Finally gotten my act together so here for your delectation is the Official Brothers in Heart OOC Discussion Thread. Below I've included a small extract from Tolkien's Tale of Years so that everyone can get an idea of where and when we are.
SA 3320: Foundation of the Realms in Exile. The stones are divided. Sauron returns to Mordor.
SA 3429: Sauron attacks Minas Ithil and burns the white tree. Isildur escapes down the Anduin and goes to Elendil in the North.
SA 3430: The Last Alliance formed.
SA 3431: Gil-galad and Elendil march east to Imladris.
SA 3434: The host of the Alliance crosses the Misty Mountains. Battle of Dagorlad and defeat of Sauron. The Seige of Barad-dûr begins.
SA 3440:Anárion slain.
SA 3441: Sauron overthrown.
The time is of now SA 3431, and as you can see we've got a three year sojourn in Rivendell ahead of us, which is when the RP will begin proper. I will also include some quotes on Númenórean Battle Tactics later so that we'll at least have some chance when Sauron's Sea of Evil crashes over us (well that's my excuse anyways)... might even post a little map in which we can keep track of our journeys in fancy red pens... oooh!
