward the great tree. The dryads received them with great happiness and joy. Even Demona. The king gave them all medals of leaves in recognition for their valor. The company had a great festival in the city of the dryads. The king had promise they would depart in the morning, toward the treasure. He wish them all their luck before he went to sleep. Everybody was happy except Bouk that in this night of victory and festivity he kept for himself most of the time....

The king said good bye to the travelers that morning. Then Demona and four other dyrads went ahead with the company following them."Where are we going Bouk? Where are they taking us?", asked Akidilwen impatiently.
"The dryads are the only ones that know the entrance to the dark mountain. At least the safe entrance. They are guide in us to a secret tunnel which only them can open. It is one of the best secrets of their tribe, that's why the king was so worried and didn't give it to you for free. He had to get something in return of that secret, and now he did. There is a very important thing inside the Temple of the Gnomes. This temple is inside the mountain. We'll have to find the temple for ourselves inside, take The Red Eye of Dorgarakth, and get out alive in the other side of the mountain. Any questions?"

"Nobody in these lands know how really big this tunnel is",said Bouk after a while,"the truth is that the dwarfes and the gnomes that lived here made close to one hundred tunnels that go in every direction of this mountain. Two hundred years ago I was invited as a guest of honor to this wonderfull dwarf city. I made many friends here, specially gnomes. Their magic were powerfull and it was their magic that keep it the dark forces away from this mountain. The dwarfes paid a small fee(in comparison with the huge riches they got from the mountain) every year to the gnomes in return for their protection and their support. For the gnomes were not only protectors and helpers, but also they were healers. But actually i must say that the gnomes always asked for the best part of the treasure every time they asked for their anual fee. One of those great treasures was The Red Eye of Dorgarakth(which story i'll tell later on)...."Anyway one day one of the gnomes started a revolution. He considered that his race had been stealing from the dwafes for many centuries. By the time they tried to stop him, he had convinced most of the dwarves. Most of the gnomes were killed and in result the great magic that keep the dark forces out was taken away. The dark forces(both outsiders and from underground), get in and slaughtered all the dwarves and the rest of the gnomes. That's why you felt uncorfortable Akidilwen, this place is curse by evil. I hope that our precense be undetected, or we could be in serious trouble....

"What happen to the gnome that started the revolution?",asked Neothen.
"Some say he worked for the dark side,"said Bouk with a sad look,"but i believe otherwise. I knew him when he was still young and arrogant. Truth, maybe he was a little violent and proud, but he wasn't a bad person. I think that he wanted a better kingdom for the dwarves and his people, but instead of that he brought the distruction of both races...."
"So is he dead?"asked Dimlondewen.
"I am afraid i cannot answer that .i simply don't know. We'll see".Bouk suddenlly stopped and sit down,"i think we ought to take a rest. We've been walking for almost 7 hours now. We'll continue tomorrow."
"So how long we'll be in this tunnel?",asked Dimlondewen.
"It depends,"said Bouk
"Of what?"
"On how well i remember the way to get out of here"
"That means that we could be here for days?
"Even weeks, maybe a month."
"Oh my God!"
"Well is better than to die here, or get lost in here without a proper guide."they all agreeded to that.
"For now, let's get some sleep. Who will make the first guard?"

"The Dwarf's Treasure is much more than just the Red Eye of Dorgarakth,"said Bouk smiling,"but i must said is one of the most valuable pieces. "Bouk sighted, he probably wouldn't get any sleep that night."More than five hundred years ago, the great mage Bankeinoth(the master of the treasure), discovered an amazing thing. The guardian of The Lost Treasure was a great big rock in the form of a dragon. A legend said that many centuries ago a great dragon named Dorgarakth gived his soul to a powerfull elf in exchange for the protection of this homeland.The elf casted a spell on the dragon and made him an eternal guardian making him a magic rock that would always have the power to bring good to this land. For centuries the power of the magic lasted. But one day one of the eyes of Dorgarakth was stolen. Nobody knew how, but it was. The evil plagued this land years after that. Everybody had give up hope, but Bankeinoth saw it much further. By the power of his magic he came to the conclusion that the Red Eye was in one of this mountains. He didn't had any idea of how did it get there, but he just knew it was there. He tried to talk to the dwarves, but they never listened to him. Years after that he made the enchantment of the Chosen One. Someone with several characteristics that would save this land from evil(Beth in my opinion is the Chosen One), and then Bankeinoth dissappeared. Never to be seen again. A few centuries later The Red Eye was found in these mines. The dwarves only saw it like the biggest rubie they ever seen, but the gnomes knew its importance. They tried to hide it, until the Chosen One appeared. The king trusted me and the king of the dryads with the mission of searching this particular person. But in these two centuries we could never found it. And before we could do anything this mountain was cursed by evil too. Both the king and i gave up the searching, for we thought everything was lost. But now that i have seen Beth, my hopes are up again, and i think the evil has his days counted......"

