Have you noticed that in the FOTR-movie, the eye of Sauron is round, and they have changed its shape in the TTT, as it can be seen in the trailer?
Here's how it looked when Frodo saw it in the Mirror of Galadriel (FOTR)

And here's how it is in the TTT.
Have you noticed any other similar differences with other things/creatures/people etc...?

Ah yes Lhunithiliel...The eye changes.
This here is the way PJ wants it to look in ROTK. We must not let him get away with it! :D :D :D
;) ;)
I deleted my previous post because I was having trouble attaching the smaller version. But here it is again smaller.

Talking of Eyes Of Sauron, think of the one from that cartoon. It was a kailaedoscope, which, by the way, I know I have spelled wrong! Gimme a kailida-wotsit over a burning apparition any day

I liked the old one better. Anyway, PJ said in the DVD comment that Gollum was going to look different from how he looked in FOTR, because they had since then found better ways of portraying him or something.

And IMO, they have changed Morannon too.
Here's how it looked in the FOTR

And here how it looks in the TTT.
BTW, I have chaged the name of the thread :) as it would be nice to chat about such differences, wouldn't it be?

But the first picture of the Nazgul you showed wasn't the Morannon, but Minas Morgul. So that's no surprise if they're not the same...
...the Tower of Barad-Dur? I assume (from the book) that Gollum was examined in Barad-Dur, and that when he "dropped a dime" on Baggins/Shire, the Nazgul issued out from Barad-Dur to retrieve the Ring. At least, that's the sense of it I got from the movie... didn't Minas Morgul have some kind of weird glow to it?
Cheers,
Orm
Yes it had a nice glow.
PJ actually stated in the commentary that the Nazgul were riding out of Minas Morgul (something to the effect of -- "people don't realize, but that's not actually Barad Dur - that's another tower called Minas Morgul").
Thanks for the heads up Nom:
Here's the lines from the script:
Saruman:
The hour is later than you think. Sauron's forces are already moving. The nine have left Minas Morgul.
Gandalf:
(whispers)The Nine?
Saruman:
They crossed the river Isen on Midsummer's Eve, disguised as riders in black.

Orm, thanks for the link to the script transcription! I plan to check that in the future. Even after repeated viewings of my TFOTR video, I still can't make out a few lines of dialogue.
