Here is the official TTT theater poster. (http://lordoftherings.net/index_features_poster.html)

is anyone else a tad bit upset/enraged to see arwen as a major person on the poster? im sorry, but it upsetted me.

I was upset a bit too. After all, her role can never be very important or they must have completely changed the story. I think the hobbits should have deserved a greater part of the poster.

*sigh* shes not even IN the book. thats what gets me mad. if she were actually in the book even a bit, i wouldnt mind nearly so much

I'm both upset and enraged about Arwen's inclusion on the poster. I could except her being on the first poster but enough’s enough. A more fitting character could have taken her place. Apart from that I really like the poster though.

She's is bigger than Eowyn, bigger than Saruman. She's not that important in the second book(actually they don't even mention her name).

I too was a little surprised to see that Arwen has such a place of prominence on the poster, however I don't think she has a bigger role in the film due to the size of her pic. I have seen the trailer and counted the number of scenes that they show Arwen in and the number of scenes that they show Eowyn in. Eowyn shows up a lot more than Arwen does. Arwen was in large prominence on the first poster even though she was only in about 15 minutes of the film. So don't panic.

Does anyone like me feel let down by this poster in general. It's no where near as good as the final Fellowship poster.:( how sad

I saw some more TTT posters and Arwen is only in one of them(much better).

Wow, these are beautiful, especially the Gandalf and Frodo posters. I don't think Arwen will play a great role in the movie, because in the audio comments on the DVD I heard Fran Walsh say that Aragorn and Arwen wouldn't see each other for a long time. So I think her appearance wil be quite limited. But then it's not fair to the other characters (especially the hobbits), who are more important, that they have such a small role on the poster.

Agreed. :)

I'd like to have seen Eowyn featuring more prominently in the poster, but I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.

Actually, I much prefer the poster that just has one tower in the foreground, and the other in the background. No one's faces cluttering it up at all. I've loved that poster since I first saw it.

Just a note about Arwen, they have chaned the story slightly. I've heard somewhere that there might be some romantic scenes between Aragorn and Arwen, so that may be why she's up there.

I personally like the first TTT teaser poster With Orthanc and Barad-Dûr better.

I agree with Flame. That poster is more intriguing and mysterious than the official final poster. The newest one isn't nearly as artistic as the final fellowship poster even though I do like it.

Dito, that poster is nice IMHO the best of all of the TTT campaing. Lets hope the 'offical' poster doesnt affect business.
