OK, I'm starting a new story that anyone can continue on how he likes, BUT IT MUST BE RELATED TO MIDDLE EARTH!


" Aragorn, son of Arathorn, looked out over the white city, its rebuilt walls gleaming in the sun. It had thrived since the destruction of the Dark Lord, and the vanquishing of Mordor, But now their was another evil come again to challenge the might of men, though Aragorn did not have full knowledge of it. His gaze strayed north, across the open lands of Rohan, and there he saw...."

I looked out. after the destruction of the dark lord, and of moria I felt evil had vanquished, but something had risin in the west. In Mirkwood, I Masamune, cousin of Legolas, stood on a high rock standing watch against this new evil. I walked off of the ledge, and entered the forest, the trees seemed to whistle, I turned back. My eyes grew large, and in my fear my bow dropped, it was comming..

"Aragorn wondered how a new evil could possibly have crept into Middle-Earth without his knowledge. But the expanses of Mirkwood were vast, and it was difficult to detect darkness there, hidden away. But now he sensed a change. The evil was no longer hidden, but was revealing itself."


"Aragorn prayed that the scouts he had sent from Rohan would report back soon, too identify this new power."

[Masamune]

The darkness crept closer, almost not moving, and still it came. it finally made it to me, consuming me. the darkness enterd my mind, almost controling me. In a second it was gone, I turned to my left and right, and saw nothing, I looked to my back, and to my front and still I saw nothing.
"I will make for Rivendelle, there Elrond can council me."
I picked up my weapon, and walked to the village of Mirkwood, I would have to discuss this to the council there, they could give me a pass to enter Gondor then to Rivendelle.

The next day Aragorn was once again gazing north, looking for some sign or token, when a great horn was blow form the watch tower. Heraing it, hope leaped inside his heart, and as gazed even more sharply, he saw a single rider, making his way in great haste towards the wals of Gondor.

Hmm, thought Aragorn. This bids ill news. I sent out four riders, and yet only one returns.

[Masamune]

I looked around Mirkwood, I hadn't seen any of the elves out, no shops, no one visiting..I went up to the council's office, and opend the door.
"Hello, there is somthing growing, something comming from the west.
I would like to discuss it with Master Legolas, but with your permission, I would like a pass to enter Gondor, there I can pass freely, to enter Rivendelle, I can consult with Elrond, and maybe find some warriors to fight this evil.
"Masamune, your will is strong, and in this your heart is pure. We shall grant you a pass to enter Gondor, but whyll your there, stop in Rohan, there you may find someone who can help you through this evil."
I nodded, I went to my house to wish off Legolas and gather some supplies for my journey, when I was ready I went to the gates of Mirkwood, and left for the plains.

Aragorn was summoned to A Council of Elrond, He rode there swiftly. For some reason he knew he must get there before it is too late...

[Masamune]

I rode into the plains hard, I called upon my horse to ride harder, yet still I wished to go faster, I gripped the reins, and saw the sun started to set, so I jumped off my horse and made camp. I would make it to Gondor tomorrow, or maybe in a couple of hours.

Aragorn rode silently... There was someone or something following him. He noticed a dark shadow in the sky and utter terror befell him. He could not speak something, was behind him...! He finally managed to yell out but no one was there to hear his strangled cry, except the darkness, it was near him, around him, and Alas! It slowly filled him...

[Masamune]

I sat up. The sky was dark, and I knew something was near.
"It's not safe now."
I raised up, I put my supplies up, and jumped onto my horse.
If I made it to Gondor tonight I could be safe.
"I must make it!"

I rode hard, never once looking back, though I knew something was there, and it was ever watchful.

[Aulë]

*Chokang, son of Dwalin looked to the east, as he stood on the ruins of Amon Sul. He had been sent to Ered Luin by his father from his home in the Iron Hills, to deliver a message to the dwarven king. Now, his task complete, he was planning on stopping by at Rivendell for a brief rest before crossing the Misty Mountains.*

*In the distance, he could sense a darkness looming, darkening the sky past the mountains.*

"Hmmm, all does not seem well," I said to myself, "Maybe the elves will be able to enlighten me on what is happening afar."


OOC: One thing confuses me about all this- If Aragorn is king, doesn't that mean that Elrond has left ME?

The evil had filled Aragorn he was as awful as any orc now, but he did not show it. He had to find out Elrond's plans and bring them to his Master, the new evil... He began riding with full speed towards Rivendell looming in front of the horizon...