Bouk tried to open it up, but he couldn't. They all pushed the door but couldn't moved. Bouk and Neothen tried some enchantments, but none worked. "I think that is our problem,"said Bouk pointing to a sculture of an elephant head that was at the right side of the door. However this elephant head had no trunk."The trunk is the key,"explained Bouk. They all searched for it all around and Beth find it. Dimlondewen put the trunk in the head, it fitted perfectly. Then she pulled up, and the gate opened. They all went inside with fear in their hearts, but prepared for anything. The door behind them closed violently. Everyone turned around and try to reopened but couldn't. There was another elephant head at the left of the door. But once again without a trunk. They all faced the strange room. It was not very big, but not very small either. There wasn't other exit that the entrance door.
"This must have been somekind of prison or something like that,"said Bouk. He looked around and the others did the same. The room was full of shields, and weapons and bodies of all sort: orcs, dwarfes and even gnomes. The putrifying smell filled the room. The most strange thing were that the walls of the room was full of halls, big halls like if some big rats had made tunnels all around. Bouk recognized inmediatly.
"Everybody quick arm yourselves,"said Bouk, his voice was filled with fear. "Beth look for the trunk fast, go."
"In all this?"said Beth,"how am i going to find it?
"Don't ask, just do it"said Bouk with a hard voice. Then a loud growl sounded in all the room. It came from one of the halls,then from another, and then another. Before they could realize it, the noise was coming from all of the halls, and it seemed to get closer.
"Fernacs,"explained Bouk,"they are large green beasts(the size of a big dog) that feed upon the putrid flesh. Most of them live underground, they must have made the tunnels when the magic was taken away..." After saying these words horrible green beasts came out of the halls growling. They looked like large dogs but they were different and their sking was putrified. However they had large teeth and an inmense appetite.There were many of them,close to forty. They jumped to the ground getting close to the company from all around. They loved fresh prays. " Look out for their bites,"said Bouk ,sword in hand,"one bite is venonous enough to kill a large bear in a matter of minutes. Beth find that trunk, we'll protect you." The fernacs started to circle the company, and some of them started to attack,.....

Akidilwen was useing a bow, Neothen was casting spells and Bouk and Dimlondowen were useing swords. Beth was huring around the room while Bouk protected her from the fernacs. "We have to close the hole from were they are coming from! Or else more will just keep on coming! Neothen, can you cast a spell to block that hole? " Dimlondowen asked Neothen pointing to the hole were the fernacs were coming from.

"I'll try!" Neothen yelled runing to the hole. He raised his hands infront of the hole and shot fire through it. Then Neothen glazed the hole with a white forcefield. Then he turned to one of the creatures. Neothen took out his wand and extened it to six feet. He then wacked and at the creatures and fired at them.

All the fernacs that had lived were behind the forcefield. Beth was still running around the room looking for the trunk. "Hurry, the forcefield won't hold for long!" said Neothen. Then Beth came out of behind a huge rock screaming "I've found it! I've found it!"
They put the trunk in place and entered the open door. As the first door had done, it closed behind them. When the door closed it let no light enter the room, it was very dark. Neothen used his magic to make flames come out of his hand. Then continued their jorney in the semi-dark, not knowing what was ahead.

''Let's hope we don't run into another of these trap tunnels,"said Bouk, after a while of walking.. "I am sorry for that, i should have known better...''said Bouk angry now. The truth was that Bouk felt very responsible for all the company. Because he was the guide in these dark places the company had put their trust in him, and Bouk knew that trust is not a thing that you give to anybody. He hoped that they wouldn't lost their trust in him, and that they continue with him all the way... After more than an hour of walking the road divided into four tunnels. Bouk remembered that the second tunnel from left to right, conducted to the great Silver Hall. However he didn't felt so sure to take that way, The Silver Hall was full of rooms and it was almost in the middle of the mountain. That means that probably the danger was further much worse than any other tunnel they would take. But then again Bouk only remembered that path to get to The Temple of the Gnomes....Bouk sighted after a while of thinking and then he pointed to the second hall. "Let's hope we are prepared for this,''he said with a low voice...

