i just finished the Sil last night and i'm about to start on Unfinished Tales, but after that, i plan to read the History of Middle Earth 1-12. well, the question is... is there one publisher that puts out all 12 books?? i would like to get a 'matching' set of all twelve, but from what i saw, certain companies only have certain ones. i have the Hobbit through Unfinished in small paperback put out by DelRey, but they only publish 1-5 of the Histories. if possible i would like get all twelve histories of the same make, and i was just wondering if you guys knew of one company or in what form do you have the series. thanks in advance for your help.

I don't have all of the HOME, but I know for sure that Harper Collins has all 12 volumes.
I don't see why other publishers wouldn't have the same.

And Houghton Mifflin Company has printed them all. They are much more expensive than Delrey's but are better editions (some in paperback and some in hardback).

BrandonBrassbow,
I have the Houghton Mifflin set of the History of Middle-earth. I would highly recommend going that direction. Volumes 1, 2, 3, & 5 are currently out of print, but all others are easily available through Amazon or Barnes & Noble. I am referring to the Hardcover set. You can get Volume 1, & 2 in paperback currently. My suggestion is to buy what you can through Amazon.com, then search for Volumes 1, 2, 3, & 5 through either E-Bay or Abebooks.com. I have no doubt that you should be able to find all four volumes in either place within the next couple weeks. The hardest Volume to find is Volume 5 : the Lost Road & Other Writings & Book of Lost Tales II.
