Any thoughts on how Sam is going to put on the Ring in Mordor (unless they just let him run around without being noticed by orcs without it)?
This seems simple enough, Sam puts on the ring when he just enters Mordor, and when he is following the Orcs that are carrying Frodo... BUT in the fellowship of the ring movie, every time Frodo puts on the ring, the Eye is watching him. And if Sauron knew where Sam was at, and knew that he was "just" a hobbit, things would of gone bad in a real hurry... So if anyone has any theories regarding how Sam is going to use the ring in Mordor, I would like to hear them. :)

I never thought of the eye actually seeing Frodo, more like searching. In the books Frodo saw the eye in the dark tower searching the lands a few times, Amon Hen is probably the one that most comes to mind.
I know that in Bree Sauron says You cannot hide, i see you, but i think he is only bluffing. Atleast i hope he is, or Sam is gonna be in big trouble. :D

Mithlond is right. The eye does not see Frodo, but Frodo can see the eye, which of course isn't a comfortable sight. That's why Frodo was in such a hurry to get the ring off at the prancing pony.

I think that in the movie version of the FOTR, Sauron's eye does see Frodo.
Keep in mind that PJ changed a few things in the story.
Furthermore, right after the Prancing Pony scene where Sauron says: "You can not hide. I see you..." the Ringwraiths are drawn to the ring. In my opinion, Sauron does see whoever puts on the One Ring in the LOTR movie.
That is just my opinion.

i've been wondering this myself. i've thought of several ways they could have pulled it off though. for one, perhaps we will simply see sam disappear as the orcs approach and not see what sam is experiencing until right before he removes the ring. this would be similar to the scene with boromir and frodo, where we see frodo disappear and run off.

The Ringwraith's were only drawn to the ring because they were in close proximity, from as far as Mordor they could not be drawn all the way to the shire, otherwise Bilbo would have been dead years ago.
