If you'd like to visit it (even not knowing Portuguese), CLICK HERE! (www.valinor.com.br).
HEY! We also have a FORUM! (http://forum.valinor.com.br)
See you there!

I didn't understand a word of it, but the graphics and layout are beautiful. Do the Brazilians keep the original Tolkien names? Some East Europeans on the forum say they have different names in their countries. I notice Fëanor escaped any changes (quote on home page).

Hi! Thanks for visiting!
Many names have been changed, but following the original ideas of Tolkien himself. He gave "hints" for the translation of many names into other languages, including Portuguese.
For example, Rivendell has been changed to "Valfenda",
the Carrock is called by brazilians as "Carrocha",
Bilbo Baggins, who? oh well... Bilbo Bolseiro
in spanish I think it´s Bilbo Bolsón ;)
Anyway, there are many names also that haven't been changed, as Arwen, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Elessar, Númenor, Minas Tirith, Orthanc, Isengard, Mordor.
But the One Ring is actually "o Um Anel". ;)
I just love the LotR books!