[Aulë]

*As Chokang rode up to Rivendell on his pony, Moja, he noticed a large contingient of elvish archers marching south. After entering the fair city, Chokang rode up to one of the elves.*

"Excuse me, but what is happening? Yesterday I sensed a darkness consuming the east, and now I see elven archers marching southwards. Has Sauron risen again?"

"Nay, it appears that another evil has arisen, not Sauron. The fair dwelling of Lothlorien has called for assistance, for orcs have reappeared, and are gaining ground on the Lothlorien defences. Celeborn has called on Elrond to send archers to his aid!"

[Aragorn12345]

Aragorn reached the secret valley of Rivendell, there were no elves in sight... The abandoned village made Aragorn feel triumph... His master had already brainwashed the elves, they were all at the council... falling into his trap!!!!!

[Aulë]

*As Chokang was leaving Rivendell, he noticed someone hidden in the trees, and it didn't take him long to recognise him.*

"Greetings Aragorn, son of Arathorn; Chokang, at your service," stated Chokang, "What are you doing in these parts? And what are you doing in those trees? There are no enemies near the fair Rivendell..."

"Are you sure about there not being any enemies near Rivendell?"
Aragorn asked as if in a trance. Aragorn jerked suddenly out of his trance and replied "I'm here for The Council Of Elrond, Chokang, apparently there is a new evil unknown to us , come with me, we'll go see Elrond." Chokang was hesitant, he had never seen that angry red gleam in Aragorn's eye.
''Is there anything bothering you Aragorn?" Chokang asked.
Suddenly Aragorn keeled over like he was going to vomit, a thick green fog filled the air and a foul smell reached Chokang's nostrils. Aragorn stood up again and said " There was evil in me, I have overcome it, it has gone to find another, person to possess. We must make haste to The Council of Elrond." And with that they both ran towards the last homely house. Little did Aragorn know, the reason the evil left was because of his strong will power, nor did he know that the evil had possessed Chkang, in fact Chokang didn't know he was possessed himself...

Masamune rose suddenly. He was maybe four leagues away from Lothlorien, he looked out, and saw two strangers standing in the brush, unknowing of their status, if they were friend or foe, he slowly rose, drew his bow, and walked silently behind the trees. He made his way behind them, without being seen he rose up fast and loaded five arrows in his bow.

"What is thou streaming in the midst of all this evil, ally or beast, for thine arrow shalt shatter thy soul if thou hold strong to the darkness."

masamune waited for a reply, though he felt they had goodness.

"If thy is making Lothlorien with the elves of old than follow me, for I have consulted with Master Elrond, and he hast spoken of an evil that hast no name, for it has consumed Mirkwood..and I am sure it will take the land of men next."

"I am Masamune...for is thyne to aid Lorien?"

Chokang and Aragorn walked to the beautiful Elaborately decorated house--Elrond's house

Masamune lowered his bow and ran with the two to Elrond's house. He bowed before him, and spoke the elven words, "Hae'lot'liorkiamin." Or in the mortal toungue...Blessings from Mirkwood.
Elrond nodded, and Masamune looked at the other two figures.
"You haven't answered my question..."
He looked back at Elrond, "Mu'kdlion'w'Mirkwood."
Or, "The king has sent forth Archers to aid Lorion from Mirkwood."
He put away his weapon and rose from his feet. He looked at the two men and Elrond.
"I am to Lorion." He said, and walked out of the house contintly.
Though...he would have stopped going to Lorien if a quest lay before him...

Everyone sat with their eyes focused on Elrond the Council was about to begin.
" Geetings, people from many lands,'' Elrond began, ''Many have come to me to discuss the unseen force that flies through the breeze and fills our heart with evil and dread. I do not know what this force is but I know that it will posess people, I am simply guessing, but I think it is..." Elrond was interupted as a piercing cry peirced the night, even the bravest warriors trembled... Suspicion formed in the air, pretty soon men were drawing there swords... No one even noticed there was a figure in the shadows with his bow ready, aimed at Aragorn the King's back... The hair on Aragorn's back pricked up he swung around sword glinting...
"Chokang????" Aragorn said. Chokang's eyes looked evil, Chokang let out a peircing cry... Chokang's bow twanged, the arrow sprang from it, staight at Aragorn's heart... But Masursame was quick...

Masamune began to walk out, when he heard the cry, he spung around, while he turned his bow was already out and loaded with five arrows.
His keen elven sight allowed him to see clearear into darkness and he picked up the figure of chokang. The arrow shot fast, he shot three of the arrows at the arrow going for Aragorn. The Arrow's hit the one arrow, and the all fell the the ground.
He still had his bow and two arrows drawn.

