FOTR vs. FOTR Extended Ed.

I bought Fellowship of the Ring Extended Ed. about a week ago... IT IS SSSSOOOOOO much better. You have got to get it. I just noticed it, but I can't believe they didn't put the Phial of Galadriel in the normal movie. Because that is something very important if they are going to show them kill Shelob with it. What did you think of the Extended Edition? I think it was 10x better.

The EE is what saved the movie in my opinion. The character development was better, the rushed scenes that killed it were fleshed out, the cut scenes put in explained more and made the movie run so much smoother.

Yes, Arwen and Saruman's portrayal were still really bad IMO, but all the little changes were taken care of.

I am giving it at least a 50-60% increase in making the movie better.

But how about Aragorn? His character did not come out very good in the EE. With the scene at his mother's grave, he seems to be a wimp. Not like the book at all.

Apart from that, I wish we could have seen the EE in the theaters. It is a better movie. I can't remember a better way to spend money since...... I bought the cinema version on DVD.;)