"That's what i was afraid of.."said Bouk with a low whisper. Bouk wasn't very happy with the traps, true he remembered the road a little bit well, but about the traps he wasn't so sure. "Maybe is better if we take another path", thought Bouk , but he knew that was impossible. He didn't knew another way around. Then he saw them.... The saloom of the Gargols. This was another part of the traps of the Silver Hall. It consisted in a large road that had large colums at each side, left and right. Each of the columns had one different gargol. There was 24 colums in total. Twelve right, and twelve left. Each of the gargols were different, and their eyes seemed so real that you would say they were alive.
"Nobody move", said Bouk with a loud scream that scared everybody...
"What's the matter Bouk?"asked Beth
"I didn't remember this untill I saw it just now. Dwarfes and other creatures used to play this little game back then. It was invented by the gnomes.I never tried, but i have seened do it and i can tell you is not piece of cake.....There are at least 12 feet between every gargol, they are all different traps of every kind. We cannot destroy them, or harm them, or go around them...
"Why not?", asked Neothen
"You see the first two gargols?, asked Bouk. Everybody look at it. The two statues seemed to have some sort of magic in them, and they're arms were signaling the long road, like inviting them to play the game."They are the masters of the game...."explained Bouk,"they invite you to play the minute you step in front of this road, if we go around it we'll all die within the minute. The gnomes were the only ones that knew how to control the masters, but now that they're gone, we'll have to play the game..."Bouk sighted and stepped forward..
"Do you know how to play? "asked beth with a voice.
"I remember something about the rules, the rest will come to me,"Bouk stepped inside the road. They all followed him but he stopped them.
"Stay where you are, and don't advance untill i say so. Maybe some of us can pass the traps, maybe some of us can't....We'll see."Bouk was really worried now, and he knew that there was no way back. They had to face the game and win it, or the contrary they would drop dead. These were the rules of this game. Bouk advanced into the second two gargoles. He looked at them. Both gargols had normal bows with arrows. They were ready to shoot, and they seemed very concentrated in what they were doing. Bouk recognized the first game.
"Wind,"he said,"all right who is the best avoiding arrows?"he asked the company.
"What do you mean by that?"asked Alkidilwen
"One of us will have to stand in the middle of the two gargols-archers. They will both shoot at the same time to the contestant that stand between them. There can't be no magic use. If the contestant is quick and good enough he will catch the two arrows in flight before they even touch him." They all looked at each other horrified."Well,"asked Bouk,"who wants to be the first?

"I will..." Said Dimlondowen. She steped forward, nothing happened. Then the two arrows came out at her, she caught both, but after she caught the second it made a cut on her hand. Nothing happend to them, they had passed the first part of the game, 5 to go.
Where the arrow had cut her hand it as beging to swell. "Careful, don't let their weapons touch you. They are all poisoned, I'll be alright. " She said wraping her hand in a piece of cloth.

Bouk looked relieved. He had been a little scared that Dimlondewen wouldn't make it. At least the first test had been passed. They all looked to the other statues. The two third statues had yellow eyes and heat could be felt coming from their mouths.
"Fire,"said Bouk sadly,"Neothen i think you are up next. How good are you holding the heat of the flames? You'll have to stand in the middle and hold the flames they throw at you...... They'll decide when to stop, if you are good enough..." Bouk sounded worried.

Neothen agreed and stood in the middle of the two statues. He coated his hands with a sheet of ice to ease the pain. Suddenly two fire balls shot from the gargoils mouth. Neothen caught the flames and held them loosly. His past training with endering the pain of fire and magic would pay off for him. The eyes of the statues seemed to taunt him as the flames burnt through the ice. Pain struck hard at his palms but the only sign was drops of sweat running down Neothen's face. The fire got hotter as it got closer to his skin starting to dry and peal his layers. The flames suddenly vanished but his hands were deep red and his skin began to peal. Neothen stepped back useing his magic to heal his hands. But his hands became white and fragile needing time to regain their color and strength.