"Give the word sire, and I'll seice him..."

His eyes were squinted and his fingers firm on the bow.

After failing to strike his target with his bow, Chokang pulled out his battle axe, and charged at Aragorn.

[Masamune]

OOC: I never left for lorion yet..

Masamune sheathed his bow at once and yelled at Aragorn.

He pulled out his sword, and charged at Chokang.

"LOOK ARAGORN!"
He put his sword out and slashed it at the battle axe.

"COME FOR ME FIRST!!!"

errr, the "imposter" is the person who started this RPG....:)

IC:
The unexpected attack from Masamune knocked the battle axe out of Chokang's hand, but it was only a matter of milliseconds before Chokang had withdrawn his bearded axe. He took a wild swing at Aragorn, but Aragorn was too quick, and hit Chokang in the head with the handle of his sword, knocking him unconcious. The dark shadow left Chokang, and was drifting towards another victim, when Elrond sensed its presence....

[Masamune]

Masamune drew his sword, and held it to Chokang's neck.

he closed his eyes, and began to speak an elven chant.

"Neo'lioniariopar'a" The darkness formed into physical shape through the spell, though it left chokang, it's presence was now right in front of us.

[Aragorn12345]

Masamune chanted his eyes fixed on the evil.Masamune's chant trailed off... no one could speak, the shadow was grinding their brains, causing them to tremble, Aragorn glinting sword glowed crimson.
Then pitch blackness, nothing could be seen... Fear, was in the hearts of the bravest men... Little did they know this was the beginning of what was yet to come... Just the beggining...

Chokang lay on the ground, still unconcious....

[Wonko The Sane]

*A puff of smoke materialised in the gloom next to Chokang's supine body. A vision in a white gown, with shimmering long white hair bent over the fallen dwarf. Arianne the White Elf had come. She turned and looked at Masamune.*

"Your game is over. Without Elvish medicine he will die." *She looked at the unconcious dwarf, her violet eyes flashing. She held her hands over his pale face. Blood began to slowly seep back into his wounds, color returned to his grim visage, and his heartbeat quickened. His eyes fluttered open.*

Chokang wasn't aware of what had just gone on, he sat up looked at the white elf, rolled over, and went to sleep with a smile on his face. Elrond assigned two dwarves (He assigned Gimili and a dwarf named Starglazed to take Chokang to a guest room.) Elrond looked at everyone and said, "I do believe the evil has left this room, but it will be back..."
Funny, Aragorn thought, Gimili, Starglazed and Chokang had left the room, and Elrond said the evil had too, after they left.
I think I should inform Masamune, him and I could do a little investigating...

Arianne looked at Aragorn coldly, her white hair shimmering in the light, her white cloak hood framing her fair face. She narrowed her eyes a bit.

"Do not mistrust the dwarves. Do not stray from your chosen path. One misplaced fear, one eye turned in the wrong direction will lead you astray. This is what the evil wants. He preys on discord. He thrives on malice and fear. You must focus on the task at hand. The dwarves are not your enemy."

"I'm sorry my dear lady, I didnt mean to offend you in any way, please forgive me, I am at your service eternally. I just feel so frustrated, what do we do about the matter at hand?"

"Arianne, you have my sword, and my word that I will not sling false accusations around like a child, the dwarves are innocent." Aragorn bowed down low to the graceful lady, he was trembling.

[Wonko The Sane]

Arianne bowed her head slightly, signalling Aragorn to rise.

"Aragorn, you are the one true king and I would never have you bow before me. It is not I that need your sword but this quest. And to that I will devote myself as well. I have lived long, and as an elf will live much longer, but never before have I seen a trial this great. We must make haste and plot our course. We must decide what is to be done. Please, share with us your insights into this matter."

"You are right, the longer we wait the more danger we are in, the question is what is this evil force, we must know what it is before we make a plan." said Aragorn.
Elrond sat silently his brow furrowed. Presently he spoke, " If I am am correct there should be a book in my library of ancient monsters, fetch if for me Thirish" (he said this motioning to a young dwarf.)
The dwarf plodded out of the room, and came back a few minutes later with a bloodred book. He read,

"Wait" Aragorn cried before Elrond could read... "Something is happening to Arianne!!!" Indeed something was the white elf's skin was beggining to turn gray...

Arianne stopped dead still, holding out her hands as the grey color seeped slowly from fingertips up her long, slender arms. Her face turned pallid and the grey color slid down her neck, covering her chest and torso.

Arianne turned to Elrond.

"Thindolfin" She cried out!

"Somebody in this room carries the Thindolfin!!!"
