Rasec

That night, Rasec did not sleep well. He was still very sad about leaving some of his friends, specially Celebrien. He did not speak a word while he was in watch with him. But he could feel Celebrien also had his heart heavy inside. Then, when morning came, they parted quickly, and Rasec said to Celebrien:
- Farewell, my friend. May the light of your eyes be an aid in the darkness. And may the touch of your hand be a blessed heal. I gift you the Silver Brooch of Grey Havens. It was made by my grandfather and granted to me when my father died. It means so much to me, but now it is yours. It has no magic power, but the power of the heart goes stronger when you wear it. Namarië!
Then the company going eastwards swiftly rode away. And rasec cried.

OOC: Hooray- We beat the Rhun Company ;)
IC: As the Harad Company neared Rivendell, Chokang put his hand into his pocket, and looked at Alatar's Ring that he had salvaged from collapsing halls of Alatar's Fortress.
"Such a powerful ring," he muttered to himself, "I'm sure that Glorfindel will know what to do with it."
Chokang looked towards the East, seeing no sign of the Rhun Company. The Misty Mountains dominated the horizon, and the Dwarf was glad that they had returned to Rivendell via the Gap of Rohan.
"Do you think they have already returned?" he asked Celebrien.
"Most likely not," Celebrien frowned, "They had the longer journey to travel, and I doubt we shall see them for some days yet."

Glarin, cousin of Glorfindel, was sitting deep in thought in Rivendell with Chokang, Celebrien, and Phenix beside him. His cousin had not returned, and him and the others were very worried about him and his company. He had been told all about his cousin's death and return as Glorfindel the White by the company that had recently returned, and had deemed him unstoppable now. But even so, Glarin could not help but feel worried. After 2 weeks had passed since the arrival of the company from Harad, Glarin worried that the company to Rhun had perished, and he told the people of Rivendell to prepare to set out for the Havens, and that it was now time for the last ship to leave Middle-Earth.
However, one day before the Elves of Rivendell were to leave, a message arrived via falcon. Phenix recognized the bird and exclaimed, "That is the falcon of Rasec the Dawnstar! Let us hope that it bears good news." Glarin removed the letter from the falcon's talon, and then unrolled it and read aloud, "Glarin, cousin of Glorfindel, Lord of Rivendell, I send you good news. Pallando has been destroyed, Aiwendil and Glorfindel the White fought a difficult battle that brought both of them close to death, but in the end they were victorious. Pallando shall never again trouble Middle-Earth, the last servants of Sauron the Deciever are now gone. As for the fates of our company, they are as follows:
Glorfindel and Aiwendil, after having defeated Pallando, were absolved in a light that glowed from their own bodies, and they vanished and went to Valinor, and never again will they return to Middle-Earth. Bethelarien and Isal Celebalda rode off together, in love, to Isal's homeland. Charmiana returned to her home in Mirkwood, now Greenwood the Great once again. Earendil has gone to the south, to dwell in the land of Lindon with her people. Emowyn has returned to his home in Rohan, where he shall be honored for what he has done for Middle-Earth. And I, Rasec son of Glorfindel, am now dwelling in Lothlorien, with my beloved mother, whom I was separated from long ago. Tell the others to return to their homes for now, until in the near future those of the Elven race will be called on again, and given their last chance to leave the lands of Middle-Earth. For at that time, when they are called once more, the last ship shall set sail, with Cirdan the Shipwright on board, and never again will anyone leave Middle-Earth. Farewell for now my friends!
Rasec Dawnstar"
"Middle-Earth is free now my friends," Glarin told the others, "now return to your homes if you wish, or if you would like to you are welcome to stay here until the last ship sets sail. But whatever you choose, I wish you well wherever your feet take you, for the rest of your days."
5 years later, Glarin sent envoys out to all of the Elven-Kingdoms left in Middle-Earth, telling them to come to the Havens now, for the last ship is leaving, and he told them they had just 6 Months to arrive their. After 6 months had passed, all that were leaving were assembled on the shores of the Grey Havens, with a great fleet of ships in the harbor. And the Kings of Gondor and Rohan were there as well, to bid them good-bye. The Elves loaded up the ships and got on board, and then Cirdan said some final words on the shore.
" I have lived in the land of Middle-Earth through 4 different ages. I have seen many things great and wonderful and terrible. It is now time for me to leave these lands forever, farewell Middle-Earth, my time has passed, and the time for the dominion of men is truly here, may they take good care and treat these lands with love and respect, as the elves have throughout the ages. Once again, good-bye!!" And with that the last ship left Middle-Earth, and the Eldar were no more.
Then the Kings of Gondor and Rohan yelled out in loud voices, "Farewell, children of the Firstborn!! Until the final battle, when we shall meet again, farewell!!!" And then they turned away and rode off into the darkness together. The time for the rule of men, had truly come at last.