They moved to the nex pair of statues. Bouk recognized inmediatly and this time he felt bad about playing this game. The two statues seemed to be in a mood for a pleasant conversation. It seemed like they were inviting you to have a little chat with them. Bouk sighted, this would be difficult for them. Specially for him.
"Sacrifice", said Bouk,"that's the next test."
"What?", said Alkidiwen,"you mean one of us has to die...."
"No, no,"said Bouk,"the statues demand that one of us stay in their realm. That way the game will become much more exciting. One of us has to stay behind. The rest of the contestants will have to face the next test by themselves."
"Then I'll do it", said Beth stepping forward, but Bouk stopped her.
"This test is for me only,"he said,"and is not because i want to give my life for any of you(i am not that crazy). It's because the gargols will accept only the guide as the sacrifice. You see, that way the next test will be more exciting without someone guiding you."
"But why does it have to be you? Why not any of us?", asked Neothen.
"That is exactly the test. That you face the next trap without someone to tell you. The next test I remember is Greed. You'll figure it out. Don't worry."After those words Bouk stood between the two gargols.
"It will be fine,"he said smiling at the time that he transformed in stone. They were all got scared. But that was exactly the game, if they make it to the next test Bouk will return to normal. If not he will be stone forever. The walked beside him. Bouk looked like a live statue. They looked to the next gargoles. One was white and the other was red. But each had a precious stone in their hands. THe red one had a huge diamond in her hands(as big as a man's head), and the white one had a huge rubi(same size). Both gargols were looking at each other with hate. The company stopped to ask themselves what was the trick of this strange trap.....

Just then Bouk appeared. "Woosh... Thank you so much guys, I thought i would be rock forever. Don't be afraid the next and last trap will be easy. It's call "friend of the dwarves". And it simply means that if your intentions are good toward the dwarves you'll pass. However i saw some humans, gnomes, and even dwarves loose to this test, but i don't think we'll have a problem." After saying these words Bouk passed the two statues. There wasn't even a movement. The gargols made no sound.
"Common,"said Bouk. Beth tried to go next, but before she stepped between the two gargols, a small shadow passed the two statues. It was so fast no one saw it. Not even Bouk.And a second later the gargols made a loud long growl that sounded in all the mountain. They all stayed petrified. Then there was a rumble noise coming from every where, and they also started to hear screams and howls. Then orcs, licantropus and other creatures started to come out of the halls and to came from the tunnels. They started to come from everywhere.
"Quicly, we have to hide,'said bouk at the time he started to run, the others followed him....

Bouk remembered that there was somekind of secret entrance here, but his thoughts were interrupted with the howls of the orcs coming into the room. All the company armed, and started defending from the attackers. Bouk pulled out his sword one more time, and stood in front of Beth protecting her from the orcs that were coming in dozens.....

Akidilwen used her bow, Dimlondowen used her sword. "Bouk! You beter find the secret entrance quickly, the orc are coming quicker!"

Neothen flew down to the stone floor and turned into his human form. He then unsheathed his sword and charged into the oncoming orcs.

"How can i find the secret door with dozens of orcs attacking us?"said Bouk at the time he tried to defend from the orcs. Bouk swinged his sword killing and hurting orcs everytime he could. He used his staff to stop incoming swords, and daggers. And also to shoot green bolts toward an orc every time he could. Then he said,"The doors of the room has been destroyed, we have to find a way to block them first......."

Neothen got into the middle of the company and cast a force field of white light infront of the orcs. "I can't hold this long it's to much stress....Hurry!" Neothen was sweating hard now and he was getting tired fast.

Dimlondowen moved closer to Beth so that Bouk could look for the passage without worring about her.

Bouk did the best he could to find the secret tunnel. He was sure it was one of the animal statues in the room. He tried the snake, but it didn't worked, he tried the elephant but it didn't worked either. "Damn it,"said Bouk and hit the tiger statue. The company was lucky, because this was the right statue. The tiger head opened the mouth, and a momment later a part of the wall opened.
"Move!!"said bouk pointing to the tunnel at the time he went to help Neothen who was had almost fainted. " Beth help Neothen get up, Alkidiwen and Dimlondewen let's cover them,"after saying this the light field dissapeared and the orcs attacked for the second time.......
